In the Amirel State, Amiru addressed the situation hand. she made it clear to those involved that they should leave by the following day,
emphasizing that they should be grateful that their punishment was only banishment from his territory. She directed his words toward Witira and Paseton, warning them that they would receive similar punishment if they caused any more issues within his domain.
Amiru then turned his attention to Cale and expressed concern, noting that Cale seemed to be showing symptoms of catching a cold. She also suggested that Athanasia should accompany him.
Cale agreed, and Athanasia nodded in acknowledgment.
Amiru, however, took a moment to observe Toonka, who had been staring with a blank expression.
Athanasia silently noted his behavior, considering the potential for character development in the future.
Cale questioned Amiru's decision, asking if that was why he was chasing Toonka out.
Amiru looked at Athanasia, who sighed in response.
Cale observed Toonka's complex expression and noted, "That reckless bastard has just been staring with a blank face since earlier. No, I guess it's more of a complicated expression."
Paseton expressed his concerns, asking if it was really alright for them to go with Cale and Athanasia.
Cale assured them, "It's not like you have anywhere else to go, right?"
Athanasia chimed in, encouraging them to join them. "He's right. You should probably come with us since I know you want to discuss something with us, am I right?"
Paseton and Witira exchanged glances but didn't say anything.
As Athanasia headed to the carriage first, Cale followed suit and told Paseton and Witira, "We can at least give you a place to stay for the night."
With that, Cale settled into the carriage beside Athanasia, while Witira and Paseton also entered.
Cale gazed out of the window, contemplating Toonka's future. He wondered, "In any case, I'm sure Toonka will go back to the Whipper Kingdom. Should I contact the Crown Prince?"
Cale's thoughts shifted to Witira and Paseton, and he couldn't help but hear their words of gratitude.
Paseton spoke sincerely, "I didn't fully thank you both for saving my life that time," and bowed slightly to Cale and Athanasia.
Witira echoed his sentiments, saying, "Thank you for saving my brother. I'm grateful."
Athanasia, with a warm smile, replied, "I just wanted to help when someone was in need."
Cale didn't respond with words, but he nodded in acknowledgment. Witira and Paseton smiled, appreciating his understanding and acceptance.
As the carriage reached its destination and came to a stop, Cale was the first to disembark. He extended his hand to Athanasia, offering assistance. She accepted his hand, and together they stepped out of the carriage.
Hans, who had rushed over to greet them, expressed his concern. "Are you both alright, young master and young lady?"
Cale assured him, "I'm fine," and looked at Athanasia for confirmation.
Athanasia concurred, "I'm also fine, Hans. Don't worry."
Hans noticed Witira and Paseton behind them, which left him somewhat puzzled.
Cale, noticing Hans's confusion, pointed to Witira and Paseton and directed them, "Guide these two to a room."
Hans simply replied, "Ah, yes."
As Cale and Athanasia walked further into the house, Athanasia cast a slight smile back at Witira and Paseton.
Upon reaching their destination, Beacrox, who had been waiting for them, observed their disheveled state and said, "Go heat up the bathwater."
A child servant rushed off to attend to the task.(idk the name)
As they prepared for a bath, the child approached them, offering them some juice. The child expressed concern about their well-being, mentioning that he had heard they had nearly been injured in the fight.
Athanasia reassured him, "I'm not injured or anything, so don't worry."
Cale chimed in, "No, really, I wouldn't have gotten hurt."
The child, however, wished there was more he could do to help.
Athanasia noticed the child's worry and patted his head gently. "Don't worry."
The child smiled, comforted by her words.
Cale, observing this interaction, couldn't help but smile himself, although he kept it subtle and unnoticed by others.
Beacrox suggested, "Young master and young lady, go and wash up first."
As they were about to enter their respective bath areas, Witira and Paseton spoke up, expressing their desire to see Cale and Athanasia after some rest.
Cale considered their request. He thought, "Are they planning on keeping their identities hidden?" He turned to Athanasia, waiting for her response.
Athanasia, agreeing with Cale's decision, nodded and said, "Sure, see you tomorrow," as she waved her hand slightly.
Cale, sipping his juice, added, "And since we need to rest and because I'm feeling sore, we'd prefer not to have anyone else here."
Witira and Paseton nodded in understanding and left the room to find some much-needed rest.
As night descended, Cale opened the terrace door, and his dragon followed him outside.
The dragon expressed concern about Cale's condition, noting that he was coughing. Zephyr, who was perched on Athanasia's shoulder, chimed in, agreeing that Cale needed rest and was causing people to worry.
The dragon grumbled, "So frustrating, humans," in response to Zephyr's words.
Athanasia observed the interaction, well aware of Cale's intentions.
Cale contemplated his condition, realizing that he should be saying something else. He wondered, "What do I do when they don't believe me when I tell them I'm fine?"
He turned to Athanasia, his expression serious, and instructed her, "I'm going, and don't go anywhere, understand?"
Athanasia nodded in agreement and reassured him, "I'm not going anywhere, I promise," making a V sign with her hand. She wished him good luck and a safe return.
Cale smiled at her and then turned to the dragon, ready to depart. "Let's go."
The dragon replied, "Alright, for now."
Hong and On, who had been observing, spoke simultaneously, "Have a safe trip."
With Cale and the dragon taking flight into the night sky, Athanasia stood on the terrace, waving her hand as they floated away. Cale smiled slightly in response.
As Cale continued his journey further away, Athanasia maintained her cheerful demeanor, turning her attention to Hong and On. She suggested, "Let's go to sleep, shall we?"
Hong and On smiled and followed Athanasia as they settled into bed. Athanasia smiled contentedly as she lay down, with Hong, On, and Zephyr by her side, ready to rest for the night.
