[Before we start, just wanna state something. Now, over the last few weeks, I've had a few people ask if the reader will kill villains. Which is a fair question, as the reader is an anti-hero. But in saying that, I also want to say that the reader isn't like other anti-heroes. I don't want him to be some generic hard guy who kills just because something bad happened to him. I want to make him realistic. So, for now, no, he won't kill people. But still, inflicting them with fears that leave them in a state where they can no longer move and are left to live in a hell of their own nightmares isn't an easy feat.

But eventually, something big will happen when he goes beast mode, but I kinda want to save that for the actual Vigilante arc in the anime. So, yeah, just thought I should state that. Another thing, the readers the Quirk, Nightmare, is basically the ability to construct the nightmares of not only his enemies, but his own, and basically use them as soldiers to fight those around him. He can also inflict nightmares onto other people whether that be through touching them or punching them.]

[Also, FYI, If you guys like BakuBro so much, well, get ready for some fun in this chapter... Because it about to get emotional.]

[3rd Person POV]

Chaos erupted around the board. No matter where one looked, complete and utter chaos was on full display. The attack of the villains came absolutely out of nowhere, even more so when they decided to scatter a majority of Class 1-A's students to random parts of USJ. All locations that were used in training heroes for natural disasters, now had disasters of their own as the students fought off the plethora of criminals that came up against them. Some found it easy, others found it hard work.

Then there were some who enjoyed the confrontation, like Bakugo. The brawling blonde's smile remained intact even as he through a rubble-filled building in the collapse zone of USJ. An area used to reenact situations involving recent earthquake activity. Yet, even with the word all grey around him, Bakugo happily smiled as he launched his fist forward and sent a villain smashing through the window of a three-story building with a smile. The villain's scream echoed as he neared the ground, eventual silence came, but that only signified the villain's fate, and Bakugo's opinion of him.

Bakugo: "Pfft. Pathetic."

But Bakugo's peace was given little to no more time as a trio of villains quickly rushed in from behind. Bakugo's eyes merely widened as he twisted his head. A dark aura cast over his gaze.

Bakugo: "What's this? You guys actually thought you could beat me?"

The dark aura mixed with the complete lack of fear in his words was more than enough to bring the villains to an abrupt stop. The trio just turned to each other in confusion, but this is exactly what Bakugo wanted.

Bakugo: "I WANT YOU TO DIE NOW!"

The sound of laughter, followed by explosions, was all the signs given to showcase Bakugo was going off. Not too far away in the same area of the building, Kirishima could be seen holding off his own against a villain wielding a sword. But due to his Quirk of making his flesh really sturdy, he was easily able to block the attack before taking out his opponent with ease. Before long, all villains were taken care of, leaving Kirishima to breathe a sigh of relief. However, his expression quickly took a shocked turn as he spun around to see Bakugo kicking dirt in the face of one of the unconscious villains.

Bakugo: "Stupid villain. No one likes you. You're nothing but a big nerd, ya hear me?"

Kirishima: [Chuckles] "Wow. Bakugo, I think he's had enough, ya know?"

Bakugo: [Looks up] "Huh? Oh. You're here... I didn't notice."

Kirishima: "Wha--You didn't-- But I've been--"

Bakugo: "Look, Kaminari, no offence, okay, but I'd just rather be scattered in random places with other people, alright?"

Kirishima: [Chuckles] "Let me guess? Like (Y--Wait. What did you call me?"

Bakugo: "Huh?"

Kirishima: "Just then. What name did you call me?"

Bakugo: "What? Kaminari?"

As soon as he heard it again, Kirishima's greatest fears had finally been confirmed. He... Was becoming a background character. And one to the point that he was waywardly compared to someone else.

Kirishima: "Dude! I'm not Kaminari! I'm Eijiro Kirishima!"

Bakugo: "Huh?!"

Kirishima: [Sighs] "Dude! Come on! I'm in the same class as you!"

Bakugo: "Eh. That's not much to go off of. The only people in class I really pay attention to is (Y/n), and the girls I'm going to set up with (Y/n). So, don't worry about it too much, Aoyama."

It was as Bakugo said this that he turned around and proceeded to walk over to the shattered window. Unfortunately, once more, he had gotten Kirishima's name wrong.

Kirishima: "I'm not Aoyama! I legit just said my name is Kirishima! Eijiro Kirishima!"

Bakugo: "AND THAT'S GREAT! BUT I'M SORRY, GUY, BUT I have greater worries on my mind at the moment!"

A sigh escaped Bakugo's lips as he turned back to look out the window where the ruined USJ could be seen in the distance.

Bakugo: [Sighs] "Each second that passes by, is a second where I could be making (Y/n) get a girlfriend. I mean, look around! There's a crisis, and it's the perfect opportunity for (Y/n) to save some random girl from trouble... Even if I have to push him to do it. I will make him get a girlfriend."

There was clear passion behind Bakugo's words as he lowered his head and clenched a fist. Meanwhile, to the side, Kirishima just tilted his head and scratched his neck as an awkward chuckle filled the air.

Kirishima: "Uh... Wow, dude..." [Nervously Chuckles] "You're really into setting (Y/n) up with a girl, huh?"

Bakugo: "Of course, I am. He's a guy. He needs a girl. I mean, we be boys. But sometimes there's some things the boys can't do together... Even with socks on."

Kirishima: "Uh, say what now--"

Bakugo: [Sighs] "Besides... (Y/n) deserves to be truly happy for once."

It was as those words finally registered into Kirishima's head that his previous thoughts were completely lost. Not because he didn't want to think of the topic, but because he was shocked by the sudden change in Bakugo's tone. One moment he was joking about, yet, right now, he had a sense of sincerity about him. And the look on his face showcased exactly that as Bakugo's gaze dropped to the ground.

Bakugo: "Ever since (Y/n) was young he'd been delt a hard hand in life. Whether it be one thing or the other. Everyone seemed to be out for (Y/n). Even I was at one point. But then one day he did something for me that no one else had done before, he gave me a second chance, he gave me true friendship when no one else did..."

Kirishima: "Bakugo, I had no idea--"

Before he could finish Bakugo's gaze suddenly rose. A determined look crossing his face instantly.

Bakugo: "I may be (Y/n)'s friend, and I always will be, but sometimes having a friend isn't enough. Sometimes you need someone closer. That's why... That's why I won't give up until (Y/n) has that someone. He will be happy. I'll make sure he has a girlfriend who loves and cares for him because he deserves it..."

At that moment more villains entered the room. Looks of pure cockiness was ever- present on their faces as they believed taking on mere kids would be easy. But when they saw the glare in Bakugo's eyes as he ignited his hand, they began to regret such actions. The words that followed did that even more so.

Bakugo: "...And I won't let any criminal, villain, or high school bully get in my way of making my friend happy. SO YOU HEAR ME YOU GOOD-FOR-NOTHING NERDS?! I'm gonna punch ya. I'm going to punch you so hard you're gonna wish you weren't the lucky one to crawl out of your old man's nutsack!"

It was unknown what happened after that point, as the sound of explosions and people crying for help was all that could be heard. Though one thing was known, Kirishima saw Bakugo in a different light from that day on. So much so he was more than willing to help his fellow student out. Something Bakugo turned to in surprise as a brief pause came to the fight. Kirishima only smirked back with eagerness.

Kirishima: "Thought you might need some help in taking these nerds out. After all, the sooner we beat them... The sooner you'll be able to hook (Y/n) up with a girl."

As the brief pause deepened, a grin was soon to find Bakugo's lips as he turned back to glare at the cowering villains.

Bakugo: "I appreciate this... Kirishima."

A smirk soon found the face of the redhead, who activated his Quirk before the dynamic duo that was Bakugo and Kirishima launched into action. More cries of help filled the air, but none were answered. However, unbeknownst to both Bakugo and Kirishima, they were not the only ones to hear the brief story Bakugo told. For just around the corner, the silent figure of Kaito could be seen standing. A blank look soon was crunched into a glare as he crushed his palm into a fist. The anger grew on the bully's face as he pictured the thoughts in his head.

Kaito: "(Y/n)...I will crush you. I promise myself as much."

But the mutters were all that came from Kaito as he turned around and walked away, leaving Bakugo and Kirishima to the fight. Unbeknownst to all, conflicts would soon arrive, but for now, another battle was taking place. A battle (Y/n) and his group of students were quickly nearing.

[Your POV]

I knew with each step we took the closer we neared the centre of USJ. Despite some rocky terrain of the mountain range still ahead of us, I could hear the echoes of the battles ahead as Aizawa took on the villains. Though, as I pictured it, I couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed. Sure, I had fought bad guys before. But never this many at once. Despite a goal driving me to not rest until all villains are taken care of, I couldn't help but feel caution at how I would go against so many opponents. If I had to sum up the thoughts into one word... It'd be 'Pathetic'.

I hated realizing that. For as long as I can remember, the only thing I wanted was to stop the bad guys, and not just throw them into prison, but to actually stop them for good. I even have the Quirk to do exactly that. However, now that I had the opportunity to start, I couldn't help but question if I was ready or not. What good would it be going out there if I would only fall out of grace? Then I would not only be failing Mom and Izuku, but I'd also be failing the people of this world who can't defend themselves from the evil within it.

Just thinking such brought an anger to my body. The only thing subsiding it was the music that played through an earphone lodged into one of my ears. The white cord leading down the side of my body into my phone that rested in the pocket of my suit. If I was being honest, I'd be content with just continuing to listen to my music in peace until we finally reached the centre. But it appeared I wouldn't get such luxury as with only one ear being connected to the blissful tones of the music, my other was out in the open, allowing my senses to pick up the voice of a frightful Mineta who sounded from behind.

Mineta: "Hey, (Y/n), we're just heading to the fight to just see how things are, right?"

Tsuyu: *Ribbit* "Do not worry, Mineta. Knowing the villains, they will probably think you are far too weak to worry about you first up."

Mineta: "Hey! Why you gotta go for a man straight like that for?!"

Nothing but another 'ribbit' came from Tsu as a response. As for me, I was yet to even give a response. A part of me didn't want to. But in the end, I remembered hating when my Mom wouldn't tell me some things as a kid. So, I reluctantly gave a response... Even if it wasn't the truth.

(Y/n): "Don't worry, Mineta. We're just gonna check things out and I'll get you guys back to the others."

Yaoyorozu: "I hope they are all okay. Knowing a villain's playbook, we were probably not the only people scattered."

Kaminari: "Either way, we've got Aizawa and Thirteen right? They're heroes, there's no way they can lose, right?"

Jiro: "You gotta remember, idiot, there are a whole lot more villains than heroes here."

Kaminari: "Hey! I'm not an idiot... All the time."

Yaoyorozu: "Jiro is right. As much as I would like to believe that we can still win the day, we must face facts. We are outnumbered. The best thing we can do is get to the others and get out of here to get in contact with some teachers. So I believe we should pick up the pace."

It was as Yaoyorozu said this that she picked up her pace and pushed passed by myself and others. She even into an outright jog, however, that didn't last for long as after about ten meters or so she came to a stop when she realized no one was following her lead. Instead, we all just continued to walk.

Yaoyorozu: "What is the matter? Why are you all not jogging?"

Mineta: "I don't wanna, I'm tired!"

He said as he hung onto my shoulders, that is. I never exactly let him do it, but Mineta kinda just appeared out of nowhere and I couldn't be bothered to flick him off.

Kaminari: "I'm not tired. I just... I just don't wanna jog."

Yaoyorozu: "But jogging would be the most efficient action right now if we wish to reach the others in time before anything worse happens." [Turns to Jiro] "Do you not think so, Jiro, Tsuyu?"

Jiro: "Yeah, I don't really do the whole 'jogging' thing unless I'm in class being told to do it."

Yaoyorozu: [Mutters] "But I'm telling you to do it?" [Out Loud] Tsuyu?"

Tsuyu: "Do not take this the wrong way, Yaoyorozu--" *Ribbit* "But clearly you see yourself as someone who thinks they know more than everyone else."

Yaoyorozu: "What? I do not believe I do such a thing."

Tsuyu: "Besides, if I am going to be following anybody's actions, it will be (Y/n)."

Huh? Now that definitely was enough to snap me from my music, so much so I even turned to look at Tsu.

Kaminari: "I agree with Tsu. But mainly because (Y/n) isn't jogging."

Mineta: "Yeah! (Y/n)'s awesome! You should have seen him! He took out like a dozen villains all with a nightmare shark!"

Yaoyorozu/Kaminari/Jiro: "A nightmare shark?"

(Y/n): [Sighs] "It's a long story."

Unfortunately, as much as I would have liked for things to end here, it...did not.

Tsuyu: "It was a rather extraordinary sight." [Turns to you] "...I definitely noticed it."

(Y/n): "Um... Okay?"

Yaoyorozu: "Well, I don't mean to be rude, but I fail to see why that should be more than enough of a reason for us not to quicken the pace?" [Turns to you] "Do you not think getting there sooner would be more efficient, (Y/n)?"

If I'm being honest, I wasn't actually expecting this much attention to come my way. If I did, I wouldn't have put my earphones on to block out any other conversations. Yet, here we are...

(Y/n): [Sighs] "...Look, I understand where you're coming from. But if we use all our energy to rush there, we'll have none for later. Besides, the way I see it, the villains are after All Might, so I feel Aizawa will be on the defensive until he shows up."

If he shows up. But if I'm being honest, I only said that to stop anyone from rushing ahead. Mainly because I didn't want to waste any energy now, because I knew as soon as I reached the centre, I'd need all the energy I could get. Though, despite not really caring about it, Yaoyorozu did eventually return to the group, choosing to walk the rest of the way though I couldn't help but notice how she kept her head low. A brief moment was spent just looking at her.

As I did, I couldn't help but wonder if she was doing all of this because of what she said... Or if it had something to do with Kaito. Unfortunately, before I could fixate on it any further my attention was drawn in an unexpected direction when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Out of all the people it could be, however, I least expected Jiro to be the cause. As normally she seemed more of the... 'Don't talk to me type'. So it was a little surprise to see she was the one actually starting a conversation.

(Y/n): "Uh... What's up, Jiro?"

Jiro: "What are you listening to?"

(Y/n): "What am I listening to? What do you--"

It was at that very second that my mind was drawn to the earphone currently being held in my right hand. It was that thought that sparked my brain. From that moment on it all connected, including the reason why Jiro would ask a question. Because if there was one thing everyone knew about Jiro, despite her lack of starting a conversation, it was that she genuinely liked music. If her style didn't give off that vibe, the plugs she always kept in her ears did. Even so, it was still slightly surprising to see her asking such a question. That's when I also remembered, I had yet to even respond to that very question. Such was hinted at as she waited for her reply.

(Y/n): "Oh! Uh, n-nothing much. Just some random rock music."

Jiro: "Random rock music? Let me hear."

(Y/n): "Oh, uh, sure, I--"

Though once again, I was unable to finish my sentence before Jiro took the earphone out of my hand and took it into her own. Seconds later the ear jack that was previously in her left ear came loose, allowing her to replace it with my earphone. By this point, my body kinda came to an awkward halt as one earphone remained plugged into my ear, whilst the other sat in Jiro's ear.

The awkward moments that followed as I reluctantly waited to hear what she thought of my musical tastes felt like it went on forever. Until eventually she removed it and looked up at me. I don't know why I was hesitant to hear what she thought. But when I saw a small smile cross her lips, it felt like a massive weight suddenly let go of my body or something.

(Y/n): "So, uh... What do you think?"

Jiro: "Well, I wouldn't exactly call it 'random' rock music. Though, you seem to have pretty good taste in it."

(Y/n): "Oh! Uh... Thanks, I guess?"

Jiro: [Smiles] "No problem. At least now I know someone in the class knows what real music is."

To be honest, I don't really know what I was expecting as a response. Maybe I just thought it'd be some snarky response due to how Jiro seemed to act. Yet, here she was just being a cool person so there wasn't really much I could do other than accept the compliment. However, the last part of her sentence still stuck oddly with me.

Though when I went to ask Jiro what she meant by that, I realized the girl had already returned to walking ahead, leaving the stray earphone to hang loosely in the air. So all I could do was just watch as Jiro walked off until I was eventually joined by Kaminari who now stood beside me. Who was also looking in Jiro's direction.

Kaminari: "You know, I think this is the first time I've seen her actually be nice to someone."

(Y/n): "Huh..." [Turns to him] "You really think so?"

Kaminari: "I mean, she does call me an idiot." [Turns to you] "Did she call you an idiot?"

(Y/n): "...No."

Kaminari: "Then I think you can call this a win. Though, just remember, I know you're the resident ladies' man of the class, apparently. But still, save some for the rest of us... Please."

My confused gaze had now shifted from Jiro to outright Kaminari. The look in his eyes showcased just how much he meant that last word. Before I could even make a response to it, however, the blonde boy had already moved on. It was at this point that I came to realize just how weird this day had truly gotten. Hopefully, we can reach the centre and I just end this in time to get home early.

[3rd Person POV]

Meanwhile, elsewhere with Bakugo, the scruffy blonde could be seen walking through the destroyed streets of the collapse zone. Beside him walked Kirishima. The redhead still reeling in front of the most recent encounter with villains.

Kirishima: "Man, these guys just don't quit, do they?"

Bakugo: "...Nope."

Kirishima: "Ha! Well, we showed em, anyway, huh?!"

Bakugo: "Uh, huh... Sure did."

It became present by this point that Bakugo clearly wasn't in the moment. All it took was for Kirishima to send his gaze ahead toward the blonde to see Bakugo still had his head lowered, it had been this way for a while. He just didn't know why. Well, at least he thought he didn't. But in reality, it was the most simple of guesses, Bakugo was worried about (Y/n). Now, he wasn't worried that (Y/n) would get hurt. After all, he knew (Y/n) could kick ass as much as he could take it. However, what annoyed Bakugo, what pissed him off, what made him feel pathetic... Was that he wasn't there with him.

Bakugo: [Mutters] "Man, this is stupid. Why did I have to get sent somewhere else? Man! These villains are dickheads!"

It was as he screamed the final part that an explosion went off in the distance, immediately causing Bakugo and Kirishima to lift their heads. But whereas Kirishima questioned whether anyone was okay, Bakugo only saw it as a sign that the more time went by, the more he wasn't there to help (Y/n). After all, in the end, (Y/n) deserved nothing more than all of Bakugo's efforts. Besides, when times counted, (Y/n) was always there for Bakugo... Even when he didn't deserve it.

[Flashback: 12.5 Years Ago]

A look of fear was easily found on (Y/n)'s Five-Year-Old face as his body quaked. His surroundings were vast forests, just being out in these parts made him scared. What made it worse was in the direction he was looking in a parted fence with the signs 'No Entry'; and 'Do not go inside' hanging on them. Beyond it, more trees and the knowledge that no one, not even (Y/n), knew what would lie ahead. Yet, all he had to do was look a little to his left to see the boy he couldn't help but look up to. The boy who wasn't afraid of anything.

Bakugo: "Let's go kill the enemy!"

The way in which confidence drooled off Bakugo's personality as he acted tough and prime for his friends was truly a feat (Y/n) wished to have. Then again, he felt just as lucky to be allowed to play with Bakugo and his friends. Normally (Y/n) was just left to play with his brother, which wasn't bad, but still, being able to spend the day with someone as cool as Bakugo was always something he dreamed of. And now, he was living it. So he did his best to hide the fear inside as he followed the blonde and his friends through the parted fence.

Then again, (Y/n) wouldn't be the first person to follow Bakugo head on. After all, he was the type of person who succeed at everything he put his hand to. Yet he was a rascal who led the neighbourhood kids as their leader. Together they would get into trouble and have adventures, so it was no surprise that (Y/n) was more than thankful to be allowed a part of the fun. However, as much as (Y/n) looked up to Bakugo, and thought the world of him, there was always the noticeable aspect that Bakugo didn't care for (Y/n).

He only let him play with him and his friends because Bakugo liked having another weak kid praise him. Knowing as much only left Bakugo to take in all the praise around him, which would led him to attempt acts in which to show his might and show off to the kids who followed him. But one day, as these group of kids entered through a parted fence into the woods, Bakugo would understand the real meaning of friendship... and what it was like to have a friend when you really needed one. And it all started with a firework exploding in the air. Though, such was only achieved by the activation ofBakugo's Quirk.

"Wow, Bakugo. You're amazing!"

"Yeah! You're Quirk sure is amazing!"

"Of course it's amazing, we're talking about Bakugo here!"

The neighbourhood kids definitely agreed on such. Currently, Bakugo, his friends, and (Y/n) could be seen standing a small bridge that overshot a small river below them. The boys had wandered into the woods to light some fireworks one of Bakugo's friends had stolen from their Dad. But for (Y/n), the fireworks weren't the spectacle in which impressed him, it was how Bakugo used his Quirk. After all, at this point in his life, (Y/n) did not have a Quirk. So seeing one go to such lengths was incredible.

(Y/n): "You really are the best, Bakugo!"

A laugh echoed from the young blonde as he heard such. The cocky grin still ever present on his lips at such a young age as he turned to (Y/n).

Bakugo: "What? You only figuring that out now, Deku?"

(Y/n): [Chuckles Softly] "Come on, Bakugo, you know that's what Kaito calls me."

He nervously scratched the back of his head at hearing the name being called to him by Bakugo. Seeing the discomfort behind (Y/n)'s laugh only made Bakugo cackle more as he realized just how much better he was than (Y/n).

"Hey, Bakugo! Light another one!"

"Yeah! Use your cool Quirk to light more fireworks!"

Bakugo: "Haha! Alright! Alright! I'll show ya what I've got!"

With his grin only growing Bakugo turned around to grab another firework that was set inside a small plastic bag. However, in the process of reaching for the firework one of Bakugo's feet slipped out from underneath him. The sudden action came so fast that Bakugo wasn't able to steady himself. The young boy ends up tumbling forward, his face going straight over the edge of the bridge with rest of his body.

A loud scream flooded the air. It was the most embarrassing sound Bakugo had ever made. Seconds later the sound of a loud splash fills the air. Immediately everyone, including (Y/n), races to the edge to see what happened. Thankfully Bakugo was able to swim and make his way to the edge of the river, however, his focus was pulled back up above when the sound of laughter sounded. It was his 'friends' who caused the loud sound to fill the air.

"Hahaha! Look at Bakugo! He can't even get a firework properly!"

"You should have seen your face! Haha! You were so scared!"

"And did you hear his scream? It sounded so girly."

"Maybe he isn't as cool as we first thought."

All the words manage to hurt the normally proud Bakugo. But it was the last one which hurt the most. Because, despite his actions, all Bakugo really wanted was to seem cool in front of his friends. Yet, now, they saw him as nothing more than a fool. It broke him inside and made him truly hurt. That was until he lifted his head to see a hand stretched out from him. A hand that belonged to none other than (Y/n) himself.

For whereas the other kids remained on the bridge to laugh at Bakugo, (Y/n) was didn't even wait for Bakugo, the person he thought was so cool, to hit the water before he raced off to help him. And now he stood right in front of Bakugo, a smile on his face as he stretched his hand out for Bakugo. A hand which Bakugo reluctantly took. But instead of making fun of (Y/n), or pushing him away, Bakugpo just got out of the water and looked at the ground in dismay.

(Y/n): "Are you okay, Bakugo?"

Bakugo: "Am I okay? Pfft! Just get it on with, (Y/n)... Just laugh at me."

(Y/n): "Laugh at you? Why would I laugh?"

As soon as Bakugo heard that his eyes widened. His head lifting seconds later to look at the boy standing in front of him. Even now, (Y/n)'s smile remained.

Bakugo: "Don't... Don't you think I'm weird for falling and screaming?"

(Y/n): "No! I think you were cool, Bakugo. You're always cool!"Bakugo: "I'm... You think I'm cool?"

(Y/n): "Of course, I do! You're Bakugo! You're the coolest guy I know! Everyone knows that, even my little brother!"

It was at this moment that a strange feeling washed over Bakugo's body. He didn't know what to do. All he could do was look at (Y/n) and try to find any sense that what he was saying was nothing more than a joke. But that sense never came. The genuine smile remained on (Y/n)'s lips, and you know what... Bakugo smiled back.

[Flashback Over]

It was from that moment on that Bakugo stopped seeing (Y/n) as some weak person and actually started to treat him nicer. Now, Bakugo was still Bakugo, so he still teased (Y/n) here and there. But this time around, Bakugo made sure to smile at (Y/n) afterwards and tell him he was joking. And never once, did he call (Y/n) Deku again. But this was only the start of (Y/n)'s growing friendship with Bakugo. Over the years, Bakugo came to appreciate the young boy more and more. And through different events, he came to realize that (Y/n) truly was his best friend.

Whether it be (Y/n) offering Bakugo his Ice Cream when the latter had accidentally dropped his whilst playing at the park. Or (Y/n) purposely wetting his pants with water so Bakugo wouldn't be the only one to get laughed at after the blonde accidentally peed his pants from being scared by the lions that jumped out. It was moments that this that made Bakugo realize that no matter what he was going through, (Y/n) was always there for him. It was moments like this that made Bakugo realize, no matter what happened in life, he'd always have someone by his side.

So, if showing his thanks was by setting up his best friend with a girl, and always being there for him, well, Bakugo wouldn't let anything stop him from helping his friend, like (Y/n) helped him. No matter if it were villains, criminals, or scary animals. Bakugo would always be there for (Y/n), and it was due to this unwavering determination in his gut that made him push further as he raced off with Kirishima to find his best friend... and help him in any way he possibly could.

[Meanwhile with you]

Ten minutes or so passed by as (Y/n) continued his journey with the others in relative silence. It was in this time that (Y/n) began to mentally prepare himself for what he was about to face. And it was a good thing he started then, because now, as time caught up to him, he, and the others, finally reached the edge of the mountain range, where the rest of the students could be seen using a rockface as cover as they poked their heads over to see what was going down.

What they saw brought a wave of relief. For in the centre of USJ, Aizawa could still be seen standing tall over his opponents. Now even more villains could be seen lying on the ground in an unconscious state, they were soon joined by one more who was quickly delivered a fierce punch across the jaw by the badass teacher. Aizawa was clearly in full control, such was showcased as he jumped into the air, drawing the gaze of a duo of villains below.

But as their eyes followed him from below, they failed to notice the bandages Aizawa pulled from behind them. By the time they finally did notice, their bodies were already embraced by the straps, allowing Aizawa to use gravity to slam his body down onto their own. Smashing them into the ground effortlessly. Just seeing the sight was enough to bring about cheers from the hidden students.

Mineta: "Yes!"

Kaminari: "Aizawa is totally kicking serious butt!"

Jiro: "I can't believe he's holding his own."

Tsuyu: "He truly is deserving to be a hero. *Ribbit*"

Yaoyorozu: "So this is what the teachers of U.A. are capable of?"

All students watched on in complete awe. Then again, it was kinda hard not to when one man was taking on so many opponents at once. However, unlike the others, (Y/n) was more hesitant as to what he was seeing. Now, yes, while Aizawa was holding his own against the villains, much thanks to his Quirk. What (Y/n) realized, and the others seemed to ignore, is the fact that these villains were nothing but ground soldiers. Like pawns in chess.

They are plenty, but ultimately are easy to take out. That's why (Y/n) continued to watch the fight with waited breath. His gaze only perked up when he noticed a new opponent coming straight for Aizawa from behind. It was the figure with the decayed hands all over his body. The way he moved showed speed and precision unlike any of the other villains Aizawa had faced before.

(Y/n) didn't know why, but there was definitely something about this person that brought out something within himself. It was this weak feeling that made (Y/n) realize this person was no ordinary villain. However, Aizawa didn't seem to either care or notice such, as by the time he noticed the villain's approach. He, too, was fastly dashing towards him. However, this unknown villain seemed far ahead of the rest.

(???): "23 seconds."

The wind blew against his hair.

Aizawa: "The last boss."

Gripping two bandages he launches them forward, cutting through the air.

(???): "24 seconds."

Easily noticing the first bandage, the villain catches it with easy. Even though he notices such, Aizawa did not slow down his speed.

(???): "20 seconds."

The eyes of all students watch immediately widen as time slows down. By this point, Aizawa and the unknown villain were mere meters apart. In this state, the unknown villain takes the opportunity to reach out++for Aizawa, whilst the U.A. teacher instead goes to grasp the second bandage.

(???): "17 seconds."

Time was quick to pick up, enough that the onlooking crowd were able to see clearly enough as Aizawa dug his elbow into the gut of the villain, crunching his stomach. However, it didn't take long for the smiles to drop, and for (Y/n)'s eyes to narrow in on the scene for a closer look. For whereas at first glance it did appear like Aizawa's attack had made contact with the villain's gut, as everyone soon came to know, such was not the case. The look on Aizawa's face told the story, and as (Y/n) started to look closer, he noticed that somehow, in some way, the villain was able to grab Aizawa's elbow mere inches from his chest.

Aizawa: "...Dammit."

(???): [Chuckles] "You know, to some, it's hard to see because you keep moving around, but me, I was able to notice right away. I was able to notice... Your weakness."

As those final words entered the air, Aizawa's eyes opened in shock. His gaze looking up at the hand-clad face of the villain before him. And despite the decayed severed hand doing its best to hide his face, the U.A. teacher could still sense the grin behind it.

(???): "You see, there's an instant where your hair falls over your eyes. That's when you've finished an action. I merely needed the perfect opportunity to counter your weakness and use it to my advantage."

And that advantage was soon revealed, for out of nowhere a sudden pain was felt by Aizawa in his elbow, the one held tightly by the villain. All it took was for him to look down to see the effects of this villain's Quirk, as a pool of decay quickly spread about his appendage.

(???): "I noticed that the space between has gotten shorter and shorter. Maybe that's something for you to reflect on after today... Oh, wait. You won't be around after today."

From that point onward, the pain only grew worse. The decay effect soon tore away Aizawa's sleeve, revealing his skin to not only the villain but the world as well. All it took was a few more seconds for the horrifying sight of Aizawa's very flesh withering away to properly showcase this villain's true strength. The smile under the hand on his face continued to grow as he savoured the pain in Aizawa's bloodshot eyes.

(???): "Don't push yourself, Eraser Head."

"He...Hehe...HeheheHAHAHA!"

The maniacal laugh only sprouted further, terrifying the students that watched on from the edge of the mountain range. As for (Y/n), his fist only clenched in anger seeing a villain act so cocky like he had already won. It pissed (Y/n) off beyond belief when he saw someone act like that. But he was going to make sure that he wiped that smile of this bastard's face, so no one had to go through any more pain.

However, just as (Y/n) was in the process of getting to his feet, his attention, along with those beside him, was soon immediately drawn up the staircase near the entrance of USJ. A loud scream echoed from Thirteen as a portal opened from behind, causing violent winds to attempt to suck in the hero. However, sucking her in, it did not. Instead, the void villain searched for a more tortuous method, which came in the form of tearing the back of Thirteen's suit apart.

The white astronaut's outfit crumbled into pieces as more and more was pulled into the purple void, leaving a dark abyss within Thirteen's suit. From first inspection from (Y/n), it appeared as if Thirteen was previously using her Quirk to envelop the villain's misty body. However, the villain instead reversed the cards and was now tearing Thirteen's suit in half, much to the horror of the students who were still stationed with her.

Ashido: "Teacher!"

Sato: "NNNOOOOO!"

Iida: "You can't do this!"

Uraraka: "Thirteen!"

And just like that, the horror of the moment was set out for all to see. Aizawa'sarm was slowly crumbling and Thirteen had now been defeated. The only problem for (Y/n), however, was that the two situations were taking place in two completely different locations. On one hand, right in front of him, the villain causing Aizawa's arm was easily open for an attack. (Y/n) was sure he would be fast enough to take out the leader of this entire operation with one punch.

However, about a hundred meters away up the countless dozen of stairs, Thirteens shattered, yet still half intact, suit was lying on the ground. Her Quirk is now deactivated and her body hardly moving. The thing that brought enough shock to (Y/n), however, was the looming shadow villain that slowly approached the grieving students.

Shadow Villain: [Chuckles] "Well, well, well, children. It appears your class is over for the day. Now, why don't you all stand still so I can kill you? After all, there seems no better way to draw out All Might, no?"

As soon as the students heard that, they all began to fear for their lives. All the while this haunting figure made of shadows, with piercing yellow eyes, slowly neared them. It was in such a surreal moment that no one knew what to do. Even someone like Iida was speechless. Whilst Uraraka started questioning her life. And fearing she would never see her parents ever again. It was at this moment that all a lot of students wanted to do, was just cry. But for (Y/n), he used up all his tears a long time ago.

That's why, as everyone else feared for their lives, he was left stuck at a crossroads. Did he race off to defend his fellow classmates like a hero, something Izuku himself would do, or would he stay and take out the villain? To not only defeat him, but to make sure he never did something like this again... Even if it meant killing him. Something only an Anti-Hero would do. But despite the two opposites, he didn't know what to do. It was a moment like this, that (Y/n) felt helpless. At one end, he wanted to step out and take his first step in completing his life goal and killing this villain.

But not too far away, the cries of his friends could be heard. The people who had welcomed him with open arms after defeating Kaito in the exam. And Uraraka, someone who went to incredible lengths just to be his friend. He couldn't just forget about that now... Despite how much he could. But as time ticked on by, it seemed like no answer would come his way. However, it was in the darkest moments that a hero would rise to stop all evil. Well, in this case, it wasn't a hero, far from it, actually. But still, whether he was a hero or not, Kaito would make a fine distraction.

Kaito: "Hey! Over here ya freak!"

(???): "Huh?"

The villain momentarily turned his gaze from Aizawa to instead direct it to his left where a panting Kaito stood. A look of pure annoyance still filled his eyes as he pictured (Y/n), and the way everyone loved him. It made him sick inside, and only pushed him further through this moment.

Kaito: [Thoughts] "I'll show them. I'll show them all. (Y/n) is nothing. He's no hero. No rival. He's nothing compared to me! I'll save the day! I'll be the hero! Everyone will love me!"

However, whereas shock resonated amongst (Y/n) and the group with him, Aizawa cried out through his pain for Kaito to leave.

Aizawa: "Kaito! What are you doing?! Get away from here! Now!"

(???): [To Kaito] "You should listen to your teacher, boy. Otherwise, you don't know what mess you could get yourself into."

Kaito: "Pfft! Mess? From who? You? Or the ugly ass brute standing behind you?"

A brief glance was offered from the villain as he looked over his shoulder at the 'Ugly ass brute' Kaito had referred to. Seeing the blank expression on the monster though only brought a chuckle from the villain.

(???): "Hahaha... You heroes really do think you're the world, don't you?" [To Kaito] "Well then, boy, if you want to show us what you've got... Be my guess."

Aizawa: [To Kaito] "No!" [Turns to the villain] "You're fight's with me. Not with the kid!"

(???): "I'm sorry. But I've grown bored with you now."

Immediately following his words the villain proceeded to let go of Aizawa's elbow and stepped out of the way. The weakness in his legs caused Aizawa to drop to the ground. That was all he could do as sweat dripped down his face, his eyes glued to the scene of the villain slowly approaching Kaito.

(???): "Now then, boy... Show me everything you've got."

Kaito: [Thoughts] "Time to show everyone I'm better than (Y/n)." [Out Loud] "With pleasure, freak! AARRRGGGHHH!!!"

Launching off his feet into the air Kaito pulled his arm back and placed all his strength into it. A wall of fire immediately embraced the appendage as he neared the villain, who just continued to walk his way. No fear whatsoever rested on his face, even with the confident smirk Kaito showed. For to the young boy, this villain was an open target. He wasn't even attempting to block the attack. It was the perfect moment. Here and now, everyone would see him save the day and show the world that (Y/n) is nothing but a no good loser. This would be the moment Kaito would remember for the rest of his life.

Kaito: "Have fun in jail, freak! I'm sure you'll love the shit out of it!"

(???): [Tilts head] "Is that so?"

The smirk quickly shifted into a toothy grin as Kaito finally reached the villain, his fist then pushing forward, cutting through the air to collide with the villain's face... At least, that's what he thought at first. Kaito's grin soon dropped completely when he felt his body come to a halt, yet it still remained off the ground, and only lifted higher. That was when Kaito's face turned to complete shock when he realized he had been caught by the giant monster who he previously called 'ugly'.

The fear in Kaito's eyes only grew as the monster clenched down on his arm, the sound of muscles breaking caused a fierce scream to explode from his lips. As it happened, the villain covered in decayed hands merely looked up at Kaito's flailing body in glee. That was until he turned around to look at Aizawa's struggling body.

(???): "Oh, one thing I should mention. Before, when you said I was the last boss, you were wrong. I'm not the last boss. That would be Nomu here."

The giant creature immediately took notice to his name being called, confirming that it was indeed this destructive creature who was the one being referred to.

(???): "I'm sure you'll remember that name well. After all, once he kills this boy, he will then be the one to kill All Might. I do look forward to that moment."

(Y/n) on the other hand, had other ideas in mind. But seeing as all the villains on the ground were distracted with Kaito'spathetic attempt to save the day, it left (Y/n) open to go save the others, as he did so, however, the villain who's face was covered by decayed hands, turned his gaze back to the struggling Kaito who was still being held in the air by Nomu.

(???): "You know, despite your poor taste in choosing sides... You show quite some anger for a hero."

Kaito: "F-Fuck... You!"

Kaito struggled as he desperately tried to claw his arm out of Nomu's grasp. But nothing worked.

(???): [Chuckles] "And your tongue speaks even less for a hero. Well, in that case, why don't we deal with that first before killing you?"

It was with that statement that immediately opened the bully's eyes. So much so all Kaito could do was instantly stop his struggles and begin shaking his body about. Hoping, praying, that something would loosen. Just enough so he'd be able to free himself to run away. Yet, it seemed unlikely. Kaito's frightened gaze was glued to the villains approaching hand. With just one tongue, Kaito's life could be over. Seconds went by, time went still, the fear only growing inside of Kaito's body until finally, it reached its boiling point as the villain's hand finally touched his face...and nothing happened.

(???): [Sighs] "Damn it. You really are cool..."

Kaito's eyes perked open when he realized nothing happened. But as he did so, he realized the villain wasn't talking to him. But Aizawa. Not far behind, Aizawa used all his strength to lift his head to activate his Quirk. His bloodshot eyes focused solely on the villain that held Kaito's face. It was the only thing stopping Kaito from behind killed. And it annoyed the villain beyond belief.

(???): "Nothing can ever be easy, can it?" [Sighs] "Oh, well...Nomu. Go show this hero that not everybody gets a happy ending."

As he said this the villain let go of Kaito's face, as he did, so did Nomu. Kaito's body fell to the ground where he immediately clenched at his shattered arm. Whilst Nomu reached Aizawa in seconds. Without restraint, he grasped the head of the hero and began repeatedly slamming it into the ground. The sound echoed into the ears of the masked villain only simply scratched his neck as he watch. Meanwhile, not too far away, the shadow villain slowly stretched out a purple arm to reach for Uraraka's quaking body. A body which was currently stationed next to Thirteen's own body.

Shadow Villain: "You know, I do not take pleasure in killing children. But at the end of the day, this is but my calling for the greater good. So, please, little child, do not move. I do not wish to make this any more painful than it already has to be."

His words were soft in nature, yet, in some wicked way, that only made things worse. Uraraka couldn't find the strength to move, even as she and the others watched as the villain slowly reached out for her. Anyone standing around couldn't do anything. They could. But the fear of it all was holding them back from coming to their friend's aid. Such a realization brought tears to Uraraka's eyes. Eyes which she clenched tightly and sealed her tears away, hoping it would hide the pain as she muttered her last words.

Uraraka: "I-I-I... I don't wanna die..."

The words any happy person enjoying their life would say, however, unfortunately for Uraraka, it seemed as if her time was over for. That was until she realized no pain was coming her way. After a few seconds passed Uraraka really questioned whether or not this villain was playing with her before killing her. However, when a sudden wave of gasps and a loud bang sounded it immediately caused the girl to open her eyes, and what she saw brought a gasp of her own.

There, standing before her, protecting her, was a green wall. At least, that's what she thought it was at first. But as her gaze slowly rose, she began to realize just who it was. From the toned legs to the stoic backline, it all came together when her eyes reached the head of the figure who saved her. The neck drenched with the tattered yellow cloth of their scarf was all Uraraka needed to see to understand that the person who saved her... Was (Y/n).

The boy who had already saved her once, was there again, to defend her, to keep her safe. He was the one who stood between her and danger, and he did so without any fear in his eyes whatsoever. It immediately brought a surreal wave of energy to the young girl's body as she witnessed it. Her heart beginning to pump faster and faster as she couldn't help but realize how cool (Y/n) was in the moment. Unfortunately, her focus was taken away by the voice of Iida.

Iida: "(Y-Y/n)... You're here?"

Those seemed to be the only words anyone could say as they witnessed the bravery on display. Whereas everyone else cowered in place, (Y/n) stepped out before them, as any hero would. But in this moment, (Y/n) didn't see himself as a hero. He saw himself as making up for past mistakes. And this time, he wouldn't let fear consume him. Instead, he'd use it. Such was reminded when the voice of the villain called out before him.

Shadow Villain: "Well, look who we have here. The boy from before. You know, you did quite some damage to be earlier. My body is still running with your scars."

The green veins of energy showcased just as much.

Shadow Villain: "Unfortunately for you, I will not allow such an attack to come my way once more."

(Y/n): "Well, unfortunately for you, I no longer give a damn what you say. Not since you tried to hurt my friends and my teacher."

The eyes of everyone present, including Thirteen couldn't help but watch on in awe as (Y/n) faced the villain head-on. At this moment, he wasn't just a hero to Uraraka. He was a hero to everyone.

Shadow Villain: "You make a mistake of coming against me, child. You'd be right to fear me."

(Y/n): "Fear you? Pfft! There's no reason to fear you. Me on the other hand? Well, you should definitely fear me... For I Am Here."

The words similar to that of All Might immediately struck the cord of the villain, whilst giving smiles and hope to the students that watched on. Now, all that was left was for a full-out battle to take place, and with the nerve of the villain finally breaking, there was nothing left to hold him back. It all started with (Y/n) walking out, no fear coursing through his body whatsoever as music played through the earphones glued to his ears underneath his mask.

The tone set a perfect scale for what was about to come. Soft, '90s music filled his ears as the world around him became silent. Seeing the lazy style in which his opponent approached him angered the shadow villain who wasted no time in sending multiple tendrils of his abyss toward (Y/n). But again, no fear entered (Y/n)'s body as he activated his Quirk. Green and black Chaotic energy filling up his fists as he picked up the pace.

Shadow Villain: "This will be your end!"

(Y/n) didn't seem to think So, however. The young boy fluently dodging the first strike before sending an uppercut to the second tendril. The eyes of the students watching only widened further in awe as one of their own took on a full-blown villain. It was something they thought they'd never see before. Yet, here he was, doing exactly that. With his first attacks going a stray, the villain was quick to return counterfire. However, just like before, (Y/n) easily took them out as he turned into a running streak.

His body taking the form of a green blur as he staggered from side to side. For a moment it appeared as if (Y/n)'s body had phased in and out of reality momentarily, leading the villain's attacks to hit nothing but the thin air itself. The anger only continued to grow as each attack was missed, whilst (Y/n) just grew closer. Eventually (Y/n)'s speed had proved too much for the villain, within seconds his figure reappeared in front of the villain's very eyes. For a brief moment, he was given a front-row seat to the anger and power that fueled (Y/n)'s body.

The sight alone was enough, for such a brief moment, to give the villain a taste of fear. It was only brief because his conscious was soon focused entirely on the raging pain in the centre of his body upon noticing the strike (Y/n) delivered out of nowhere. However, unlike earlier, (Y/n) did not use his Nightmare Quirk. Instead, his right fist quickly fuzed itself with red sparkled energy, the signature trait of One For All being activated.

It was as that very power coursed through his body that (Y/n) sent a powerful strike so strong that it sent the villain flying off his very feet, if he had any, and was launched through the air. Not only did he collide with the door, but he outright smashed straight through it. The bang echoed for even those on the ground floor to hear. Despite being unable to clearly see what was going on, the villain with decayed hands knew that his partner had been taken out.

(???): "Well then, isn't this interesting."

It was as he said this that he removed his gaze from the entrance of USJ and turned it to look back at Aizawa. However, as the villain was in such a process, his gaze accidentally wandered passed the struggling teacher, only to set itself upon Mineta, who could be seen sticking his head out a little too far from behind the rock. It wasn't long before the young boy noticed his mistake and quickly shrivelled away upon being noticed.

But it was too late. With a tilt of his head, the villain slowly began to approach the hiding place of the students. Meanwhile, back near the entrance, a cloud of smoke resonates around (Y/n)'s body. But within the time the cloud begins to fade, allowing (Y/n) a clear view of the stunning day that set itself just outside the smashed doors of USJ. A little further outside, on the ground, the shadow villain's unconscious body lay.

When no movement came, (Y/n) blew a sigh of relief as he drew back his fist and turned around, only to instantly be greeted by the stunned faces of the Class 1-A students. The sight of their lips moving could be seen through his mask, including their happy smiles and cheers. Unfortunately, (Y/n) couldn't hear a single word that was being said. That was until he flicked back his mask and dislodged an earphone from his ear.

(Y/n): "...What?"

Sero: "Dude! That was awesome!"

Koda: "You totally just saved us right now!"

Aoyama: "You were spark-tacular!"

Hagakure: "You were really cool, (Y/n)!"

The array of compliments was definitely something (Y/n) wasn't expecting. So much so that he really didn't know what to do upon looking around at the faces before him. It wasn't until he felt a sudden pressure wrap around his body that (Y/n) finally set his sights on one thing in particular, and that one thing turned out to be none other than Uraraka herself. The young girl clinging to (Y/n)'s body as she cried into his chest.

The sight alone was enough to not only silence (Y/n), but the others watching around them. For such a surreal moment, to have something to bring you down to earth was definitely not expected. What was even less expected was Uraraka pulling her face to look up at (Y/n) with eyes full of tears. That was only the first wave of emotion the girl gave as she slammed her head back into (Y/n)'s chest.

Uraraka: "Thank you! Thank you for saving me, (Y/n)!"

The words mixed with the moment definitely made this scene one to be remembered. But hearing Uraraka scream the words as she cried was definitely something (Y/n) didn't want to see again. It left him running on a blank momentarily as he tried to figure out what to do. But as he looked down at her quaking head, and the sound of crying filled his ears, for a brief period the image of Uraraka swapped out for that of (Y/n)'s brother.

Izuku: "(Y/n)! Thank you! Thank you for saving me! You're my hero!"

The image of his brother was now all (Y/n) could see, as soon as he realized such he immediately pulled Uraraka into a tighter embrace, his mind mistaking her for his brother.

(Y/n): "Don't worry, I've got you..."

The soft words that came from (Y/n)'s mouth and entered Uraraka's ears were immediately enough for the young girl to snap open her eyes, the beat of her heart quickening even faster as she truly realized the moment she was in. (Y/n) was holding onto her. A boy had never done that to her before. Yet, right now, as (Y/n) did that very thing, it felt... Nice. Comforting...So much so Uraraka couldn't help but smile softly to herself as she savoured the hug for as long as it would possibly last. Unfortunately, the time for it to end eventually did come, with the pair pulling apart. Both parties find it hard to make eye contact at first. Eventually, it came to be after a few wayward glances toward the person opposite them.

(Y/n): "Y-You, um... You really alright?"

Uraraka: "Uh, yeah. I-I'm fine...Thanks! Uh, t-thanks again for, you know... For saving me. S-Sorry I had to make you do it again."

Lowering her head a wave of grief quickly found Uraraka's face. However, her head did not remain lowered for long as all it took was a simple hand on her shoulder for Uraraka to lift her line of sight to see (Y/n) offering her a gentle smile.

(Y/n): "You don't need to apologise for anything, okay? This wasn't your fault."

Uraraka: "B-But I made you save me again. That's like the third time again..... I don't want to feel like I'm forcing you to--"

(Y/n): "Uraraka. You're doing nothing to force me to do anything. I'm doing this because I hav--Because I want to. After all, we're friends, right? So it's only right that we help each other."

As soon as Uraraka heard the word 'friend' enter the air, immediately her tears were wiped away, replaced with a bright smile. The young girl was unable to find the right words, however. In the end, she merely nodded with determination. That was all (Y/n) needed before he stepped passed and went to take care of the remaining villains down below. As he did so, he came to a stop by Iida's side.

(Y/n): "You've got your exit opened right up for you. Use your Quirk and go get help. Okay?"

Iida: "U-Uh, I..." [Coughs] "Roger!"

A quick salute later and Iida took off out the destroyed front door to get help. Once done, (Y/n) then proceeded to make his way over to Thirteen's injured body, where a tearful Ashido and Hagakure sat beside her.

(Y/n): "You two look after Thirteen, alright? She'll be okay. Help will be here soon."

The girls merely nodded through their tears, thankful that (Y/n) was there to save them. A mere nod was all he gave in response before climbing to his feet and going to leave. However, before he could get much further he was suddenly stopped by a weak hand that reached out and grasped his wrist. A simple turn of his head was all it took for him to see Thirteen looking up at him through her helmet.

Thirteen: "(Y/n)... Please... Do be careful. These villains... Are no exams..."

(Y/n): "Don't worry, Teach. I'm the one that doesn't need to be careful. These villains are gonna be the ones who need to be careful." [Thoughts] "Because once I get my hands on them, I'll make sure this is the last bad thing they ever decide to do."

That was the final thing (Y/n) said before he continued on his way to the edge of the stairwell. Pulling his mask back over his head (Y/n) began searching for the villain who was being all of this. At first, he couldn't see him, but that soon quickly changed when (Y/n)'s eyes darted to the far left where the group of Yaoyorozu,

Tsuyu, Kaminari, Mineta, and Jiro all stood there in complete horror. The wicked smile crawled out from underneath the villain's mask as he slowly reached out for Tsuyu.

(???): "Look what we have here, it seems someone thought they could spy on us and get away?"

No response came. Even if the villain wanted one, he wouldn't get it. Tsuyu and the others were too consumed by the fear surrounding them. Just seeing such widened the villain's smile as he slowly reached out for Tsuyu. His fingers coming+within inches of her face when--

"Leave her alone!"

Immediately the villain's gaze was dispatched to the left. His head shifting within seconds to give him a front-row seat of the attack coming his way. There, quickly growing closer, the fist of (Y/n)'s right arm cut through the air as the young boy launched toward the villain.

[Your POV]

Some would call it a rookie mistake to make my presence known. But in this moment, I didn't really have a choice. All I could do was yell out as loud as I possibly could in hopes it'd take this guy's attention of Tsuyu and get him more interested in me so he wouldn't move his deadly touch closer to any of the others. Thankfully, it seemed to work. The villain quickly dropped his head and outright turned to me with a tilted head.

(???): "And who are you supposed to be? The main character?"

All I needed to do now was take this guy out and hope the others would flee in fear. Now seemed like the perfect opportunity. As I grew closer the villain didn't do anything. He didn't move. Or try to run. He didn't even attempt to block the attack. At first, I questioned why? Then I realized... He didn't have to. With a final scream, I pulled my fist back as far as I could before unleashing it forward. The power of One For All ran through my veins as my attack was unleashed, colliding with the villain's body causing a wall of smoke to surround his body.

The strike was so powerful in fact that it caused nearby villains, including Tsu and the others standing nearby, to get sent flying back due to how deadly the winds were. Even the lights were momentarily affected by the attack. The orbs that ran around the walls of USJ flickered on and off as the attack finally slowed down, with it, so did the wind. I could feel the intense pain running through my arm. It was pulsing like it was on fire. I struggled to keep it in place as I pushed as hard as I could into the villain's body.

Glancing around I saw the shock appear on the faces of my friends, despite being sent flying back, they were still excited to see that all of this was finally over... Or so I thought. A look of shock quickly thundered down onto me when the smoke cleared to reveal that my fist had not made contact with the masked villain's body, but the body of the giant monster, Nomu, instead. The vicious creature which carried a wicked smile towered over me. For once, in a very long time, the shock took control of me. But what scared me the most was how One For All seemed to do nothing against him.

(Y/n): "Wait. I-It... It didn't... It didn't hurt him?" [Thoughts] "Impossible."

The sudden shock of it all only continued to grow, in the end, my hand slowly began to draw backward on reflex. As it did, my mind was consumed by the earlier words of Tsuyu.

"Mineta. Don't you think they are trying so hard because they have a way to kill him?"

But there's no way. Just moments ago this... this monster was holding Kaito, and then suddenly he was here? There's no way this creature... Was as fast as All Might?

(???): "You move well. Your strike, it seems... Familiar? Are you, perhaps... A fan of All Might? Oh, well, it doesn't matter now..."

I was so consumed by the moment, and the words that were just spoken, that I didn't even notice Nomu move. But he did, and fast. Before I knew it his giant hand was clenching my arm. A seal is so tight that it felt as if the blood flow to my hand was instantly becoming cut off. But there was nothing I could do. In desperation, I sent further punches directly into Nomu's chest, but no effects were shown. I even used my Nightmare Quirk, punches and the touch, and nothing seemed to change.

When I realized that, fear was quickly starting to take its place over my life. Soon enough my body wouldn't even move for me. All I could do was watch on as Nomu lifted his free hand and clenched it into a fist. A strike was seconds away from coming straight for me... If it weren't for Tsuyu. Whereas I was still reeling from fear, Tsuyu, now some distance away from the villain, launched here tongue forward and went to wrap it around my body. Time slowed as each projectile neared me.

In the end, it seemed like all was lost, and soon enough I would be returning to see my brother soon. However, in the moments where all seemed lost, it's time like this where real friendship is shown.

"Yo! Dickhead!"

In seconds, the eyes of everyone, including myself, the masked villain, and Nomu turned in the direction the voice came from. And by the surprise of many. The person standing tall with no fear in a time like this... was Bakugo. A fierce look dawned in his eyes as he stared off with Nomu.

(???): "Another one, seriously? How many students wish to--"

Bakugo: "Hey! I didn't come here for your life story, dipshit! So, whoever you are, tell your husband standing next to you to drop my friend..."

"Before"

"I"

"Drop"

"Him."

I think it was safe to say, in this moment, a lot of people were shocked. But for me, in one way or another, despite the circumstances... I was just happy to have a friend like Bakugo by my side.

[And there we have it a 12k word chapter! I hope you all enjoyed! Next week will be the final for this ARC. I didn't want to push it for this week, so I hope what I was able to bring today was enjoyable on a whole lot of levels. I wanted to bring action and laughs whilst also some emotion with the backstory of Bakugo and the reader. Something I hope landed. But as we're speaking about Bakugo, a question is to be brought up.

Lately, I've seen some people ask if Bakugo could get with a girl of his own, so, I'll leave it all here... Would you guys like it if Bakubro had a girl?

A.) Yes.

B.) No.

Of course, majority of girls are in the harem. But that doesn't mean I don't have ideas. Whether it's an OC female character, or perhaps a less frequent girl that comes into the show later. I just thought that it could be something fun that you guys might like. So let me know! But, for now, I just want to thank you all for reading today's chapter. If you did enjoy, feel free to vote and comment.

These chapters seem to do pretty well which drives me to continuously upload this book every week, whilst going above and beyond with word count and consistency. So, yeah, if you wanna see that keep going, all support is welcomed. So, thank you, everyone, enjoy the week, and I'll see you in the next one with the epic climax to this Villain ARC! And trust me, there are some really badass moments coming that you won't want to miss!]
