Tyree Jones
I couldn't believe that my baby sister was the one that I got the call for when the operator told me that there were two men entering a home and shots were fired. My heart dropped because I thought that I was going to lose her forever, just like I did when Cain bitch ass took her away from our family years ago. He erased her whole identity as a Jones, I couldn't find her in the system when I was trying to track her whereabouts. Until last night Cain Washington popped up on the screen as the owner of the mansion. It's like she disappeared from the universe, I'm glad it was me who took the call so that I could talk some sense into her. Officer Mendez was my ex fiancee so she looked at me goofy when I asked to be alone with my sister, like I was going to seduce her or something, eww. Once we talked about everything I knew for a fact that she was done with him but she's too scared to get away from him.
After they took pictures of her body for evidence and I took her statement we walked out of my office to get back in my patrol car so I could take her home she fainted right in the middle of the floor. I ran to her and called out her name then picked her up in my arms to take her outside to my patrol car when Mina Mendez tried to stop me.
"Move Mina"-I yelled
"What are you doing? Call the ems she's not your responsibility"-Mina
"She is my responsibility because I brought her here and if you don't get the fuck out of my way I'll make sure she slaps you when she becomes conscious. This is my fucking sister so if she doesn't wake up because you want to be a bitch about every time you see a woman around me I'll get you arrested for interference of stopping me from helping her. Now move Mina."-I said pushing past her
"Damn you got read like a book"-I heard Sasha say behind us
I ran to my patrol car and slowly sat Olivia up then tried putting her seat belt on but my hands were shaking uncontrollably.
"I got you, just get in the back and I'll drive"-Sasha said grabbing the keys from me
"Thanks Sasha"-Tyree
"You're welcome"-She said getting in the front
I got in the back and held my sister in my arms praying that she's okay.
"So this is the sister you been looking for over the years?"-Sasha
"Yes, I'm glad I was the one to get the call"-I sighed
"Me too you been pulling your hair out since she disappeared out of the system"-Sasha
"Yeah I just hope that she's okay, I gotta call my parents"-Tyree
"She should be fine, since you got her out of there right away"-Sasha
I went silent and checked her pulse, she was breathing slow and started coughing. Sasha stepped on the gas and put on the siren then drove to the hospital as fast as she could. We arrived in five minutes and there was already a team of nurses and doctors waiting for us. I got out and carried her to the gurney then they ran off with her into the emergency room. I sighed and sat on the curb.
"You have to get up and go wait in there for her so she has someone protecting her just in case someone else is sent for her. I'll cover for you."-Sasha
"Thanks Sasha I appreciate you"-I said getting up
"No problem just make sure you pay me back soon"-She said winking and got in the car
"I got you, take care"-I said smiling
She smiled back and drove off then I went into the emergency room to wait, God please let her be okay I prayed. I knew eventually I had to tell my parents I found her because they have been waiting years for a moment like this but I didn't want them to see her all banged up. So I just group chat them saying, "I found Liv, she's beautiful and looks just like a split image of mom. I'll be sure to give yall more details when I see her" Instantly a reply came back,
"What? Are you serious about my baby girl being alive?"-Dad said
"Yes I saw her last night, she misses yall"-I lied a little
"Oh my God hallelujah, thank you Jesus you have done your job my Lord"-Mom said
"I'll bring her to yall soon"-Tyree
"Ty thank you for finding our baby girl, you don't know how much this means to us and our family"-Dad said
"I know dad, I told you I would never give up on her"-Tyree
"Call us as soon as you can sweetie"-Mom said
"I will ma, sorry to bother yall so late"-Tyree
"It's alright sweetie glad you told us"-Mom said
"Yeah what your mom said"-Dad said
"Talk to yall later"-Tyree
"Okay Ty"-They both texted
"Officer Jones?"-Dr. Maxine
"Yes?"-Dr. Maxine
"Mrs. Washington is doing fine, she just fainted due to exhaustion. She just needed some sleep, you can go in and see her if you want"-Dr. Maxine
"Thank you Max"-I said smiling
She nodded and walked away, I went to Olivia's room and saw her laying in bed sleeping peacefully. I opened the door slowly trying not wake her up but failed when she opened her eyes to look at me and cried.
"Ty?"-Olivia
"Liv, you're awake"-Tyree
"What happened?"-Olivia
"You fainted so I brought you to the hospital"-Tyree
"Did you tell mom and dad?"-Olivia
"Not what happened but that I found you and will bring you to them when you're ready"-Tyree
"I miss them so much and I'm sorry I put you through so much trouble to find me. I actually erased my identity from the system so that you wouldn't look for me, I was scared that something would happen to yall if Cain found out I had contact with yall after all these years."-Olivia
"They miss you too, you're telling me an officer that you hacked into the police system to erase any trace of you when I was looking hard to find out where you were? Do you know how much I went through to make sure you weren't dead?"-I said in disbelief
"I said I'm sorry Ty what do you want me to say, it was stupid? No it protected you, mom and dad from ruthless Cain. Then I got someone else possibly in this mess too by using my damn main phone and Cain will see it ugh. You have to help me with something Ty."-She said in a panic
"What's up? What do you need?"-I said concerned
"Bring me a laptop and call this number for me. Don't go into deep detail with the person and tell them you'll meet them soon."-Olivia
"What do you need a laptop for? Is it illegal?"-Tyree
"Don't worry about it just do what I asked please?"-Olivia
"Okay, okay give me the number"-Tyree
She wrote the number down on the back of my business card and I walked out to get a laptop from one of the officers on duty near the main entrance. I thanked him then went back in the room to give the laptop to Olivia after I logged in my credentials. She grabbed it and started typing fast as hell on it then I went into the hallway to call this number she gave me while I was getting some coffee. The person picked up on the first ring and I put on my professional voice.
"Hello?"
"Good morning, my name is Officer Jones of Los Angeles precinct I was calling this number back because this was the last number a victim called when they were almost kidnapped. I was wondering do you know who Olivia Washington is?"-Tyree
He dropped the phone and it seemed like it took him a minute to pick it up.
"Hello? Sir are you there?"-Tyree
"Yes I'm here sorry. I do know her, just never knew her last name. What do you mean she was almost kidnapped?"-He sighed
"Well I can't tell you much over the phone, is it okay if we meet up to discuss further?"-Tyree
"Uh I'm actually in Jamaica right now for a few more days but I can give you my address and we can talk when I come back"-He explained
"Great what is it? I'll definitely come by when you're ready sir"-I said grabbing my notepad
"It's 16920 Sunny Dale Road"-He said
"And your name is?"-Tyree
"Chris Brown"-Chris
"Wait what?"-I said getting out of my professional character
"Chris Brown"-Chris
"Wow my sister knows you"-I said walking into a room
"Sister? She never told me she has a brother"-He said confused
"Yeah aww damn there's probably a lot she didn't tell you I'm sure. But I'll tell you what I can when you're back in town."-Tyree
"Okay cool, thanks for calling me"-Chris
"No problem you have a great day Mr. Brown"-I said getting back into my professional character
"You too"-He said hanging up
I was shocked that my sister knows Chris Brown, how the hell is that even possible? I mean Cain does own the top entertainment company in Los Angeles but he damn sure wouldn't let any man get close to Olivia even if he was the one cheating. I walked back into her room and she still was typing away on the laptop until she said.
"Done, did you talk to him?"-Olivia
"How do you know Chris Brown?"-I said still in shock
"Long story, I just wish I met him before I met Cain but I just erased the history of me calling Chris on my phone and told T-mobile to print out another bill with just Cain's number on it so he doesn't know anything about it then send it to the mansion right away."-She said nonchalant
"What are you? That still doesn't answer the question how do you know Chris Brown?"-Tyree
"I met him 10 days ago at Bottega Louie for a silly little lunch date contest and we were just having dinner with another woman who was chosen. I left immediately because Cain came home, once Cain and I were settled in the night I messaged Chris to hang out sometime because I couldn't stop feeling bad about how I left. After a while we became friends but he pushed me too far and I asked that we don't see each other anymore. It was due to me feeling so wrong for loving another man when I'm legally married to a cheating, psycho asshole. That's why I ended up calling him from my main phone because he was the only one I could run to in my time of need."-She said frustrated
"Wow that's romantic"-I said laughing
"Shut up"-She said blushing
"Anyway you can now call on me if you need anything, I'm here now Liv. I promise I won't let nothing else happen to you."-I said grabbing her hand
"I know Ty, I know"-She said squeezing my hand
"Well I'll be right back. Officer King will be outside your door and will keep you safe until I get back, try to get some rest"-I said hugging her then walking to the door with the laptop
"I will thanks again Ty"-She said smiling
"Of course"-I said closing the door
I looked at her one more time and gave Officer King back his laptop.
"Officer King please keep a close eye on my sister just in case someone else may come for her. I'm putting her in your hands to protect her please, I just got her back"-I begged him
"I got you I know how long you were looking for her and how hard it's been on you, don't worry she's safe with me."-He said patting me on the shoulder
"Thanks"-I said nodding
I walked away from her door and got on the elevator to get to the lobby when someone got off looking suspicious, we locked eyes and the doors closed. Fuck I thought, somebody is here for Olivia again, the doors opened up to the second floor and I ran up one flight of steps to get to the third floor again. I pushed through the door and hit a man holding Olivia by the neck.
"Let her go and drop the gun"-I yelled with my gun drawn
"Well if it isn't Officer Jones way to reunite with your sister"-He said with a familiar certainty
"Who ever you are, you know that I'll end whomever that will try to harm her right?"-I said moving closer
"Can't believe you don't remember me, I have been there all along keeping a watchful eye on this pretty thing right here"-He said kissing her neck
"Get your dirty lips off me, you bastard"-She said struggling
"Haha don't think you should be calling me disrespectful names when your life is in my hands"-He said laughing
"I'm warning you one more time"-I said shooting near his ear
"You cunt, you do realize I have a gun to your sister's head right?"-He said holding his ear
"Let me go Jerome"-She yelled at him
"Not until Kyra has her way with Cain and shows him the pregnancy test then you'll be just a distant memory and I can finally have you to myself"-Jerome
"You can't be serious Jerome the brother to Kyra Johnson who Olivia went to school with?"-I said in shock
"Wow she managed to get the idiot from under me this whole time all off yall deserve to go to hell because I could careless about Cain. Trust me there's no ill will from me to him and I will never let you lay a hand on me you prick"-She said biting him and he let her go
I put her behind me and he tried shooting at the both of us but I shot him first then kicked his gun away.
"You cunts won't live another day when Cain finds out"-He yelled while holding his legs
"And you might never walk again, you idiot"-I said grabbing his gun with some gloves and cuffing him to the railing
"Officer Jones what happened? I'm sorry I just stepped away to help someone and Olivia was gone"-Officer King
"This man right here tried to kidnap my sister, it's not your fault I shouldn't have asked you to leave your post Officer King. But she's safe, call someone to take him away and I'll be taking my sister home."-I said grabbing Olivia's hand and handing him the gun in a plastic bag
"This is Officer King I'm here at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and we have a suspect who tried to kidnap the victim in an ongoing case lying on the third floor stairwell by room 313. Who's been hit with two bullets for shooting at an officer."-Officer King said in his radio
"Copy that, what's the name of the suspect?"-Radio person
"Jerome Johnson"-I said
"But he goes by Jerome Williams now"-Olivia said behind me
"Thank you, that's Jerome Johnson but he goes by Jerome Williams now"-Officer King
"Copy that, two officers are on the way in 2. Is the victim hurt in anyway?"-Radio person
"No ma'am Officer Jones came just in time to protect her"-Officer King
"Officer Jones to which one is that?"-Radio person
"Tyree"-I said
"Tyree Jones from Los Angeles precinct"-Officer King
"Copy that Officer King"-Radio person
"10-4"-Officer King
"We'll be going now"-I said grabbing Olivia by the hand after two more officers came in the stairwell
"Good evening Officer Jones, Officer King"-Sasha said with a straight face
"Good evening Officer Castle"-I said trying not to smile
"Have a good day Officer Jones"-Sasha said picking up Jerome roughly
"Ow you bitch"-He grunted
"Watch your mouth that's Ms. Bitch to you"-She said smirking
I pulled Olivia down the two flights of stairs and checked the exit to make sure that it was clear before we walked out.
"Come on let's get you out of here"-I said walking her to my car
She walked beside me with her head down and said nothing but got in my car then put her seat belt on.
"Why would all of them go against me what have I done to them?"-She said crying
"You did absolutely nothing but be who you are and they just hate how pure you are because they are the devil's seeds in disguise. Don't worry I'll make sure all of them go down for what they have done to you. Cain is not as powerful as he thinks he is because some people have to get knocked down from their thrones eventually. I'll make sure of it, we have to build a case against him. I got your phone from evidence because I don't trust nobody and either one of them could be under Cain's payroll. I sent over the case to my D.A. friend he should handle it properly and get it sent to a judge when you're ready to testify."-I said glancing at her then back to the street
"I'm glad that you took matters in your own hands because that female Officer Mendez looks lethal as hell, she looked like she wanted to rip my head off when you asked to be alone with me."-Olivia
"Yeah she's a bitch and mad because I broke off our engagement because I caught her having a three some with two of the officers in my precinct in the men's bathroom."-Tyree
"Damn and she still has a job? They let females off easy I see."-She said laughing
"Yup she probably fucked the judge too"-I shrugged
"Sorry for her loss, but please don't take me back there to that mansion"-She begged
"Where will you go then?"-I asked confused
"I have my own place in West Hollywood, Cali that I brought without Cain knowing. Only Chris knows where I live and well now you. Take me to this address."-She said typing it in my gps
"It's a good thing you had a plan just in case"-I said proud of her
"Yeah I brought it when he stopped caring about me and would sneak out to answer calls at night. I have my own money too because I invested in a few stocks."-Olivia
"That's good, you got any men's clothes because I know you still be wearing them baggy clothes since you were young. I need to get out this top flight security of the world uniform."-I said laughing
"You goofy but yeah you know I can't get enough of men's clothes yall stuff be fire"-She said laughing
"Bet and I'm starving"-Tyree
"Bruh I'm not cooking for you too, mom taught you how to cook just like me so you help yourself kid"-Olivia
"You still petty I see"-I said smirking

"It's actually Janae but I wonder did Chris Brown find out about ya smart ass mouth yet?"-Tyree
"Blah, pull in the parking garage"-She said sticking her tongue out at me
"You so childish"-I said laughing and pulling in the parking garage
"Follow me"-She said getting out
I got out and closed the door then locked up my patrol car, I followed behind her then we got on an elevator. She pressed the button for the penthouse and we went up then she put a code in to open the doors.
"Well damn, you still got a boyish style huh?"-I said admiring her place
"Yup Chris liked it too so"-She said shrugging
"I don't know what you're talking about but I don't want to hear it, anyway where's the bathroom?"-I said geekin'
"It's not what you think so shut up and in the back to the left, I'll leave you some clothes out. You still where a size 6 shoe right?"-Olivia
"That was when I was 16 stupid, I'm a grown ass man now who wears a 13 in a half"-I said making a face
"Oh you grew into your body now wow good job, bet pick out some sneakers in the walk-in closet next to the bathroom."-She said smirking
"What you selling sneakers too?"-Tyree
"Yup it's a side hustle and sometimes men's clothes too"-She said nonchalant
"What else do you do I don't know about?"-Tyree
"Nothing illegal if you're wondering"-She shrugged
"Um hmm don't let me find out and tell mom or dad"-Tyree
"Yeah like the snitch you are since kids, go take a shower and I'll pick out something for you"-Olivia
"Aight mom"-I said laughing walking into the bathroom
"Whatever Josiah"-She called out
I laughed, closed the door, locked it, got out of my uniform then sat my gun on the counter along with my phone and keys. It's been a long two days, thank God I got my sister back and we are going to take Cain Washington, Kyra Johnson down by any means necessary. I turned the shower on and washed myself up. I got to pay Sasha back for helping me out, she's the only one that's been good to me ever since I found out about what Mina did. It's only right that I bring Sasha home to my parents when Olivia is ready to go see them. I finished in the shower then grabbed a towel and walked into the walk-in closet Olivia was talking about to grab some sneakers she had every new pair of sneakers or every limited pair in this closet. I picked out some Air Max 1 LV8 White, Martian, Sunrise and there was a red polo shirt with some grey Nike sweatpants and socks laying on a couch arm. I threw on my boxers and put everything on then brushed my head to smooth out my waves.
"Aye that's the Ty I know, outside of uniform"-Olivia
"Yeah I look good as fuck don't I."-I said smirking
"Nah I'm the only good looking one mom and dad had, you're average but you cool"-She said laughing
"Please you trippin' little one"-I said fluffing her hair
"Stop it takes time to do this hair"-She said smacking me upside the head
"You so annoying"-Tyree
"Yeah same here bro"-She said mocking me
"Go rest I'm going to go"-I said hugging her
"I am, but you don't get nobody pregnant because I'm not watching no bad ass kids"-She said hugging me back
"Get outta here, I don't want nobody's kids right now"-I said laughing
"Um hmm, drive safe Ty"-Olivia
"I will call me when you wake up"-I said grabbing all my stuff and getting on the elevator
"I will bye Ty"-Olivia
"See you later Liv and what I tell you never say bye always say see you later"-I said smiling
"I know I love you Ty, see you later"-Olivia
"I love you too Liv"-I said as the doors closed
God please protect my sister, I just got her back and don't want to lose her again. I hope that we can end all of this so she can go out in public without having to look behind her thinking everybody is trying to kill her. God knows I'll murder anybody for her. I put that on my life.
