LEONORA, KLAUS AND STEFAN HAD BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW. The three of them had silently formed a routine, Leonora and Klaus in the front, whereas Stefan sits in the back brooding. She had taken the fall as she decided Stefan needed time to grieve his latest girlfriend who had recently passed, so she mostly engaged in conversations with the hybrid when he was feeling talkative.

Leonora was sitting in the front-passenger seats with a bag of books at her feet, and a blanket draped across her lap. Klaus had been generous in aiding her comfortability, seeing as she is human and needs the basic requirements - and because she gets fidgety if she's in one place too long. Which he had noticed on their second day.

The time-traveller had been trapped in the car for four hours with a maniac and a depressant, it's fair to say, she is not happy with the situation. All she could do was either look out the window, or talk to either males, but seeing as Stefan was silent most the time that left Klaus. And Klaus was not the easiest to talk to.

Majority of his words came out teased and mocking. He never encouraged her questions on world history because he liked when the 'infamous genius' didn't know something. So she had been giving him the silent treatment.

"Will you quit moving?" Stefan's voice sounded out from behind her. Leonora stopped her leg bouncing and turned back to see the young vampire. "Deal with it." She turned back and continued to bounce her leg. Ten minutes had went by of her leg bouncing and she was now also tapping her fingers against her thigh, when a hand enclasped her hand, halting her tapping and leg bouncing. "Why do you constantly feel the need to move, love? Just sit back and relax."

Leonora turned to Klaus and wiggled her hand out of his grip. "I've been sitting here for four straight hours."

She saw Klaus glance at her from the corner of his eye, before setting his sights back on the road. "Stefan's having no issue? He's happily sitting back silently."

"That's because Stefan's depressed. I'm not, so I can't just sit here and look out the window for hours." Leonora said, pointing to Stefan's moody figure to emphasise a point.

"Fine. We will get you some books. Happy?" Klaus's annoyed voice resonated to her ears. She smiled and nodded before patiently waiting for her entertainment.

She was currently reading a book about Greek Mythology, more specifically: 'The Minotaur'. She had been reading it for three hours and not once has she spoken. She was interrupted from her book when started groaning. "There's no blood-bags." Leonora looked to Klaus, who had one hand on the steering wheel and another in his lap, he glanced to Stefan through the mirror as he answered. "Well that's too bad."

Stefan rolled his eyes, without the hybrid seeing. "No seriously, you want me to become the ripper you're gonna have to keep the blood topped up." Leonora lolled her head back against the seat, fed up with Stefan's whining. "We'll stop for a bite later." Klaus's short reply came. But Stefan kept insisting for blood so Leonora, fed up, held out her hand and concentrated on the blood-bag freezer down in the Salvatore basement. Her hand was held out as a blood-bag appeared in a light of blue, she threw it to Stefan while saying. "There, now quit the whining."

She went back to her book, but saw Klaus turn his head to look at her and did so for quite a while. "Eyes on the road. You two may be immortal, but I'm not." She heard Klaus chuckle before his reply. "No, you're something else. Tell me, what exactly are you?"

"Annoyed."

Klaus chuckled again, but kept persisting. "You are unlike any witch I've ever seen." Leonora closed her book, deciding to engage in conversation for a while. "That's because I'm not witch." Stefan's head leant forward next to hers to look at her before disappearing to the back. "But you have magic."

Leonora shook her head. "I may have magic, but I'm not a witch. I can be compelled." Both Stefan and Klaus turned to look at her, Klaus returning his gaze to the road a second after. "I didn't know that." Stefan said. Leonora chuckled and played with her tie while crossing her legs in the seat. "When was I born?"

Stefan's silence proved her point. "You don't really know me." She turned to look at Stefan's shameful face. "Don't worry. I made it so you didn't." Both males looked to her before Klaus asked. "And why is that, love?"

"Because I had more important things to do." She shortly replied before Klaus had turned the car off and turned towards her. "You are coming with me, little Nova." She turned to him with a questioning look. "I'll come. But don't call me that." She begrudgingly pulled her blanket of and went to open the door, but Klaus had sped to her side and held it open for her. "Thanks." She said while stretching her legs.

She looked up into the dark sky as Klaus was talking to Stefan. The stars shone bright and she felt a sudden warmth hit her core, her magic wanting to connect with the star-dust and let loose. She was broken out of her thoughts, as Klaus wrapped his arm around her waist and begun to guide her away. She tried to push his arm off but he only wrapped on tighter, so she gave up and crossed her arms.

"Rudy! It's too hot to make me come looking for you!" Leonora heard as her and Klaus walked up to a blonde women who was calling out, with a dog lead in her hand. She turned and saw Leonora and Klaus and gasped while jumping. "I am so sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." Leonora resisted the urge to laugh at Klaus's ridiculous American accent.

"Can I help you?" The girl rudely asked. Klaus nodded and gestured to Leonora. "Yeah, my, uh, my car ran out of gas a couple miles back and my fiancé is pregnant, she's been complaining about the walk here. Yours is the first house we came across to. I was hoping we could use your phone?" Leonora cursed Klaus out in her head at his ridiculous pregnancy lie.

"Don't you have a cell phone?" The girl asked , glancing to Leonora. The so called 'pregnant fiancé' wanted to get back at her 'lover' so she quickly interrupted Klaus's beginning sentence, not bothering to cover up her British accent. "Yeah, we use to." She put her hand down Klaus's pockets making him have goosebumps across his skin. She held up the phone. "Unfortunately, his phone battery died and mine was smashed because someone had gotten road rage. Not good for the baby." She put an adorning hand on her 'pregnant belly' and patted Klaus's chest.

"Oh, no, stress is bad for a pregnant women. Could harm the baby." The women sympathized with Leonora. She nodded and pretended to fan herself. "I know, and my fiancé isn't helping with all the shouti-"

She was cut off as Klaus pinched her waist and interrupted her. "Look, promise were not serial killers. I just wanna use your phone." Leonora internally face planted at Klaus's stupidity.

"Sure." The girl agreed. Klaus made Leonora take a step forward with him next to her. "So, we can come in?" The girl turned back around and said. "No. I'll get the phone and bring it out to you." Leonora silently applauded the girl for her common sense.

Leonora watched Klaus's 'nice' face drop and his usual psychotic features come forth. "I thought you country folk we're supposed to be more trusting." His normal British voice had returned.

"I'm from Florida." The girl replied with attitude. Leonora sighed. "Well that explains it." Klaus said, before he removed his arm from Leonora's waist and sped to the girl  - enclasping her neck in his grip. "Now, show me a little Southern hospitality, sweat pea." The three of them went into the house as another female voice sounded out.

"I bet you $100 that dog ran off to a house with air-conditioning."

"Let's hope so." Leonora said. Making the women gasp and turn around to see Klaus holding the girl by the back of the head and Leonora leaning against the doorway. "What's going on?" The brown-skinned girl asked.

"Please don't be alarm. I'm told Ray Sutton lives here." Klaus said, tightening his hold on the weeping Florida women. "He's almost never here. He's on the road mostly."

"But I expect he makes it home once a month."  Klaus said, walking slowly towards the girl who was silent. "That's what I thought. Where is he now?" The girl didn't reply. "If I have to make you tell me, it's going to be infinitely more painful for you."

The girl shoved Leonora into a wall and ran past her, leaving her friend behind. She tried to make it to the front door but upon opening it, she was greeted by the ripper. "How loyal." Leonora annoyingly said, putting her shirt back into place.

"I love it when they run!" Klaus laughed maniacally, walking towards the runner. "He's in Tulley!" The girl said, with tears pouring down her face.  "It's near the boarder. A bar called Southern Comfort. It's off Highway 41."

Leonora walked out the door, not hearing the rest of Klaus's words. Soon enough she heard footsteps behind her. "Why'd you leave?" Klaus voice said from behind her. "You missed all the fun."

She turned around and begun to walk backwards while talking. "Fun? I don't count this as fun."

Klaus chuckled before spreading his arms out. "Don't worry love. You'll soon get your fun." Klaus had plans to see the infamous Leonora Matisse in action. He just wanted Stefan to adapt first.

Leonora shook her head, turning back around. "I'm not doing your dirty work for you. That's why you have Stefan."  Klaus only shook his head at her as he slowly walked towards her. "But something tell me that you'll be." He leaned down to her ear, pressing her against the car as he whispered. "Beautifully dangerous. And I want to indulge in every move you make."

She began to feel herself getting over-heated, so she pushed Klaus away and went around the car to her side. "I'd rather slam my tongue in the car door." She got in the car and Klaus got into the drivers seat. The two sat in silence before the hybrid spoke up. "I truly did enjoy the little moments that you came."

Leonora didn't look to Klaus as she sighed and started playing with the ends of her skirt. "So did I" she softly replied.

The two didn't talk anymore as Stefan got into the car all bloody. Leonora grabbed a towel for him and turned around in her seat, she started to wipe his hands but Stefan groaned and pulled away. "Stop it."

"No. You stink of blood." She continued to wipe his hands and then threw the towel at his face. "Clean." She demanded before turning back around and picking up her book. "We will stop off at a motel for Leonora first. First thing in the morning, we will go find our werewolf." Klaus ordered while turning on the engine.

The three of them continued to drive for an hour with soft music playing in the background. Leonora had already fallen asleep by the time they came across the motel. "Go get the keys." Klaus demanded, Stefan was about to argue but a look from Klaus and he was walking away and to the reception.

Klaus pulled a piece of hair away from her face and begun to stroke her cheek with a fond look in his eyes. He got out the car and to her side before opening the door and picking her up. He held the sleeping beauty to his chest protectively as Stefan came and handed them the keys. Stefan went to his room while Klaus continued to walk to Leonora's. He unlocked the door and gently put her down on the bed, worried her tie would agitate her; he slowly took off the tie and took her boots off. Before unbuttoning the first button of her shirt to enable her to breath easier.

He once again stroked her hair as he placed a soft kiss to the top of her head. He exited the room, and went to his. Klaus Mikaelson stayed up all night, listening in to the beauty a couple rooms down from his, to protect her from anything that could disturb her from her slumber.

   【--------------ー】

Leonora woke up to someone shaking her, she opened her eyes to be greeted with Stefan, with his hands on her shoulders and shaking. "Cmon, get up. Klaus wants us to get the werewolf."

Groaning, Leonora sat up from her bed and noticed her tie and shoes missing with her waist-coat slightly unbuttoned. No wonder she slept so comfortably. Knowing Klaus and his infatuated ass had done it, she picked it the missing items and put them on. She went to the bathroom and washed her face and brushed her hair with the plastic one that came with the room.  She put on the little makeup she kept in her pocket; mascara and tinted lipgloss.

She made her way out of the bathroom with brushed teeth, she saw Klaus sitting on her bed. "Took you long enough." She rolled her eyes and adjusted her tie in the mirror. "I could just go take a shower." She began to walk to the bathroom again, when Klaus sped in-front of her. "Don't play games. Let's go." He softly grabbed her forearm and begun to lead her out of the room.

The three of them had arrived outside of the bar that the werewolf; Ray Sutton, was currently sitting in. The boys were trying to convince Leonora to go in there and flirt with him. "No! If anything Stefan should go. He's the one with his arms out."  Klaus looked to Leonora with impatience. "I don't think Ray goes for Stefan, love. Please, will you just go in there and distract him."  Upon seeing her resistance, he continued. "Look, I don't want you doing this as much as you do. But, I need Ray to tell me the location of his pack. So be a good little darling and go in there."

Leonora sighed out before taking of her tie, un-buttoning her shirt so her cleavage was out before straightening out her waistcoat. She began to walk towards the bar, purposely making her skirt rise up and brushed a hand through her hair ; making it messy.

She walked up next to Ray and leant over the bar. "Hi, please may I have a bourbon." She put on a 'sweet', high-pitched voice. She saw Ray glancing at her before focusing in on her completely, or more specifically her ass. "Hello, sweetheart. Never seen you here before." Leonora now knew he was an alcoholic. She turned to him with a fake smile and leaned down, making sure her cleavage was in his line of sight.

And it worked, as Ray couldn't look her in the eyes anymore as the bulging breasts. "Well, I am a new-comer and is exploring nearby places. And well." She giggled. "Here I am." She hid her disgust as Ray put his hand on her waist before dragging it down to her ass. But before he could cup it, a hand ripped his off and Leonora was pulled into a chest. "Ray? Ray Sutton?"

She turned to look at Klaus before walking away, leaving the drink, and towards Stefan who had her tie in his hands. She thanked him and put it on before walking towards a booth and watching the vampire and hybrid. "Not so fast mate." Klaus stopped him. "You only just got here. Now, your type are very hard to come by."

Ray attempted to get up, however Stefan pushed him back down. "I wouldn't do that." Ray glanced to the two men and the female who had led him on. "Vampires." He muttered in disgust. Klaus chuckled, putting a hand on Ray's shoulder. "You're swifty swift Ray. Yes, my friend here is a vampire. He's compelled everyone in the bar. I however, I'm something else. A different kind of monster. I've got some vampire, I've got some wolf."

Ray looked to Klaus in fear and confusion. "You what?"

"A hybrid Ray. I'm both. You see I want to create more of me, now you being the first werewolf I've come across in many a moon - pun intended, Ray. I need you to direct me to your pack. " Ray looked towards the female in the corner with nerves. "And her? She's not a vampire."

Klaus glanced towards Leonora who was watching, he caught her eye and smirked. "Her Ray, now she is something unearthly. She's no vampire, witch or werewolf. She's something unknown." Ray's eyes widened as he glanced towards the calm female. "She is a whole different kind of beauty." Klaus went to whisper in Ray's ear. "And if you keep looking at her, I will gouge out your eyeballs and make you choke on them."

Ray instantly looked away from Leonora, making her wonder what Klaus had whispered to him. "So, Ray. Where can I find your pack?" Ray only shook his head. "You can't compel me, it won't work."

Klaus looked towards Stefan and he instantly got to work. "Can I get a scotch on the rocks, please?" He undid the bag. "Tell you what Ray. We're gonna have a little drinking game. Something I like to call; Truth or Wolfsbane."

Klaus smiled. "Oh this is going to be fun, Ray." He began to walk over to Leonora and sat next to her with a bottle of alcohol in his hand. He offered some to her, however Leonora shook her head. "Alcohol, slows the braincells down."

"You and your bloody mind. You need to take a break, love. You don't need to know everything." Klaus said, rolling his eyes. Leonora rolled her eyes. "And you don't need hybrids, yet here we are."

Klaus was about to resort when Ray's screams sounded out, making him smile. Leonora looked to the pain-filled werewolf, feeling nothing. Does that make her a bad person? She hoped not. She is technically a hostage so she should relate to the guy, their both being tortured - just in different ways.

Stefan was mixing an alcoholic drink mixed with wolfsbane to add extra spice. He had been throwing darts at the werewolf and forced to bear the screams he caused. "Ray. You can end this right now. Just tell me where your pack gather for the full moon."

"I can't." Ray panted out in deep breaths of pain.

"I know. I know. You live by a code and all that. But see, he's not gonna let me stop until you tell me. And I do whatever he says. That's the way it goes around here." Stefan gestured to Klaus.

Leonora watched as a women came up to her and Klaus. "Hello, Mr,Klaus." This made Leonora scoff with a laugh, Klaus looked towards the time-traveller and put his hand on her thigh and squeezed. Leonora stopped smiling and tried to rip his hand off, having no choice but to telekinetically remove it. "I have some more information for you. You told me to tell you if I saw anything. I saw that guy's brother, Damon, at the farm house."

"Well thank you Claudine, you just tell your friends to keep up the good word. With the neighbourhood watch." Klaus compelled her.

Leonora shook her head, before standing up and going towards Ray as Stefan and Klaus conversed. She heard the door shut and Klaus begun to watch as Leonora tried her way with Ray.

"Hello, Ray. I'm sorry about all the wolfsbane, but apparently it's necessary." She said. Ray, still panting heavily replied with attitude. "Why should I believe you? You're with him."

"I'm not with him Ray. I'm a hostage. There's a difference." Leonora said while sitting on the table opposite him and begun to zero-in on his appearance.

She noticed mud marks on his neck, standing up she walked closer and just stood, observing him. There were indents on his wrist, he's been shifting for years. Pocket has no cell-phone, 2010 everyone has one; suggests he's just gotten back from the pack location. His neck has got mud, further expands the evidence of recently visiting his pack members, however gives away locations terrain - suggesting mud; mountains, forests. West of North Caroline and East Tennessee, two mountain terrains lay between those two. Cades Cove Mountains or Smokey Mountains.

She looked back to Rays eyes as she chest skim her back and felt Klaus's presence right behind her. "Cove or Smokey Mountains?" As soon as she said those words Ray started sweating and trying to escape from his place bound against the wall. She felt Klaus's hand hover above her waist.

"Smokey Mountains." And just like that, Ray was pleading. "No! No! Please don't hurt them!" Leonora was spun around and Klaus's face was inches away from her. "You are enchanting, my sweet Nova." He brushed her hair and pulled her closer, their nose brushed against one another.

Leonora hummed before pushing Klaus away and walking back towards her seat. Klaus followed her figure, walking away with intriguing and desiring eyes. He turned back to Ray and laid him on a pool table. "Okay, it's a three step process ray. This is step one. I want you to drink from my wrist."

"She already figured it out. What more do you want from me?" Ray groaned out in deep breaths of pain. "Have you been listening to a word I've been saying, Ray? I have great plans for you." Klaus cut his wrist and held it to Ray's mouth, forcing him to drink.

Leonora looked in discomfort as Ray's body began to convulse. "He'll thank me for it later." Klaus laughed out. She looked to him and gave him a 'are you serious' look, she only received a wink in return making her turn away and swish the liquid in the cup that was next to her. "There we go! Attaboy."

Stefan had come back and was watching the scene beside Leonora, who turned to him and asked. "You good?" Stefan wordlessly nodded in reply. She turned back as Klaus snapped Ray's neck and walked over to the two.

"You're back." Klaus said, facing both Stefan and Leonora. "Did you doubt me?" Stefan questioned, without actually caring. Klaus watched as Stefan began to walk closer to him. "Not for a second. I knew you'd pass the test. You still care for your brother, your old life."

Stefan scoffed, putting on a careless face. "Nah, I don't care about anything anymore." He walked away from Klaus and leant next to Leonora. She felt Klaus's body heat behind her once again as he talked to Stefan. "You put on a good show, Stefan. I almost believe you. Let's hope, for your brother's sake he does." He leant over Leonora, effectively trapping the girl against his chest, before whispering to Stefan. "You never stop caring about family, do you? But everytime you feed, the blood makes it easier to let go."

Leonora slipped from underneath Klaus and walked over to Ray. She enveloped the dead man in blue as her hand was coated in her magic and walked out the bar with a floating body in front of her.

She watched Stefan walk out into the night with sadness on his face, he pulled out his phone and called someone. She didn't know who, but he didn't speak, just listened.

She walked behind him as he got off the phone call and he walked towards her and engulfed her in a hug. Words were spoken without needing the vocals, they were in this together. She was going to be his strength and his protector for this journey.

The two of them separated as Klaus came out of the bar. "Tomorrow we will go to the Smokey Mountains to finally get my hybrids. For now, Leonora needs her rest." He left no room for argument and opened the passenger door, mimicking for Leonora to get in.

She obliged and sat in the passenger seat, watching the stars in the sky and the moon illuminating their pathway. She felt a sudden itch and was taken into an vision.

Ray was fidgeting on the floor, blood pouring out of his nose and ears. Leonora crouched down in front of him, aiding his pain. "It hurts! It hurts! Make it stop! Make it stop!"

Leonora jolted as the images had left her mind and the fast moving trees met her sights. A hand rested on her knee, she turned to see Klaus looking at her in a silent question. She nodded and he lifted his hand off before going back to driving.

   【--------------】

The time-traveller, the hybrid and the ripper were walking up the smokey mountains in the blistering heat. Leonora had ditched the tie and waist-coat and just had her white collared shirt, skirt, knee-high socks and boots. Her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows and her hair was in a ponytail, with pieces framing her face.

"You okay? Is ray getting heavy?" Klaus mocked Stefan. "I'm fine." Leonora heard Stefan grumpily reply.

However, Klaus continued to pester him. "You sure about that? We've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water a little sit-down?"

Leonora rolled her eyes. "Stop bugging him. He's already carrying your dead weight, no need to hear your dead words either." She was a little bit in-front of the boys as she drag a stick long stick with her, marking the ground. Stefan gestured to Leonora. "Yeah, I mean, I get that we're stuck together but if we could maybe skip the chitchat, it'd be great."

"Yeah I don't even know why you need these hybrids. No one's like me, yet you don't see me trying to make more of me." She said, snapping the stick in two.

"Yeah, how did you even get your magic?" Stefan questioned her.

"Experimentation." Was all she said, before walking into the camp where many werewolves reside. Klaus looked at her walking figure in curiosity but also a bit of ... sadness? He couldn't comprehend the sudden emotion of sympathy. The vague answer of how she was a human experiment, for some reason, hit him quit hard. And he desired to know more, to understand her and learn all the mazes of Leonora Matisse's mind.

Upon noticing a stranger enter their territory, the wolfs all stood up and walked towards Leonora to try and intimidate. However, Leonora paid them no mind as she walked over to a log and sat on the floor, resting against it.

Stefan followed her figure, with Ray's deceased body hunched over his shoulders. He dropped him on the ground and a women came running towards the injured man. "Ray! Oh my god." Soon the other werewolfs were looking at Ray's bloodied form and began to glare at Stefan and Leonora.

"Who are you?" The women beside Ray asked. But Leonora watched as Klaus interrupted any more words and came in. "The important question is, who am I? Please, forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus." The time-traveller saw the werewolves step back in a moment of fear and terror, one girl was brave enough to state. "You're the hybrid.

"You've heard of me. Fantastic."

Something in Leonora's stomach fluttered at the confidence of the hybrid. But as soon as it came, it left again. She tilted her head, lost in her thoughts trying to identify the sudden emotion that she didn't have time to comprehend.

The two males came to sit on either side of Leonora, who was still sitting on the floor, leaning against the log. She played with her skirt as she listened to Klaus boast about himself. "It's fascinating actually. A werewolf who isn't beholden by the moon. A vampire who doesn't burn in the sun. A true hybrid."

At the end of Klaus's words Ray shot up and gasped for breath, attracting the attention of everyone in the camp. "Good timing, Ray." Klaus said. Leonora added onto his words. "Very dramatic." Her addition to his words made Klaus look down at her with a smirk. Ray turned to the three of them as he asked. "What's happening to me?"

"Stefan." Klaus ordered. Making Stefan stand up and loudly ask. "Are any of you human? Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to vampire. If he doesn't get it, he will die."

"Doesn't take much. Just a sip." Klaus said, getting up and slowly walking around. "What about your pet?" A women asked with attitude while pointing to Leonora.

The campsite was silent for a second before Leonora flicked her hand out and watched as the women was enclasped in blue tendrils and slammed into a tree. She disappeared from everyones sight, all the werewolves screamed and looked around for the suited girl. Klaus looked to Stefan with the biggest grin on his face, he was delighted that she had decided to join the fun.

Leonora appeared behind a blonde male and kicked him in the back, making him fly into Klaus who bit his arm. Klaus passed the human to Stefan who held him down near the transitioning vampire. Leonora turned back to the women who she was holding captive against the tree, she was screaming out.

She released her hold and the women attempted to run at her, but Leonora was faster and enclasped her neck in a tight hold. Klaus's chest was against her back, and he hands circled around her waist. Leonora having no chance to stop him as she was holding the struggling, screaming female.

"You don't drink it, Ray. I will. Problem is, I don't know how to stop." Stefan said to Ray, his back turned so he didn't see the proximity between his friend and enemy.

Klaus's hands tightened around Leonora's waist as he spoke to the girl in her deadly grip. "It's the new order, sweetheart. You join us, or you die." The wolf tried punching Leonora, however she caught her flying hand and snapped her wrist, by increasing her strength with her kinetic energy. She now had one hand around her neck and another on her broken wrist. She was conscious of Klaus's hands on her hips.

"I'd rather die than be a vampire." The girl gritted out in pain. "Suit yourself." Leonora said. And Klaus, still with one hand gripping her hips, bit into the other and shoved it into her mouth. Leonora watched, sandwiched against Klaus's body pressing against hers and the angry female, as the girl swallowed his blood. Once Klaus removed his hand, Leonora twisted her wrist and the girl's neck snapped.

She didn't feel Klaus's body heat leave, instead he drew closer and whispered in her ear, allowing his lips to brush her earlobe. "My little time-traveller. What a she-devil you are."

Leonora scoffed and walked away from him, and towards Stefan who was looking at the two of them with disgust and annoyance. He couldn't believe that his friend, his bestfriend, was allowing the evil hybrid to touch her like that? The hybrid who killed her friend, his girlfriend. Albeit, she's alive but Leonora doesn't know that - thankfully, which makes it so much worse to Stefan. Because, to Leonora, an innocent girl is dead at the hands of that man and yet she is still all friendly to him?

Leonora turned back to Klaus, to see him displaying his hybrid face. Something about the enticing golden eyes and threatening, piercing fangs brought adrenaline and excitement to her core. The knowledge that he could relish on the taste of her blood and yet, it brought her a certain rush instead of fear.

"Okay, who's next?" Klaus said, eyeing everyone with his enhanced hybrid face. He looked towards the time-traveller and saw her gazing at him in a dazed thought. He smirked at the increasing rhythm of her heart and took pleasure in her growing affections for him - that he knew, she constantly denied.

He turned around and begun to feed the human his blood, increasing his pace of healing. "Good as new." He started to compel him. "Now you relax, okay, mate? We're gonna need you when the rest of them wake up."

Leonora walked over to Ray and stood, towering over his whimpering, sitting form as he looked up at her with terror. "They're dead. They're all dead." He pulled at his hair. "It hurts! It hurts! Make it stop! Make it stop!"

She heard Klaus talk to Stefan from his place next to her. "Well, he's through his transition, he should be feeling better soon." Leonora was engrossed in her memory of the odd sighting she experienced in the car, last night. She's suddenly predicting episodes of the future, after 9 years of having her magic she suddenly gains clairvoyance. She reminded herself to look into it later.

"So what? Is this your master plan? Build an army of hybrid slaves." Stefan asked from slightly behind Leonora. "No, not slaves. Soldiers. Comrades." Klaus replied, smirking at Stefan.

Leonora bent down to Ray's height as she examined him. The newly transitioned hybrid wasn't going at all as it was supposed to. "For what war, might I ask?" Stefan's voice sounded out behind her.

A transition for a hybrid shouldn't be this troubling, it should correspond more to a werewolf transition, considering it's the vampire conjoining onto a werewolf's nature. The werewolf would feel pain, of course, but not for this long and certainly not bloody. "Well, you don't arm yourself after a war had been declared, Stefan. You build your army so big that no one dares pick the fight."

She held Ray's head her hands and she wiped the blood away. "Well it's not difficult to be loyal when you're on the winning team. That's something you'll learn, once you shake that horribly depressive chip of your shoulder?"

Ray began to cough and splutter blood everywhere, some getting on her cheek. "Oi, you two." Stefan didn't bother turning to her, but Klaus crouched down by her side. "So that's why you're keeping me around. To witness my attitude adjustment?"

Klaus took Ray's head from Leonora's hands as he begun to inspect Ray himself. "You'll know why I'm keeping you around when I've decided that I want you to know." He turned to Leonora. "Something's wrong." She nodded and begun to keep the transitioning hybrid up as he had nearly fallen over. "That shouldn't be happening, should it?" Stefan asked in amusement.

Leonora rolled her and snapped her head towards him. "Don't act dumb. It's not pretty." Ray began to convulse in her arms and turned to look up at her. "He said it was gonna feel better. Why doesn't it feel better?" She looked to him in pity and looked to Klaus with sad eyes. She truly felt bad for the guy, he looked like a kicked puppy.

Klaus looked back to her with crossed arms, he saw the sadness in her eyes as she sympathised with the sick man, and he was suddenly hit with shame. Shame that he made her upset. Shame that he couldn't do something right and ended save her this guilt. He avoided the feeling as he believed he was too good for emotions like; guilt, shame.

"Some master race, huh." Leonora's head snapped towards Stefan's. "Stefan if you don't shut your mouth, I'll rip out your tongue without even lifting a finger." She was sick of his constant attitude and sass. She understood that he wasn't feeling okay since his girlfriend had died, she understood that he was forced to become something he hated, she understood that he had to be stuck with his girlfriends killer. But for gods sake, she wanted him to shut the fuck up and deal with it. That's life. You move on.

Klaus seemed to agree with her because he later said. "Loose the attitude." Suddenly another gasp was heard, as the girl who called Leonora a pet shot up from the ground. "Derek. Come feed your girlfriend." Klaus ordered.

Leonora was about to stand up when Ray shot out of her hands and enclasped his hand around her neck and begun to bite her. She groaned and snapped his leg with her magic, however he was still latched onto her. Suddenly, he was ripped off of her and she was taken into arms. She watched as the hybrid ran away  and into the trees, with her hand on top of the bite wound.

She looked to Stefan who was opposite her with the same bewildered look, took a step towards her in silent  questioning, she nodded and Klaus ordered. "Go get him."

She watched Stefan's figure run after Ray as she was lifted off the ground and held in place. Klaus held her with one arm while moving the loose strands away from the wound. "You should of stayed by my side. This wouldn't have happened." He bit into his mouth and held it out to her.

Instead of drinking it, she shook her head and walked out of his grip. "I can protect and heal myself." She held up her powered hand and allowed the blue tendrils to attach to the wound, she focused on a given point in time where she didn't have the bite - it being a couple of seconds ago. She felt her body tingle and heat up, knowing it was her bodies clock-work reversing, she didn't panic. She felt the area and was glad to feel soft, smooth skin.

She turned to Klaus with a smug grin. "See." She turned around but jolted as he sped in front of her with anger on his face. "You clearly can't protect yourself! Look what happened!"

"And I'm fine now. No need to cause a scene." She waved him off. But Klaus grabbed her arm and pulled her to him. He spoke with a deadly tone. "You're staying by my side now. Got it?"

She scoffed and pulled away, teleporting further away from him. "You are so bipolar! One minute, you're wanting me to murder everyone, and the next you're throwing a fit because I got a bit of blood on me! Calm down!" She screamed at him, throwing her hands in the air as angry gestures. Her teeth were gritted and she looked him dead in the eye.

Klaus sped her to a tree and slammed her into it. "Leonora." He said with a warning tone and deadly serious glint in his eye.

"Niklaus." She bit back, just as deadly.

They looked at eachother for a moment, before Leonora blasted him away from her. He rolled a few paces back, before standing up with his hybrid face of display. He bared his teeth at her as he breathed heavily. Leonora let her eye illuminated their powerful lapis blue and tilted her head at him, moving her fingers that were encircled with blue tendrils.

The two of them silently challenged eachother, before Klaus sped-off into Stefan's direction. Leaving Leonora to wonder what ever the hell that was. She diminished her magic and let her hair out of his band. The waves all tangled and messy. She looked around at all the transitioning hybrids that were looking at her menacingly, and barring their new enhancements.

She eyed all of them as they begun to walk towards her, with a deranged look. She stepped back and into a hard chest. "What's happening." Klaus questioned.

"I don't know." She said as she started to walk around the campsite, observing the zombied hybrids. "Careful love. There's only one alpha here."

Leonora turned around abruptly as a hybrid pounced on her. She stopped it's movements and flicked her wrist, the body flying into a tree and being pierced in the heart by a branch. She looked to Klaus who had his hybrid face showing as he was also attacked.

She was grabbed and threw into a tree, but before she could collide with the bark, she teleported behind the hybrid and held a fist. Increasing the kinetic energy surrounding her hand, she sliced it's head clean on. She disappeared in a light of blue and onto the shoulders of a hybrid where she spun her body and threw her body forward - snapping the neck. She landed on her knees and saw Klaus looking at her with his hands deep in a hybrid's chest.

A foot sweeped her up and she fell onto her back with a hybrid dribbling blood onto her face. She focused on each molecule within space, the cosmos energy coursing through her veins, she willed as the hybrid begun to disintegrate and turn to dust and fall on her body.

She was grabbed by the back of the neck, but she spun under the arm and kicked the chest of the hybrid. She held it's body with her magic and elevated it into the air. Out-holding two hands, she begun to move her hands in opposite directions and watched as the centre of the body began to tear and rip.

She turned around to see Klaus sitting down and watching her with an impressed but dejected look. She was covered in blood, she had splatters all over her cheek and chin with long streaks of dripped blood down her forehead. Her hair was stained with it and her uniform was drowned in blood. Whereas Klaus only had bloody hands.

"Consider me impressed." He calmly said, sipping a beer. She knew he was trying to distract himself from the failure of the hybrids. "Hm. You're not so bad yourself." She came and sat a few metres away from him, allowing him space.

The two of them set in silence as Klaus would take occasional sips of his drink and held it to Leonora. Deciding to give it ago, she took the bottle and raised it to her lips. But at first taste she let it leak out of her mouth as she spat it out, sticking her tongue out. Her reaction invoked a chuckle from the saddened hybrid. Accomplished that she raised his spirits, she gave him the bottle back.

The two sat in silence for a couple of minutes before Stefan entered the camp with a dead Ray upon his shoulders. "They went rabid. Some of them we killed. The others just bled out." He stood up. "In the end. They're all dead." He threw the bottle, screaming. Leonora stood up and went to Stefan's side, seeing the werewolf bite. She didn't heal it though - wanting Klaus to prove that he still cares for his old friend.

Klaus continued to scream. "I did everything I was told! I should be able to turn them. I broke the curse. I killed a werewolf. I killed a vampire. I killed the doppelgänger." Neither Klaus nor Leonora saw Stefan's face of realisation as they were both lost in their own heads.

"You look like hell." Klaus said to Stefan with a dead face. "Last I checked, I'm dying. You don't wanna heal me." Leonora looked to Ray's dead body, knowing that Stefan killed him. "I had to take him out, I didn't have a choice. I failed you. I'm sorry. Do what you have to do."

Leonora gave Klaus a strict look from behind Stefan. He connected their eyes and looked at her for a few seconds before sighing and looking away. "It should have worked." He picked up a bottle and bit into his hand, allowing the blood to pour into it. He gave it to Stefan. "Bottoms up. Were leaving."

He began to walk away but turned back to look at Leonora and Stefan. "It appears you two are the only comrades I have left." And with that, he walked away.

Leonora walked up to Stefan and patted his shoulder. He looked at her and gave her a weirded out look. "You look wrecked." She chuckled as they begun to walk. "My suit is ruined." She smiled at his pathetic chuckles.

【--------------】

"Welcome back to Chicago Stefan. And welcome, little Nova." Leonora heard, taking out her headphones. She had showered and changed into a new suit with the use of teleportation and was now sitting in the passengers seat of the car.

"What are we doing here?" Stefan questioned as he aided Leonora in getting out of the car and they begun to follow Klaus. "I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days."

She stood in between Stefan and Klaus as they looked out at an on-coming truck. "Blacked out most of them. Lot of blood, lot of partying. The details are all a blur."

Leonora looked to Stefan in surprise, as she didn't take Stefan as a partier, but she's witnessed first hand at the rippers party personality. Stefan looked down to her and rolled her eyes. "Yes, Nora. I partied."

She held up her hands in weak surrender. "I know."

Klaus chuckled before replying to Stefan's detail of his past ripper phase. "Well that is a crying shame. The details are what make it legend. Chicago was magical."

"Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, don't remember most of it. You ever been to Chicago Nora?" He questioned, turning to the girl who was still looking out. She nodded. "Once. Back in the 1920s." She watched as Stefan's face grew confused and Klaus paid more attention to her words as he knew what had happened back then. More specifically, who.

"1920s? You couldn't have been there. That's 90 years ago." Stefan said, walking towards her in confusion.

She turned to him with a barely noticeable smile. "I was born 1971. Which would make me 39 years old, yet I've only lived 26 of them. And I look 18. Why do you think that is?" She didn't leave any room for an answer as she walked away from the two boys and got back in the car.

The three of them entered the bar. "Looks familiar, doesn't it?" Leonora admired the place that she had been to all those years ago. "I can't believe this place is still here."

Suddenly a voice sounded out. "You've got to be kidding me." She turned her head and saw Gloria, the women who had occupied this bar since the 90s. "So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender-" Klaus was cut off from his ridiculous joke as Leonora interrupted him. "Don't even. Your jokes are as dead as your hybrids."

No one had room for any input as Gloria turned to Stefan. "I remember you." He walked towards her in nostalgia. "Yeah. You're Gloria. Shouldn't you be..."

"Old and dead? Now if I die who's gonna run this place, hm?" She stated, looking around her bar. Klaus turned to Stefan and Leonora informing them. "Gloria's a very powerful witch."

"I can slow the aging down some. Herbs and spells. But don't worry, it'll catch up to me one day. Unlike you, Ms.Matisse. You have the nerve to step foot in here, considering what you are."

All eyes turned to Leonora, who just rolled her eyes and waved her off. "Jealousy is a disease Gloria. You keep it up and you'll be dying from that instead of the old age." She sarcastically smiled at the witch.

Klaus looked to Leonora with pride, as he has had his fair share of  prejudice from unknown strangers. He also prided in the fact that despite Gloria being a powerful witch, his little Nova was so much more.

Before any argument could occur from the two females - despite how much he'd enjoy the fight, he said to Leonora and Stefan. "Love, why don't you go help Stefan fix us up a little something from behind the bar."  She looked to him with a deadpanned face, before slowly turning around and walking away from him, while whispering a mimic of his voice, knowing he can hear.

Leonora can't hear what Klaus and Gloria are chatting about but by looking at Stefan's concentrated face, he is. Bored, she begins to mess around with the alcohol  - not really knowing what she's doing. She glances to see Stefan's reaction of her concoction, but her eyes skim past him and to a photo on the wall behind him.

She patted Stefan's shoulder, gaining his attention. She pointed towards the photo on the wall and watched as his expression became alarmed. They both walked up to Klaus, Leonora being able to hear the last of Klaus's words. "Rebekah."

Excitement filled her. She hadn't seen Rebekah in decades. "Rebekah is a bit pre-occupied." She mentally groaned, she wanted to catch up with her friend ever female friend. She wanted to feel the distant warmth that came with sharing all your secrets with a girl-friend. "She has what I need. Bring her to me." Gloria demanded.

"What is this?" Stefan questioned, looking alarmed at Klaus. The hybrid must of known what he was referring to as he didn't even see the photo. "I told you, Stefan. Chicago's a magical place."

"But this is me. With you"

"You looked dapper Stefan." Leonora cheekily said, Stefan just looked at her with a deadpanned face making her smile.

Klaus had begun to lead the two towards the warehouse where he keeps his siblings. And each step ignited more and more excitement and adrenaline within Leonora. She had been stuck with Klaus and Stefan for half of the summer already, she was ready to enjoy the company of a female.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why don't I remember you?" Stefan kept pestering Klaus with his questions as he kept looking at the photo.

"You said it yourself, that time had a lot of dark holes." Klaus brushed him off. Stefan gotten more angry at the absence of answers so he kept insisting. "If you knew me, why haven't you said?"

"I'm a little busy right now. Memory lane will have to wait." Klaus said, not turning to Stefan. This angered Stefan more, so he grabbed Klaus and spun him around to face him. Leonora stopped walking and waited for the two to get out of their testosterone competition.  "What the hell is going on? Answer me." He demanded.

Leonora heard Klaus's silence, so she decided to do it. "He compelled you." Both boys turned to her. One with realisation and another with annoyance. "Originals can compel vampires. He's an Original. You can't remember him. You were compelled."

Klaus looked to her with annoyance. "Thanks for spilling my secrets, love." She looked to him with a serious face. "He already knows you two met. So what's the point in hiding it from him." Klaus matched her serious expression. "You keep defying my wishes and I'll have no choice but to fix that attitude of yours."

Leonora was about to resort when Stefan muttered. "You compelled me." He looked to Klaus in anger. "Yes, Stefan. I compelled you. Let's just say, we didn't get off to a brilliant start. To be honest, I hated you."

Leonora begun to listen to Klaus's words about his and Stefan's feud, regarding his sister, Rebekah. She was slightly shocked to hear that Rebekah and Stefan used to have a 'thing' considering they are polar opposites now. But she guessed the 1920s ripper must of been a lot funner.

"Your sister? So I knew another Original vampire?" Stefan questioned. "If you can't handle it, then don't ask."

Stefan then turned to Leonora, trying to connect the dots. "Nora said she were in the 1920s too. Does that mean you compelled me to forget her too?" Klaus turned back around after walking away and looked to Leonora. "No. He didn't. He didn't know I was in that era at the time."

Stefan grew more confused "Era? What are you talking about? How do you know I was compelled then?" Leonora looked to Stefan, loving the building mystery around her life, she decided to entertain his queries. "I knew you were compelled because it's obvious. And I saw him do it." She looked to Klaus to see him looking at her more seriously now. "Yes, I was there. Why do you think you had the time to compel him?" She said to Klaus, indicating what they both knew.

Klaus looked to her in a familiar admiration. Even when he didn't know it, she was still protecting him.

"Sorry. Era?" Stefan continued to question. "I don't understand. You said you were 39 but have only lived 26 of them.  How is that possible?"

Klaus, wanting to get back at her for spilling his secret, blurted out. "She's a time-traveller Stefan."

"Thanks for spilling my secrets, love." She repeated his words, making him smirk. She turned back to Stefan. "I can control time and you didn't think I'd time-travel? Albeit, the first time was a mistake, but time-travel nonetheless."

Stefan's eyes widened in complete shock. Everything he knew the supernatural was increased, time-travellers exist. "Is there more of you then? More time-travellers?"

Leonora smiled softly at him, but Klaus could see the familiar sadness in her eyes. The sadness of being the only one, the first, alone. The feeling of wanting to belong to something, be apart of something bigger. He felt an understanding when gazing at her.

"No. I'm the only one. I have the ability to manipulate the space-time continuum." At her words, Stefan just stood in silence, thinking over everything he knew about her was twisted and turned to protect her secret. "Wait. So that means you two must of known eachother then, right?"

Klaus and Leonora looked to one another before Leonora nodded and said. "Yes. Throughout time I have been bumping into him. Every era, every year, I always meet him. And I don't know why."

Klaus chuckled at her, walking closer. "I've said it before and I'll say it again. Were destined to be together." Leonora laughed in his face. "Keep dreaming, blondie."

They both looked to one another for a couple of seconds, just gazing into eachothers eyes and reminiscing on the first time they had met. Before Leonora looked away and towards Stefan who was still eyeing the picture. "Come on Stefan. Rebekah's waiting."

Leonora followed behind Klaus as he went to a specific coffin. She detailed the engravings on the coffin and remembered them, incase she were to ever undagger them herself. He opened the lid and a beautiful blonde lay, jazzed up in a coma.

She eyed the grey veins staining her features in a bit of discomfort, as it gave her the creeps. She watched Klaus eye his baby sister in adoration as he caressed her cheek but once Stefan came behind the two, he hardened his softened eyes.

"I don't recognise her." Stefan said. "I wouldn't say that around her." Leonora warned, Klaus nodded to her words. "Rebekah's tempters worse than mine." Leonora hummed in disagreement, earning a joking warning look from Klaus.

He enclasped the dagger and pulled it out. "Time to wake up, little sister." The three of them sat around waiting for Rebekah to arise. Stefan was off to the side, trying to remember anything about the 20s and the sleeping beauty who lay a couple metres away from him. Whereas Leonora was sat on Elijah's coffin with Klaus leaning against it next to her.

She nudged Klaus on the arm with her knee, making Klaus look at her in question. "Do you think she'll forgive me?" She quietly asked, not wanting Stefan to get out of his head. Klaus looked to her in confusion. "Why would you need to be forgiven for?" He turned to lean his body side-ways so Leonora was completely in his view.

"I left you. I left her." She said, playing with the ends of her sleeves. Klaus fully turned to her and placed himself between her legs, making Leonora look up at him and get a warmth feeling in her stomach- which she brushed off immediately, not recognising the emotion.

He placed his hands on her knees and started to pull up her knee-high socks. "You couldn't control it, it was completely coincidental that we came across eachother. But one things for sure, Rebekah adored you and still does. She forgave you the second you left, little star." She watched him adjust her socks while he spoke, entranced in his words. She looked to him in hope and asked unsurely. "Really?"

Klaus looked up from adjusting her socks to be to her knees and grabbed her tie, bringing her closer, their breaths hitting eachothers face. He looked deep into her eyes. "Really." She nodded and smiled, jumping off the coffin she walked towards Stefan as Klaus said to all of them. "She's being dramatic."

Stefan was getting fed up now. "Look, why don't you just tell me what the hell is going on? I mean, you obviously want me here for a reason, right? It's obvious your obsessed with Nora, but what do you want from me?"

Klaus brushed off the comment about Leonora, knowing it were true. "Well you do have many useful talents. In fact, I learned some of my favourite tricks from you."

Leonora looked to Stefan to Klaus and back to Stefan in alarm. "That's concerning."   She remained silent as the two reminisced on Stefan forcing a man to drink his own wife's blood.

She looked at Stefan in a new light, not a negative one. But an understanding one. Stefan had a dark desire within him, years upon years of acting on it - he had the ability control it. Leonora saw hope looking at Stefan.

"I was your number one fan." Klaus said. Stefan didn't look convinced as Leonora and him followed Klaus to a security guard. "Why should I believe any of this?"

Klaus started to compel the security guard. "When she wakes up, tell her to meet us at Gloria's bar. Then volunteer your carotid artery and let her feed until you die." Klaus began to walk away with Stefan in tow. Leonora stayed by the security guards side, not really interest in Stefan's ripper ways anymore. "Where you going?" Stefan questioned, to which Klaus replied. "You think I'm lying? You and I, we knew each other. You trust me with one of your secrets. And now I'm going to prove it to you."

Their voices got more distant the further they went. But Klaus turned around, not hearing double footsteps behind him. "Come along, love."

She shook her head. "You two go ahead. I'm going to wait for Rebekah." Klaus begun to argue. "She hasn't fed in 90 years, love. She will attack you." He sped to her and tried to grab her arm but she teleported away. "Maybe she will. But she won't do any damage. Go."

Klaus looked to her in warning, before walking away to Stefan's side while shouting back to her. "We will be at Gloria's bar, love. I expect to see you there."

They walked out and left Leonora with a soon-to be dead security guard and a greyed out women. 10 minutes had gone by and suddenly a blur had zoomed past her. She backed up from the security guard and watched as the blonde beauty latched onto him before he could open his mouth. She begun to suck the blood out and Leonora saw his complexion pale each second he was in Rebekah's clutches.

Rebekah turned around at inhumane speed and slammed the other body into the wall and grazed their neck with her fangs. When suddenly she felt herself flying away and collided with the wall opposite. "You'd really kill you're dearest protector?" Rebekah's head snapped up at the dreamy voice, she saw Leonora Matisse standing there in the same attire 100 years ago.

Leonora went from being nearly bitten to being engulfed in a girl. "He found you! You're back. You're really back." Rebekah happily claimed, while squeezing Leonora. "I'm sorry I didn't stay with you last time. I couldn't exactly control it back then." She apologised.

Rebekah let her to and put her hands on her protector's shoulders. "All is forgiven. Kol explained how you cannot control it. But I'm happy you're here to stay now. You are here to stay, right?"

Leonora nodded, which made Rebekah smile and hug her one more time. Before she pulled back and asked. "Hold on. Where's Nik?"

"Elsewhere. It's been 90 years Rebekah, let's get you out of those clothes." Leonora said, she watched as Rebekah's eye built up tears and her posture slumped over. Seeing a way to lift her spirits, Leonora said. "It's a good thing he's not here. Maybe we can catch up for an hour or two. Go shopping, go on walks, go to cute cafes."

Rebekah's eye brightened as she laughed and took Leonora's arm in hers. "That's a great idea, Leo. But who's going to pay?" She thought for a second before she out-stretched her hand and a wallet dropped in it, in a light of blue. She held it up to Rebekah and said. "Nik."

Rebekah had compelled them a car - which she was absolutely loving. And the girls were having a karaoke trip.

Want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world
Like I'm the only one that you'll ever love
Like I'm the only one who knows your heart

Rebekah and Leonora sung their hearts out as Leonora drove. They were on their way to go a cute cafe, after they had got Rebekah an suitable outfit for the 2000s. She was adorned in a tight white shirt which had spaghetti straps and showed a bit of her cleavage. She had a flowy black skirt on with black heels on. Leonora had brushed her hair out for her and allowed the short soft curls to flow down to her shoulders.

Only girl in the world
Like I'm the only one that's in command
'Cause I'm the only one who understands
How to make you feel like a man, yeah

Leonora accelerated, making the car speed down the road as Rebekah laughed and opened up the window - laying her torso out of it. "Oh my god, Rebekah. Look. It's Klaus." Leonora looked to the of the road and saw Klaus walking on the pathway, angered. Rebekah looked and saw her brother. "Throw your shoe at him." Leonora said.

Rebekah laughed and begun to take her shoe off. Leonora sped up and slowed down next to him, allowing Rebekah to throw the shoe. It hit him in the back and he abruptly turned around with an angry expression. "Hello Klaus! Bye Klaus!" Leonora shouted while speeding away from him as Rebekah laughed in his face.

Want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world
Like I'm the only one that you'll ever love
Like I'm the only one who knows your heart
Only one

The two of them stepped out the car outside the cafe, about to step in. But before they could, Leonora's phone begun to buzz. She looked at Rebekah before getting it out.

From Klaus: Be a good girl and walk out of that cafe.

Leonora looked up from her phone and started to pan around, looking for a familiar hybrid. "What? Why did your heartbeat sky-rocket?" Rebekah questioned. She looked to the blonde beside her and walked out of the cafe. "We should go to the warehouse." Rebekah began to argue. "But we got got here."

She was still looking around as she replied. "I know but theres a surprise far better for you there. Cmon." She began to drag Rebekah to the car and assisted her in the passengers side. As she was walking to her side, her phone buzzed.

From Klaus: You're so gorgeous when you're frightened.

She turned off her phone and walked to the driver seat, beginning to drive. "So what's the surprise? Do you think I'll like it?" Rebekah questioned, looming at Leonora's side profile. "I have a feeling you'll enjoy it." She said as the girls arrived at the warehouse.

The two girls got out of the car and making their way to the warehouse. Leonora was a bit nervous to step foot in there considering Klaus's past texts made her adrenaline spike. They walked in and saw Klaus leaning against a coffin with his arms crossed.

They made eye contact and Klaus slowly smirked to her, looking her up and down. Leonora, not knowing how to handle it, looked away and allowed the siblings to talk while she adjusted her tie a few metres away.

When Rebekah suddenly sped away and came back with the dagger that was forced into her chest 90 years ago. "Go to hell Nik!" She stabbed him in the same spot as he did all those years ago. He just simply groaned and took it out, showing Rebekah that he is superior. "Don't pout. You know it wouldn't kill me."

"Yeah but I was hoping it would hurt more." Rebekah began to walk back to her friends side. Klaus followed his sister and saw her with his obsession. "I understand that you're upset with me, Rebekah. So I'm gonna let that go, just this once. I brought you a little peace offering." He turned away and said a little louder. "You can come in."

Leonora watched by Klaus's side as Rebekah left their side and slowly walked to Stefan, in adored shock. "Stefan." Klaus walked to Stefan's side and compelled his memory back.

Stefan closed his eyes with a sudden memory, and opened them with familiarity when he looked towards the siblings. "Rebekah." He slowly walked towards her in a new liking.

Klaus glanced towards the silent time-traveller at his side before calling out. "Stefan." Leonora looked at Klaus in disbelief, only he would ruin a reunion.

"I remember you." Stefan said after observing Klaus for a couple of seconds. "We were friends." Klaus walked closer to Stefan. "We are friends." He put his hand on Stefan's shoulder.

Leonora felt like she was intruding a reunion despite Klaus ruining it. She watched Klaus eye Rebekah with purpose. "Now the reason you're here. Gloria tells me you know how to contact the Original witch."

Rebekah looked to Leonora pulling a mocking face at her, before looking to her brother. "'The Original Witch." Klaus made her focus come back to him with a deadly look. "Do you have what Gloria needs?"

Rebekah scoffed at him before bringing a hand up to her bare neck. Her bare neck. She became alarmed and looked towards Leonora. "Where's my necklace? Did I have it on me when I woke?" Leonora shook her head, knowing she would have noticed it. Rebekah turned to her older brother. "What did you do with it? I never take it off!"

Klaus said. "I don't know. I didn't touch it." He looked to the other two before focusing back on Rebekah. "Tell me that's not what she needs. Tell me that's not what she needs Rebekah!" Klaus grabbed his sister and shook her, screaming at her.

Leonora held up a hand and Klaus was positioned next to Stefan, stuck in place. "Give the girl a break, she just woke up for gods sake." She turned to Rebekah who was searching her coffin. "Rebekah, you didn't have it on when you woke up. It won't be in there."

"Leonora! Stop this!" Klaus shouted at her. "Where is it Leonora! It's not in here!" Both the siblings began to shout for her, one in anger and another in desperation. Rebekah screamed as she flipped her coffin upside down.

Leonora begun to think of the last place she could of seen it. But she had either never seen it, or not deemed it important enough to store it in her mind. Rebekah continued to scream. "Leonora! I want my necklace back, where is it!" Looking towards the two males, she saw Klaus still held in place but no longer with an angry expression, more annoyed. And Stefan looked to be deep in thought.

Halting Rebekah's movements like her brother, she calmly said to her. "Rebekah." Once she had gained her attention, she continued. "What's shouting going to do? Bring it back?" Rebekah looked at her innocently, before replying. "No."

"Exactly. So, what we are going to do is allow you to adapt to the 21st century before we find another solution. Okay? Okay."

Rebekah looked happy, whereas Klaus and Stefan looked irritated. "Why does she need to adapt?"

Leonora looked to Klaus in disbelief. "Probably because she's been in a box for 90 years. But, what do I know. Not like I'm the one with dead siblings or anything..."She trailed off walking away with Rebekah in tow. When they were a good distance away she let Klaus out of her magic hold.

And within a second she felt his presence behind her.

   【--------------】

Leonora, Klaus and Stefan were sitting on chair outside of a dressing room as Rebekah tries on clothing. The males were drink alcohol, whereas Leonora had a book in her hand she had teleported a couple minutes prior.

"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah said, raising her voice a little so Leonora can hear. Klaus chuckled from beside the time-traveller, nudging his knees with hers and making her loose focus. "There's not." He replied to Rebekah, still nudging Leonora.

She looked at Klaus with a glare. "A thousand years old and you still act like a toddler." Klaus chuckled. "Only 39 years old and you act like a grandma." Stefan chuckled while Leonora gasped in offence.

"You're the one who needs immortality to look young. I am a human and I look 18." She raised her eyebrows at him, nudging him back. Klaus looked to her in a 'are you serious' look. "You can control time, you're probably slowing your aging or something." He said in guess as he didn't completely understand how her abilities work.

Leonora looked to him with a sly smile. "Incorrect." She went back to reading. Rebekah came out with a short black dress on that had a necklace which reached down to her cleavage. "So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then?"

Leonora, without looking up said. "Oi." Rebekah chuckled and looked to suited girl. "Not you, love. You dress like a school girl."

She once again looked up from her book offended. "Oh, that's right, is it? I look like a school girl but Elijah looks like a businessman. Double standards."

Rebekah laughed at Leonora's face, Klaus joining in once seeing it. "Well, you do wear knee-high socks, love." Klaus said, while playing with the top of her sock. She turned to him. "They keep me warm."

"You know I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." Rebekah bitterly said.

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing." Klaus inputted, earning a jab from Leonora. "It's America. You expect females to be wearing winter scarfs?" Klaus put his arms up in surrender but ended up with one of his arms resting on the seat Leonora was on.

"And what is music? This music sounds like a cable car accident." Rebekah once again complained. "It's dance music." Stefan explained.

The blonde looked to him with concerned questioning. "People dance to this?" To which she earnt a nod from him. "I don't get why you're complaining Rebekah. You loved it in the car." Leonora said, flicking the page.

"Because that was bearable. This? This is, ugh." She pretended to gag making Leonora laugh.

"Are we done?" Klaus impatiently said, now with his arm resting against Leonora's shoulders and playing with her hair. Rebekah eyed her brother playing with her friends hair and smiled before looking to him. "And why are you so grumpy?"

"Because I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids were dying." Klaus said impatiently.

Leonora looked to Klaus. "You know, if you had let me try, you'd already have hybrids by now." Stefan looked to her in alarm. "No!" All three heads turned to him, wondering why the sudden panic. "No. I mean, Gloria's a natural witch, her's would be more efficient." At the end of his words, he received a deadly look from Klaus, making him close his mouth.

Leonora looked to Stefan with offence, seemed everyone decided to pick on her today. "I'm going to ignore the dig at my magic and say that Gloria is not natural witch. And she is definitely not using herbs to slow down the aging."

Klaus, Rebekah and Stefan looked to Leonora in confusion. "But she said..?" She cut Stefan off. "Don't be so naive. She's using black magic to stay 'young'," She said, waving her hands about. "And she comes at me for my magic." She rolled her eyes, muttering to herself in annoyance.

Klaus recognised the anger in her eyes and pulled her closer, knowing all about the feeling of judgement. He whispered in her ear. "Calm down, love. Your magic is much more alluring than natural anyway."

She nodded, hyping herself up, before going back to her book but not moving away from her place practically in Klaus's hold.

Klaus looked back to his sister after making sure the time-traveller was calm and comfortable. "I needed one thing from you and you lost it." Rebekah scoffed. "I didn't loose it. It's just been missing for 90 years."

"Maybe she wouldn't of lost it if you didn't dagger her." Leonora said to Klaus, without looking up. "I didn't loose it." Rebekah said, raising her voice a bit to emphasise her point.

She turned to Stefan and asked. "So, what do you think?" She twirled for him. Stefan gave a straight smile and said. "I like it."

Leonora shook her head at his obvious lie. She looked up at the dress and grimaced slightly at the look of it.

Rebekah scoffed and pulled a judging face and Stefan, making him quick to defend himself. "What? I said I like it."

"I can always tell when you're lying Stefan." She grumpily went back into the dressing room. Leonora laughed along with Klaus and said. "Well done." As Klaus said. "Nice one. Good work."

Stefan argued back. "You're the one that pulled the dagger out of her." His words invoked a shout from Rebekah from behind the curtain. "I heard that!" Stefan, seeing where he's defeated stood up and began to walk away while saying. "I'm gonna get some fresh air."

After Stefan left, Rebekah came back out of the curtain with a dress in her hand and threw it to Leonora. She was smacked in the face with the dress and looked up annoyed at Rebekah. "Really?"

"Put it on. I've only ever seen you in that darn suit, it's like having Elijah around." She said. Leonora rolled her eyes and shook her head before throwing it back to her. Rebekah began to whine. "Oh come on Leo! It's one dress. Please?"

Klaus, seeing that she wasn't going to budge tapped her shoulder. "It is one dress. What's the harm?" He rhetorically asked, smiling innocently at her. Leonora sighed, leaning her head back and onto Klaus's arm before standing up. And snatching the dress from Rebekah's hands with a glare. Rebekah began to clap excitedly.

She took off her suit and put on the dress. The dress was a soft pastel pink and had built in breast cups which were covered with a beautiful lacey pattern. The straps were normal sized but had a bow, so that the ribbons hung off her shoulders. It was tight around the bust and waist before travelling down to just above her knees, where her skirt usually lay.
Her hair ran down her back in soft brown waves and complimented the dress beautifully.

"Rebekah my boobs are practically spilling out." She said in a normal tone, knowing that they could hear. "Just come out!" Rebekah's shout came.

She walked out of the curtain and into the Originals sights. Rebekah looked at her with a big smile across her face as she gasped at the dress. She stood up and twirled Leonora, making the skirt fly around her. "Oh, you've always been beautiful. But this dress, wow." Leonora smiled shyly under her gaze before turning to look at Klaus.

As soon as Leonora stepped out the curtain, Klaus's eyes were full of lust and desire. He eyed her as she was twirled in Rebekah's arms. She was right, her chest left no need for the imagination as the dress complimented to her size. To him, she looked like a goddess. She was utterly intoxicating, and Klaus would happily indulge in the depths of her poisons if it meant looking at the absolute divine entity that stood in front of him.

She felt warmth fill her cheeks and stomach at the intense gaze she was under by the hybrid. But she ignored the emotion, not wanting to associate with it.

"You look utterly ethereal, my love." Klaus complimented, getting up and saying. "That's why I'm going to get it for you." Leonora began to argue but Klaus wasn't having it. "No buts love, except yours, we are going to get you that dress." Leonora sighed in defeat and teleported back into the dressing room.

She walked out clad in her suit and more in her comfort zone as she put the dress in Klaus's expending hand. "After this, we are going to see Gloria." The girls nodded and walked behind him, linking their arms together.

Leonora looked up from her place beside Gloria as Stefan walked in. "You left us." Rebekah complained, while sitting on top of the bar.

"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode." He came beside Leonora's side. "Tell me about it." Klaus piqued up in irritation.

Stefan nudged Leonora and asked. "What's she doing?" However before she could reply, Klaus's grumbling got there before her. "She's failing." Leonora turned to Stefan to properly explain. "She's looking for the necklace."

She watched as Stefan's eyes widened before resuming to its previous state, his reaction only further encouraged her suspicions. "Hard to find something without anything to go on."

Leonora sighed, sick of the witch. "Use Rebekah, she wore it for a thousand years." Gloria looked to her in a slight disgust before motioning Rebekah to come forth. "Any good witch would know that." She mocked Gloria. Klaus silently laughed at the girl, loving her hidden fire.

Now, Leonora was not at all a confronting person. Nor was she one to get easily angered, however Gloria rubbed her the wrong way with all her black magic voodoo and her obvious - atleast to Leonora, attitude towards the vampires.

She watched as Gloria held Rebekah's hands and focused. "I can sense something." She looked to Gloria in curiosity. The witch suddenly jerked back and let go of Rebekah. She turned to the four of them and said. "I found it." While specifically eyeing Stefan, which Leonora noted.

"So where is it?" Rebekah questioned. Gloria just shook her head. "It doesn't work like that doll. I get images, there's a girl with her friends." Rebekah once again cut her off. "Yes, a dead girl with dead friends. If I don't get my necklace."

"Well I have to dive back in to get the details." Gloria explained, trying to save her skin from the angered Original. "So dive." Klaus came forth. However Gloria wasn't pushing. "I need more time. And space." She said as Klaus leant next to her.

"I can give you both of those. If you want that is." Leonora mockingly offered, knowing Gloria was disgusted by her. "No. You're not needed." The 'natural' witch said, making Leonora smile to herself.

Gloria looked to Klaus and said. "You're harshing my ju-ju." Klaus didn't leave though. "We can wait." He began to smirk at Gloria with a hidden desire to kill.

Stefan, seeing this and also wanting to keep the location of the necklace hidden, put his hand to Klaus's shoulder and said. "Hey, hey, you know. Why don't we just come back later. I'm hungry anyway, I'll let you pick who we eat."

The three vampires left the bar, Leonora stayed back a bit - not wanting to see their 'feeding time'. She sat to herself as the vampires had her fun. But she eventually got bored and teleported herself a book that she's already read. "My girls dead, I'm bored." Rebekah complained.

Leonora smacked the book down on the crate she was sitting upon, gaining the attention of the Originals and said. "You know what Rebekah. So am I." Referring to the fact that she's human and had to sit around with the stench of death around her.

However, Klaus ignored the two girls and turned to Stefan. "You weren't kidding about being hungry."

"It's been a long day." Stefan said, still with his vampire face out. Klaus chuckled and gestured to Rebekah. "Try being related to her."

Rebekah looked to Leonora before back to the boys and said. "You're being mean." Stefan laughed at Klaus, making Rebekah turn to him. "Why are you being mean? You use to love me."

"It's been 90 years Rebekah. Give him a minute." Klaus said, defending his old friend. Leonora still continued to pay mind to the vampires - a bit fed up with sitting there and doing nothing.

"Why are you taking his side?" Rebekah questioned her brother, walking over to the time-traveller and sitting next to her. "Because, sister, I feel pity for any man who doesn't give you what you want." Klaus insulted Rebekah.

"Will you stop making me out to be a brat! I am not a brat!" Rebekah raised her voice at her brother. Stefan and Leonora exchanged annoyed looks, both equally frustrated with the situation. "A thousand years of life experience says otherwise..." Klaus trailed on, looking to Stefan, who laughed with Klaus.

Before Stefan turned on him and said. "Well, you're no picnic either. I've only spent one summer with you and I feel like I want to blow my head off." Rebekah laughed at Klaus's smile instantly disappearing at Stefan's words.

Klaus directed his teasing towards the silent time-traveller. "I mean, don't even get him started on little miss intelligent over there." All eyes turned to Leonora who just looked to the hybrid for a second before saying. "A thousand years and you still can't see the obvious?" She quickly glanced at Stefan which they all caught.

Stefan, quickly got up and walked away. Not wanting his secret to be outed. "I need to go." Rebekah looked to Leonora in question. "What did you mean by that?"

However, Leonora just continued to look at Klaus, who was meeting her gaze, and had a knowing look of her face. Which made him wonder. What exactly did she know?

Leonora stood up and brushed her skirt off. "Well, I'm going on a walk." She began to walk when she felt a presence following behind her. "Go away Klaus."

She heard a chuckle and then a shoulder nudging hers, she turned to see Klaus looking forward while walking. "I've been meaning to ask you something." She turned back forward again and said. "Elaborate."

She heard him sigh before his questioning came in. "When we were in the smokey mountains, you said you gained your powers through experimentation."

Leonora nodded, knowing where the conversation was going. "I was." She shortly replied. Klaus turned to face her but kept walking alongside her. "Who did it?" His tone has underlying anger and she also turned towards him to see and fury-filled expression on his face. "My father."

As soon as she said those words, Klaus halted walking. He knew all about the terrors and nightmares that came with an abusive father. It was one of the reasons why he kept his siblings in boxes - because his father had been hunting him down for centuries. His father was his greatest enemy and greatest fear. Having confirmation that the beautiful girl next to him,  faced the same torment and mental destruction as he did made him want to rip the world apart with his bare hands until he found the monster who did it to her.

"Your father experimented on you?" Leonora nodded, and added to his statement. "Since I was 11, he'd been injecting me with Radon. Now, let's go check on Gloria." She pushed away the subject, not trusting Klaus to not use it against her.

The two walked in silence the rest of the way to Gloria's which was quite a walk aways. The back of their hands brushed a couple of times but neither acted on it as neither knew what they were feeling. Let alone, want.

They walked into Gloria's bar to see the place empty, not a witch in sight. "Where is she?" Klaus asked, walking towards the bathrooms and shouting her name. Leonora leaned against a booth with her arms crossed.  Klaus began to scream and he pushed the glasses over the floor in anger. "Where is she! She was supposed to be here!"

He looked to Leonora, who was calm and silent. "You know something. Spit it out." He walked up to her, getting close to her face to try and intimidate her. "Look at who you're talking to before you continue." She calmly said, uncrossing her arms and standing so she gained atleast some pride against the hybrid.

She saw his eyes soften, and he then asked calmly. "Love, what do you know?" She nodded before looking around the place. "I knew that she hated you." Klaus genuinely looked confused at her words. "But I've known her for decades, she's been my witch for some time."

She rolled her eyes and walked away from him and beginning to sweep up the smashed glass with her foot. "She's a witch. Like Stefan said, a natural one at that. Which means she's a servant of nature, you being the biggest one of all, she'd let hell freeze over before she willingly helped you without benefits."

Klaus groaned and brushed a hand through his hair, before annoyingly asking. "And you didn't tell me, because?"

She turned around to look at him, both of them were opposite sides of the bar but only saw eachother. "I did, multiple times. Indirectly, but given your experience I expected you to understand." She walked towards him, standing inches away from him before looking in his eyes and softly saying. "If she didn't like me, she wouldn't of liked you. Were both abominations, remember?"

Klaus looked to her with soft eyes as she carried his pain and sorrow of being a so called 'abomination'. By her words, Klaus saw it as an understanding, a relating. The knowledge that they have both defied all the laws and are unknown and deadly creatures, it empowers him. Knowing he had someone who understood him.

"Now. We are going to go back to Rebekah and Stefan, okay?" Klaus silently nodded and turned around but her voice sounded out before he could leave. "Klaus." He softly turned back to her, without saying anything - she understood. "Stefan is hiding something from you. I don't know what, but all I know is that." She sighed and Klaus walked closer to her, holding her chin in his hand. "What is it, little star?"

"The necklace, Rebekah's necklace. He gave it to Elena."

At her words, Klaus looked to her in realisation. He let go of her before speeding away, leaving her all alone in the bar.

Leonora brushed a hand through her hair, debating whether or not it was a good idea to out Stefan and evidently Elena like that. She had known the Originals since she'd turn 18, whereas she had personally known the 'save-Elena gang' only for a few years. And even then, she was only ever close to Bonnie and occasionally Stefan. She was always brushed aside and ignored. She told them Elijah is trustworthy, they daggered him. She told them Klaus was occupying Alaric's body, they called her crazy. Elena was willing to sell her out to get the attention of Klaus. She was willing to offer up her and Bonnie to be the ones to take on Klaus to save HER life. She was practically kidnapped by Elijah after the sacrifice and no one cared.

Leonora no longer felt guilt for people she was never close to. However she felt a pang of shame within herself for offering up the innocents that may be affected by Klaus's anger. Just because she didn't feel guilt, doesn't mean she's going to be heartless.

She teleported into the warehouse to Rebekah's explanation. "He was asking about Mikael." Stefan looked to Leonora in alarm. "He's not with us Nik. I can sense it."

Stefan scoffed. "She's wrong. Leonora, tell them." All eyes turned to her, this was the decision she had to make. "Tell them what? That you gave the necklace to Elena and is hiding her survival from them?"

Stefan looked to her in shock and betrayal, that shock and betrayal soon turned to anger. He sped towards her and began to choke her with his hand around her neck.

Leonora groaned as her back was slammed against the wall and held the hands that blocked off her air-flow. She didn't bother trying to get him off, knowing one of the Original's would do it for her. And because she didn't want to hurt her friend. "I trusted you!"

Stefan was ripped away and was held in a deathly grip, his heart being clenched in the almighty hybrids hands. "You didn't trust me with anything. I had to figure it out myself." Leonora said, being held by Rebekah as the vampire inspected the bruises on her neck.

After her words, Klaus took his hand out of Stefan's chest and snapped his neck, he didn't talk, he just carried him to the truck and carelessly threw him in it.

"Are you alright, protector?" Rebekah's soft voice sounded next to her, she looked and saw Rebekah's concerned gaze. "Yeah, I'm alright." She smiled at Rebekah and the two sat next to Stefan, Rebekah constantly snapping his neck on the journey.

Rebekah and Leonora switched seats with Klaus as he wanted to have a word with Stefan. Before he could enter, Leonora's voice called him. "Don't hurt him too much, okay? He was just protecting his family." Klaus looked to her with no emotion whatsoever, she didn't know if he agreed to her words or if he completely disregarded them. But she was glad she told him.

By the time Klaus had opened the back truck doors, Leonora had joined them.

"Welcome back to Mystic Falls Stefan, Leonora."

Scarlet side notes:
So, more of Klaus and Leonora's dynamic. I had to remember to not completely jump into their relationship as I want it to be suspenseful and exploring as neither of them have experienced a love like theirs will be.

Also, do you think it was a good decision to team her onto the Originals so soon? I might try to interrupt her back into the scooby gang just for funsies.
