Jeremy impatiently waited for an update from Bruno. His heart was aching so much from not seeing her again. A stranger.
How is that possible?
He felt like a teenage boy with his first crush.
He didn't understand what was happening to him.
Bruno did give him something, after Jeremy basically followed him closely making sure he is trying to find the girl.
He gave him a CCTV footage of the girl that afternoon. She was standing with her redhead friend both laughing at something.
Jeremy zoomed in on the girl and his eyes stayed on her the entire time. He wished he could be able to look into her eyes with this footage. But since she didn't look up at the CCTV camera, he could only dream of it.
He wondered what those two eyes looked like up close, what colors they are, what magic they hold in them.
He felt he would be overwhelmed with emotions if he ever finds her again. How can he fall in love in 30 seconds?
He was a 24 year old man, not a 15 year old teenager. What was happening to him? What was going on?
He had never believed in love at first sight, that was bullshit.
And look at him today, he was experiencing it. He was living it. Because that was the only thing that could explain the indescribable sensation he was feeling..
That this feeling, was love. He had fallen for a stranger. A stranger who he couldn't stop
thinking about, dreaming about every second of the day since he last saw her two days ago.
He was going through some important files on his desk when his phone rang next to him.
Seeing it was Bruno, he immediately answered.
"Hello, Bruno."
"Hello, my bossy friend... I found the girl."
Jeremy had been on this throat the entire time bossing him around and not giving him peace until he found the girl.
Joy couldn't begin to describe what Jeremy was feeling right now.
"Where is she? Who is she? Is she with you right now?"
Bruno laughed at his impatience. He would have teased him but he didn't want to torture the poor man any further.
"Let me just tell you what I know about her. She told me she doesn't go to school at the University. She just came there to see someone.
"She doesn't live in this town where the school is, she lives in your city. And her name is Gwen."
Jeremy felt happy knowing her name.
"Gwen.." He repeated it with joy.
"Also Jeremy, I have seen her before."
"Really? Where?"
"With your girlfriend, Victoria." He said this as if to remind Jeremy he had a girlfriend and shouldn't be obsessing over another girl.
Jeremy's smile dropped remembering he was engaged to another woman and soon to be married to her the following year. "Victoria, right." He lowered his voice.
"Anyway, she is right here with me if you want to meet her come at our favorite cafe right now."
After Bruno said those words, Jeremy suddenly opened his eyes.
He blinked them repeatedly while flinching to the bright lights shinning on his face which seemed to be coming from the window.
He just had a dream. A dream of when he first met Gwen. All that was a dream. His subconscious reminding him of that beautiful day.
He turned his head to side and found a little woman sleeping next to him peacefully.
