All of the Hashira sat patiently, chatting and catching up. Tengen was discussing his wives with Mitsuri - Obanai just glared, Rengoku and Gyomei were discussing nature and Shinobu was poking fun at Tomioka. Things were as they should have been, except two individuals were missing.
"The master has arrived!" A Kakushi announced, bowing as he opened the sliding door for Master Ubuyashiki, who entered out onto the engawa with a smile that met his eyes, his kimono dragging on the floor behind him
Instantly the chatter of the group fell silent, and all eyes were on him, wide and attentive,
"Hey. Where are the weird kids?" Tengen leant over to Obanai, whispering with a chuckle, and Obanai snickered in response, then leaping onto a tree branch,
"Hello, my children" Kagaya waved, looking around for you, yet he couldn't see you in front of him, you weren't in your usual spot either, "It appears we are still missing two Hashira, let us wait for them before the meeting begins" he then sits down on some cushions the Kakushi laid down for him,
"Master you are so considerate!" Gyomei cried, bowing,
"Yes! Let us hope Sanemi arrives soon. Do we have a guest today master?" Rengoku loudly asked, his large smile lighting up his aura,
Just as Kagaya was about to reply two sets of footsteps could be heard from the entrance of the estate, and joyful chatter followed,
Around the corner came two blobs of white hair, both different shades and glowing in the sunlight. The two of you had large smiles on your faces, which made Kagaya feel an unwelcome sting in his heart.
"What is this feeling? I thought Y/N took all the pain away?"
Mitsuri clasped her hands together, running over to the two of you, "Awh Sanemi, is this your new girlfriend? You are so cute!" She exclaimed, interrogating him as she grasped your small hand,
"Who would want to date that?" Sanemi snapped, moving away from you, but you just laughed in response giving him a harsh slap.
"Sanemi is right, she isn't much to look at" came a spiteful voice, "Besides if she isn't a Hashira she should leave" Obanai spat from his tree branch, staring down at Mitsuri and pulling out his sword, aiming towards Y/N
"I'd appreciate it if you could address me directly, mister snake" you sneered, smiling up at him, You looked unbothered but your aura was something else,
"Sorry we are late master, we were just catching up" Sanemi bowed, a cautious smile on his face as he harshly dragged you along and away from Mitsuri,
You wouldn't meet kagaya's eyes, "Yes, sorry Master Ubuyashiki" you mumbled
"Speak up! You are in the presence of the master! Have some respect" Obanai's voice commanded, making a hue of pink cover your cheeks in embarrassment
"Who does this guy think he is?" You thought to yourself, rolling your eyes
"It is alright my children, I understand it has been a while" Kagaya replied in a displeased manner, yet his soothing voice calmed you, "Let's get the meeting started shall we?"
You frowned, Kagaya wasn't one to usually show his true emotions in front of the Hashira, something must be wrong,
"How lovely it is to see you again mis-" A loud and boisterous voice began to say before you slammed his big head into the ground, his mice scurried across from underneath the engawa to their master, trying to pull you off him,
A smile graced your lips, but it didn't meet your eyes, "Be quiet, the master is talking" you whispered harshly, holding his head in place until he nodded. Gasps could be heard from behind you yet you just looked forward,
"It is nice to see you all again. However, I have someone I want to introduce you to. But I will save that for later on." He informs You can feel his eyes on you, and you look up, meeting his Violet gaze. His eyes held confusion but you just bit your lip, looking away quickly, "Are there any new reports on Kibitsuji?" He asked, a saddened tone in his voice, gesturing his hands to everyone, encouraging them to speak up,
"Yes, I have some information master. However, before I begin I must say you look to be in good health today!" Gyomei remarked, the rest of the Hashira nodding,
"Yes! You look most flamboyant today master!"
"Thank you all, as you all heard the last time we met, my wife was on her way home. She got here late last night and her presence alone makes me feel light and well" He sighed, and you could feel his eyes on you again, "What have you learnt, Gyomei?"
"In the south, Kibitsuji has been very active. He has been creating more deformed demons who have more of his blood. Me and the wind Hashira have been helping the lower-rank demon slayers there. However, the situation is even growing out of our control" He put his hands together as tears flew down his eyes, "So many lives have already been lost, master"
Gyomei was one rank below you just as you left for Europe, and so were Sanemi and Kanae. You were so proud of how far they had all come. However, only Sanemi and Kanae knew who you really were
Before you left for Europe you had crossed paths with Gyomei during a battle, which was when he was one rank below being a Hashira, and so were Sanemi and Kanae. Gyomei did not know who you were, and before he could talk with you, you had already left the battle. Just as you were leaving they were being appointed, you were so proud of how far they had all come.
"Hm, maybe I will send more of you there to investigate. We all already know the activities of the upper moon demons are persistent these days, so we must train harder and defeat them. Stay strong my children" Kagaya hummed, turning to leave as he called a Kakushi to assist him, as if he was in a rush
"Ah master, one moment, please! So what about the pretty lady that has joined us today!?" A loud, excited voice asked, "Might I say miss, your Haori is very similar to the masters!"
"Ah, you must be Kyojuro Rengoku!" You perked up, a wide grin spreading across your face "Awh look at you all grown up, you look just like your father" You tried to hold it back but you squealed, looking up at him, pinching his cheeks and patting his head
Kagaya cleared his throat, sending you back to reality, "Excuse my informality master, my apologies"
"Don't apologise, my dear, come stand beside me and introduce yourself please" He smiled, coming to meet you at the edge of the engawa, his hand was already awaiting to grab your own, making the other Hashiras eyes fill with confusion,
You grasped his thin hand, and he pulled you up with strength he usually didn't have, which confused the others even more,
Just as your hands connected you began to cough again, and you let go, collapsing slightly, leaning on your side as you tried to catch your breath,
"Y/N!" Kagaya rushed to catch your head before it hit the ground, "My love are you alright?"
You continued to cough as a metallic taste crawled up your throat again, but you swallowed it down, trying to stand again,
"I am so sorry everyone" you bowed, looking up to be met with shocked faces
"You're Y/N?" Obanai snickered, "You make the funniest jokes Master"
"Obanai shut up!" Mitsuri poked him,
"Hello everyone! Please excuse that! Wow! I am so proud of you all" You put a hand to your heart, in awe and also to regain your strength, meanwhile, Kagayas hand didn't leave your waist as he held you. "My name is Y/N Ubuyashiki. I am the Wisteria Hashira! I look forward to working with you all in the future!" You grin, bowing at everyone.
"While Y/N is my wife, please don't treat her any differently" he pleaded, bowing.
"Of course master, she is a very kind person, She came by earlier to mix some herbs to create medicine" Shinobu smiled softly for once, nodding toward you
Kagayas other hand gripped your own before you patted his back. He was hesitant to let go of you, worried about your condition, but you sent him a carefree smile and he sighed, knowing you were stubborn enough to handle yourself, which did put him at slight ease
"Woah, no wonder your Haori looks like the masters!" Kyojuro beamed, sending you a thumbs up,
"Yes I thought so too when you visited me earlier" Shinobu smiled, clapping her hands
"By the way, last night I met our lovely colleague Tengen Uzui." You grinned,
"He's a charmer isn't he?" Mitsuri butted in, giggling
"Quite the opposite actually" you laugh, covering your mouth. "He was adamant about escorting me off the estate because I wasn't flashy enough to be the master's wife"
Mitsuri couldn't hold in her giggles as she hit Tengen's shoulder
"My apologise, Y/N" Tengen's loud voice responded as he rubbed the back of his neck, "To be truthful, I thought you were pretty flashy, I was going to take you to my estate and introduce you to my wives," He said with a nervous chuckle,
"Oh, that's right! We should introduce ourselves!" Mitsuri stood up, bouncing from Tengen over to you
"My name is Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira! I am a God!" He bowed, making everyone chuckle,
"Over there is the water pillar Tomioka. He doesn't have any friends" Shinobu pointed at the man with the mismatched Haori and you sent him a wave. "And you know I am the insect Pillar"
"I'm Mitsuri Kanroji, the love Hashira and that guy up in the tree is Obanai Iguro, the serpent Hashira. Oh! I can already tell you and the master have a lot of love for each other! So cute!" she grabbed your hands, her hair hitting your face slightly as she jumped up and down excitedly,
"I am Gyomei! The stone pillar. A pleasure to meet you" The tall man spoke out, holding his prayer beads out towards you as a gesture of acknowledgment
"And you already know Sanemi" Kagaya hummed, You noticed how he had began to sound tired, which made you glance at him. He was noticeably, well to you at least, weakening already. You could see minor tremors running through his body, and the way he stood was unnerving as if he was trying to keep himself from falling
"Well she better, She's known me for a while now, and she isn't old enough to begin worrying about her memory. Or are you?" Sanemi rolled his eyes, glaring at you, "Y/N, what's 9+10?"
"Shush Sanemi. It is lovely to meet you all!" You replied, turning back to Kagaya but beginning to cough again, he rushed over to you, but he limped slightly, still grabbing your arm as blood spilt from the corner of your mouth
"Y/N" Kagaya said warningly, catching your arm,
"I'm okay!" You wave him off, and it was then that Kagaya noticed the dried blood on your lips and the blood splatter on your haori
"How long has she been like this? It's just been a day, this is even more than me"
"Alright everyone, I will meet each of you individually to discuss with you and send you on your next missions. Have a good afternoon, and please take care" He bowed, before turning to leave
"Blossom, are you coming with me?" He turned back, gazing at you innocently, leaning his arm out for you to take,
"How would you all like to go for a drink?" Tengen asked, slapping your back, taking your attention away from Kagaya
"Why would you invite her? She'll ruin it" Obanai muttered
"Shut up, she's coming if you like it or not" Sanemi slapped his hand, then rubbed his head,
"Sounds like a plan!" You grin, everyone nodding in agreement, surprisingly also Tomioka, but when you turned back to say goodbye to Kagaya he was already gone

"Oh I needed this" you laugh, wrapping an arm around Mitsuri's shoulder
"Y/N! I was wondering, how do you know my father?" Rengoku asked, sipping away at his drink
"Well you see, your father was already a Hashira by the time Kagaya became leader of the Corp, and I was a rank below Hashira. He offered to train me, and within 6 months I became a Hashira. He used to talk about you a lot, and you look exactly like him!" You cheered, patting his cheeks
Admittedly, you were slightly tipsy, you were not one to hold your liquor well
"So what was it like in Germany Y/N?" Shinobu butts in, sipping her sake,
"It was amazing! I mean they are still economically recovering from the war but despite that, it is a beautiful country! It was nice not to have to slay demons however I worked hard for the last two years working with their herbs to try and create medicine for Aya and the Demon slayers who are hurt in combat" You grin, tossing your long hair over your shoulder,
"Well? Did it work?" Obanai snapped in, sounding sly
"Well I only got back yesterday, we haven't tried it yet"
"If its poison and you kill the Master we will kill you" He snarled, in response Sanemi grabbed his collar roughly,
"She's his wife, you idiot!"
"Ah shush Sanemi, a little banter never hurts anyone" You lean forward, smiling at Obanai
"Look, I don't like you or trust you. Did you brainwash the master into loving you? I know he is weak but I didn't think he was so weak that he'd be manipulated" He replied angrily, shrugging Sanemi off. Everyone became silent and stared at him in shock
You stood, glaring down at Obanai. You grabbed his collar, and all you saw was red. "Let me warn you. My husband may be kind and loving towards everyone but believe me. I will not hesitate to beat you if you disrespect Kagaya, my children, Yes I heard your comment earlier, or myself. Got it? I love that man, and have known him for probably a while longer than your petty time as a Hashira began so shut up"
"Whatever" he slumps, moving to hide by Mitsuri, who just stared at him in shock
You pull your haori back on over your kimono, sighing, "I think I'm going to go home for the night, see you all for training tomorrow?"
"Yes! See you then!" Gyomei responds everyone else was still in shock, just nodding instead
You leave, Sanemi follows you
"You didn't have to leave as well Sanemi" you sigh, stalking off further into the woods and out of the village to make your way back to the estate
"Eh, they are all inferior to me anyway. Besides, what friend would I be if I let a lady walk alone in the dark" He smirked, before jumping on your back "The master wouldn't be happy with me"
"Oi, do you want a wack!" You glared, shoving him off but he just gripped on tighter,
"Chill out Y/N, What's got you in such a foul mood" He pulled your hair,
"Why doesn't that guy Obanai not trust me?"
"He's usually like that with newcomers. Very... reserved?" He snickered,
You sigh, shoving him off and leaning against a tree outside the estate entrance
"I don't want to see Kagaya yet. I'm still a bit upset that he didn't tell me about Kanae" You mumble, playing with the hem of your shirt
"He did it so that you wouldn't be distracted Y/N. He said your meetings in Germany were vital" Sanemi sighed as you got to the entrance of the mansion
"I guess" You looked down, kicking a rock
"Look, I miss her too but we've got to stick together now. It's what she would have wanted, alright?" He sighs, running a hand through his hair
"I just wanna see my best friend again, I didn't even get to see her during the last Hashira meeting because I was ill! Ugh, why? He could've just told me" You flap your arms around, tears welling up in your eyes as you leant your head against the tree, mumbling incoherent things
"Y/N?" Sanemi cackled, "Are you tipsy?"
"No are you? You aren't yourself, you are acting much nicer than usual" You replied, a straight face, "Oi, Marshmallow. I'm talking to you!"
"What the hell is a marshmallow?"
"It's a sweet European snack! I brought some back for Kagaya actually" you hummed, rocking back and forth on your heels,
"You are definitely tipsy. Let's get you back to the master." He rolls his eyes, pushing you forward
"I guess so, Thanks Sanemi" You jabbed his side but then he tackled you into a hug making you laugh
"Alright, alright you douche, let me go talk to him" you push him off
"Night dipshit, don't be too harsh on him"

Hi! So just wanted to clear the timeline up a bit in case any of you were confused.
We are not following the Demon Slayer timeline/proper plot. Basically, the flashback to how Y/N got her scar is when you are 17 and Kagaya is 16.
when your dad kicks you out the Ubuyashiki family takes you in, and Kagaya's father gets sicker as the curse continues to take hold. One year later Kagaya's father dies, and that is when Kagaya becomes the leader of the Corp.
Kagaya becomes leader at 17, you are 18, and you marry that year.
When Kagaya is 18 and you are 19 you had your children (in the anime they were quintuplets so 5 children, yikes)
Also, all the Hashira of the 'new generation' were appointed at the same time, just after you left for Germany, so when you were 23 and Kagaya 22
Act one is when you are 25 and Kagaya 24, and at this point in time your children are 6 years old. When you were away and Kagaya was extremely unwell, your two eldest and most mature children, Hinaki and Nichika, attended Hashira meetings accompanied by a Kakushi and relayed the information back to Kagaya when he was well enough
Act two will reveal itself shortly anyway.
