I've been the lonely self, just by myself.
Keeping my thoughts to myself, my feelings in a safe.
A broken soul, lost in the mist,
A walking dead to say the least.
In my head I became a host, of a lost world just my own.
Then we met and something changed,
Unrecognizable, everything exchanged.
Who am I, who have I become;
Please look away so I can be one.
Can't take this anymore for I realize,
In your eyes a reflection,
Of my burning affection;
Or as I would rather call it,
My distinct butterfly effect.🦋
May be a phase, maybe not.
May be a start, maybe not.
Made a chaotic being but still liking me.
To get my thoughts straight I should forfeit.
But a glimpse from you sets my mind free,
From a confused me from a troubled me.
Moving on from you a privilege,
Afraid an impossibility standing at the edge.
How am I supposed to move on stuck in this now,
Falling in love, yes, I'm stumbling now.
