Lilia Monroe was just your average girl. Except she wasn't. Lilia's mother was the Goddess of Love.
Lilia was bounced around foster homes from birth to the age of five before she got to camp half blood. And for a few years her life was great. She found a home of people like her and got herself two best friends.
Celia Jones a sweet child of Apollo with honey brown curls and eyes to match.
a couple years later Annabeth Chase arrived at camp. Annabeth was who you'd imagine when you pictured a typical California beach girl, her curly hair was as light as blonde could be, falling to her waist, and her skin was tan.
I think what initially drew Lilia to Annabeth was the similarities between the two.
Lilia had golden curls that fell a to her elbows and her tan skin was freckle covered. A lot of people mistaked her for a child of Apollo on first glance as she radiated sunlight.
As much as the two loved to joke about being siblings, their eyes were what told them apart. Annabeth's were a piercing grey, as though a storm stirred behind them. Whereas Lilia's were bluer than the sky, a permanent look of love swirling around.
And with that they became a trio of curly best friends. The three girls remained inseparable between the ages of seven and eleven, but that all changed when Lilia Monroe disappeared.
They searched the woods for days after she vanished but after no signs of her they gave up and she was presumed dead. Annabeth and Celia begged Chiron for answers but there was no use, not even the Gods could sense her.
The Camp changed after she disappeared, the days got longer and the sun seemed dimmer. Her friends lost a bit of love when they lost her.
But now things are changing again.
Lilia Monroe has returned to camp.

"Where have you been child?" muttered a concerned voice. Her sight was blurry but she could see faint outlines of people surrounding her, whispering frantically.
"It's Lilia Monroe!"
"She's been missing for years."
"She fell from the sky!"
What was happening? Where am I?
Where have I been?
Her eyes rolled back and darkness surrounded her once more.

I know this may get confusing with appearances between Lilia and Annabeth but my features are awfully similar to Annabeth and I need to fufill my crazy obsession with Percy and me falling in love somehow.
