Trace your lips over my skin, breathe me in.
Let our bodies say the words that we never can.
Lose yourself inside of me and embrace what we could be.
I promised you I'd always wait
Another promise you've forced me to break.
You left and went, finding someone new.
Now I'm stuck sitting here with all the reminders of you.
You lied to me.
You promised me forever.
Forever only lasted a summer
Before you went and wed her in the winter.
