When we returned to the mansion, the paparazzi and the reporters swarmed the gate. We got inside safe and sound while the guards held them off at gunpoint. After today, I need a nice long nap to sleep this off.

"Whatever the sentence is, she deserves it; that bitch doesn't deserve to walk away free," said Whitney

"Let's not worry about that, guys; she's in prison, and let's try to turn things into a positive. We agreed to have a Movie night, remember?" I said

As we all watched a series of horror films, I saw how cute Whitney and Blake were. They looked so in love with each other. As Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors played, I felt Lucifer's hand caressing my thighs and his hand going under my dress. I could feel his hand touch my lace p**ties. FUCK ME..must he do this when our friends are here? I could feel his hand going over. If he doesn't stop, I'll pounce him right here. I removed his hand, and he chuckled.

Whitney chuckled. She knew Lucifer was trying to make my ovaries explode.

We all enjoyed ourselves watching horror films. I needed this to get my mind off what happened today. I still can't believe that evil bitch hired a hitman to murder r me. She's going to rot in hell for this. I could see Whitney and Blake asleep, as well as Stella and A ton. Bumblebee also fell asleep, her head resting against my chest; I rubbed her back and played in her hair. I, too, was about to fall asleep as well until...
"My lord, you and Lady Winston have guests. They are in the lounge," said the Housekeeper
"Very well, I'll be there in a bit," I said
I laid her down on the couch to rest with her. Once I entered the foyer, It was her former-in-laws: Mr and Mrs. Clifford.
"Doctor and Mrs. Clifford, to what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked
"Hello, Lucifer; sorry to show up unannounced, but we had to come and see you and Lina," said Susan
"How is she doing? We heard what happened," asked Thomas
"She's progressing; we all can't believe that your son's ex-mistress wanted her dead," I said
"I always knew that girl was toxic; I just never knew she was this psychopathic," said Susan
"I agree, all to make a guy love her who hated her guts," I said
"We'll make sure she gets the proper punishment she deserves. No one, and I mean no one, hurts our daughter," said Thomas
"I couldn't agree more," I said
"The other reason we came is to inform Lina about our son," said Susan.
"What about him?" I asked

"Our son Michael has OLD: Obsessive Love Disorder," said Thomas
"I'm sure you know Michael is delusional and obsessed with Lina," said Susan
"He's dangerously obsessed with her and believes that she still loves him even though she doesn't," said Thomas
"I'm fully aware, as is she," I said
"Believe me, we have gotten him help, and he was doing well for years even after they were married, but once they divorced, he began to make it his life's mission to make her his again," said Susan
"Yeah, once they divorced, we've fought hard to convince him to move on and let her go, but he won't listen. We are trying to protect Lina from him," said Thomas
"We didn't want a repeat of what he did to his last girlfriend," said Susan
"Last Girlfriend? what do you mean?" I asked,
"Susan? Thomas?" said Lina
We all turned around and saw my Bumblebee with the others.
"Lina, so glad you alright," said Susan

"We also came here to warn you and Lucifer about our son," said Thomas

It started when Michael was completing his last year in Med School. He was dating one of his classmates studying to become a podiatrist. Her name was Lila.
Like our son, she was one of the most intelligent kids in med school. They hit it off immediately and became a couple. We met her, and she was a lovely girl. We were happy for our little boy. They dated since their first year in med school. When graduation came along, Michael was offered his residency at one of NY's top hospitals. Still, Christine was offered a residency position at one of the best hospitals in British Columbia, Canada. Christine wanted to work long-distance, but Michael didn't want that. He wanted her to move to NYC with him, but she refused.
Weeks after graduation, He tried to persuade her not to go to British Columbia, but she refused because it was her dream. He began being so obsessive and controlling, jealous when she would talk to other guys. He felt she would cheat on him or leave him, but we told him he was being paranoid.

One day, when she and he were out having fun, she was talking to one of her old classmates; he became increasingly jealous and punched her male classmate, thinking he was flirting with her. Christine was terrified and angry that she broke up with him that day. He wouldn't accept that. He began to stalk her, text her like crazy, and leave her flowers and gifts outside her apartment, but she refused to give him another chance.
She became so afraid to leave her house and go anywhere that she began to have things delivered, groceries, packages, etc, returned to her apartment building. Two days before she was to leave for British Columbia to start her residency, she found a letter and rose on her car:
She became so perplexed and terrified that she filed a restraining order, changed her name and everything, left town, and we never saw her again. We sent our son to a mental health clinic and therapy to help him. It worked, and he became a better man.

When he and Lina met, he was so happy and loved her. She made him a better person. We love her so much, but when they divorced, we supported her, but we had no idea he would stoop so low when he sexually assaulted her. We come to you, Lucifer, to watch out for him and protect her. He's lost our support the day he tried to harm Lina. We fear he might try something.

After hearing them tell me this, I can see why this bastard is so obsessed with my Bumblebee; He's f**king sick in the head. He needs a mental asylum. I'm happy that her former-in-law told me this. Now, I must protect her more and ensure he doesn't try anything.
"I appreciate you are telling me this; I can't believe he's done this before. Worse, to his former girlfriend," she said
"We're sorry we haven't told you. After he went to therapy and a clinic, it was like he was his old self again, and we felt he was finally cured," said Susan
"It's not your fault at all; Michael knew exactly what he was doing and has shown no remorse or regret, but I promise alert," she said
"You're not angry at us?" asked Susan
"Why would I be angry? It wasn't your fault; you both tried to help him, but he chose to do these bad things alone. But I could never hate or be angry with you guys; you have been like a mother and father to me than my birth parents. I love you both. Yo," she said
Clifford was brought to tears by her sweet words. Bumblebee truly loved them and considered them her birth parents. They still call her their daughter even after she divorced their son. They stayed for dinner, and the nine of us enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner together in the dining hall.
Meanwhile, at the Police Station,

We've successfully captured Victor and Bethany. It's so unjust, heinous, and unlikely for a pregnant woman to commit such a horrific crime. The Captain, Hector, and I held her in for questioning while her parents were waiting out in the hallway. Victor confessed everything that happened up until the attempted murder.
"Ms. Collins, do you know why you're here with us?" asked Hector
She was sad and numb. She couldn't speak.
"Well, let us tell you. You here because you are charged with Attempted Murder, Hire Crime, and Forgery," said Police Captain
"We just want to know why you did this, Ms. Collins. Why would you want to kill someone?" I asked
'I-I-I was jealous. I just wanted Michael all to myself. He was still obsessing over her. I just wanted her out of the picture," Bethany said sadly.
"So let me guess this straight? You were madly in love with a married man who didn't love you. The same man whom you deceived to make him think you were carrying his child. The same man who is now the ex-husband of the woman dating Lucifer Morningstar?" said the Captian.
"You wanted her dead because Mr. Cifford was still in love with her and not you? Let me ask: if you had succeeded, do you think he would've fallen into your arms, and you two would live happily ever after?" I asked
"W-well.." said Bethany
"Ma'am, what you did has severe consequences. You hired a hitman to kill an innocent woman, and on top of that, you forged a fake eviction letter to convince Mr. Clifford to let you move back in with him," said Kat
"I-I'm so sorry; I realized after she got me to the hospital how wrong I was. I also thought she was still in love with him, but I was wrong. " Bethany cried
"We understand that, but that doesn't excuse your actions. Ms. Winston taking you to the hospital when you were in labor shows you how there are good people in this world. What you've done will not be ignored," said Hector
"W-what about my baby? My baby girl?" Bethany asked
"As far as we know, your daughter is in the custody of the father and the grandparents," said Kat
"Bethany Louise Collins, you are charged with Attempted Murder, Hire Crime, and Forgery. You'll placed at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women until trial. You'll be transferred effective immediately.

I sat in a jail cell, awaiting the transfer to prison. As I stood, I began reflecting on my actions and mistakes. I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed of what I did. Ashamed of the person I've become. Worst, I'm facing a lot of prison time, and my daughter will have to grow up without me—my sweet baby girl Hope. If I ever get out of prison, she'll be a teenager. She will be disappointed in me. My parents are probably disappointed in me, and so is Chris. He probably found out Hope is his daughter. God, what have I done? Why did it have to be this way?
"You have visitors," said Officer
As soon as he left, I was visited by Chris. Oh no

I walked in and saw her in an orange jumpsuit. She deserves more than this. I felt anger, hatred, and disgust. How could she do this? How could she keep the truth from me? How could she try to kill someone?! She's inhumane. I felt nothing but absolute anger and hatred for Bethany.
"C-Chris, I-" she stuttered
"Shut up," I said cruelly
"How could you do this? How could you keep this from me? You knew I was the father, and you kept it hidden from me?! You made me believe the baby was Michael's! On top of that, you committed not one but two crimes and a felony! Why would you do this?!" I yelled
"I'm so sorry Chris, I just I've been in love with Michael all these years and I thought the baby was his, but when he did a DNA test, it confirmed he wasn't the baby, then I realized that the baby was none other than yours," she said
"And you didn't think to tell me? No, you chose to lie and keep it a secret! You even tried to have Evangelina killed! How could you do this? She's done nothing to you!" I yelled
"She took Michael from me. I've loved him since we were kids, but he chose her instead. He was still madly in love with her, and I thought she was still in love with him, but I realized I was wrong. I just wanted her out of the picture," she said
"YOU'RE F**KING SICK IN THE HEAD!" I yelled
"What would make you think that Lina was still in love with him if she's dating Lucifer Morningstar? You seem to forget that when they danced at the Charity ball, he kissed her in front of everyone and protected her from Michael's clutches. So how could she still be in love with a man who assaulted her?" I said
She went silent. She didn't think it through. Her mind was getting Michael to herself and getting rid of Lina.
"You're unbelievable, Bethany; I thought at first you were crazy, but now I see you are just a psychopathic bitch and a liar! You kept the pregnancy from me! I came here to tell you that I'm taking full custody and responsibility for MY daughter, Hope. My daughter doesn't deserve to have a killer for a mother! You don't deserve to be a mother!
Before I turned on my heels and left, she pleaded with me
"Chris, I am sorry what I've done. I know what I did was inexcusable, but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," she asked
I looked at her coldly. Forgive her? After all she's done, this is something that won't be surpassed
"I'll never forgive you, Bethany," I said
"If you'll excuse me, I'm going to take my daughter home," I said, and then I left her there to weep in sorrow.
I don't regret not forgiving her; she doesn't deserve forgiveness for her actions. I'll do everything I can to give my daughter a great life. I'll tell her the truth about her mother when she's older. As I began to leave, I was greeted by Mayor Collins himself.
"Hello, Chris," he said
"Hello, sir," I said
"I overheard everything between you and my daughter. I want you to know that you have my full support. I want to be present in my granddaughter's life; I'm willing to help you and be there in every way if you'll allow me?" he asked.
"I'd like that a lot, sir; I want nothing but the best for Hope; having her grandparents in her life will make her so happy," I said
"Just me, I'm divorcing Tiffany. I'm done with her toxic behavior. She will not be present, but I will be there for you both. You have my word," he said
"Thank you, sir; I'll take Hope to see my parents," I said
"Very well, I'm going to see Bethany," he said

After Chris, I was saddened and hurt by his words. He chose not to forgive me. Then again, I couldn't blame him. I wouldn't forgive me either. He was right; my daughter doesn't deserve a mother like me. Could this day get any worse?
"Bethany?" said Mayor Collins
"Daddy?! Are you here to bail me out? Where's Mom?" I asked
"One, your mother has moved out, I'm sending her divorce papers," he said
"You're getting divorced?!" I said
"It was a long time coming; I didn't marry your mother because she was pregnant with you. I married her out of love, but it's clear she only wanted me for my money. I can see where you get your genes from. Besides, I found out she had a lover when I was away for work."
I was stunned in silence. My father is divorcing my mother.
"At least she didn't try to commit murder," he said
"I can't believe you did all this! After everything that has happened and what you did, I can't believe you are my daughter. I had hoped and prayed that you would never become like your mother, but you are clearly like her, except you sunk low. You hired someone to kill an innocent woman. You attempted murder. Do you honestly think I'm going to bail you out?" he said
"Please, Daddy, just let me come home until the trial date, please? I pleaded
"Not happening; you and that bastard will suffer the consequences. Our lawyers reviewed the penalties; you're looking at 20-25 years, but ultimately, the judge makes the final call. My granddaughter will be just fine with your real father. " he said
"I'm so disappointed in you, Bethany," he said
"Daddy, please," I said
"No! You've lied, manipulated, deceived, and hurt an innocent woman. You fooled all of us. As of right now, you are no longer my daughter. " he said
"Daddy, no! Please!" I cried
"It's already done. I've had my will changed and everything. After my death, Your trust fund and inheritance will be given to my granddaughter. Everything I own will be left to her. You nor your mother don't deserve a dime of my wealth. You have tarnished the family name." he said
"I'll see you at your trial, Bethany," he said
My father had left, and once again, my heart was broken. I've lost everything: the guy I loved, my daughter, and now my parents.
Back at Michael's Condo

Now that Bethany is out of the picture, Sergei is on his way; I need Sergei to proceed to kidnap her as soon as possible. I do whatever It takes to have her back in my life. Morningstar's words still echo through my head: Get over yourself. She will never be yours again!
Morningstar thinks I'll quit, but he's mistaken; having money, being assertive, and being feared isn't stopping me. Lina will be mine again. I've got everything planned out: I plan to take her out of the country to Germany to start a new life together, just the two of us. No one will get in my way.
30 Minutes Later,
Once Sergei arrived, I needed to find out what the delay was.
"I just wanted to know how long it will take to kidnap Evangelina?" I asked
"Don't rush me; you forget who I am," he said
"My men will proceed to kidnap her again. They failed the first time, but they were ambushed, and one was killed; you could've mentioned your ex-wife is dating Lucifer Morningstar." He said
"I didn't think it was a big deal, and what about him?" I asked
"A big deal? You idiot! Morningstar and I have an understanding. He's more powerful than me and the other mafias! You have no idea what he's capable of! We'll kidnap your ex-wife, but after that, you are on your own, deal?" he asked
"Deal," I said
"Also, if you mention this to the cops or anyone about our agreement, You and your ex-wife are history! That's a bloody promise!" he yelled.
"You have my word," I said
"Good, I'll inform you once it's complete," he said

9:30 pm
Meanwhile at Evangelina's parents Townhouse,

Slyvia and I were relieved and restless. We are rid that the police arrested the woman who attempted to murder Lina. We're relieved that she's alive and that this person has been brought to justice. We've tried calling Lina, but she didn't answer. We're restless because we've signed Genevieve's life away. Sergei has forced us to marry her to his son. We haven't told her yet, and we're honestly afraid. We've lost one daughter; we don't want to lose another. This whole situation is a mess.
"We have to tell her, Marcus," said Slyvia
"It's not the right time, hon," I said
"We have to tell her the truth eventually. What will happen when she's eighteen? Sergei will come here and have her taken from us?!" asked Slyvia
"There must be another way to get Gigi out of this marriage," I said
"We can't leave town or flee the country; Sergei's eyes and ears are everywhere. We're trapped. We still don't know who paid off our debt to him," she said
"I wish I hadn't borrowed money from Sergei. We wouldn't be in this mess if I hadn't approached him. Gigi wouldn't be in this mess." I said
"We have to tell her, Marcus, if she finds out from someone else, it will be much worse," she said
*Doorbell ring*
"Are you expecting anyone?" I asked
"No, must be one of Gigi's friends," she said
"Ugh, Mom, Dad," said Gigi
We both entered the living room area when Gigi was, and we were met with Sergei, but he wasn't alone.
"Marcus, Slyvia, you both are looking well," said Sergei
"Geneieve, why don't you go to your room," I said
"Your daughter can stay," said Sergei
"What's this about?" she asked
"I thought I'd swing by with my son so he can meet his future wife," said Sergei
"Future wife? What is he talking about, guys?" asked Gigi
"I see you haven't told her yet. Allow me. I'm the Godfather of the Five Families: Sergei Vasiliev, and this is my son and heir, Tyler Vasiliev, your future husband."
"W-what are you talking about? Mom! Dad! what is he talking about?!" yelled Gigi
*deep breathes*
"Sweetie, believe us when we say we didn't want this for you. We are against it, but we weren't given a choice," said Slyvia
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Allow me to clarify, young lady, your father borrowed $5 million from me to save their failing businesses and bankruptcy. Although it's paid in full, the interest charge is that you marry my son when you turn 18," he said
"You lying. Tell me he's lying, Dad! It's not true." she pleaded
"Gigi, we're so sorry, but what he says is true. I did borrow millions from him to help us stay afloat, but we are still against this whole ordeal," I said
"I-I can't believe you two would do this! Deciding my future! Borrowing money from the Mafia! I can't believe you both are my parents!" she yelled
"I understand when it is hard to hear the truth," said Sergei
"YOU SHUT THE F**K UP YOU OLD C**T" she yelled
"Gigi!" yelled Slyvia
Sergei went angry and silent. Tyler stood there in silence.
"I can't believe this! I can't believe you both! You ruined my life!" she yelled.
"Honey, please, we didn't want this for you," I said
"Well, it's too late now; this is all your fault! I can't even look at you both," she yelled
"Sweetie," said Slyvia
"Save it! I HATE YOU BOTH!" she yelled before running out in tears
"Well, that went well," said Sergei
"Perhaps I should talk to her," said Tyler
"Probably not a good idea," said Slyvia
"Let's go, son, we've overstayed our welcome. We'll be in touch to discuss the future wedding plans," said Sergei

I'm so angry and disappointed in my parents. How could they do this to me? It was bad enough of what to did to Lina and now this! I can't marry a stranger I don't know. I'll never forgive them for this. It's their fault! I needed to get out of here. I quickly packed a duffle bag, climbed out the window, and ran. I ran through the city as it was raining until I arrived at Morningstar's Mansion.
10 pm
(Evangelina)
The girls and guys left a while ago. Lucifer spooned me in bed. He was sound asleep, with his light snores. I couldn't sleep; I turned over to face him. I rubbed his back and caressed his face. This man was so handsome and so cute when he slept. His eyelashes were refined, his lower lip was smooth, and his entire muscline face mesmerizing. I've always been attracted to men with long hair; his hair was smooth as silk. I love this man so much. I could see myself having a future with him. He would make a fantastic husband and father.
I do want children. I've always wanted to be a mother. I'm happy I didn't bear Michael's children. If I did, I knew I would never be free of him and probably never would've met Lucifer. Whitney was right; people in committed, long-term relationships have children, whether married or not. Lucifer has told me he wanted to have children. Perhaps we can try to have one soon. I lightly kissed his forehead.
I almost fell back to sleep until I heard the doorbell ring. Who could that be at this hour? I tried to get up, but Lucifer's arm was heavy. I could feel him clutching onto me. *giggles* I carefully removed myself from his embrace and put on my robe. I headed to the front of the house. Once I opened it, I couldn't believe my eyes.
My little sister Genevieve was standing before me, crying in the rain. What the hell?!
"L-Lina...I'm sorry to drop in on you like this, but I need your help," she stuttered.
"What's wrong?! What happened?!" I asked
I led her inside so she wouldn't catch a cold. I got her a blanket.
"Tell me what happened," I asked.
"M-Mom and D-Dad sold me. They signed off to marry the Mafia's son," she stuttered.
