「Tracking」has reached Level 4
I slide to a stop once I start seeing foxes and quickly hide.
I sneak around the edges of the forest and look to see what's happening.
The foxes seem to be keeping their distance from a large fire around them.
With the surrounding trees also dyed red from flames it looks like a dangerous situation.
In the flames I see my siblings together.
Zelfeijoas and Relitiesia.
Both of them are in bad shape, especially Zelfeijoas.
His back leg looked torn and ripped at, even from a distance.
For now let's try and find the leader of this group.
From the last group one of them let out a few howls and yelps as if giving commands to the others.
If I can find the boss of these foxes, then I can take them down.
And judging from the collection of Yokinar and Vulrena, I can safely guess the boss is probably the strongest of the Yokinar, so…

Four of them.
From the looks of it, it seems like the third one I saw is the strongest and smartest of the bunch.
That means it's probably the leader.
I'll sneak up as close as I can to it and attack from there.
My siblings are still in trouble, but I think they're fine for now.
The vulrenas aren't trying to attack, and their numbers aren't growing.
Now I just need to get close to them and strike their weak point.
「Weak Point Search」
A glowing light shows up on the back of the Yokinar's neck.
There's another light showing up on the underbelly of the white fox as well.
That light was also lit up, though the light was more pink than the one on the foxes' neck.
Well between the two, I'm aiming for the neck to keep it from giving out more commands.
Slowly, I sneak up as stealthy as I can.
Slowly.
Move Slowly.
We don't want to get caught now.
Just a little bit…
Now!
I jump at the fox, claws out and fangs bared towards its neck.
It was quick to react and turned just in time to avoid my fangs on its throat.
My claws however managed to slash at its neck.
A large gash formed from the point of contact as I quickly landed and tried to jump at it once more.
It jumped back now positioned to face me as a few other foxes turned to look our way.
"Little Brother!" Zelfeijoas growls happily.
"Felsaneo." Relitiesia gasps out.
"Hang on you two. Once I get this fox, it should be easier to finish them off."
Well I say that, but I'm not sure if I did anything to the fox except anger it.

Despite its bleeding neck, it seems to be fine.
Still the damage I did to it should-- what the heck!?
A soft green glow came off the Yokinar and the bleeding it was facing seemed to stop.
What more its HP was climbing.
This dumb fox can heal itself!?
That's not far!
I growl before taking a deep breath and letting out a strong wind breath towards -- where did it go?
It just vanished right in front of me.
「Accelerated Thinking」「Tracking」Map.
The map is showing nothing, even though I can see myself and the forest on it.
Like hell I'm letting you get the drop on me.
As I use tracking, a barrage of scents pop up and basically cross and blend over each other.
Its not that I can't figure out the main foxes scent from them all, it more like…just smelling the other scents are distractions.
There's sweet and sour scents, even awful smelling scents.
I shake my head before looking around trying to find the fox, even looking up and down.
By the time I turn to look behind I find my fur quickly ignited by red flames.
Once more it hurt and only by putting it out with my wind breath could I stop it from dealing me more damage…eh?
I feel really drained all of a sudden.
Not really tired but, almost most like…
It's hard to breathe.

Regardless, I still remember that if SP drops too low then it will start to affect my body.
So it's trying to chip away at my health from two sides.
Truly living up to your high INT stat.
But you're not the only one who can scheme.
I take a deep breath and let out a wind breathe towards the fox.
As expected it dodged.
I keep doing the same thing over and over aiming for the places it would land while still trying to attack it.
So far no attacks have landed, but the stage was set.
I can't keep letting it sap away my heath.
Now focus.
I take a deep breath out before inhaling as much air as I could.
It's a bit redundant to this, but it's the only way I know how to make my breaths come out.
I then try to focus to track down and keep an eye on the fox.
Once more the scent of the fox is intermingled with everything, but that's fine.
Afterall, as a dragon I have more than one way to track things down.
Focus Felsaneo.

There!
I turn and quickly exhale out a massive wind breath at the fox.
A loud bang echoes through the air.
Arf!
The fox flew back from the impact as I swung my claw down.
Several swirling cyclones dropped from the sky onto the grounded fox.

Its HP is slowly ticking down.
I'm not done with you though.
I let out a loud roar before firing several acid breaths into the downward cyclones.
The whines and flailing from the fox gets stronger.

All I have to do is keep this up.
「Danger Detection」
I quickly ran from my spot as several flames hit where I was before.
A quick glance shows the other three Yokinar's finally stepping in.
Two of them moved to surround me as the third moved to the first's side.
It was glowing green alongside the first one.
This one also has healing magic.
Tsk, all that damage I did is suddenly being undone.
I guess I'll have to take you out as well - huh?
I jump back, seeing one of the two Yokinar's shoot a flame my way.
It's glaring at me pretty intensely.
Did it catch on to my killing intent?
Do I have a killing intent?
I'd be fine if they let us be, but they attacked my siblings.
I like dragons more than foxes.
I turn to the Yokinar I was attacking before and the one healling it.
I take one step towards them before the other two moved, as if to pounce.
I see.
In that case.
「Fire Cowl」
The second my fur ignited, the two Yokinar's jumped at me.
Guess they don't fear my flames.
Too bad.
「Wind Dragon Breath」
I let out a small and thin wind breath right past the two and right at the foxes neck once more.
As expected, if I can focus my breaths into different shapes their properties change.
From that wind burst to this stream, its possible.
What more this attack wasn't just to hit it with wind.
My flames feed off my attack, and like a fuse they followed the flow of the wind breath and raced towards the Yokinar.
The wind attack slammed into the fox' neck followed by a sudden eruption of flame on it.
I jump forward right as the attack hits and turn to the other two foxes right as they land.
I'm not done yet.
Control the wind and spread the flames.
For all your fire, you guys aren't fire proof.
If one of you is going to heal, then I'll do more damage then before.
I hear the howls of the other Yokinar as I face the charge of the other two.
I kick off the ground towards them, running straight ahead.
With claws and fangs bared, I jump forward at them.
I missed.
They were prepared for my attack and simply moved out of the way.
Mission accomplished.
Goodbye!
I use a small puff of a wind breath to blow away the flames on my body and kept on running into the forest.
I keep moving my legs, checking behind me and my map to see if I'm being followed.
No sign of any foxes around but…
Two blue blips appear on my map.
The shape of the emblems looked much like my own white one.
I turn towards them with a few huffs and jump through some shrubs to find them resting.
"Ha..ha…hey." I growl out tired.
"Little Brother!" Zelfeijoas growls out relived as he was laying down.
"Were you followed?" Relitiesia asked.
"No." I huffed out, trying to catch my breath. "I checked a lot."
I really feel tired.
It's kind of strange actually.
I've been tired before, but never like this.
I have to sit down.
Plop.
And now I'm laying down.
Good job me.

It wasn't easy playing the decoy.
Those attacks I made weren't just to kill those yokinar things.
I wanted to give my siblings enough time to run.
Using wind breaths, I aimed to trip up the yokinar I was attacking, while also striking at any foxes in the area around them.
Swift kills with the help of 「Weak Point Search」on their leader.
If it's a weak point for the vulrena and yokinar, it must be for all of them.
I can simply strike at all the vulrena and kill them without notice.
Once the path was clear, I just had to tell my siblings to run.
After that, I just had to find a good chance to escape and meet up with them.
I would've liked to kill one of those foxes, but severely injuring one works as well.
I just wasn't expecting to be this tired afterwards.
SP going down really has a bigger effect than MP going down.
When I'm low on MP it just becomes harder to keep focus.
With low SP it seems like my stamina takes the hit.
I let out a heavy breath before looking at my siblings once more.
"Anyways, you two need to head back and find the others." I growl. "After finding the others-"
"You're going back out alone!?"
"Quite!" Relitiesia whispers as she quickly placed her claws around Zelfeijoas' muzzle. "Do you want us to be found?"
I perk my ears up and look around.

…
…Nothing.
"Look, I know it's dangerous, but the sooner we find our siblings, the better our chance of surviving becomes." I motion to the bushes. "Those foxes are different from the other ones. If we aren't careful all of could be in serious --"
"Everyone! Move!"
Suddenly Xayuzula jumped into our bush and tackled me.
"Goah!" I grunt as I roll along the ground with her.
"Grah!" "Grwah!"
I hear Zelfeijoas and Relitiesia's squeaks and grunts follow.
I look up just in time to see a massive blue flame blast right into the bush area where we were, before exploding, and sending Xayuzula and I flying further back from the wind of the explosion alone.
What an attack.
Seriously! What kind of attack was that?
I look to Xayuzula, but she just huffs climbing off me.
"Come on!" She huffs out "We have to run!"
Before I can even ask what's going on I see Baelvari, Zelfeijoas, and Relitiesia running through the flames and smoke over and past us.
"Big fox!"
"Run!"
"Felsaneo! Run!"
As Zelfeijoas, Relitiesia, and Baelvari ran past me, I quickly got to my feet and started to run behind them with Xayuzula.
My curiosity however was peaked as I hear a loud thud behind us, as well as several danger detection warnings behind.

I peek back and my eyes go wide.
A large gold colored fox with, bright red markings on its face, paws and tail. Blue flames circled its collar as it turned towards us.

Its eyes lock onto mine and the world around me turns cold.
Time slows for several long seconds as its gaze meets mine.
Its cold deep purple eyes lock with my own and for a second.
That second told me all I needed.
This fox is the there leader; their king.
We killed a lot of his kind, and he wants us dead.
He was ready to hunt us down forever, if need be.
And his first target.
Me.
I kick off the ground, every nerve in my body forces me to run for dear life with my siblings.
"Dammit all! He's actually gonna kill us!" I roar out, panic unable to be hidden in my voice.
I hear a loud howl followed by several steps in the back.
I don't wanna look.
