Suddenly a sharp jolt shoved the bus and it flew back into another one. I had to dig my claws in to keep from tumbling over the side.

"Demonstrating for me again?" I hissed sarcastically, recognising the blue glow of the weapon.

"What where you doing with the kid?" The shocker asked in a gruff voice, ignoring my previous comment.

"What?" I teased and began to stand upright again. "I'm a social creature."

"You know what they say." He mumbled, I could hear the crackling of electricity as his fist began firing up again. "Curiosity killed the cat." He clambered up the side of the bus in my blindspot. Shocker cried out as he lunged for me, planting an electrical fist in my side. I flew backwards from the sheer force of it all, landing on the schools brick wall next to the fire escape.

I yowled in pain as I slid to the ground, feet planting first obviously. Suddenly Peter burst through the door, dressing in something silly.

"What's with the crappy costume, spidey?" I grumbled and he looked at my kneeling form, hunched over the ground.

"Kitty?" Shocker lunged forward while Peter was distracted, launching him to the floor in the same way I was blasted back.

"What's with the crappy costume?" He asked and I rolled my eyes, getting up and skilfully not making a sound as I strolled behind him. "I know right?" I sneered and he turned around, only to see the bottom of my built in heel as I sent a kick to his face.

"That's gotta hurt!" I announced when his head whipped back around, revealing a completely busted lip. He tried to punch me again but this time I ducked under it and his fist collided with another bus.

For Peter that sucked, I watched from afar as his body ricocheted off a different bus then back to us. Shocker charged forward to deliver another blow to him but instead I leaped in front, taking the punch in his place.

I yelped as I flew through the back of a bus, glass shattering around me before I collided with the floor, completely out of breath. It didn't matter, adrenaline pulsed through my veins and I shook it off in a matter of seconds, only to come out and watch Peter crawl out of a Peter-sized hole in another bus.

I dove forward for his web shooter, which had been discarded on the floor. As quickly as I could, I raised it up and fired, getting the shockers electric bars webbed.

"Nice shot!" Peter chuckled and I grinned back at him then looked down at the device in my hand. Peter must have tugged down on it, as it flew out of my grasp and back to him.

I watched, slightly impressed as he proceeded to disarm shocker and web him to the bus. Peter ran back over to me. "You've got to go, I need to call mister Stark." Peter blurted out and I arched a brow.

"Damn." I sighed, yet smirked. "I was hoping they'd make me an avenger for saving your buggy ass." I leaned in as I said it but Peter eventually shook his head.

"I'm serious. Unless you finally feel like being caught, you'll run." He told me before swinging on to a nearby lamppost. I shrugged but ran straight after him until I bumped into a familiar silver car.

"Kitty. I'm going to need the car." I told flash, sliding off his bonnet in a somewhat seductive tone.

"Uh- this is my Dad's car so-." I shook my head and leaned over the door to pet his.

"Please?" I pouted. "I'm usually good at giving things back." He groaned but just like that, I had the car.

Immediately I put the pedal to the metal, gears grinding as I spun around the bend and followed after Peter, who continued swinging his way to wherever he was going, balancing his phone in between his chin and shoulder as he did so.

After a while of speeding, Peter suddenly turned right. I panicked, twisting the wheel as fast as I could but it wasn't enough. The car bumped on the curve at full speed and almost flipped completely. It continued to drive for a while along the brick wall but eventually skidded to a stop.

I hugged before clambering out of the driver seat to continue my pursuit. Small major setback but I would make it work. I preferred to be fashionably late anyways.

It was obvious I was falling behind, sure I was fast but the speed he maintained while swinging was insane. I was almost convinced I had lost him, until a cloud of dust escaped a nearby parking lot.

My head snapped round and I immediately sped up. He had to be here.

"Hello!" A gut wrenching scream came from the pile of rubble and my heart plummeted. "Hello!" It cried out again and I sprinted forward once more.

"Hey! Hey!" I yelled back from Peter. He was completely covered. "Spidey?" I questioned and he groaned, pulling the mask off his mouth to get more in his lungs.

"Please, hey." He sobbed and I crouched down by his side.

"I'm stuck. I can't move. I can't—." He sobbed over his words and I looked him in the eye. "I know your a bad guy, but Black Cat please." He begged me and I shook my head.

"You really think I'm that bad?" I scoffed and stretched back up again, ready to get to work on moving the pile of rubble. "Come on." I mumbled before tapping on the palms of my claws, switching the setting to the extremely useful suction one, which helped me get to him right away.

Peter began to strain against the weight, grunting as he did so. I had only piled away around half of the rubble, so was astounded when he miraculously started to stand up. "Holy shit!" I laughed as he cried out.

"Gun shows over." I grumbled as Peter threw the lower half of his mask back on and immediately spotting hawk guy, who was temporarily perched on a billboard. As fast as he could, Peter webbed the sign and grabbed me tightly around the waist before pulling us forward.

I squealed, looking down at the drop below us, then back up to the hawk man, who had unfortunately just taken off. Peter didn't hesitate to web us again, this time to the guy.

I screamed as we whipped around when vulture guy turned. For a moment I chocked on the dust of the clouds as he continued to pull us higher, hot on the invisible jet's tail. Unintentional tears streamed down my face, due to the speed we were travelling at. I subconsciously shivered and Peter noticed, quietly drawing me closer.

Turns out exposing Catsuits are not the warmest thing.

The man disappeared into the plane and this time Peter screamed as his web was snapped. I clung on the him for dear life as he stuck to the underside of the jet, kicking the metal vulture had left behind to stay hung on.

"Spidey I swear to god, if you drop me I'll kill you!" I screeched from his arms.

"You'll already be dead." He reminded me and I shook my head before berrying it back into his chest, still fuming. Suddenly the metal transformed back into the intimidating vulture suit and I looked around frantically as it circled us like prey. Didn't the guy know what a cat's favourite snack was.

Eventually the dude flew past, too close to the plane. While he scratched through the side of the plane, I took the opportunity to flip onto his back. "Crazy cat bitch!" He yelled at me, spinning to try and get me off. I dug my claws in to the machinery to cling on as tight as I could, tilting on his back to turn him towards the propeller. He got stuck there for a minute, jolting as chunks of his wing got caught in the spinning metal.

I flung off of him as the fan's hold on the man was released and he was flung forwards. As I flew through the air, I felt the cold of a web on my wrist and looked around to see Peter, attaching me to the wing. "Spidey! What are yo-." I began to protest.

"If you want to live, you'll hang tight." He shouted down at me, reminding me of the drop I swung over which I dreaded looking at. When I looked back up, eyes widened, Peter and the propeller were both missing and instead hanging on to the plane by threads like me.

I watched as the fan began it's decent to land and shuddered at the thought of me doing the same.

It didn't take long for the Vulture to swoop back in, gliding along the top of the plane and slashing it further with his wing as he did so. He turned back around and stopped, cutting his wings into the metal that formed the top of the jet.

"Spiderman!" I called out, noticing the city below us starting to get brighter and bigger. He quickly webbed the opposite wing and I dangled further  as the plane tilted. The web he was using snapped and he flung himself forward with the momentum, landing above me.

"Kitty!" He shouted down at me, urging me to climb up and take his now outstretched hand. I didn't look back at the large red tower we were getting closer and closer to, until Peter had pulled me up.

The wing sliced through said tower as soon as I was back on the wing, barely decreasing the speed we were crashing at. Peter pulled me close and I squeezed him back as we braced for impact.

When it hit the ground, the jet shook violently and Peter clung on for a moment longer, before launching across the ground. I couldn't help but flip off of him, and jump back like on a gymnastics beam when I landed unscathed on both my feet.

Peter lay by my feet and I rushed to kneel beside him. He emitted small grunts of protest as I began to tug his mask off. I wouldn't pay any attention to his identity, but he didn't know that. Peter sighed when I eventually freed his face, shooting himself upright for a moment. I quickly grabbed his weakened body as it began to sway from either fatigue or head rush.

"Slowly, okay Spidey?" I told him, arching a brow and he nodded, using me as I crutch to stumble to his feet, he took a couple steps away from me before the Vulture returned out of thin fire, immediately taking me out.

"Kitty!" Peter cried out as I tumbled backwards into the sand. The Psyco of a man was fast in getting back up and grabbing my neck with a claw. Exhausted enough already, I resorted to banging on the metal in protest as he began to lift me into the sky.

Before he could let go, I dug a claw deep into the mechanical foot, causing sparks to fly. He tried to shake me off, but I flipped over a shoulder, sending a kick to his helmet as I came back around. As I was falling he grabbed into me again, with both feet. I was stuck face down, staring at the scraps I was pounded into repeatedly, until the man finally let me go.

Peter didn't hesitate to run toward me but his shirt was hooked by the ends of a metal feather and he hung in the air as the vulture examined him. After a second or two, he simply dropped him, more amused by a nearby crate and Peter slumped into the sand.

I looked around from Peter to watch the man try to take off with the thing, blue sparks flew from his half limp wings and my eyes widened. "Your wing suit! Your wing suit's going to explode!" I shouted out, alerting Peter, who slowly raised a battered arm to point at the crate. As he began to tug, the whirring of the wings increased and I couldn't help but cringe at the struggle. "Time to go home, Pete." The vulture shouted, when he turned around to face us.

"I'm trying to save you!" Peter yelled back at the man, who used his wing to cut the strained web. The whirring got louder and louder as he tried to get higher and I ducked for cover as blue sparks exploded into the close sky.

"No. No!" I could hear Peter mumble to himself and I poked my head up.

"That's unlucky." I didn't hesitate to add as Peter ignored me to run towards the pile of flames the vulture had created. He was quick to run in and no I could no longer watch his desperate attempt at freeing the psychopath, who had just attempted to murder the both of us.

After a short while, two figures emerged from the fire and I shot to my feet. Peter had carried the man out of his burning grave and collapsed whith effort alongside him. They both coughed vigorously and I took the opportunity to loom over the vulture slightly, cocking a brow.
