Stefan walks back into the empty bar as we see a witch known as Gloria is sitting, her hands floating above a large tome on a table filled with candles with Niklaus, Axel and Rebekah who is sitting on top of a table
Rebekah:You left us..
Rebekah tells Stefan reminding him as Axel just stays quiet and pours himself a drink; every bone in his body was telling him that Stefan could not be trusted
Stefan:Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode
Niklaus makes a snarky comment towards Rebekah as she pouts over it but Axel walks from behind the counter and leans against the table as Rebekah grabs his right arm and lays her head against it feeling the warmth from his body
Stefan:What's she doing?
Stefan asks wanting to know what Gloria was currently doing with all of her whispering and candles surrounding her
Niklaus:She's failing..
Gloria sighs and while still having her eyes closed she replies back to the original hybrid
Gloria:It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on
Axel takes a long sip of his drink before setting the empty glass aside and whispers something into Rebekah's ear as she hums liking that idea
Rebekah:So use me, I only wore it for a thousand years
Rebekah hops off the table and walks over to Gloria and sits back on the table that the witch is using
Gloria:See? Now this one offers a solution. All right; give me your hand, sweetheart
Rebekah gives Gloria her hand as the witch begins to chant over and over again as Axel spots Stefan slowly getting closer to his wife; his gut feeling only grew that much more about Stefan
Stefan:She's--she's looking for the necklace, huh?
Gloria stops chanting and drops Rebekah's hand as she looks at Niklaus, Axel, Stefan and tells them
Gloria:I found it..
Rebekah almost immediately asks the witch where her necklace is wanting to know the location of it
Gloria:It doesn't work like that, doll. I get images. There's a girl with her friends..
But Rebekah's impatience unfortunately gets the better of her as she raises her voice a little
Rebekah:Yes, a dead girl with dead friends, if I don't get my necklace back
Axel seemingly drowns out the rest of the ongoing conversation; he knew a witch who could was more than capable of finding the necklace, that's actually how he found Rebekah it was because of her that it was possible
By no means was there anything romantical going on between them, he mainly thought of her as a daughter and she thought of him as a powerful protective father with anger issues
Stefan:Hey. Hey, you know, why don't we just come back later? I'm hungry anyway, I'll let you pick who we eat
Stefan starts making for the door and looks back at them as Niklaus looks at Rebekah and gestures for them to leave with Stefan; she rolls her eyes at her brother and sees Axel on his phone
Rebekah:My love..? Are you coming with us?
She had spent so many years away from her husband and she honestly didn't want to waste anymore time without him by her side; Axel looks up from his phone and puts it away as he makes his way over to his wife and smiles a little bit
"Of course, we've been apart for years. I don't want to waste another second without you in it.."
Rebekah's eyes light up with happiness as she gladly wraps her hand around her arm; years apart had a tendency to bring out what they wanted most in their lives and all he wanted was Rebekah

Instead of joining Niklaus and Stefan in whatever they were doing, Axel and Rebekah decided to have some alone time as they walked side by side with Rebekah holding onto Axel's right arm
It was safe to say that some of the people walking past them gave their fair shares of odd glances towards the very tall man who was just so casually walking; nonetheless Axel didn't really care about all of the looks he was getting
Rebekah:This is nice. Both of us, together and without my brother spying on is every two seconds..
Axel chuckled a little bit but he didn't disagree with his wife mainly because she was actually right, for the past one thousand years the paranoid brother would always nitpick their marriage; frankly it was annoying and uncalled for
"Oh, absolutely. But we're together now and trust me I don't plan on letting you go so easily.."
Rebekah only giggled with delight and genuine happiness as Axel pulled her closer as they both continued to walk; the hellhound leaned down and whispered into his wife's ear
"After all we have to make up for lost time..wouldn't you agree?"
A shade of red spread throughout Rebekah's face making Axel smile to himself seeing how quickly he was able to get Rebekah all flustered up; it was quite adorable actually and it was something he would always do to her
They both spot an ice cream shop up ahead as they both agree to go and get some as Axel suddenly hears everything go quiet, he looks around seeing that everything and everyone has been frozen in place almost as if time itself has stopped
"Rebekah. Maybe we should.."
But when Axel turns to check on Rebekah, he sees that she has been frozen aswell. He carefully moves his arm off of her and tries to move her but his efforts amount to absolutely nothing
An immediate sense of dread fills his eyes as Axel keeps trying to move Rebekah over and over again but a voice from behind speaks up
?:I wouldn't bother trying, Axel. We both know that you can't do it..
Axel takes his hands off of Rebekah and slowly begins to turn around as he knew exactly who that voice belonged; it was the reason why he was here to begin with and why he was given such power in the first place
"What have you done..Zarathos?"
Zarathos Morningstar, the son of Lucifer Morningstar otherwise known to all as the Devil. One of the powerful people to ever exist, his power far exceeded any supernatural being on Earth

Zarathos:You know what I did, you've been through this before..
The tension between them began to grow exponentially as Axel's eyes glowed orange but Zarathos remained unfazed and instead waved his hand as Axel was sent flying back and crashed through a brick wall like he was some kind of ragdoll
Zarathos:Don't forget who gave this power, I can just as easily take it away and send you back to the afterlife..
Axel groaned from the impact and slowly got back up as Zarathos gestured the hellhound to follow him, they walked down the street and into an alleyway as a random door appeared out of nowhere as Zarathos opened it
Zarathos:Go on, he wants to see you..
Axel took a deep breath and walked on in as the door behind him almost immediately closed making him unable to leave; the sound of a piano being played could be heard as Axel looked around seeing that he was in some kind of club
He followed the sound as he only grew closer and closer to it, the air smelled almost intoxicated which could only mean there was alcohol involved; the sound of the piano had finally stopped with Axel now standing before the person in charge and that certain individual was none other then the Devil himself
Lucifer Morningstar turned around from his piano and greeted Axel with his charismatic and ever so charming smile that only he could pull off

Lucifer:My, my. A thousand years and you still haven't aged a bit..
Lucifer stood up and adjusted his suit as he walked past Axel and over to the bar to pour himself a drink and without even turning around to face the hellhound he said
Lucifer:I do believe it's time that you and I had a little chat, hm?
Lucifer held out another glass that had whiskey in it as Axel carefully approached Lucifer and took the glass from him; their chat was going to be a very interesting one to say the least
