Paul comes through the doors in a hurry and runs to me. "Jeremy, Destiny is looking for you!" he says while trying to catch his breath. I got a little worried yet curious about what she wanted. After my rejection from her, I didn't expect her to speak to me so soon. But why is Paul out of breath and worried? Could it be possible she knows our secret hideout? I go up to Paul and ask, "Paul, does Destiny know where we hang out?" He remained speechless. I ask him again and he nodded his head in disappointment. Amy came up to me from behind and said, "Hey Jeremy, lets go to the movies." "Okay, let's leave now," I say while trying to leave before Destiny shows up. I grab her hand and we speed walk out.
We leave the hideout and I hear a sudden "hey" from a distance. I really didn't want to turn around but I did anyway. She comes up and says, "What you up to?" "Going to the movies with.......with....my girlfriend." I tell her nervously. She looks at us and says, "You're with her now?" I respond, "Yeah does it bother you?" She responds shakily, "Bother me? No way. Why would it bother me? We are friends. Do you think I like you or something?" "I really would like to stay here and chat but I have a movie to see." I say with a little more confidence.
As we walk to the movies Amy says, "So I'm your girlfriend now huh?" "Well I mean ugh...." She chuckles, "You're so cute." We approach the movies and go inside. Instead of paying for tickets we secretly went around without anyone seeing. We didn't know what movie to see so we went in a random one.
We sat together while the movie was playing. It was pretty interesting. This girl has cancer and falls in love with this great guy and he's always there for her no matter what. I want to be that guy for someone. I felt someone lye on my arm and I look. Amy is actually leaning her head on my arm. What does this mean? I mean I like her but I never thought I would get this far so quick. I decided not to pay it any mind.
The movie ended and it left her in tears. Me and Amy leave the movies and I walk her home. It was like ten o'clock at night. When we got there she said, "I had a good time Jeremy. Will I see you again?" I smile and say, "You can count on it." She ran up to me and gave me a hug. She then stopped starred into my eyes and leaned in gently and kissed me for two seconds. When she stopped I leaned in instead and kissed her for even longer. We stop and she opens her front door. She starts to frown and says, "Dammit I shouldn't have done that." I look at her and ask, "Why, what's wrong?" Before she went in, she said, "See you tomorrow." She close the door and I stayed stunned. Did that just happen? Damn this is crazy now I have a crush on Amy and Destiny. I wonder why she stopped kissing me. I guess I'll see tomorrow.
