As soon as she entered the room, Omer felt how tense Defne was by the rhythm of her footsteps.
She left her documents on the meeting table and tried her best to regain composure, biding her time. It was not an easy task as everyone's eyes were riveted on her. Wherever she turned to for courage, she would face a new kind of pressure : a doubtful Pamir Bey assessing her worth as a logistics manager; Seda Hanim looking at her expectantly, and the one person that she didn't want to disappoint; Sinan looking at her with a compassion that was even more unsettling that the excitement for drama on Koray's face... How come Koray was even here by the way?! Defne sighed and reached out for a water bottle.
Omer, who hadn't take his eyes off her since her arrival, despite the fact that she was carefully avoiding to meet his gaze, understood right away that she was spinning because of the whole situation.
Here he was again: risking her job, her new life, because having her as the logistics manager of both Passionis and StilVagon was the perfect excuse to be close to her again. He was probably the one that was pressuring her the most, even if unwillingly.Way to go for someone who was telling himself only a couple of days earlier that he didn't want to disturb her peace ever again...
He could leave the room right now, but what would that change really? It would only delay the inevitable. Passionis needed a logistical solution ASAP, and he needed to have a real talk with Defne, sooner than later. Anyway, the redhead didn't and never had needed an easy way out or anybody to feel sorry for her. She was a fiery woman. What she needed was a challenge to forget the stress. And he was ready to give her one.
He stood up :
- "Ok. This won't work. Let's find another logistics manager," he said, not looking at her so she couldn't call his bluff.
- Omer, wait, Sinan objected.
- No need to wait. This is a waste of time. This won't work.
- I think you're mistaken, Omer Bey. Defne finally said coldly.
"Here we go" Omer smiled to himself, sitting back, and noticing silently that it was the first time she'd even look in his direction since they met in the storage room.
She started her presentation, detailing how she brilliantly found an innovative way to deal with 2 competing chains of logistics in the same facility. He was so proud of her. He listened everybody congratulate her, but didn't join in the well deserved praise. He never doubted her abilities, after all. And he wasn't sure how she would take it anyway. She could keep on ignoring him as long as she needed to. Better to leave now and let her enjoy her success. He feigned an urgent phone call to escape the room.
Then we have this marvel of a scene at 12:50 here. The angst, the sexual tension. Barış and Elçin delivered!

- It's over Omer. You left me. You called me a liar. You said that you couldn't trust me anymore. Yes, I lied to you for a whole year. I tried to leave you but I couldn't, and I came back to you again and again. But you, you just left.

- Defne nothing! It's over! What else do you want from me? It's over. It's over. It's over. It's over! It's over for me. Leave me alone !
Omer watched as the love of his life stormed out on the company parking lot, in high heels and a long black dress, a captivating vision, a walking flame, in between darkness and light.
She'd rejected him, again and again. She'd left him speechless, but for the first time since he was back, doubt begun creeping in his mind. Was it really over?
Of course, he understood the truth behind her words. What rights did he have over her. He felt ashamed of his earlier display of possessiveness, when he requested to know where, and with whom, she was going out tonight. She had all the reasons to be angry at him and once again he had acted inconsiderately.
But... was it over?
It couldn't be over... Could it? Was he too late?
Omer watched Defne walk away from him. It wasn't over, he couldn't lose her again. He'd go mad. It wasn't over, was it?
Should he give up? For her sake? Would she be better off without him? Would her life truly be better ? Even if it meant slowly dying every day he spent away from her? He'd done it for a year, could he do it again?
Confusion-and something primitive that resembled survival instinct-triggered an alarm in his brain, making him slightly dizzy. Was it all over?
Defne had stopped to get in the car waiting for her. Pamir's car. Where her cousin had boasted a few minutes earlier about his expectations of spending a night in good company.
That's when Omer lost it. Instinct took over as he hopped behind the wheel of his own car to shadow his oblivious cousin's Porsche through traffic. He would not let her go.
It could never be over.
