car rides & police
A CAR PULLED up, emerson walking towards it as she noticed a familair boy in the drivers seat
she sat down as she smiled, before he drove off "thanks for getting me" she spoke as he nodded, it was silent tho.
she looked out the window as she felt awkward asking him to come get her, he probably didn't expect this
"who's that kid you were talking to?" he asked out of no where, which made her furrow her eyebrows and turn to him
"what kid?" "the kid at that party" he spoke as she smirked "that's hayden, he's nice" she spoke before turning towards the window again
"you dating?" he asked as she sighed "no, i barelt know him" she spoke as he nodded, they kept driving
"where are we going?" she asked as he rolled his eyes "your home?" he spoke as she didn't respond
"you know, you've changed" she spoke as he kept driving, he turned to her for a second before asking "how?"
"you weren't as rude, and bitchy" she spoke as he sighed "and you used to be shy" before she smiled
"maddy got me out of my comfort zone" she spoke before he spoke up "you want food?" he asked as she smiled
"yeah, where?" she asked "what do you want?" he asked a she thought about it before shrugging
ashtray rolled his eyes as he drove around for a second, before pulling into a mcdonald's drive thru
"what do you want?" he asked "chicken nuggets and fries" she spoke as he nodded, rolling down the window
saying both of their orders through the window before he pulled up and payed, getting their food
he handed her the bag as she handed him some fries as he continued to drive, "thank you" she said
"mhm" he mumbled before turning down her street, and heading towards her home, pulling into her driveway
"take the bag" he spoke, talking about the food as she smiled "thank you, ash" she spoke "for the food and the ride" she added
"anytime" he spoke before she shut the door and heading towards her home, unlocking the door
heading inside, placing the food down on a table and taking her shoes off, heading back to the door
she locked the door and looked around, even with it just being her in the house, she decided that it was time to say something
somethign about her brother dying, and if it was anyone. she was going to the police. but she decided to sleep it off, and deal with it tomorrow
