ASAKHE SAT ON ONE OF THE BAR STOOLS NEAR THE COUNTER IN THE KITCHEN SIPPING ON SOME CHAMOMILE TEA.

The princess had woken up a few hours after everyone had gotten back and couldn't go back to sleep so she had gone to the kitchen to make some tea hoping that it would help slightly.

"You're awake." Alec's voice broke her from her thoughts and the blonde turned around in her seat only to indeed spot the Lightwood male standing in the kitchen's entrance.

"Yeah and I guess he really didn't wanna go shopping." Asa sighed softly and she smiled lightly when she heard Alec chuckle.

"How you feeling? You had us worried." Alec asked as he walked further into the kitchen before finding a seat beside the blonde girl.

"I'll be okay." Asa shrugged, especially considering everything else she's been through, she knew that she would bounce back.

"I'm sure you will." Alec agreed as he tucked a piece of the girls blonde hair behind her ear and the blonde girl sent him an appreciative smile back.

Asakhe then watched as her phone which was on the counter lit up and she let out a sad sigh as she saw her wallpaper which was a picture of her with her family.

Alec noticed how quick the blonde had deflated.

"You okay?" Alec asked concerned.

Asakhe shrugged. "I just feel like I've abandoned them when they need me the most but I also would've put them in more danger if I stayed." She explained.

"Don't think like that." Alec spoke softly as he moved his hand up and down the girls back and rubbed soft circles on it.

Asakhe sighed softly and leant into Alec's comforting embrace letting the Lightwood hold her.

"Come on, stand up." Alec sudden spoke as he was struck by an idea.

Asakhe was confused but went along with it, trusting the Lightwood was about to cheer her up in some way.

"Pass me your phone." Alec demanded softly and the girl did as asked before watching as Alec typed away and soon enough 'In Too Deep' by Why Don't We had begun to softly play.

The blonde looked up at the raven haired man with slight surprise and Alec only chuckled softly.

"I'm not completely uncultured princess." He smirked.

"You're just full of surprises aren't you Alexander?" Asa asked and the Lightwood only smiled and sent the blonde a wink.

Alec then gently linked one of his hands with Asakhe's and spun her around and he smiled when he heard her laugh.

Asa wrapped her arms around Alec's neck as his went to her waist and the two continued to dance.

The blonde rested her head on Alec's chest and let out a content sigh and smiled happily when Alec rested his chin on her head.

The princess moved her head so that she could make eye contact with Alec and her smile only grew when Alec moved to rest his forehead on hers.

"Thank you." Asa stated gratefully, hoping that Alec understood how grateful she was for him.

"We're on each other's team princess." Alec smiled and Asa chuckled softly.

"We're on each other's team." She smiled.

"I know the past couple of days have been tough on you but I truly mean it when I say I'm here for you if you need me." Alec told the blonde.

"That means more to me then you understand Alec." Asa smiled softly.

The two only then seemed to notice that they were in fact inches away from each other.

They both felt a magnetic force pulling them closer to the other not knowing that the other was feeling the exact same thing.

Both Asakhe and Alec seemed to give in to the temptation as the next thing either of them knew they're were sharing a passionate kiss.

Their lips moved in sync and Asa let her hands travel up the nape of Alec's neck and gently traced the deflect rune on his neck before moving her hand up to his soft onyx locks.

Alec moved his hands to rest on the small of the blonde girls back and he groaned slightly when he felt Asakhe tug gently on his hair.

The two pulled away out of breath and rested their foreheads against each other once more.

"I know I probably should've asked earlier but is this okay?" Alec questioned.

"More than okay." Asakhe assured before placing her lips on Alec's once again.

Alec was quick to lift Asakhe up and the blonde girl wrapped her legs around his waist and her hand since again found home in Alec's hair.

Alec gently bit down on the blondes bottom lip when he pulled away and the girl let out a slight moan in response on driving Alec on more.

The kiss got slightly more heated as the twos tongues began to dance together, neither of them wanted to stop now that they had finally given in but they knew they had to before it went too far.

And stop they did, both of them pulled away from each other and smiled as they kept eye contact with each other, both of their eyes swimming with many emotions.

THE NEXT MORNING ASA SAT ON A SWINGING BENCH BY THE GREENHOUSE ON THE ROOF AND JUST ADMIRED THE FLOWERS AROUND HER.

The girl then heard footsteps and she turned her head only to smile as she saw Alec approaching her.

"Hey." Asa smiled.

"Morning Princess." Alec greeted back and sat down beside Asakhe on the swinging bench.

Asa immediately leant into Alec with her head resting on his shoulder as it was basically a reflex at this point.

"I'm not even gonna ask how you knew I was up here." Asa stated and Alec chuckled softly.

"Call it intuition." Alec chuckled.

"You okay? You seem stressed." Asa noted as she linked her hand in Alec's and placed both of them in his lap.

"One word....Clary." Alec sighed as he ran his free hand through his hair.

"What happened now?" Asa asked.

"Clary's necklace, the purple stone is a portal shard and Valentine spoke to her though it, he offered an exchange her mother for the cup and some other nonsense I couldn't be bothered to care about." Alec explained as the two adjusted themselves so that they were facing each other, their hands still connected.

"I swear her voice is like nails down a chalkboard." Alec groaned.

"How does Archie deal with her? The fireball literally threw a temper tantrum as I locked her necklace away." The raven haired continued his rant.

"Literally every time she speaks I feel like my ear drums are just gonna-" Alec started again but was cut off when he felt a pair of lips on his own.

"That was a really incredible way to tell me to shut up." Alec nodded and the blonde girl giggled softly before pecking his lips again.

"No but really considering how portals work both ways, you were right to lock it away, they can figure out another way to stop Valentine." Asa assured the Lightwood as she gently squeezed his hand.

Alec smiled gratefully at the blonde girl, thankful that despite everything he had her beside him.

"Is that my leather jacket?" Alec asked as he spotted one of his familiar black leather jackets which the blonde was now wearing.

"Yeah and you're not getting it back." Asa deadpanned with a soft smile and Alec only rolled his eyes fondly in response.

"I wasn't gonna ask for it back, it looks good on you." Alec spoke honestly.

"Thanks." Asa blushed.

"Alright, what brought you up here?" Alec asked as he changed the subject.

"Just needed to clear my head before todays madness occurs." Asa admitted seriously.

"Besides, I'm missing my family more than ever." Asa admitted sadly before resting her head on Alec's shoulder once again.

This time Alec squeezed Asa's hand bringing her comfort.

"What are they like?" Alec suddenly questioned making the blonde girl look up him.

"Tell me everything about your family, your baby dragons, your home, I'm all ears." Alec assured before standing up and offering his hand to the blonde and Asakhe smiled as she took it.

With the help of Alec, the blonde stood up and the two walked hand in hand back inside the institute as Asa told Alec whatever came to mind.

"So my dad is quite protective of my brothers and I but more so me sometimes, which I mean I get it, I'm the only daughter out of three sons." Asa started.

"But he was actually the one who taught me archery, he saw my fascination with it one day when I watched him shooting targets when I was like 5." Asa smiled as the memories came back to her.

"There's just something about a bow and arrow that's so..." Asa started as she trailed off slightly.

"Enchanting." Alec finished.

"Yeah." Asa smiled.

"Then my mom, oh she's this badass that was just born to be a leader and even if she wasn't born a royal she still would've found a way to rule a kingdom as their queen." Asa smiled.

"She's so incredibly strong both physically and mentally, she's kind, gorgeous but you undermine her or mess with her family it's game over for you." Asa chuckled.

"Like mother like daughter." Alec smirked.

"Awww, thank you." Asa smiled, completely touched by Alec's compliment.

The two had continued to walk down the halls of the institute looking for the others as Asa talked Alec's ear off about her family whilst Alec just listened with a fond smile.

MEANWHILE MARYSE LIGHTWOOD HAD ARRIVED AND CLARY ALREADY HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING HER WHEN SHE TALKED WITH HER AND ISABELLE IN THE HALLWAY AFTER THE LIGHTWOOD GIRL HAD COME TO COMFORT HER.

"Is your mom always like that?" Clary questioned Isabelle as they stood by the doors of the training room.

"She didn't even hug you." Clary stated surprised.

"Shadowhunters aren't big huggers." Izzy shrugged trying to downplay her hurt.

The two girls proceeded to watch as the Lightwood mother looked around the training room watching as the others trained.

"Maryse." Jace smiled once he finished training, hearing the name of the Lightwood woman had gained the attention of the other shadowhunters.

"It's great to see you." The blonde boy continued as he approached the woman and gave her a hug.

Clary looked towards Izzy who had shifted her gaze to the training room floor.

"How's everyone in Idris?....where's uh, where's Max?" Jace questioned.

"No Max, just mom with her hair on fire." Izzy spoke as she and Clary walked to join the others in the middle of the training room.

Clary scoffed lightly. "I love how shadowhunters share a secret brother, a hidden country and a private portal."

"Our brother isn't a secret but why would we tell anything about him to you?" Arabella sassed the red haired as she rolled her eyes.

The second youngest Lightwood then turned to her mother with open arms.

"Mama." Belly smiled and hugged her mother.

"Oh, my darling girl." Maryse sighed softly as she hugged her youngest daughter.

"Maryse." Emma smiled once her parabatai pulled away from her mother and the blonde girl took her turn to hug her mother figure.

"Emma." Maryse smiled before pulling away and taking a good look at the blonde girl which she practically raised for most of her life.

"You're glowing and not just cause you're sweating." Maryse smiled and the Wayland girl giggled softly before thanking the Lightwood woman.

"Oh my goodness." Maryse gasped lightly as she spotted Madelaine and Archie.

"Madelaine Lewis and Archie Fairchild, my how you both have grown." Maryse smiled fondly.

"Maryse!" the two cheered before approaching the Lightwood woman's open arms and wrapping her in a little group hug.

The others except for Arabella and Emma watched in shock, not knowing that the two knew the Lightwood woman.

After a bit the three pulled away and Maryse sent a soft smile and approving nod to the two Garroway sisters which the two sisters smiled at the raven haired woman.

"Where's your brother?" Maryse questioned, wondering where her eldest son and child was.

Everyone shrugged.

"I haven't seen him since earlier." Jace spoke.

Just then the group all heard laughter getting closer and closer to them and turned in the direction it was coming from only to spot Alec and Asakhe laughing away still hand in hand.

"Alec, I couldn't make this up even if I tried." Asa giggled.

"You found him sleeping on the chandelier?" Alec questioned trying not burst out laughing once again.

"Yes, I have a photo I'll show you later." Asa giggled.

The two then noticed everyone in the training room including the raven haired woman.

"Mother." Alec stated in surprise as he let go of the blondes hand and approached the woman and gave her a hug which she returned.

"I wasn't expecting you so soon." Alec stated as he pulled away.

"Oh you should be ready for me weather you expect or not but I don't blame you." Maryse told her son before turning to the blonde princess.

"She can be quite distracting." Maryse started with a cold look on her face but everyone watched in shock as the cold look quickly turned into a genuine smile as the woman continued.

"But in the best way possible." The Lightwood woman finished.

"Mary!" Asa cheered before rushing to hug the Lightwood woman.

"Oh." Maryse chuckled as the wind was practically knocked out of her.

Everyone watched as the two shared a long hug before pulling away and Maryse cupped the blonde girls face in her hands.

"Oh sweetheart." Maryse chuckled as she saw the tears in the blonde girls eyes and she wiped gently with the pad of her thumbs under her eyes before her tears could fall.

"I was worried when I heard and then yesterday with the memory demon, how are you holding up? Everything alright?" Maryse cooed.

"I'm okay truly, besides you know I've been through a lot worse." Asa told the woman as she placed her hand over the Lightwood woman's wrists.

"Unfortunately I do know but you've always been my strong girl, I'm so proud of you." Maryse told her before placing a kiss to her forehead and bringing Asa into her arms once again.

Words could never begin to express how grateful Asa was to have Maryse in her life, the Lightwood woman being her godmother as she is her mothers best friend, her parabatai and now that she had left her mother and the rest of her family behind having Maryse here make everything slightly better.

Maryse stroked her fingers through Asakhe's blonde locks just reacquainting herself with the younger girls presence, glad that she was here and as safe as she could possibly be.

"My beautiful girl, you just continue to shine, you look beautiful." Maryse whispered to Asakhe and the blonde smiled into her shoulder.

"Thank you." Asa whispered back before the two pulled away and Asa made her way back to stand beside Alec.

"Alright." Maryse cleared her throat as she composed herself.

"Onto the bigger problem at the moment." She announced bringing the seriousness back into the room.

"The seelies have stopped communicating with the clave and they won't explain why." Maryse began.

"My guess is that they're still upset that we asked them to send out scouts to look for Valentine but nobody in their realm will talk." She finished.

Izzy stepped forward slightly. "I have seelie friends, I can talk to them." She offered.

Maryse only sent her daughter a cold look.

"Yes, I know about your friends." She scolded making her daughter look down to the floor once more.

"Um, Mary if it's any consolation I can try talking with them, I've been meaning to do my checkups on the downworlders either way." Asa interrupted, taking the heat off of Izzy for the time being.

Maryse eyes softened as she turned to face Asakhe.

The Lightwood woman gently shook her head.

"You shouldn't have to clean up the others mistakes Asa, I would rather have you focus on healing, the angels know your parents would want the same." Maryse told the blonde.

The princess nodded her head in understanding, she was already under pressure trying to fix everything that had gone wrong the last few days as the downworld queen.

"Fair enough, I have things I need to sort out anyways, the past few days have been hell." Asa told the Lightwood woman honestly.

"May I please be excused?" Asa asked Maryse.

"Of course sweetheart." Maryse answered, sympathy lacing her tone.

Asa smiled at her godmother before moving and giving Alec who was beside her a hug, which the Lightwood returned.

"I'm going for a walk before taking care of anything." Asa whispered and Alec nodded in understanding.

"Be safe." He told her and the blonde smiled nodding back.

The blonde princess proceeded to hug her parabatai, red haired brother and then Belly and Emma before giving Maryse one last hug and making her way out the training room.

THE PRINCESS FOUND HERSELF IN THE SEELIE REALM EITHER WAY NEEDING TO SPEAK WITH HER GRANDAUNT GINA WHO WAS ALSO HER THERAPIST.

"Asa." The blonde princess heard her name being called and she turned around and felt a smile Grace her face when she saw her uncle Meliorn standing there.

"Uncle Meli!" Asa exclaimed happily before running and hugging the male seelie tightly.

"It's so good to see you princess." Meliorn smiled softly as he hugged his niece tightly.

"I'm glad to see you too uncle Mel." Asa sighed as she hugged the seelie a bit tighter.

"Do you know if aunt Gina is in today? I have some things I need to get off my chest." Asa asked her uncle as she explained her reasoning for being in the seelie realm.

"Oh, I'm sorry sweetheart, she's not in today she's at her hair salon, you just missed her." Meliorn told his niece gently.

"Dang it." Asa sulked.

"You can talk to me, if it helps." Meliorn assured.

"Do you have time?" Asa asked after a few beats of silence knowing that she still had a while before the others were to arrive.

"I'll even role play as a therapist for you in Gina's office." Meliorn nodded with a slight smirk on his face and he smiled when Asa let out a soft laugh.

With a nod from the princess the two made their way inside Gina's office where Asa immediately flopped down onto the pull out chair.

Meliorn chuckled at his niece's antics.

Meliorn made his way around Gina's table and grabbed some non prescription glasses out of one of the drawers and placed them on before grabbing a notebook and pen.

"Alright sweetheart, what's on your mind and how does it make you feel?" Meliorn asked as he did his best impression of the seelie therapist.

Asa giggled at her uncles antics but sighed and started pouring out everything she still had bottled up inside her.

AFTER RECEIVING A TEXT MESSAGE FROM ALEC ASA GAVE HER UNCLE A PARTING HUG AND MADE HER WAY OUT OF THE SEELIE REALM BEFORE ANYONE OF THE OTHERS COULD SEE HER THERE.

The princess now found herself outside the Fray/Fairchild loft only to spot a very unlikely trio consisting of Simon, Clary and Alec already waiting for her.

"Simon." Asa smiled as she spotted the mundane.

"Hey Asa." The brunette boy smiled back and he wrapped his arms around the older girl when she gave him a hug.

"Oh my guillotine!" Asa exclaimed as she pulled away from Simon in shock.

"Are you alright? You're freezing." Asa asked in concern.

"I'm fine, don't stress." Simon shrugged the princess's concern off.

"Alright, let me know if you need anything." Asa told Simon, still not fully convinced he was alright.

Simon nodded as he stayed the girl who had quickly become like a second sisters embrace for a bit longer.

The two pulled away and Asa made her way to stand beside Alec.

"Hey." Asa smiled.

"Hey princess." Alec smiled before cupping her face and kissing her forehead.

Asa rested her head on Alec's chest for a few moments as she wrapped her arms around him needing one of his comforting hugs right now.

Alec just ran his hands through the princess's blonde locks and he chuckled softly when Asa only seemed to snuggle deeper into his chest.

"Yo, Asa, what are these tags?" SIMON QUESTIONED AS THE GROUP OF FOUR NOW STOOD ON THE ROOF OF THE FRAY APARTMENT AND TOOK IN ALL THE RUNES ON THE WALLS.

"Um, they're runes Si but....when did you get the sight?" Asa questioned carefully.

"They should be invisible to most mundanes." Alec added.

"I don't know but whoever drew these should take some lessons from Clary. Their, uh, work is pretty sloppy." Simon voiced.

"Who would wanna willingly spend time with Clary other than Simon?" Asa whisper asked Alec who chuckled quietly as a smirk graced his face.

"In all honesty, they kept Clary hidden for eighteen years, the runes have done their job." Asa voiced.

"This is from when Simon and I were engaged to be married." Clary spoke fondly.

"Nope, not listening." Asa deadpanned and Alec let out a soft laugh and he had to bite his lip in order to keep in his laughter.

As the princess ignored the story that was being told she couldn't help but look around the perimeter slightly as she couldn't shake the feeling off that something's gonna happen.

"Alright, Clarissa you are moving your mouth a lot like a rat, yapa, yapa, yapa, shut it please, thank you!" Asakhe exclaimed finally at her wits end.

The red haired girl only glared at the blonde after she got over her initial shock, the princess couldn't be bothered with Clary's glare when she looked like angry, wet chihuahua.

"Can we please wrap this up, I have a bad feeling about being here right now." Asa explained.

Clary rolled her eyes at the blonde girl before moving and trying to open the door but came to the realisation that it was locked.

"There's only one flaw in your plan here Simon." Clary told her best friend when she turned back to smile at him.

"Here let me try." The brunette boy spoke before stepping forward and pulling on the door handle only for the door to come completely off its hinges.

Alec and Asa shared a look, their eyebrows furrowing, they both could tell something was up with Simon but they couldn't pin point it at that moment.

The gears continued to work inside the blonde's head and she covered her mouth in shock when she had finally connected the dots together, realising what was happening to Simon.

Alec noticed the princess's reaction and he started to worry about her but decided to ask her about it later as the group made their way inside the loft.

The group of four found themselves in Clary's old room which was now burned to the point that if one thing were to even fall let alone be touched it would instantly be ash.

After finding out that the group were here to look for a box the princess immediately began tap dancing around Clary's old room in her heels.

"What is she doing?" Clary and Simon wondered in sync even though Simon was in compelled awe at how one could possibly be tap dancing in heels.

"Shhhh." Alec shushed the pair of best friends having figured out what the princess was trying to do.

Suddenly Asa stomped on a certain floorboard and the other three in the room watched as the piece of wood flew up into the air before landing in Asa's hands.

"Impressive princess." Alec smirked as he moved to beside the blonde princess before checking underneath the floorboard and pulling out the box that they had come looking for.

The princess and archer shared a high five with triumphant smirks before handing the box over to the smiling red haired girl.

The experienced shadowhunters soon found their attention being turned to a noise from outside.

"Stay here." Alec warned the red haired and mundane boy.

"Alec." Asa had begun to protest the second she saw Alec's quiver with his bows inside appear.

"You'll be fine princess besides theirs nobody else more capable of protecting these two." Alec assured.

Asa sighed but nodded her head anyways in defeat knowing that Alec was just as stubborn as her.

"Be careful alright." Asa told the archer.

"Always." Alec smiled softly before making his way out leaving the the loft the way they had all came.

"Shit." Asa sighed before she readied her whip, the whip roaring as it came to life ready to be used.

Asakhe felt her tribird eyes begin to glow and she felt her power surging through her.

"Try not to do anything stupid." Asa warned Clary and Simon as she heard footsteps entering the loft and she could tell that they were wolves just from their scent.

The princess quickly sprung into action and wrapped her whip around the first werewolf the milli second they had charged at her.

The princess was sending wolves flying left, right and centre around the red haired girls burned room and she was holding in for the mean time but she could only hope Alec was alright.

MEANWHILE OUTSIDE Alec looked around his bow at the ready in his hand with an arrow already loaded and ready to be fired.

The Raven haired male soon heard a growling sound that had caught his attention to the nearby bushes and he fired his arrow but had just missed the wolf that was quick to run towards the main road.

As he followed the wolf with his eye line he heard the familiar whining voice of Clary shouting at somebody.

The Lightwood was quick to follow the sound and surely enough once he had a view of what was happening on the street below him he saw Clary and Simon being pushed I to a vehicle but what made his heart drop was when he spotted the familiar blonde princess he had grown to care being carried by two of the men, unconscious before being thrown into the trunk of the car.

As the watched the vehicle drive off his adrenaline wore off slightly not completely but enough for him to begin feeling the pain of the blonde princess, he can only imagine how worried Madelaine was for her parabatai.

"Where is she?" JACE DEMANDED AS HE ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE GROUP BARGED INTO THE BURNED ROOM.

"Where's Clary?" The blonde male questioned.

Madelaine shook her head, Clary being the last thought from her mind when all she could feel was her best friends pain.

"Where's Asakhe?" The Lewis questioned.

"She's gone." Alec answered the Lewis girl shaking his head as he tugged at his onyx locks.

He made a promise to himself and to the Lewis girl that he would protect the princess and he couldn't help but feel like he let the Lewis girl down but most importantly the princess in question.

"Never mind Asakhe, she'll be fine, where's Clary?" Jace demanded once again.

"Oh hell no!" Madelaine, Archie, Emma and Bella exclaimed towards the blonde Wayland boy whilst the Garroway sisters only looked at him in shock and slight disgust.

"Jace just because you're obsessed with the enemy's daughter does not mean you have any right to push Asakhe aside like she's garbage!" Emma scolded her elder brother.

"Asakhe means the world to us and if you're going to follow Clary around like a lost puppy be our guests, you've already hurt us all enough the last few days but don't expect forgiveness so easily when you realise that Clary isn't worth it." Belly spoke harshly.

MEANWHILE MADELAINE AND ARCHIE APPROACHED ALEC CAREFULLY AS THEY COULD TELL HE WAS DISTRAUGHT.

"Alec, what happened?" Maddy asked softly as she placed a comforting hand on the Lightwood males shoulder.

"The three of them were taken, Simon, Asa and Clary as I was securing the fire escape, Simon and Clary were arrested whilst Asa was thrown into the back of a trunk unconscious." Alec explained once he had managed to compose himself.

"They had to have been downworlders, they had no runes." Alec explained to the two.

"No mundane is capable of even laying a hand on Asa much less fighting her but still that girl can handle between 12 and 15 men on her own, they must have ambushed her." Archie concluded.

"It was an unmarked car, I don't know where they were heading." Alec added softly as he let out a frustrated sigh.

"Hey, you did your best, thank you Alec." Maddy spoke gratefully, the Lewis girl didn't blame Alec for any of this at all, she knows her parabatai will still be target for a long time coming.

"Truly Alec, you've done a lot for us but especially Asakhe we can't thank you enough." Archie agreed as he and Maddy continued to comfort him.

Alec placed his hand over Madelaine's and he smiled lightly as his youngest sisters came over to comfort him as well.

MEANWHILE WITH THE ROYAL FAMILY IN FRANCE, MARY BEGAN TO FEEL A SHARP PAIN IN HER ABDOMEN AND SHE FELL TO THE GROUND AS SHE LET OUT A CRY OF PAIN.

"Mom!" Nate exclaimed as he was quickly up on his feet and beside his mother as his father held her in his arms.

"Mom!" Noah and Louis exclaimed as they joined their elder brother and father, both equally as worried about their mother.

"Mary, sweetheart, what's happening?" Francis asked his wife as he stroked his arm up and down the brunette womens hoping to give her comfort,

"Asa." Mary managed to groan out before letting out another yell of pain making her clutch onto her husband.

Mary felt like she was having labour contractions but it felt a thousand times worse now then when Mary was actually in labour with her only daughter.

You see the witches and angels had given Mary and Asakhe an angelic bond of their own but the pain was more extreme than one could ever imagine.

Especially considering how Asa has two bonds of her own namely the parabatai bond and the soulmate bond, Mary's pain is both those bonds combined.

The mother has felt all daughters emotions from the last few days from her sadness, happiness and everything in between only making her more worried about what she was going through in New York.

"What's happening to our daughter Francis?" Mary cried as she snuggled even closer in her husbands comfort.

The father and king along with his sons could only wonder the same thing.

⚠️WARNING MENTIONS OF TORTURE⚠️

MEANWHILE AT THE OLD CHINESE RESTAURANT BETTER KNOWN AS THE JADE WOLF, THE PRINCESS WAS LOCKED AWAY IN ANOTHER ROOM AND HAD FINALLY STARTED TO WAKE UP.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the downworld queen and the princess of France and Scotland." Alaric taunted as the princess groaned from the pain she was feeling.

"Alaric." The princess had managed to croak out and the blonde couldn't help but wonder why most people men names Alaric turned out to be dicks.

"How you feeling?" Alaric tauntingly asked.

"Really?" Asa asked as she raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow at the werewolf in front of her.

"Well I thought I would at least try to make some small talk with you before we get to torturing you." Alaric smiled sickeningly.

"News flash Alaric, you and small talk are not in the same WhatsApp group but you and being dick are a 100 percent match." Asa smirked lightly.

She loved pushing his buttons and it seemed to be working.

Asa gasped lightly as a harsh slap landed on her cheek with so much force that her head turned in the other direction.

The princess scoffed. "Well Damn, that was harsh." She scolded.

"It's about to get harsher." Alaric promised before he stood up and left the room leaving the other werewolves in the room with the princess.

The blonde girl felt herself being hooked up to a machine and she quickly realised that she was strapped to an electric shock chair.

She felt fear course through her but she wouldn't let it show and give the wolves in front of her the satisfaction.

"Tell us where the mortal cup is princess and we'll let you go." One of the wolves taunted.

"Why would I know where it is?" Asakhe asked.

"Do I look like a sassy, stupid, can't follow rules, fiery red haired girl, who's the daughter of everyone's sworn enemy?" The blonde asked.

The princess groaned lightly when a harsh punch was landed to her face.

"Watch the face, that's money maker." Asa angrily scolded the werewolves in front of her.

The girl clenched her teeth together when she felt a slash on her exposed abdomen, she could only hope that the pain wasn't too extreme for Maddy and Alec.

⚠️WARNING MENTIONS OF TORTURE⚠️

THE PAIR OF PARABATAI HAD JUST FINISHED ANOTHER ARGUMENT AND DISCOVERED THAT CLARY, ASAKHE AND SIMON WHERE AT THE JADE WOLF WHEN BOTH MADELIANE AND ALEC HISSED IN PAIN.

Both shadowhunters grabbed their respective rune which was bonding them to the blonde princess as the pain only seemed to intensify.

The two groaned as they fell to the ground leaning on each other for some slight comfort.

Meanwhile the Garroway sisters rushed to the Lewis girls side whilst Emma and Arabella rushed to their brothers.

"We need to hurry! Asa can't hold on much longer." Archie voiced as Maddy got up with the help of the pair of sisters whilst Alec was helped up by his own sisters.

Suddenly Alec and Maddy both felt like a thousand bolts of electricity were flowing through them.

"By the angel!" The two shadowhunters swore as they hung on tightly to the respective girls holding them up.

Just then a phone began to ring and fighting through the pain Alec had managed to grab the phone just in time for his parabatai to yank the bag from Archie's grasp.

Alec stuck his tongue out at his blonde parabatai before answering the phone whilst he still could as the pain had subsided for the time being.

"Hello." Maddy spoke once Alec put the phone on speaker.

"Oh Maddy, thank goodness it's you." Simon relieved voice came through.

"Hey little bro, just hang in there for me alright, we know where you are and we're on our way." Maddy assured her little brother.

"Okay that's good also never thought I would ask this but where's Alec?" Simon asked making everyone look at each other confused.

"I'm here Simon." Alec spoke up after a few beats of silence.

"Okay good, I don't how you're going to take this but you and Maddy need to hear this the most, it's about Asa." Simon spoke.

"What's wrong? Where is she? How is she?" Maddy and Alec threw questions at Simon.

Arabella grabbed onto Archie's hand whilst Emma held hands with the Garroway sisters as they listened intently to what was going on with their sister.

"Asa's in another room, they kept her separate from Clary and I and to answer how she's doing not good at all." Simon answered just as a strong high pitched scream was heard along with the sound of glass breaking.

"That's the fifth time in the last ten minutes that they've electrocuted her, I don't know how much longer she can take." Simon spoke, the worry for his second sister obvious.

"We're on the way Simon, in the meantime, create a distraction, start a fire or something." Archie explained before grabbing the phone and hanging up.

"A fire really?" Alec asked the Fairchild boy.

"Do you want to trigger your sisters asthma again?" The Lightwood asked.

"First of all, It was the first thing that came to mind and secondly how much time have you two been spending together?" Archie questioned.

"Enough to know she found one of her baby dragons sleeping on the chandelier." Alec deadpanned with a shrug before rushing off in the direction of the old Chinese restaurant.

The others were quick to follow behind the eldest Lightwood, hoping they could arrive in time.

MEANWHILE THE OTHERS HAD FINALLY ARRIVED AT THE JADE WOLF AND WHILST IZZY, MADDY AND JACE FOCUSED ON SIMON AND CLARY, THE OTHERS ESPECIALLY ALEC FOCUSED ON FINDING THE BLONDE PRINCESS.

Alec found shards of broken glass and realised that they made a trail which he followed and he was relieved when it lead him to the room that the princess was being kept in.

Although Alec's relief didn't last long when he spotted the blonde princess unconscious and surrounded by glass.

Carefully Alec made his way around the glass and towards the princess and he lifted her gently into his arms as he knelt on the ground before taking out his stele and activating her healing rune.

Alec then quickly yet gently assessed the blonde princess and he felt the tears glistening in his eyes as he saw all the cuts and bruises that were surrounded by dried blood.

He even noticed the blood dripping from her head and down the side of her face and into the front pieces that were framing her face.

The eldest Lightwood watched as the blonde began to stir in his arms and he felt a moment of relief as their eyes connected.

"Lex?" Asa croaked out.

"Hey princess, it's me, I'm here, I'm here my blonde beauty." Alec assured.

"It hurts." Asa croaked, her voice as she finally let the tears fall, she felt safe enough to do that with Alec.

"I know, I know, I'm so sorry." Alec spoke, his own tears beginning to fall and he felt himself leaning into the blonde girls touch when she reached her hand up to caress his cheek.

"Don't blame yourself, you had no idea this would happen." Asa assured the archer.

"It's not the first time either." Asa told the Lightwood.

The princess groaned as the pain only seemed to worsen.

The blonde snuggled into Alec and managed with the last bit of her strength to wrap her arms his neck when Alec had stood up.

"Thank you for taking care of me." Asa breathed as she with the last of her energy placed a kiss to Alec's neck before snuggling into the crook of it and passing out.

The eldest Lightwood didn't waste anymore time in getting the princess out of there and to the people who cared for her.

Alec cradled the princess as close as he possible could and called out to the girls parabatai when he spotted her.

"Madelaine!" Alec yelled gaining the attention of the Lewis girl, Belly, Emma, the Garroway sisters and Archie.

The six all came rushing over to Alec when they saw he had the blonde princess in his arms.

"Did you activate her iratze?" Maddy asked and Alec nodded.

"It was the first thing I did but the blood is still a lot she just recently passed out again after being conscious for a few minutes." Alec explained.

"We need to get her to Magnus and Lizzie." Archie sighed softly, knowing the girls grandparents would want to be the ones to help her heal.

"One step ahead of you." Alec spoke as he shared a look with the Lewis girl who's eyes brightened up with realisation at what Alec was referring to.

Quickly whilst the others watched Madelaine grabbed the 4k unheated Burmese Ruby necklace around her parabatai's neck and tapped the jewel.

The seven watched as the necklace glowed a sparkly purple before returning to its natural Ruby red colour.

"What happened?" Bella questioned.

"Last night before we took Asa back to the institute Magnus spelled the necklace so now whenever Asa is danger you can tap the necklace and Magnus and Lizzie start preparing themselves to help their granddaughter." Alec quickly explained.

"Alec you go so long, we'll meet you guys there." Josie told the eldest Lightwood worried for the blonde girl in his arms.

Alec nodded before leaving and making his way to the Bane's apartment quickly yet efficiently being careful of the blonde in his arms.

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE JADE WOLF THE OTHERS HAD FOUND THEMSELVES SURROUNDED BY WEREWOLVES.

"We're surrounded." Jace spoke, stating the obvious.

"Well no fucking shit!" Josie, Chrissy, Maddy, Bella, Archie and Emma exclaimed in sync.

"Everyone stay together." Izzy added on.

Simon shook his head scoffing.

"Believe me, I'm not going anywhere." He spoke.

Everyone watched as the door to the Chinese restaurant flung open and out walked a massive black wolf drawing the groups attention to it.

"Everyone get back, that's their alpha leader." Madelaine warned the group.

Faster than the speed of lightening it seemed, the black wolf began to charge at the group.

Before anything could happen everyone watched as two other wolfs appeared seemingly out of nowhere and began to fight the other.

"They're challenging the alpha." Chrissy announced.

"The way Asa would be eating this shit up." Emma voiced making Maddy chuckle softly.

"The wolves are fighting." Belly spoke up as she did a pretty good impression of the blonde princess.

"Somebody please tell me, they're recoding this!" Archie exclaimed as he too took his turn and impersonated the blonde princess.

"Fight, fight, fight!" Maddy exclaimed as she impersonated her parabatai whilst pumping her fist in the air.

After moments of growling and teeth snapping, it went quiet.

"The alpha's dead." Josie announced.

Next thing everyone knew the two wolves who had challenged the alpha had changed back only to reveal Luke and Isiah Greymark.

Josie and Christina gasped in shock before running towards the two males.

"Dad, uncle Luke!" The two girls exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh, Luke, Isiah!" Clary shouted in disbelief as another raven haired woman approached the two males which the Garroway sisters where now kneeling beside.

Everyone watched as the rest of the wolves began howling and changing back into their human forms.

"What's happening?" Clary asked making everyone except Jace, Simon and Izzy roll their eyes at her.

"When a werewolf or werewolves in this case kills the alpha, he/they become the new alpha or alphas." Faith began to explain to the clueless red haired who she was never really been fond of.

"Luke and Isiah are the leaders of the pack now." The Garroway woman finished.

The Fairchild girl stepped forward wanting to approach the two men only to be stopped by the Garroway woman.

"Step away from them Clarissa." Faith warned.

"Faith please!" The red haired girl pleaded with the woman.

"No is no, Clarissa." Faith yelled at the girl before turning to Maddy and Archie.

"Where's Asakhe, I heard she was here." Faith asked the two.

"Alec's already left and taken her to Magnus and Lizzie." Maddy told her and Faith nodded.

"Okay, that's good, they need to take care of her first before we ask them to do anything else." Faith spoke sympathetically.

With that said the Garroway woman had walked back to her husband and brother in law and started to help them in anyway she could whilst also trying to calm her daughters.

The raven haired woman only sighed softly hoping that her niece was okay as well.
