Leonora awoke with someone shaking her, she opened her eyes and was greeted with her ancient friend.

"What are you doing here at..." She begrudgingly turned her head to the side, to look at the clock on her bed-side table.  "5:00am? Eli, this is ridiculous, what is so important that you have to wake me up so early."

Elijah turned away from the sleeping beauty and opened her wardrobe, going through all her clothes he threw appropriate ones on her bed.  "Well dear, we have a tea-party to attend to."

Leonora was about to respond, but she had a dress thrown over her head. She ripped it off and sat up from her bed. "Who's we? You're the history buff this town perceives you as."

"And you are my plus-one. Everyone knows that you are remarkably gifted with higher intelligence, therefore you so kindly offered your wisdom to me." He said, while taking out the perfect dress for her to wear. It was a long black dress that tightened around the waist and chest, it had white out-lining the seams and had straps which held it up.

Leonora looked at the dress with discomfort, she had never once worn a dress. She'd never worn anything besides her suit - it felt like she was betraying it by wearing anything else. "I'm not wearing that."

"Yes you are, come on dear. You have to shower I can still smell the wolf on you, I already have breakfast cooking so when you come in, I expect to see you in this." Elijah ordered, while taking her arms and lifting her out of bed.

"I'm not wearing it" Leonora insisted, while walking towards the bathroom.

Elijah tilted his head at her sour mood. "It's a tea- party, you're supposed to look adequate."

"Then you wear it."

After Leonora had showered and done her hair & makeup, she made her way to the kitchen with her suit on. "You didn't put on the dress."

Leonora looked up from doing her tie to see Elijah looking at her with a plate of scrambled eggs and toast in hand. "I already look adequate in my uniform."

Elijah nodded and directed her to sit at the table while putting the plate in front of her. "So why are we even going to this thing again?" She questioned after she had taken a few bites of toast.

Elijah answered while cleaning up. "Because I want to get acquainted with the toast folk, that's all."

"Hm, I also have a feeling because a certain Salvatore will be attending."  She said.

"Which one?" He questioned from his place on the sofa after taking sips of his tea.

"Damon. Why are you drinking tea when were about to go to a tea party?" Leonora questioned after she had finished her breakfast and was now washing it up.

"You can never have too much tea, dear."

Leonora turned to face the Original who was skimming through her books. "Actually, too much tea consumption can cause heartburn and reflux as-well as decrease the iron absorption in the blood causing iron deficiency."

Elijah stopped drinking and turned to look at his friend with a deadpan look, he was smart - one of the most educated of the Originals but he was not this nerdy. "You should get a hobby dear."

Not giving her time to resort, he picked up her combat boots and walked to her giving them to her to put on. "Come on Leonora, we will be late otherwise."

"I can get us anywhere within a second, we're fine." She said, while doing up the laces of her boots.

"Yes but I would like to arrive their mundanely today." Elijah said, while walking towards the front door before he heard his friends footsteps pick up to catch up with him.

  【----------------】

"Have you spent much time in Richmond for your book? There's such a wealth of history there."  Carol's voice brung Leonora out of her head, she had only been there for half an hour and she was bored and fidgety. And she was surrounded by old rich people, she was not amused.

"No I'm focusing mostly on the, uh, smaller regions of Virginia. Lots of research. Strictly academic." Elijah replied back to Carol after nudging his foot into Leonora's to get her to focus.

"That's fascinating. I'm guessing that's why Leonora is here? We all know of her academic levels are truly out-standing."  Carol smiled towards Leonora, making her have no choice but to fake a smile back and nod in appreciation.

"Yes, well I came across Leonora while talking to Jenna Sommers, she recommended that I expand my research and knowledge by talking to someone who is very knowledgeable in the history of the place." Elijah said while glancing towards his friend.

Before Leonora could resort, Damon Salvatore wondered over to the three of them and greeted Carol with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hello Damon. Elijah, I want you to meet Damon Salvatore. His family is one of Mystic Falls founding families." Carol introduced the two.

Leonora began to focus more into the conversation, as Damon's eyes kept wandering to her in questioning. "Such a pleasure to meet you." Damon said.

Elijah noticed Damon's wandering eyes on his friend and brought his attention back to him. "No, pleasure's mine." The two of them shook hands.

"I would just love to tell you all about the founding families, Elijah. Seeing as I am one of them." Damon gave him a fake smile.

"Oh that would be a great investment to Elijah's research. You can chat privately in my husbands old study, just over there." Carol directed the three of them towards a closed door.

After Elijah closed the door, he questioned Damon. "What can I do for you Damon?"

"First and foremost, what you doing with little miss nerd over here?" Damon questioned while pointing to Leonora who was looking around the room.

"I'm apart of Elijah's deal to protect Elena's loved ones, since he has a particular interest in my abilities, I struck up a deal of my own." Leonora quickly came up with the lie, making sure to focus on her heartbeat.

"And what is that?" Damon interrogated with furrowed brows, she should of told them she had made a deal with the devil.

"I tell him about the regions of Mystic Falls, and he tells me more about what Klaus wants with me." Leonora said, also lying.

Before Damon could resort, Elijah talked, knowing that Leonora was going to get questioned on Klaus. "Damon, I asked you what you wanted from me."

Damon turned back to Elijah but not before giving Leonora a stern look, in which she ignored and continued to wander around the study- opening and closing books. "I was hoping we could have a word." He said.

"Where is Elena?" Elijah questioned.

Instead of Damon answering, it was Leonora. "With Stefan at a lovely lake house."

Damon nodded to her words. "They're laying low. You know, bit of a werewolf problem."

Elijah faked surprise. "Oh yeah, I heard about that."

Damon fake smiled and pulled a face at Elijah. "I'm sure you did, since it was your witch that saved the day."

"You are welcome." Elijah said while keeping an eye on the female in the room.

"Which adds to my confusion of exactly why you're here." Damon said, sitting down on the desk.

Leonora rolled her eyes, while turned away from the two men.

"Why don't you just stay focused on keeping Elena and Leonora safe and leave the rest to me." Elijah began to leave the room but before he could Damon had sped in front of him.

"Not good enough."

Leonora looked at Damon as if he was the most stupid person in the world, she couldn't fathom the sheer stupidity people seemed to have gained lately.

She watched as Elijah man-handle Damons neck and sped him into a wall, slamming him into it. Damon tried gripping his neck back, however Elijah began to slowly pull it away and squeeze his hand - effectively breaking some bones. "You young vampires, you're so arrogant." Elijah let go of Damon's broken hand and threw it aside. "How dare you come in here and challenge me?"

Damon looked towards the female in the room for assistance. Leonora knew that Elijah wouldn't kill him, but for the satisfaction of Damon she decided to play along. "Elijah, you can't kill him, remember?"

Elijah, seeing what Leonora was doing, also decided to play along. "Silence, witch." This made Leonora internally laugh and gasp in offence. She watched as he picked up a pencil and  stabbed it in Damon's neck and pushed him to the ground. "I'm an Original. Show me a little respect. The moment you cease to be of use to me, you're dead. So, you should do what I say. Keep Leonora and Elena safe."

He bid one last look to Leonora, before leaving her with the bleeding vampire. "You couldn't of been more useful?" Damon groaned out to her.

"I'm not the one stupid enough to challenge an Original Vampire. Cmon, get up." Leonora helped Damon to stand before they left to go to the Salvatores.

They had met up with Alaric, a teacher by day, vampire hunter by night, and they just sat down and talked. "Today was a bust." Damon said.

"Yeah, how's the throat?" Ric questioned.

"Sore." This made Leonora laugh before flicking to the next page of her book. "Hey, you can't laugh at me. You didn't bother helping me." Damon continued while pointing at her.

"Like I previously said. You took on an Original, what did you expect." She said without looking up.

"She's not wrong, I mean Elijah is one scary dude. But, with nice hair. Hey, you want another one?" Alaric questioned Damon knowing Leonora didn't drink.

"Ugh, he's gonna he hard to kill." Upon hearing that, Leonora focused into the conversation now that she knew they were going to try and put down her friend.

"Yeah. I'd think twice before I'd trust that dagger and some ashes to do the job. You're gonna need more information." Ric said while pouring a glass.

"I'm out of sources." Damon gloomingly said.

Neither men thought to ask the girl sitting in the room reading, thinking that she was only in a deal with Elijah and nothing more.

"What's up with you and this news chick?"  Ric questioned while coming to sit beside Leonora and handed her a lemonade.

"Oh, she's got spunk huh?"  Damon said, smirking.

Ric, sighed. "Just don't kill her, please."

Damon looked to Leonora in disbelief at Ric's words. "If he did, who would report her death." She said, which made Damon laugh and point to her.

"Just, don't do it, alright? She's friends with Jenna, and it's bad enough that I'm lying about everything to her. I hate the lies. Oh god, I gotta go, forgot I had to pick up Jenna." Ric said while glancing to the clock.

"I'll follow you out." Leonora stood up and went to follow Ric but before she could leave the house, her head had been viscously attacked by a metal object, making everything go dark. Before she dropped unconscious she saw Ric get stabbed in the stomach.

Leonora awoke to the feeling of her body in agonising pain. She opened her eyes and saw that she was laying down on a wooden table, her hands had been stuck down by knifes embedded in them, making them throb in pain and pool in blood.

Her chest had been slashed open, cutting through the fabrics of her uniform. Her legs had rope cutting off the circulation and cut through the skin. Her neck was the most bloodiest part though. She had a rope which was adorned with little razor blades covering the whole surface of the fabric, it was tied around her neck and tied to the table leg, if she moved the razors would cut into her neck or tighten the suffocating tightness.

She tried move her hands, but the knifes only prevented her from moving any muscles in them. "Damon? Ric? Get up." She heard Damon begun to groan before a man towered over her and put a tape over her mouth.

"Morning sunshine." She heard a man say to Damon. "I saw this in a movie once, some torture porn flick. Anyway, they had this collar device that was, heh, really cool. So I just modified it with some wooden nails, and when I pull..." Leonora heard Damon's groans get louder as she assumed the man to be pulling on the chains.

"So, I heard you have the moonstone." Leonora internally groaned, the annoying voice of Jules sounded out. At that rate, she wanted to die, just so she didn't need to hear her whiny voice.

Damon began to chuckle. "Oh, if you only knew the irony of this moment right now. Let me tell you how this is gonna go. You're going to torture me and leave my friend to bleed out. I'm not gonna talk, someone loses a heart. Last time it was your boy Mason."

Jules got closer to Damon. "This time, it will be you. Or your freak of a friend."

Leonora heard a man pull the chains and Damon's screams of pain fill the room. A man stood over her as he begun to dig into the skin of her thighs, making her groan as she could not open her mouth.

"You know the great thing about buckshot is? It scatters through the body. Maximum damage." Leonora stopped herself from groaning out as she accidentally moved her head a bit. She heard the cocking of a gun. "Where's the moonstone."

"Get over it, honey. You're never gonna get it." Damon mockingly said.

Suddenly a voice sounded out that made Leonora relax with relief and safety. "You looking for this?"

All the werewolves turned to look at the new-comer in the room and saw the suited Original standing there.

Elijah surveyed the room and saw his friend laying in a pool of her own blood and multiple torture devices digging into her. He was enraged but kept a cool and calm front. He walked down the steps and put the moonstone on the side, and gestured for the wolfs to get it.  "Go ahead, take it."

Leonora heard a wolfs growl fill the room before she saw out of the corner of her eye the man speed towards Elijah. However, Elijah was faster and he dug his hand in the mans chest and pulled out his heart.

The wolfs grew enraged at their killed friend, they all attacked Elijah, but Elijah was quicker, stronger and  better. He ripped out two hearts at once.

Jules, seeing this as a defeat, fled the room and ran away. This made Leonora despise her existence. 'Werewolves are all about loyalty' her ass.

Elijah slowly walked towards the werewolf who had cowered on the floor and pulled his jacket over his head. "What about you sweetheart, hm?" He pulled the scared wolf up. "Wanna take a shot? No? Yes? No? Where's the girl?" He asked, looking around for the ring leader.

"I don't know." Damon said, looking towards Leonora to see if  she wasn't dead. He relaxed, seeing her chest rise very slowly.

"It doesn't really matter." Elijah said before he punched the man so hard, his neck snapped.

He vamp-sped to Leonora, as Damon began to take off his own torture devices. He ripped the tape of her mouth making her cry out. She couldn't talk, she was in so much pain that she was seeing double, she saw the two Elijah's mouth opening but she couldn't hear a word of what he was saying.

Elijah tried to talk to Leonora but saw that she was unresponsive and not in the right state of mind due to being overwhelmed with pain that her brain has shut down. "I'm sorry." Was all he said before he began ripping off the roped around her ankles and untied the rope from the table leg that was around her bloodied neck.

He carefully peeled it off her neck, revealing torn skin and tissue, the bruising that wasn't covered by her blood was on full display.

Damon couldn't believe his eyes, he was watching a merciless Original vampire apologise and help a bleeding girl. He was so confused and angry that Leonora could have possibly built up a relationship with the Original without his knowing. But then he began thinking over the opportunities to use this friendship to his advantage.

Leonora still hadn't said or looked at anything, still overwhelmed with pain - she couldn't think clearly nor did she try to, she just allowed her mind to wander.

Leonora, a 17 year old, wandered down to her fathers lab as he requested her to show-case her abilities and for him to test them. She dreaded doing this, all she was to him ever since she became like this' was a weapon.

"Okay Nora, I want to test how protective your abilities are of their body source. Since last log you had shown inter-linked abilities with your magic, so I want to expand more in that, okay?"

She nodded, knowing that if she tried to refuse he would guilt trip her and say, 'I saved you, you should appreciate all I'm doing for you.'

He strapped her down once she had seated herself on the chair, and begun pulling out all sorts of tools.

"This one will be easy, understood?" She nodded.

She felt a blade skim across the top of her skin of her stomach, not hard enough to draw blood, but enough to shave off the top layer of skin. She relaxed knowing this was fine.

But she soon tensed as the blade was dug into her skin and dragged downwards, creating a long line down the left side of her stomach.

Her abilities started to act up, objects were levitating, the lights were flickering and objects were disappearing.

She obeyed her maker, as she laid on her stomach on the same cold metal table as that night. She screamed as a sharper and bigger knife was harshly slammed into her shoulder-blade, she continued to scream as once again her father dragged it down to the left of her hip. Effectively creating a diagonal scar across her back.

Leonora was pulled out of her thoughts as her own scream sounded out as Elijah and Damon pulled out the knifes from her hands.

"Shh. Shh." Elijah stroked Leonora's head as pressed his bitten wrist to her lips. She felt the blood slip down her throat, and relaxed in Elijah's hold.

Elijah picked her up and looked to Damon. "You do realise this is the third time I had saved your life now?" He said before speeding him and Leonora back to her house after picking up the moonstone.

After getting to Leonora's house, Elijah set her down on her bed, got a wet cloth and began to wipe the blood off her features. Her wounds had healed, thanks to his blood but the emotional trauma was still there nonetheless.

He took off her tie, boots and waistcoat but did not remove any more items of clothing as he wanted to remain respectful. After cleaning her and taking the blood off her, he pulled a blanket over her and made his way to the corner where a singular sofa sat- which he had brought over.

Elijah Mikaelson sat all night, keeping watch of the sleeping figure and protected her from the haunts of her own mind and the possible threats that will be out to get her.

  【----------------】

When Leonora had awoken she was feeling immense ache all over her body and mind, so she laid there for hours - waiting for the ache and pain to subside. After many hours, she got up from her bed and looked to her bedside table to read the time.

The numbers 2:00pm stared back at her, her eyed widened and she jumped out of bed to text Elijah to thank him for saving her, but she saw she already had a message from him.

From Elijah: Kitchen counter.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she walked into her kitchen after changing out of her bloody uniform, into a much more presentable one. Upon walking in, she saw a water bottle accompanied with paracetamols and a little cup of blood - assuming it to be Elijah's, she downed it and took the pills with water.

She heard the sound of a spring and turned to see toast had popped up from the Toaster. Smiling at the kindness of her friend, she put butter and strawberry jam on it and began to eat while thinking over the past couple days.

To Elijah: I'm forever thankful for you.

She truly appreciated the safety and kindness that came with being Elijah's friend. She was almost overwhelmed, no one had ever stuck up for her like he had done. Maybe he's doing it to repay the favour from her putting down his father or maybe he pitied her. But either way, she truly thought of Elijah as her family, her brother. No words needed to be exchanged to show this.

While she was eating her toast, her phone begun to alert her of multiple messages.

From Bonnie: I heard about what happened with Jules. I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help.

To Bonnie: Bon, it's okay. Elijah helped me, I am fine and able.

From Bonnie: Elijah!? Okay, were meeting up and you are telling me everything.

To Bonnie: Well, I for one would like to hear what you've been up to.

She didn't have to wait long as knocks sounded out from her front door. Opening it up she was instantly engulfed in a hug by her friend Bonnie.

"I'm so sorry, I was already on my way here after I had heard about it." Bonnie began ranting out.

"Hey, I'm okay, I'm always okay." Leonora pulled Bonnie into another hug to reassure her. She began to pull Bonnie to the sofa where she had laid out drinks and snacks for their girl session.

"So, tell me everything." Leonora said, looking Bonnie in the eyes.

Bonnie began to splutter out nervous laughs. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I'm not dumb Bonnie. Jeremy. Go."

Bonnie knew never to underestimate her friends knowledge, so she began to say. "Oh, I don't know. He's just been really sweet recently and helping me with my magic and despite not being magic himself, he's really helped me adapt to doing spell more often and not getting nose-bleeds. I don't know."

Leonora began to snack on some crisps before she began to talk. "But you do know. Cmon, Bonnie you need to seriously let it out."

"Well, one minute he went from being Elena's little brother to this hot, sweet guy that would protect me."

"You feel valued after being used by vampires. I understand." And she did, all Leonora's life had been revolved around her magic and her abilities. Ever since she met the Originals and currently specifically Elijah, they saw her as someone more than just a weapon. It was a nice feeling.

Bonnie looked to Leonora with understanding, this is why the two girls often kept to eachother since they could relate and comprehend how the other was feeling. "Exactly." She said while smiling.

The rest of the day spent talking about boys, spells and snacking on junk food, before Bonnie had to go with her spell- session with the little Gilbert.

Leonora had tried to call and text Elijah, however he was MIA ever since the werewolf accident. She didn't know if she had done something wrong or Damon actually stayed true to his word and temporarily put Elijah down.

She didn't bother trying to find out as the next day she was called to the Salvatores house by someone unexpected.

"Why'd you call me here Damon?" She said after she had appeared in his living room to see him reading and drinking.

She watched as Damon jolted and spilt some bourbon down his shirt. "Are you kidding me? I just put this on. Here. Read." She was thrown a book as Damon disappeared to go change  into another shirt.

The book was actually one of the Gilbert Journals. "Hey what am I supposed to be looking for."

"Where a bunch of witches were brutally massacred"
Damon casually said, while sitting opposite her and picking up another journal.

"Okay then." She also casually replied while skimming through the books and remembering majority of the details.

"Good morning Damon, Nora." Elena's voice suddenly sounded out from the hallway as she was tying her scarf.

Leonora looked up from the book to see Damon smiling at Elena, however upon closer inspection, Leonora saw that it was Katherine considering she's assuming Elijah is daggered therefore. Katherine.

Seems as though Damon also figured this out as he sped to Katherine and slammed her into the wall. "What are you doing here?"

Leonora saw Katherine pretend to struggle and choke. "What is your problem."

"Wearing her clothes? Like that's going to work." Damon spat out at her.

"You think I'm Katherine?" Katherine choked out. "Why would you think that? Katherine's in the tomb. Isn't she?"

Stefan came down and stood next to Leonora as he heard the commotion, picking up the last of 'Elena's words, he sped up to his room.

However just before he could choke the real Elena, Leonora had spatial-jumped in front of him and threw him back using her telekinesis.

Elena turned around with a questioning gaze as Leonora stood protective in front of her. "I'd thought you'd know your girlfriend by now Stefan."

Stefan got up and shouted at Leonora. "That's Katherine!"

"Is it?" Katherine's voice mocked out from the doorway as she looked at Stefan's realisation kick in and Leonora relaxing. "You're good." She said to the girl who had her hands enveloped in blue.

Damon had come up after being thrown across the room by the impersonating Elena. "What the hell?"

"When you guys daggered Elijah, the compulsion wore off. Thus, she was able to walk right out of the tomb." Leonora said as all heads turned to her.

Damon looked alarmed. "How do you know we daggered him?"

"It's obvious." Was all she said before she stepped away from Elena's front and to her side instead.

Stefan was confused. "How's that possible."

Katherine spoke up from admiring her scarf. "He's an Original, they have all sorts of special skills."

"I don't want you here. Get her out of here!" Elena screamed at Katherine before turning to the brothers.

Leonora's mind flashed to negative opinions as believe Elena to be using the brothers love for her to her advantage and is now ordering them around, fully believing that they would obey.

Katherine look to Leonora with a smirk as if she could read her mind, before turning to look at Elena. "You need me Elena. You all do."

"Like hell." Stefan said, putting his hands on his hips.

"We all want the same thing. Klaus dead. Yet here you all are running around like chickens with their heads cut off." Katherine mocked, looking at Elena.

"I don't want your help and I don't want it." Elena spat.

"And that's incredibly stupid of you. Do you know where Klaus is? When he's coming? What he looks like?"

Leonora piqued up at this. "Actually Katherine I do."

Katherine turned to Leonora is surprise, shocked that she would actually reveal herself. Whereas the other three looked to her in shock and relief.

"What? How?" Damon questioned.

"Saw it in a book, nice, blondie." Leonora lied, not wanting to reveal herself but also convince them that she is an ally. Katherine smirked at her lie, knowing fully well that she did not see it in a book.

"Katherine if you know anything else about Klaus say it." Stefan said before Damon continued. "Or get out."

"Fine. Then I'll just go to the Grill and have some lunch." The vampire doppelgänger turned to her human doppelgänger. "Maybe Aunt Jenna is free for a bite."

After Katherine revealed her desire to join in on the Klaus killing, Elena and Stefan went to school whereas Damon, Katherine and Leonora stayed behind.

They went down to the cellar where Elijah is daggered and held, Damon picked up a flame-thrower he had taken from the time they attacked Jules pack and tried to burn Elijah.

"You're ruining is suit. They cost a fortune." Leonora said, willing her power to show and telekinetically directed the flame away from the Original.

"The guys a billion years old, he's loaded." Damon said as he tried to bring the flames back to the vampire but Leonora's magic was stronger than his strength.

Katherine appeared around the corner and saw the remaining fires that were sparking on Elijah and Leonora pulling the flames away. "Oo, burning flesh. If you're trying to get the dagger back, you're wasting your time. He's indestructible."

"No kidding, how do you know so much about Original vampires." Damon said after pulling a face at the girl preventing him from burning the Original.

"She spent 500 years running from one Damon, she's bound to pick up a few things." Leonora said while she patted the fires off Elijah's body.

Damon thought about her answer and angrily turned to his old lover. "When I told you about my plan to kill Elijah why didn't you warn me that I'd die if I used the dagger on him?"

Leonora thought the answer was so simple. Katherine didn't care about him.

Katherine sighed. "Oh, there's so many rules. It's all very confusing."

"Did you know I would die?" Damon asked.

Leonora turned to Damon as she stood back up. "Of course she  knew." She ripped off the bandage, making him look down.

"Did Elijah tell you his plan? Did he have a dagger to kill Klaus with?" Katherine mocked Damon's lack of knowledge knowing fully well that the other occupant in the room knew.

Leonora personally didn't mind Katherine's company, as long as you didn't care or worry about her - she was quite a good person to be around.

"Why are you still here Katherine?" Damon questioned.

"Because you haven't forcibly removed me."

Leonora enveloped the flame-thrower in blue and pointed it towards Katherine. She'd never pull the trigger of course but she wasn't the one in control of it.

Damon also assisted in lifting the flame-thrower, once Leonora's blue tendrils faded from it, he still had it lifted towards her.

Katherine scoffed at the two. "You wouldn't"

Damon mockingly smiled. "Oh I would."

Katherine began to get nervous, seeing as Damon was deadly serious. "Damon, be smart. I want Klaus dead just as much as you do. More. If I wasn't being honest about helping I'd be long gone by now, okay? You can hate me but we want the same thing. And you know... I always get what I want."

Damon let go of the flame-thrower, Leonora's magic catching it before it dropped to the ground. Katherine passed the two and played with her hair and patted Damon's chest before saying. "Leonora's right. I wanted out of the tomb. Didn't matter who paid the price. Of course I knew that you'd die."

Damon refused to look at Katherine and instead looked to Leonora and motioned upstairs. The two walked up there and began to go through the Gilbert journals again.

Leonora heard Katherine wonder in again and begin to mock Damon, she took no notice of the two as she began to read the journals.

The wood from one tree and one tree alone, an ancient white oak, would bring death to an Original vampire. When the tree burned, all hope was thought lost...But the ash from the tree was saved, and witches forged a dagger to which the ash could be bonded. This alchemic bond provided the necessary poison to kill an original vampire

Leonora's mind raced as she read the words, looking towards Katherine and Damon, she saw them laying down on the piano talking to one another. She turned back to the book and ripped out the page containing the ingredients to kill an Original. She folded it and stuffed it in her bra, she'd give it to Elijah when he was awoken.

She was taken out of her secrets as Katherine's voice sounded out nearer to her. "When a witch dies, they release a mystical energy making the place of their death with power. You didn't need to ask me you have a witch right here." Leonora felt Katherine wrap her arms around her waist and rest her head on her shoulder.

"Elijah wanted to know the site of the massacre." Damon inputted looking to the girls weirdly.

"Do you know what he was going to do when he found it?" Leonora questioned, looking to Damon as Katherine begun to play with the waist band of her skirt. Slapping her hands, she heard Katherine laugh before backing away.

"I was kinda hoping you'd know. Considering you're all buddy, buddy with the guy." Damon said looking towards the book in Leonora's hands.

"I have, had, a deal with the guy. Doesn't mean he was going to spill his life secrets." Leonora said, her British accent standing out.

"What did papa witch and baby witch have to say?" Damon spoke loudly, making Leonora turn to see Stefan entering the room.

Stefan nodded to Leonora in greeted before facing the eldest vampire. "Isn't she gone or dead yet?"

"For the last time, I'm here to help. Can we skip the secrets, hmm?" Katherine said looking to three other people in the room.

Leonora loudly dropped the book in her hand, gaining the attention of the vampires and picked up another one and begun saying. "You're here because you knew Elijah had the moonstone, now that Elijah is temporarily put down, that leaves the knowledge that either Damon or Stefan has the moonstone. And since you know that Stefan is out doing normal life things, that left you to assume that Damon has the moonstone. You're trying to butter them up so that they hopefully tell you where it is and if they won't you'll go looking around for it so that you can do what you originally planned to do. Strike up a deal with Klaus, your freedom for the moonstone." Leonora finished, not once looking up from the journal.

Damon and Stefan looked to Katherine with smug smirks as Leonora exposed Katherine's true intentions. Whereas Katherine looked to the genius in the room with offence. "And here I thought you liked me."

"I don't hate your company." Leonora simply said, finally looking up at the vampires.

Leonora turned to Stefan, making Damon and Katherine do aswell. "Elijah had no weapon to kill Klaus." He said.

This made Leonora confused, why promise the death of someone if you had no weapon?

"But he believed that if a witch could channel enough power, they wouldn't need one."  Stefan finished.

Leonora had begun to think of the kindness of the Original and his desire to expand on her magic. Suddenly her friendship with Elijah was questioned as she believe that Elijah maybe thought she was the witch strong enough to kill Klaus. A sudden feeling of betrayal ran through her, that's the reason he was protecting her, that's the reason he was kind to her and that's the reason he promised to help her with her magic. Because he wanted to use her.

Leonora begun to feel anger towards Elijah but mostly herself. How could she be so naive to think that someone showed kindness out of the goodness of their hearts. Was her protecting him and his family for centuries upon centuries not enough for him? She put down Mikael and now he expected her to do the same to his brother? She was feeling all kinds of regret. And suddenly, the smiles and laughs begun to feel fake, begun to feel wasted.

The ripped out page in her bra begun to feel quite tempting now.

She was drawn out of her mind at Damon's words. "Like the power you get from a spot marked with a hundred dead witches?"

Stefan nodded. "We just need to find it,"

  【----------------】

"Chinese food or pizza?" Caroline questioned the girls.

Leonora was round Elena's with Bonnie and Caroline for a 'Girl's night' she was quite confused on why she was here as she was only ever close to Bonnie and saved Elena's life a couple of times. But apparently that meant that she was bestfriends with them now.

"Like you have to ask." Elena laughed, handing Leonora a lemonade.

Caroline begun to get out her phone but upon seeing a photo of Matt she begun to feel sad. Making Bonnie take out the phone from her grasp. "Maybe I should do it."

"Do you think that Jonas is being sincere?"  Elena questioned.

"I believe that Jonas is so desperate for his daughter back that he's willing to do and trust just about anything." Leonora said, making Bonnie nod and add on to her words. "He's at a loss."

"Join the club." Elena said.

Caroline, sensing the mood drift piqued up. "Well, what are we going to do about this movie situation? What about 'The Notebook'?"

Elena started to laugh. "Caroline, how many times have you seen that movie?"

"What's 'The Notebook?" Leonora questioned the girls, making all three of their heads snap towards her.

"Oh my god! I cannot believe you just said that!" Caroline shouted at Leonora with disbelief.

But that only made Leonora more confused so Bonnie patted her back. Before Caroline could go on another tangent again, Jenna walked in.

"Hi Jenna." Leonora greeted with a wave making Jenna smile before asking. "What's going on?"

Elena gestured to the friendgroup and said. "Girls night." Seeing Jenna's down mood, Leonora asked.

"How are you feeling?" She knew about Jenna's fight with Ric as Bonnie mentioned it over a light night phone call once.

"You heard about my fight with Ric." Jenna said.

Elena has a sympathetic expression upon her face as she said. "He feels terrible."

"Is this some kind of disguise to attempt to cheer me up?" Jenna interrogated while pointing to their set up or snacks and drinks.

Leonora, Bonnie and Caroline begun to shake their heads as they repeated "No, no,"

As the girls stopped Elena said. "This is about us girls hanging out. And you know, we'll be here if you happen to want to talk or..."

Caroline mockingly laughed. "Because I am a winner when it comes to successful relationships."

Jenna looked to the blonde with understanding. "You too?"

"You have no idea."

Jenna smiled before nodding. "Okay then." She opened the fridge and began to look through it. "This whole Isobel thing. He's hiding something from me."

Elena looked down guilt-fully, Bonnie put her hand on her leg to make her feel better.

"To play the devils advocate, maybe there is a great reason why he's not telling you. Maybe he's just trying to protect you." Caroline tried to suggest.

But Jenna disagreed. "Well that's not his call to make. I mean, I deserve the truth. Everybody does."

"Sometimes it's harder than that." Caroline whispered.

"Not if it's somebody you care about it isn't." Jenna's words made Leonora nod, she had an excellent point after-all.

Seeing the girl's decreasing mood, Leonora straightened up and said. "You know what would be a good idea?" Seeing she has all the girl's attention she lifted her hands up in the air and begun to do jazzhands. "Dancing!"

Caroline smiled and straightened up. "There's a band at the Grill."

Bonnie smiled before saying "I'm in." With Jenna and Caroline repeating.

All three of the girls turned to Elena who had yet to speak up. She smiled before lifting her drink and saying . "In."

Caroline clapped while Leonora got up and begun to spin Jenna around like a princess.

They all walked into the Grill to hear loud music and peoples cheering. "Wow." Caroline said.

However Leonora noticed Jenna's dampened mood and followed her eye-sight to see Ric staring at Jenna. "I need a drink."

At the same time, Matt came by. "Hey Matt." Caroline said, smiling but he completely ignored her and continued walking on.

"How does someone like Matt Donovan ignore the Caroline Forbes? It's baffling." Leonora said, making Bonnie smile.

"Thing's just got real awkward." Bonnie said. "He said the balls in your court."

"Yeah but I can't do anything about it." Caroline sadly said.

"Why not?! All you do is talk about how much you care about him." Bonnie kept insisting.

"Yeah but I'm still keeping so many secrets." Caroline said, turning to face the girls.

Leonora looked towards the vampire hunter and said. "Alaric is in the same position with Jenna."

Elena, catching onto her words, added on. "And maybe that is our mistake. We're trying to protect people that we love by keeping them out of it, but in the end. We're hurting them anyway."

Caroline nodded before facing the band and getting an idea. Leonora knowing what she was going to do said. "You wouldn't."

Caroline just smiled at her and took of her jacket and gave it to her before jumping on stage and taking the mic. "Let's hear it from the band everybody! Aren't they awesome." Everybody began to clap as Leonora had a horrified expression on her face.

"So there's this guy. And, uh, he told me to tell him how I feel about him - like it's so easy. Uh, just because I talk a lot doesn't mean I always know what I'm actually talking about. Like now, I'm feeling loopy and I don't really know how to express myself."

Leonora hid her face in Bonnie's shoulder as she couldn't handle hearing Caroline stutter in front of a wide group of people.

"I can sing! Yeah, sing. You know what, I'm gonna sing."

Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling
Do you feel my heart beating, do you understand?
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming?

Leonora was surprised as Caroline wasn't at all that bad, she begun to slowly sway while wrapping her arms around Bonnie.

I believe it's meant to be, darling
I watch you when you are sleeping, you belong to me
Do you feel the same, am I only dreaming
Is this burning an eternal flame?

She grabbed Bonnie's hand and begun to twirl her around while they were singing along.

Say my name, sun shines through the rain
My whole life so lonely you come and ease the pain
I don't want to lose this feeling

Leonora surveyed the room and saw people dancing, however she saw a man that looked familiar. Looking closely, she saw the man who she had saved endless time and time again.

She inspected Klaus's 21 century look as she was so used to him with long hair, meeting his eyes again she saw him lift his hand and wiggle his fingers at her in a wave while staring intently at her.

She let go of Bonnie and begun to walk throughout the crowd before she got outside. She looked all around but she found nothing, she was confused. She had saw close, she knew of it. But he was no where to be seen.

She walked back in to fine Bonnie and Elena talking. "If their happy, I'm happy."

"Who's happy?" She questioned.

"Caroline and Matt, in the bathroom." Bonnie explained to her, making her make an 'o' shape with her mouth and nod in realisation.

Elena began to walk away before Leonora motioned to her, and Bonnie nodded and begun to follow her. "Um, hey, uh. Speaking of happy. Would it freak you out if I started dating your brother?"

Elena turned to Bonnie with a questioning look. "You're into my brother?"

"I know it's weird." Bonnie said. "But he's been so good and strong. He makes me happy. And I really can't tell what you're thinking right now."

Elena nervously laughed before speaking. "I'm.. I'm thinking that, my brother has had more pain in his life than a hundred people's worth of pain and he deserves to be with someone as amazing as you."

Leonora nodded, she knew that Jeremy had been pining over Bonnie since the masquerade and now that Bonnie was reciprocating those feelings, she was happy.

"Really?" Bonnie asked.

"Really." Elena nodded.

The two girls hugged and laughed before Elena's phone rung making her leave the grill.

Bonnie and Leonora stayed together and chatted before Leonora spotted the vengeful look upon Jonas's face. She hit Bonnie's arm lightly and gestured towards the man, the two girls begun to follow him.

"Dr. Martin, are you okay?" Bonnie asked the angry man.

"Where is she?" He asked with a dead look upon his face. He began to slowly walk towards the girls.

Deducting that he was looking for the doppelgänger, Leonora stepped in front of Bonnie, recognising the dangerous look in his eye and said. "She's not here."

"My son is dead!" Jonas shouted.

"Whatever it is you think you need to do, there is a better way." Bonnie tried to convince the man while Leonora began to back them up.

"They killed Elijah, they killed Luka. And my only shot at getting my daughter back is Elena and Leonora." Jonas said, trying to grab the time-traveller but she kept backing out of his reach.

"No, no. Dr Martin." Bonnie said, shaking her head.

Dr.Martin grew enraged and turned his head towards the lights. Leonora grabbed Bonnie and hid her under her arm as the lights exploded and glass shattered everywhere.

"Where is she?!" Dr.Martin said while grabbing a hold of Leonora.

"I don't know! Let go of her!" Bonnie shouted.

Dr.Martin, still upset that he wasn't getting answers, focused on the glasses at the serving table, he willed them to explode.

Leonora heard the screams and the glass shattering, the guests begun to cry and try to run out the place.

"No one's getting out of here before I have both Leonora and Elena!" Jonas screamed at the girls, tightening his grip on the time-traveller.

Leonora saw the grieving father turn his focus to the tables instead, and she watched as they shattered, taking down people in the process. She ripped her arm out of Jonas and ran towards a young man who had a wooden piece sticking out of his arm. She directed him towards the exit but before they could leave, a fire erupted and started to travel towards her.

She pushed the man out the door and took to running away from the targeting fire. Leonora tried to make her way back to Bonnie but she saw her unconscious in Matts arms.

She turned around and a glass bottle erupted to her left, cutting her face and hands. She found Dr.Martin who was looking dead at her, she raised her hand and flicked her wrist. Blue enveloped around glass bottles and was sent hurling towards the Dr.Martin, making him cower away.

Stefan and Elena came up at her side, Elena tried to talk to the man. "I'm sorry Dr.Martin we never wanted your son to get hurt!"

But Leonora watched as Dr.Martin spat out at them. "You killed Elijah! You killed my son! Who's next?!"

To the left of them a fire erupted and grew bigger. Stefan put his arms around both Elena and Leonora to protect them from getting burnt.

But Leonora pushed herself out of Stefan's hold as she watched Caroline tried to bite Dr.Martin, only for her to scream out loud as he inflicted an aneurysm on her.

Stefan tried to pull her away as she watched Matt take on the warlock and get stabbed in neck. Deciding enough was enough, Leonora grabbed a few bottles in a hue of blue and hurled them at the attacking man effectively cutting his skin and making him scream out. Not giving him a moment to heal, she twisted her hand to form a grabbing motion and saw as his neck was wrapped in her blue tendrils.

Her eyes and hands glowed blue as she displayed her power. Slowly closing her hand, she watched as Dr.Martin began to loose the ability to breathe the closer her fingers got.

He eventually ran out of oxygen and his body lolled to the side and relaxed as his head was still enclosed in blue magic. Leonora dropped her hand, the blue fading and her eyes changing to their usual light brown.

A hand clasped her shoulder and she turned around to see Stefan, he nodded at her in appreciation and then went to check in Matt who was bleeding out.

Leonora, Stefan and Elena met up with Bonnie and Jeremy at the Gilbert residence. "Oh thank god." Bonnie said, hugging Leonora.

"It's not over yet." Elena said.

"When did you guys get home?" Stefan questioned.

"A few minutes ago.." Bonnie nervously said.

Stefan looked around the room as Leonora began to walk around. "Have you checked the house?" Leonora asked.

"Why would we check the house?" Jeremy questioned.

"Because after I suffocated Jonas and went to check on Caroline, the man had disappeared." Leonora said as she watched 'Elena' walk upstairs.

She heard the man screaming and went running upstairs with Stefan, and Bonnie right behind her. She came to the sight of the warlock bleeding out while Katherine - who was pretending to be Elena, stood over him with a bloody mouth.

"You're welcome." Katherine said before she nodded at Leonora after she was given an appreciated nod.

Bonnie walked to Jonas and knelt by the man. "You didn't have to kill him."

"Yes, we did." Katherine resorted back.

Leonora felt bad for Bonnie as this was the man that had taken her magic. No living man meant no way to get her magic back.

All was silent when suddenly Jonas awoke and grabbed Bonnie by the face making her scream out. "Ah! Get off!"

Leonora enveloped Bonnie in blue as she overpowered Jonas's strength and ripped her away and into her arms. Stefan came up behind the warlock and snapped his neck, while Katherine put a foot on his to make sure no surprise attacks happened again.

Leonora, Stefan and Katherine went downstairs while Jeremy comforted Bonnie. "Well, everything's taken care of." Stefan said.

"I'm guessing you're wanting this back." Katherine said while ripping off the necklace. "But your pretty little outfit is going to need a dry clean."

Leonora leant up against the front door frame, while reminding Stefan. "You will need to disappear before Jenna gets here Katherine."

"Nothing to say to me Elena?" Katherine questioned her doppelgänger.

"This doesn't change the way I feel about you." Elena said, looking at Katherine with disgust.

"I don't much like you either, if we're going to be open. And frankly, I'd be happy to see you dead. But if were going to try take on Klaus, we're gonna kind of need you alive. So I'm not a threat to you Elena. If any of you are going to believe anything, believe that. Besides, I'm not going to be your biggest threat." Katherine snuck a glance at Leonora at the last of her little speech, making the girl narrow her eyes at her.

Leonora left in a light of blue and arrived in her bedroom where she stayed for the night, with fortunately no interruptions.

  【----------------】

Leonora was told by Stefan that Isobel was back in town and wanting help Elena so if she was able, she could put her knowledge and Isobel's knowledge together.

However, Leonora declined and lied saying she had to 'do something' since Isobel, in her books, was bad news leading to exposure. For Isobel is an obsessive, emotionless, flip-switched vampire who had a desire to know everything about everyone so she was a little nosy.

She knew she was a huge hypocrite by thinking that, however Leonora couldn't help it. She took one glance at someone and she notices every detail which leads her to all the answers - in a couple minutes maximum. Whereas Isobel, was nosy, and spent weeks or months obsessing over someone's every move and deducted their life from those couple movements alone. She was a fraud, and believed she knew everything when in reality, she was being fed lies and dead ends.

So if Isobel were to see Leonora, the possibilities of her exposing her past with saving Klaus could come out, and she couldn't have that. Not because she was the enemy, but because she didn't know who Klaus even was at the time.

Leonora was currently with Bonnie,Jeremy and Damon to potentially find the residence of the 100 dead witches so that Bonnie can channel off of them.

Damon was about to open the door but Leonora teleported inside and opened it from the inside making Damon scoff. "Show off."

Leonora smiled as she examined the place. "Free for all vampires now that the owner is gone." She said.

"We should pack up the grimoires, I spent years collecting them. I wanna make sure they're safe." Bonnie said, looking around the room for the grimoires.

Damon turned to the two witches and said. "You know, we could just get another match and cremate him."

Leonora gave Damon a 'are you serious?' look as she gestured to Bonnie's hurt expression. "Don't be disrespectful. Not to him." Bonnie sadly said.

"Fine I'll bury him myself." Damon said and began to pick up the corpse.

"What exactly are we looking for?" Jeremy questioned.

"According to Luka's dad, one of these contains a spell that will harness the energy left when a witch dies violently." Bonnie explained.

Leonora began picking up the books and reading through them, she was mindful to come back and take these later seeing as they are no longer of use. "I didn't know you were close with Jonas." She said, looking at Bonnie.

"We weren't. But when he gave me my powers back, he gave me a message. If I can find the spot in town where the old Salem witches were burned, I can harness their energy to use when I need it." Bonnie explained.

"I don't get why you don't just channel of spacey over here." Damon said, while pointing to Leonora. "She's full of the power of time and space, literally."

"I'm not strong enough to channel from her power, if I got even a little bit of her magic it could kill me." Bonnie explained to him while stifling through some books.

Leonora turned to Damon with an 'I told you so' expression as she had already explained it to him on the way here, however he refused to listen. "I don't get why were looking through all these books when Damon already knows their place of death."

Bonnie turned to look at Leonora with disbelief before turning to Damon and asked. "You know where the witches were burned?"

Damon looked off into nothing as he pulled a face. "Did I forget to mention that?"

Jeremy spoke up from his place on the desk and asked. "Are we going to have to read every one of these til we find the spell?"

Leonora shook her head and gestured to Bonnie who was focusing intently on the bookcase and held her hands out while chanting. "It's this one." She said while picking up the fallen book.

"Great. Grab the rest and let's go." Damon said.

They all began walking in the general direction of the witches house which requires them to walk through the woods after it had just rained. Leonora looked down sadly at her wet boots.

"Is this the spot Emily Bennet was killed to?" Jeremy asked while carrying a big bag full of equipment for Bonnie to channel.

"Founders thought it was poetic burning her where the witches were burned." Damon replied.

Leonora was walking beside Bonnie as the witch asked. "How do you know where the witches were burned?"

Instead of Damon replying however, Leonora did. "Because he tried to save her as Emily was the witch who knew the whereabouts of Katherine. She also had the ability to get Katherine out of the tomb, if she were ever in there in the first place."

Damon looked to Leonora with a creeped out expression. "Is anything ever kept hidden from you, huh?"

Leonora shook her head as the witches death house came into view, she willed her hands to glow and teleported into it, leaving behind the Gilbert, witch and vampire.

She looked around the dusty and worn out place, the lights were obviously off so not much light besides the natural radiance of the sun.

She turned around as she heard the door opening and in came the other three. "You couldn't wait for us?" Damon asked in which Leonora shook her head and replied. "You were taking too long."

They began to walk deeper into the witches house until Jeremy suddenly stepped on a creaky floorboard and gasped, scaring himself. Leonora turned to him with a smile and tilted her head.

He waved her off embarrassingly and continued to walk. Damon looked out of a window until his steps were faltered, he tried to move but his steps seemed to be glued to the ground.

He chuckled before facing Bonnie, knowing that if it were Leonora he would see blue tendrils. "Whatever witchy prank you're playing on me, don't. It's not funny."

"It's not her." Once she had gained the attention of the others, Leonora continued. "Death place of a hundred witches who were heavily into the whole 'balance of nature' belief. You, a vampire are an embodiment against that. They don't like you."

Damon was about to resort but he began to feel burning on his back. Leonora heard the sound of sizzling and knew that the witches had stopped his daylight ring from working temporarily.

"Oh, my ring's not working." Damon groaned out. "Do something!" He said to Bonnie who began to chant.

Leonora held up her hand and willed her powers, her hands glowed blue as she focused on casting a protective shield on Damon.

Damon and Jeremy saw the blue hues surrounding the vampire as Damon began to cool down again.

Bonnie stopped chanting as Damon could move again and sped out of the sunlight. Leonora dropped her hands, the shield falling from Damon's figure as he was safe now.

"The witches really don't like you here." Bonnie said.

"I guess this is the right place." Jeremy said while eyeing the place.

Leonora began to walk away before a dusty old chair was suddenly flung her way, she threw her left hand up, enclosing the chair with her magic and threw it to the side just before it was going to hit her.

She turned to Bonnie for answers before a door that was to her right exploded and caused the wooden pieces to penetrate her skin making her groan. "Oh, I see what's going on."

"I don't understand you're a witch." Damon said while walking towards her.

"No, no. They think I'm a fake as my magic isn't technically natural." She replied. Not allowing anyone to question what she meant she teleported outside and looked at them.

"I think I'll go join her." Damon said while walking towards the exit.

As Damon was walking towards her, Leonora begun to mock the witches under her breath. "Stupid balance of nature. Who even follows that stupidity." She whispered to herself.

"I'm with you on that one fakey." Damon said, coming up with a new nickname.

Leonora had gotten bored and left Damon in a light of blue. She appeared at her home, however as soon as she entered her bedroom she got a message from Stefan. Elena's been taken, meet at Lockwood Mansion.

Shaking her head and sighing she teleported to the outside of the Lockwood Mansion, and begun searching the place.

"Found anything?" She turned around and came face to face with Stefan.

She shook her head and said. "No. Who was she taken by this time."

"Isobel, her mother." Stefan replied while checking some of the rooms. Seeing her neutral expression he asked. "You knew she was working for Klaus?"

"It was obvious. Spent years searching into the guy, it's not a surprise that he used her for her information."

Stefan was about to resort when his phone begun to ring, he answered before he told Leonora. "She's at the Boarding House. Cmon."

Her and Stefan had made it to the Salvatores to see Elena sitting on the sofa with a blank expression and caressing a necklace.

"Was that your mothers?" Leonora asked, making Elena look up to see her and Stefan walking towards her.

Elena sighed before saying. "I never thought I would feel bad about her being dead and yet..."

Stefan sat opposite her, while Leonora sat next to the hurt doppelgänger. "She was your mother." Stefan said.

"I know, I just... wish I had more time." Elena sighed out as a tear ran down her face.

Leonora sensed that Elena was about to fall apart, so she gave her some words. "I understand." She saw Elena look towards her, so she continued. "I understand the feeling of missing something you've never had. Believe it or not, but I've had a similar experience with absent mothers. So this emotion you're feeling? It's okay to feel it."

Stefan and Elena looked towards the time-traveller with a new sense of regret. Regret that they ever doubted her loyalty and ever saw her as an enemy.

Because she wasn't. She may of kept some stuff from them, like her friendship with Elijah and her past with Klaus. But that was all it was, the past. Not the present and maybe not the future. But back then, she was just a girl trying to survive wandering along the strings of time. And by befriending the Originals and saving them time and time again, it gave her a purpose and made her feel less alone in a new era.

So no, she was not they're enemy. She was a girl who was trying to find a place amongst their friend-group and seeing her old friend Elijah. It made her want to go back to that stability, to that purpose. She never intended to come off as a double-crosser by keeping her life and her past to herself.

Elena nodded to Leonora and took her hands in hers, squeezing them before letting go and wiping the tear. She turned to Stefan and asked. "Why did they let me go?"

Stefan shook his head before sighing out. "Well, anything that John told Isobel we have to assume Klaus knows, right?"

Leonora looked to Elena before saying. "So he knows you won't transition yourself into a vampire. He knows who you have keeping you safe."

Elena looked towards the genius in realisation. "He knows I'm not gonna run."

Damon entered the room. "Which is why we need to take some precautions. Because we got played. All of us."

Leonora tilted her head in thought. She literally told them what Katherine was going to do? It's not her fault they never take her word's seriously.

Damon put a stack of papers on Elena's lap, making her question out. "What's this?"

Stefan answered. "The deed to our house. It's in Zach's name. As soon as you sign it, it will be a new name."

Elena looked to Leonora with wide eyes before turning to the brothers. "You're giving me your house?"

"Isobel had the right idea with the safe house, just stay here til this whole Klaus thing blows over." Damon said.

"That way you can control who gets invited and who doesn't." Stefan finished for him.

Damon looked to Elena in a threatening expression. "Although I'll be super-pissed if you lock me out."

Before anyone could say anything, John had dramatically gasped and sat up. He was officially back from the dead. "Good timing John, very dramatic." Leonora mocked.

Elena started to stand along with Leonora before Damon sped to him and slammed him into the wall making John plead out. "I swear to god I had no idea what she was gonna do. I'm sorry!"

He looked to Elena before apologising. "I'm so so sorry." Leonora felt bad for the guy, he just wanted to be a good father but then again; why walk out in the first place?

"Damon let him go." Elena ordered. "He and I need to talk."

Leonora, seeing that her job here was done. Teleported away from the Salvatores and to her home, where she feel into a deep slumber. Unbeknownst that her no so secret admirer was body- swapping into Ric.

Katherine awoke from being knocked out and saw a witch with his hands hovering over the vampire hunters face while chanting some words.

She was suspicious of what was happening, and before she knew it 'Ric' was opening his eyes and standing up.

She saw him look towards her, making her question. "Alaric?"

Alaric walked towards her, making her nervous, so she tried to speed out of the apartment. Only to hit a solid wall, preventing her from doing so.

She turned around to be face to face with Alaric, however she soon felt her stomach twist in terror as he uttered "Zdravei, Katerina."
