Laila gnawed on her new nails, "Do I look good?"
She was getting ready for her interview and called Theo for help.
She wore a pencil skirt with a dress shirt, blazer and high heels.
"You look good. Now stop that shit of biting nails, irritating as fuck". Theo grumbled
Laila sighed, "Sorry, I'm just so nervous"
Theo shrugged, "I think you gon' get it. You got experience in customer sevice given that you work as a waitress and you're business minded, stop being nervous"
"You think?", Laila fiddled with her nails
Theo looked over to her fiddling, "you just on a mission to irritate me today. Stop that shit"

Laila sat across her maybe-boss as she asked her questions.
"Why do you want to work as my assistant?", The employer, Tamia Roberts asked her
Laila sighed, "Honestly because it pays good but also because I want the experience of how to work around a business independently and I think being your assistant would give me that experience"
Tamia nodded her head, "Okay well thank you Ms. Laila, you got the job. Orientation starts next week Thrusday and work begins begins the following Tuesday.", she shook Laila's hand as she stood up
"Thank you, Ms.Roberts!", Laila squealed walking out
Theo got up from his seat seeing Laila walk out out, "I got the job!"
Theo smiled hugging her, "I told you, I'm proud of you baby"
"C'mon, our flight for Chicago leaves in like two hours", Theo said as he and Laila walked out
Laila's heels clanked on the floor as the walked to the car.
Theo turned around, "Take them shoes off, irritating the shit outta me, no joke"
