The next day you slowly woke up as you felt the sun shining over your face, you stretched out while letting out a yawn
You threw your arm on the bed to search your phone when you finally felt it you grabbed it
When you turned it on you noticed that it wasn't your phone but rather Gojo's with still your picture as his lock screen
You saw that it was 8 am you let out a sigh before throwing the phone on the bed
"Can't he just remove the picture from his phone" you mumbled while sitting up
You looked around yourself and noticed that Gojo wasn't in bed anymore you looked at your nightstand and saw the cookies were still there so you decided to eat some of them
As you took a bite of your cookies Gojo came out of the dressing room with a black t-shirt, grey sweatpants and a white towel around his neck
His hair were wet and a few droplets of water were falling down, making it known that he just took a shower
"You're finally awake" he said before using the towel on his hair
You nodded while continuing to eat the cookies
"I didn't know what you wanted to eat for breakfast so I didn't order anything and since I'm not good at cooking I waited for you to wake up"
"I'm not picky you could've ordered anything and I would've ate it" you chuckled
He threw his head back before letting out a sigh
You stood up before going to the bathroom "just wait a moment I'll prepare something"
You heard him giggle before he left the room
The bathroom was still full of steam you washed you face, brushed your teeth and your hair before putting on your clothes from yesterday
You searched through the apartment for a few minutes before finally finding the kitchen Gojo was sitting at the counter playing video games on his phone you rolled up the sleeves of your shirt before going to the fridge
When you opened it your eyes widened at how full and organised everything was You looked at it for a few seconds before asking "do you eat all of this by yourself?"
Gojo raised his head to look at your direction before saying "nah I've got people that do my groceries and if I don't finish what's in the fridge they'll just take the food for them and maybe their families I don't know"
You took an egg, milk and some butter from the fridge before closing it and putting the egg, butter and milk on the counter
Gojo put down his phone to look at what you were doing, you put your hands over your hips while looking around the kitchen before asking "where's the flour and sugar?... do you have some baking powder too?"
He chuckled at the sight of you in his kitchen ready to cook for him "I don't know maybe near the stove..." you opened almost every cupboard and drawers of the kitchen taking out a pan and finally finding the rest of the ingredients
Gojo arched an eyebrow while also smirking before asking "what is my cook gonna prepare for me" he said while licking his bottom lip
You took the pan and faked throwing it at him, he didn't flinch since he knew it wouldn't touch him which made you roll your eyes
"Well at the beginning I wanted to do some scrambled eggs but then I remembered you had a sweet tooth and so I decided to do some pancakes"
His eyes lit up at what you just said which made his eyes more mesmerising than what they already were
"Do you usually don't wear your glasses or blindfold at home ?" You asked since you got worried to find yourself staring at him for too long because of his eyes
"I woke up maybe like an hour or so ago so it's not really bothering me for now, why is it bothering you" he said in a teasing tone while flickering his eyelashes
You turned around and started to prepare the pancakes
"How long will it take, I'm hungry" he whined
"I don't know probably 20 minutes or so"
He let out a sigh before going back on his phone. after a few minutes you turned around and said "hey you know when I woke up I searched for my phone to check the time but unfortunately I didn't find it but you know what else I found?... YOUR phone..."
Gojo looked at you with his mouth open not knowing what to say before he slowly started to stand up to leave
"HEY GET BACK HERE" you shouted as he ran out of the kitchen
You sighed before going back to the pan where the pancakes were cooking you looked at them for a moment as you started to think about what happened yesterday
You didn't know what to do, Gojo decided to act as if nothing happened which became almost normal for you every time something slightly negative or sensible happened between the both of you he would just act as if nothing happened afterwards
You didn't usually mind it but this time you didn't know what to think, it was so sudden and you really felt like shit
Your first time was actually an assault. You turned the pancakes over before tears started to fall down your cheeks
You kept wiping your tears as you tried to not show your crying
"I- I can't... I can't stop" you mumbled between your sobs as you put your right hand over your mouth to keep your sobs discreet while your left hand kept on wiping your tears
"is it ready?"
When you heard Gojo's voice from the doorway you accidentally grabbed the handle from the pan too close to the heating board and burned yourself
"Ouch" you said while putting your finger in your mouth
You then felt Gojo's hand grab your arm "you burned yourself? Show me"
You didn't want him to see your face, not like this so you pushed him and went to the bathroom, on your way out of the kitchen you said with a shaky voice "I'll go put my fingers under the water... meanwhile remove the pancakes from the pan"
When you arrived to the bathroom you locked the door behind you, you put your fingers under cold water, you could feel them throb because of the sudden coldness
You looked at yourself and saw your red puffy eyes and remembered the reason of your crying and how you learned it "you got sexually assaulted " those words that Gojo said the night before played over and over again inside your head
Your crying started once again you Removed your fingers and closed the water before slowly sitting on the floor
You started breathing heavily while remembering that day 4 years ago the noises small parts came back and felt like slaps accros the face "why...why now?" you mumbled as you started to cough through your sobs
Your body slowly became limp as you fell to the ground You crawled to the toilet before raising it's lid you kept on coughing before you started throwing up
While you kept throwing up you heard knocks on the door followed by a voice "y/n ?"
You stopped vomiting but even though nothing came out of your mouth your body kept on making you try to throw up
After a few seconds the handle started to roughly shake you finally stopped throwing up before standing up to flush the toilet
"I'm... I'm okay"
You leaned over your arms that was holding the sink counter
"Open the door" he firmly said still shaking the handle
"I'll come out after a little while... go eat your pancakes" you said while opening the water to rinse your mouth and face
After you did so you sat back down on the ground to get your thoughts straight before going out
You sat down and leaned your back against the door and brought up your knees to your face
after a few seconds of heavy breathing Gojo appeared in front of you with a worried and annoyed expression on his face that just made you feel embarrassed of your current state
you stood up as if nothing happened before saying in an aggressive tone "What is wrong with you! I could've been changing" You didn't face him as you brushed off the dust from your clothes
"You know that even if you don't have any cursed energy you still have some residual of it... that means I can still see what you do"
You raised your head to look at him with a shocked expression "YOU CAN DO THAT ?!"
He stayed silent as he saw your eyes that were still a little bit red
"I'm sorry..." he said before putting his hand behind your head
You furrowed your brows as you didn't understand why exactly was he apologizing for but before you could ask him he pushed you into his arms for a tight hug
You clenched your fists your emotions were just one big mess as you felt angry insecure and disappointed in yourself you hated what Gojo just did "it doesn't look like him" is what you thought about his recent actions
"I hate you..." you said as you gritted your teeth, you became more and more annoyed by Gojo's actions
He looked down at you with a confused expression "what?..."
"Why can't you just act like you normally do ?"
"Hold on... I don't understand what do you mean by act normally?"
"I mean why are you so serious and kind"
"Why do you say that, I'm not usually mean... or am I ?" He said before looking at the ceiling to think about it
"You're supposed to be self centered and arrogant and childish but with me you're always serious you just keep on talking about curses, the book and how I need to help you" you both stayed silent as Gojo was thinking about what you just said "am I really childish?"
You interrupted his thoughts when you asked "why are you like this?....Why did you change?" Your voice was low and shaky as your eyes started to get watery
you remembered all the nights you spend with Gojo listening to him While he made you laugh with his jokes and stories
Those nights were the best since you didn't think of anything else and felt for the first time in a very long time sincerely happy without the need of alcohol or drugs
"Damn... i don't really know what to say" he confessed
You started to cry he tightened his grip around you before saying "hey look I know it might be annoying but you can't just let people die"
"It's not fair that you're like this only with me" you cried onto his black t-shirt wetting it
"How do you want me to be ?" He asked wondering if it would help you
"I don't know... It's just that it's too much"
Gojo put his hand over your hair slowly stroking it, he felt bad about your situation you didn't choose to get here and he knew that fighting curses wasn't easy and even though you weren't directly fighting, a lot of lives still were depending on you
He understood this feeling, as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer a lot of people depends on him but the difference was that he made the choice to live this life whereas you on the other hand had no choice
When he thought about it, you remembered him of someone...
"I'm scared..." your sobs became louder as you became more and more comfortable
"And it's normal you shouldn't think too much about it"
"HOW ? Everything depends on me"
"Did you forget about me? the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the world, nothing and no one can beat me so don't worry" he said in a joyful tone to try to cheer you up
When he said that your thought shifted to Suguru and Kenjaku which just made you stress even more
Your crying didn't stop nor decreased and Gojo kept on stroking your hair "for how long were you feeling like this?" He asked
"I don't know... it's just that I thought about what you said yesterday and everything felt so much more stressful"
He let out a sigh as he already suspected, what happened yesterday was the reason of your current state "I'm sorry for yesterday i probably was too blunt..."
What you didn't know was that Gojo almost didn't sleep at all that night after what you told him, he firmly believes that youth is one of the most important thing in life and taking it away from someone is unacceptable for him
He hated the fact that he couldn't do anything to fix what happened to you, his head was filled with negative thoughts all night but no matter how bad he felt for you at the end of the day he truly felt powerless
The last time he felt that way was when his high school best friend suddenly became a mass murderer and a curse user, he always believed that it was his fault, because he thought that if he talked to him or maybe was more attentive, he probably could've stopped him from doing this and at the same time avoid his death
You wrapped your arms around his body holding as tightly as you could while you had your meltdown
You both stayed like this for a few minutes before you finally calmed down
He then slowly lowered himself as he put one arm behind your legs and the other supporting your back as you put your arms around his neck Before he carried you to the room
He carefully laid you down on the bed before covering you with the blanket
You didn't move nor speak as you felt exhausted from the rush of emotions you just experienced
Gojo sat next to you with his hand over your head discreetly smiling at you
Your eyes were closed as you tried to take a nap to fully recover from everything that just happened
"I wish I could stay but I gotta check on yuji and a bunch of other stuff" he waited for an answer but nothing came out of your mouth
He stood up before going near the window to take a look at the breathtaking view of the busy city
"You can stay here for now... when I come back later I'll take you back to the school"
You listened to him but didn't find the need to answer, he looked back at you but finally lost hope to get an answer
He started making his way out of the room before saying "there's some pancakes in the kitchen so don't expect any pastry when I come back"
When he finally left you opened your eyes before turning on your back to face the ceiling
You breathed deeply for a few seconds before closing again your eyes
"I'm gonna take a small nap" you mumbled before slowly falling asleep
