The next day I felt way better than I last did but I wasn't allowed to train so I felt a bit bored but I felt happy because I got to hang out with Choso.
"Ow! Y/n wait" Choso said while reaching for my hands. "Stop!" I said while lightly slapping his hand away and continuing to brush his hair. "Okay I'm done brushing your hair now!" I said.
"That hurt!" Choso said while frowning. "Because it was tangled! Your hairs pretty Choso..." I said while touching it. He just silently smiled at me as I started braiding the front of his hair.
"Thanks Choso" I said. "For what?" He asked. "For being nice to me.... Even though you barely knew me you immediately saw me as your sister.... so I love you" I said while smiling.
Choso gave me a surprised look. "Im gonna put these in your hair now!" I said while holding up a few ribbons. I stopped when I saw tears in his eyes. My eyes widened. "Choso?" I said while giving him a worried look.
He just hugged me and continued crying. "Uh- Choso again!?" I looked to see Yuji. "I'm sorry! Itadori! She said she loves me!" Choso cried. I gave Yuji and Choso a panicked look.
"I'm sorry!" I said eyes wide. "It's okay Y/n you didn't do anything wrong" Choso said while wiping his eyes. "Listen Shoko wants you to get some time outside so go to the field the 2nd years are there" Yuji said.
I nodded. "Bye Choso!" I said while smiling. I stopped when he started crying again. "It's okay Y/n come on we'll see you later" Yuji said. I just left the room and went to the field to see the 2nd years there training.
"Hey Y/n!" Yuta said while waving to me. "Hey are you feeling better?" Panda asked. I nodded. "But you still can't train right?" Maki asked. I shook my head. "Mustard leaf" Inumaki said while patting my head.
"Yeah Y/n it's best if you just rest for now" Panda said. I nodded and sat down. I tried to rest when they continued training but it was hard watching other people do something I couldn't.
"Mustard leaf"
My eyes widened and I looked to see Inumaki. "Fish flakes" He said while holding up some money. I immediately got up and followed him. Soon we got to the vending machines and he bought me some snacks.
I started eating happily as we just walked around campus until I got deep in thought. "Inumaki" I said. He looked at me. "Do you ever wish you could talk normally" I asked.
He thought for a moment. "Salmon" Inumaki said. "I can make it so that you can talk without hurting anyone or yourself" I said. He gave me a confused look.
"By taking your technique" I said. He looked to the side. "Please" I said. It took a while of convincing but he finally agreed and went to his room. I looked at Inumaki and felt chills as I saw the markings on his mouth disappear.
"Come on!" I said while rocking back and forth impatiently. "What do you want me to say?" Inumaki asked. My eyes widened at him.
'This is weird is that how people felt when I started talking?' I thought. "Y/n you're staring" Inumaki said. "Oh sorry" I said while looking away. "It's because my voice is ugly right?" Inumaki said.
I stopped eyes wide. "Wow I see how it is" He said while shaking his head at me. "N-no! it's not!" I said. "It's okay I was just joking" He said. "Woah.... You make jokes?" I asked.
"I'm not a robot" He said. "Yeah I know that!" I said. "Should you be using your powers I mean... aren't you sick" Inumaki said. "It's fine... I wish I could train..." I said while looking down.
"It's not that bad if you need a break from training and even if aren't you happy you can hang out with everyone else more instead?" He asked. "I mean everyone's really busy... so I don't really get to stay with them much anyway" I said.
"But I want to train because I want to be stronger so next time I see Sukuna or Kenjaku I can kill them" I said. Inumaki' s eyes widened a bit. "You want to kill them?" He asked.
"Yeah don't you want to?" I asked. "I mean yeah but... it's different when you want to" Inumaki said. I gave him a confused look. "We just.... Well we want you to be safe... so it's best to keep you as far from them as possible" Inumaki said.
"Yeah I know that's why I'm rotating between home and jujutsu" I said. Inumaki looked like he wanted to say something but didn't. "Can I see Gojo now?" I asked.
"No not yet" Inumaki said. I sighed. "I haven't even seen him since yesterday afternoon... and we were supposed to go back home.... He just stayed here so he could work" I said while frowning.
"Just... think about it like how Gojo went on a business trip.... That was okay right" He said. "But it's not the same... I used to stay with Megumi when Gojo went on business trips and Gojo would at least call me" I said.
Inumaki deadpanned. "I'm bad at this... maybe I should stop talking" He said while putting his hands in his face. "No! It's okay y-you're right it's just that Gojo was gone for a really long time so I don't like being away from him for too long... but what about you? Are you okay?" I asked.
Inumaki pointed at himself in confusion. "Yeah you. Who else would I be talking about?" I said. He shrugged. "I mean I just... feel bad about Shibuya because everyone got hurt like Maki but besides me almost losing my arm I'm fine... do you feel that way sometimes?" Inumaki asked.
"Not really because I'm used to healing... there's nothing I can really do about it unlike anyone else if I get my hand cut off or something I can just reattach it or it'll grow back... but even if you shouldn't want to be hurt just be happy nothing happened to you" I said.
He nodded. I looked at my phone when it started ringing. "It's Gojo!" I said before answering the phone. "Hey Y/n can you come to Shoko's office" Gojo said. "Okay!" I said before hanging up.
"Come on I'll take you" Inumaki said. I put my hands out to him and he picked me up. I smiled and nuzzled my face into his shirt. "Hey Inumaki you should talk to everyone else" I said.
"Actually... I don't want anyone to know" Inumaki said. I blinked. "Why?" I asked. "I just like talking to you so please don't tell anyone" He said. I nodded. "Okay see you!" I said before going into the office.
"Wait Y/n!" Inumaki said. I stopped. "Yeah?" I said. "My technique" He said. "Oh!" I said. I looked at him and watched as the markings appeared on his face. He waved to me and I waved back before going into the office.
I went down the hall and peeked into one of the rooms and immediately ran up to Gojo and hugged him. "Woah! Looks like you're feeling better right?" He said while looking at my face.
"Yeah you look better too" Shoko said. I stopped when I noticed another person in the room. "Oh this is Hiromi Higuruma! He was with Yuji in Tokyo colony no. 1" Gojo said.
I looked at Hiromi suspiciously. "So what happened when you met Yuji? Did you fight?" I asked. "Well I guess you could say tha-" I cut him off by throwing a box of bandages at him.
"Uh- Y/n!" Gojo said while grabbing my hand. "You will pay for that!" I said while pointing at Hiromi. "Wow she really has spunk... I thought Itadori was just joking" Hiromi said.
"Sorry! She didn't mean that!" Shoko said. "Yes I did! You'll regret hurting Yuji!" I said while trying to attack him. "Hey wait!" Gojo said while trying to stop me as I ran up to Hiromi.
I started punching Hiromi but since I was still sick I guess it didn't really hurt him because I was still too weak. "It's really okay now Itadori and I aren't on bad terms or anything" Hiromi said in a calm manner.
'Why's he not affected by what I'm doing!?' I thought while narrowing my eyes at him. "Where is he by the way he said he wanted to talk to me about something" Hiromi said.
"Don't ignore!" I said while kicking his leg. He just lightly patted my head and I stopped then stared at him for a moment before running back to Gojo.
"You done attacking him now?" Gojo asked. I just gave Hiromi a stoic look before nuzzling my face into Gojo's shirt. "I guess you some how tamed her" Gojo said.
"She seems hungry" Hiromi said. I looked at Shoko and Gojo. "Let's go get you some food" Shoko said. I looked at Gojo expectantly. "It's okay Y/n go with Shoko" Gojo said.
SHOKO'S POV
When we left the room I noticed Y/n seemed upset. "Y/n are you okay? Do you want to wait in the recovery room? I'll bring you food there you don't have to come with me" I said.
Y/n shook her head and kept walking. We got to the lunch room and I got Y/n a snack but I noticed she wasn't eating as we walked back. "Y/n why aren't you eating?" I asked.
She looked down at the bag of brownies before quickly eating. "Uh! Wait don't eat so fast!" I said. She quickly finished the food and started running into the office.
"Y/n slow down" I said while running after her. She went back into the room and looked around then turned to me. "Where's Gojo?" Y/n asked. "I guess he left with Hiromi... they we're gonna go to Gakuganji but I didn't know they would leave this soon" I said.
I stopped when I noticed Y/n was gone. 'How did she...' I thought. I peeked into the recovery room to see Y/n laying down on one of the beds. I looked in confusion.
'What happened... she seemed so energetic before but now it's all down the drain... maybe she needs more rest' I thought.
Y/N'S POV
I ended up staying at Jujutsu overnight again but I couldn't sleep so I got up and went to Gojo's office and of course he was there. I realized he was sleeping and went up to him and shook his shoulder.
He sat up and looked at me tiredly. "Y/n?" Gojo said. "When will I be able to go home" I asked. His eyes widened a bit. "Oh.... I completely forgot..." Gojo said.
I looked down. "I'm sorry Y/n" Gojo said. I just hummed. "Just try to sleep we'll go home in the morning" Gojo said. "I can't..." I said. "Oh well then why don't you sleep with Nobara or Yuji" Gojo said.
"I don't want to stay with them" I said. I looked at Gojo hopefully. "Then stay with one of the 2nd years" Gojo said. I gave him a stoic look for a long moment.
"Come on I'll take you there" Gojo said while putting his hand out towards me. I just looked at his hand before starting to walk to the door. "Okay..." Gojo said while walking with me.
I started speed walking to the office. "Slow down... Why are you walking so fast?" Gojo asked. I just side eyed him and kept walking faster.
My eyes widened when Gojo pulled me back. "Hey are you upset or something?" Gojo asked. "Can we continue going to the dorms I'm tired" I said while giving him a stoic look.
"Okay..." He said. I went to the recovery room and went under the covers. "Hey I thought you couldn't sleep" Gojo said. "Only because you're bothering me" I said.
Gojo gave me a weird look. "Alright.... Good night Y/n" Gojo said. I didn't respond and just turned away in bed. After I heard Gojo soon I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes and looked at my phone to see it was a bit later in the day. I got up and went out of the room and looked around the office but didn't see anyone so I left and went to Yuji's dorm.
I peeked inside but it was empty so I went to Nobara's dorm but it was also empty. I went to the 2nd and 3rd year's dorms but they also weren't there. 'What?' I thought feeling confused.
I kept looking around campus but so far I didn't find anyone not even Shoko or Hana or anyone I would usually see. I went into one of the main buildings and looked around but still didn't see anyone but just when I was about to leave I heard sound coming from one of the meeting rooms.
I went and peeked inside to see everyone having another meeting. "Oh wait Y/n!" Gojo said while getting up. Gakuganji rose his eyebrow at Gojo. "Every meeting it's something different huh" he said.
"Umm..." Gojo said while looking at everyone at the table. "I'll go with Y/n!" Nobara said while raising her hand. "No me!" Yuji said while raising his hand. "Uhhh Ino!" Gojo said while pointing at him.
"Huh me?" Ino said. "Yeah go with Y/n" Gojo said. I frowned a bit at Gojo who just smiled and patted my head. "Don't be bad okay" Gojo said. I just left the room with Ino feeling a bit disappointed that I couldn't stay with Gojo.
"You're doing okay right? After Shibuya and everything Y/n?" Ino asked. I shrugged. "What about you?" I asked. "I'm fine" Ino said. "You don't miss him?" I asked.
"Hm?" Ino hummed in confusion. "Nanamin" I said. Ino paused for a second and I could see he was upset but trying to hide it. I frowned a bit. "Sorry for asking... Forget about the question..." I said feeling kind of guilty for asking.
"No it's okay! I- I do miss him but it wouldn't be fair for you to have to think about everyone else's worries..." Ino said. I blinked at him. "Why?" I asked.
"You're a kid... you should be thinking about other things" Ino said. I looked at him for a moment thinking about what he had just said feeling kind of bothered and confused.
I pointed at his mouth and he looked at me in confusion for a moment. "Oh you're hungry?" He asked. I nodded. "Come on let's go to the lunchroom" he said while waving me over.
As I was eating I kept thinking about what Ino said. 'What should I be thinking about.... What do other kids think about...' I thought in slight confusion. I just shook my head trying to not think of it and started eating.
"Ino..." I said. "Yeah what is it?" He asked. "Can I as you a question?" I asked. "Yeah sure" He said. "What do kids think about?" I asked. Ino blinked at me. "Well when I was a kid I used to think about TV and playing outside I guess... oh and since it's December I probably would've thought about Christmas!" He said.
"Christmas?" I said in confusion. "You don't know what Christmas is!?" Ino said in shock. I shook my head feeling kind of embarrassed. "So basically every year of December 25 a a fat guy in a red suit named Santa delivers presents to kids in their homes if they've been good!" Ino said.
I blinked. "How does he get in the house? And how does he get presents to everyone?" I asked. "Using magic! And he has a sleigh and reindeers that fy him around the world" Ino said.
My eyes widened a bit. "I don't think Santa would come to my home" I said while looking down at my hands. "What? Why?" He asked. "I hurt people... and he only give's presents to good kids right?" I asked.
"That's not your fault... you're a really good kid Y/n so I'm sure he'll give you presents" Ino said. I hummed. "Is that it?" I asked. "No there's way more" he said. Ino kept telling me way more about this Christmas thing and it sounded kind of weird but interesting.
I felt kind of sad I hadn't known about this but didn't think too much about it. "I'm sure you'll get nice presents this year Y/n... don't worry" Ino said. I blinked at him.
For the first time in a while I felt much less lonely.
