I scout over the bed to give her more space . I live together with Lea ever since I finished my degree. She helped me get a vacancy at the best company in Toronto : OB ELECTRONICS as a cyber actuary I just started working there at the beginning of last year.
"You know immediately you left Mr O'Briain came right into the party and gave a speech then he promised to give each employee some bonuses imagine ! You should have waited for him since you have never met him yet ."

Last year apparently I wanted to get laid and look where it got me, it gave me a lifetime trauma .I couldn't sleep the whole night, immediately I escaped that place.
I just walked out of the event took a taxi and went back home I had to inform Lea that I was feeling sick because I couldn't face her I was literally shaking I was so scared. I don't even know what to do if I want to even get out of here .
My anxiety are kicking in. We cuddled together for a while till when Lea stated that she is going to attend a club ceremony held by Fin's new boyfriend since apparently he got laid yesterday but I didn't.
But anyways she got ready and left me all alone with Laus my tiny tabby cat at the house. As soon as she left I locked all the doors windows, drew the curtains and just stayed alert while keeping up with the Kardashians new season with Laus. At 1 am Lea came right back drunk and we slept.

This company has alot of employees so it's very rare for the CEO to like meet an employee of a lower rank ,someone like me .
Not lowest rank but the department I'm from it's not the most focused on . I'm so sure that he has forgotten me , that's what I kept telling myself all morning ever since I stepped foot into this huge building and as we were told that their is an announcement that is an emergency we went to the hall took our seats and waited
.All of the leaders were present including him. When he just walked through the door my heart beat increased. I could get a clear image of him today since that day it was dark . His dark hair was still neatly styled just like the other day his posture calm as he took confident strides with his hands on his Black trouser pockets , he had worn a white shirt that exposed his muscled arms which was wrong of me to acknowledge , his tie tightly tied around his neck. Everyone's eyes were on him obviously .
He together with his brother took a seat at a more raised place where you could have a clear view of him .You could tell the resemblance between the two from the mouth shape ,the eye colour to the way they woke but you can differentiate them from their aura when they are around . Cole seems as an easy going guy he is charming and lovely whenever he smiles the day becomes better. I have met him and even greeted him once but for what I witnessed I think Clay is different .
" Good morning my fellow workers as you know the new year's event was a huge important event where very important guests came over and we're pleased ,some of those guests were investors who wanted to partner with us and we were so happy to let them in. Unfortunately we have a sad news about one of our most important partner in this Mr Owen who unfortunately he passed away yesterday " Cole turned stated the speech as he turned towards the projector to show us the face of that old man who didn't die yesterday
" Mr Owen was a great guy who helped us out he was close to both my brother and I and we valued him he was attacked by some robbers shot and hit him the robbed him of his valuables while he was so drunk after the party sadly he was left there to die.
When he was found he was rushed to the mortuary

After the leaders walked out of the conference meeting I guess we went back to our work . I was still jumpy and cautious every time that my fellow work mate were giving me weird looks . Later at lunch my fellow work mates were going to take lunch

On turning around it was really him he seemed to be looking at the cafeteria door while sipping on some tea I guess , is he by any chance looking for me ? I began shaking ' calm down' I told myself .
I sat down but couldn't get anything in my mouth . I was praying he doesn't even glance in my direction.
" Why aren't you eating are you not hungry? "
Jude who was having a feast with her food asked . My appetite went out of the window immediately I saw him , I don't want to die . I felt like crying there and then
" Just tired want my food ? " " Sure but I think you should see a doctor since on the new year's eve I heard you were sick you should take an off
" that will be great " yeah I will thank you "
"I think I will head out " No just keep me company I don't want to be alone " she smiled brightly at me .
Luckily Clay left after some minutes I think he was here for his business I hope, moreover this is his building is it his or his family I don't know .
Later when I arrived home I was shocked to find Lea packing."where are you going right now?" She kept on pacing back and forth packing her stuffs
" I took one week off George told me that he is sick and wants me to go over to take care of him and I couldn't say no it's been a long time since we met and I need to see him "
Huh, about that selfish jerk again he has never taken a day off to come visit Lea here not once or thrice it's always her she is the one trying hard to keep this relationship going . I try to tell her that he doesn't make an effort but she just goes back to him nothing I tell her can change her mind
" you are going right now?" " Yeah my flight is at 10 you know so I have to head over there right now I haven't even bathed ugh" "just go take a shower I'll help you pack" " thanks you are the best" she squealed as she kiss my cheek and ran to the shower.
" Be safe okay don't worry I'll come back after a week if you feel lonely call fin over but Mrs Laus is here or you can call your hometown friend " " she lives a miles away and she is busy so no" I hugged her and she went into the taxi " byeee!" And left me .
I could sense someone watching me from a far I don't know it gave me chills . I got in and just stayed all night awake I couldn't sleep alone with the thought that there is a man out there to get me not directly or that I'm sure but I can't risk being killed in my sleep so just like that I stayed all night awake.
"Babes you look like shit , your eyes bag are like very clear are you okay ? Or is it that you are scared staying by your self " " Yeah I have Laus but still do you wanna come over for a sleepover for a week?" " yeah no, sorry bestie my new boyfriend is around so I cant come over but you can come stay with us " he winked.
Yeah No. The whole of yesterday I didn't get enough sleep I just rested my eyes at 3 am and woke up at 6 to head to work . I'm so exhausted I'll pass out. I think I'll take some strong drink later today so that I can rest or else I'll run mad so I cant go over at fins house since he is still getting laid .
" Are you in a serious relationship with him?" "I guess I think he comes over most of the time and just hang you know " " later I think I'll go to a club to drink a little wanna join me ?" " Why not I'm here for you you need to let go, I'll be waiting for you at the parking lot at 7 ok ?" " Okay thanks" we met and headed to the nearest club and I took some shots since for me it relieve some stress and give me a good sleep. I just wanna go cuddle Laus right now .
At 10 pm I decided that I need to head back home . I told Fin to take me home and he agreed since that is the least he can do, his words. " I have not been getting enough sleep I need to sleep today or I'll die " he laughed " What's keeping you up all night ? Is it a man ?" Ha! Technically yes but not in that way "No I have been having migraine and I think my head hurts you know "
We were talking while walking heading to his car when a motor cycle that was heading towards us approached us at a high speed and the next thing I heard was gunshot then my hands were grabbed and we started running fast
" What's happening ? " I shouted while confused, there were now two motorcycles after us.
" I have no idea let's take that small route they can't drive over there since it's too narrow"
More gun shots were heard and then I felt a gunshot on my left arm . We ran fast and passed the small alley and waited .
"You are bleeding " "same as you" Fin was shot at his left arm too .
I think it's Clay who is after me I can't let Fin be in danger " We should head home fast" "Do you know why we are chased Almasi? " " No why ?" "Nothing just wondering if you perhaps have any idea what could they possibly wat from us ? It's weird especially since they are hidden they look like hit men."
" I don't know I'm even tired of thinking of this, if I'll die let it be but my friend can't get into this mess " I don't know I think that it's because may be they are robbers ,I don't know let's just head home drop me off please and you can head home"

He kept on refusing to let me go home alone but I insisted on it reasoning that it wasn't that bad , after dressing our wounds he drove me home . Tired, hurt and exhausted I climbed the stairs opened the house door and entered into the house, dropped all my stuffs on the floor and searched for the light switch in the dark . immediately I switched on the light a voice was heard "Welcome home darling"
