"mornin." matt smiles lightly.
"hi matt." i say sleepily.
"did you have a good sleep?" matt says lying down beside me again.
"yeah, i actually did. your beds so comfy." i say sitting up.
"is my bed comfy? or was it my chest?" he says laughing.
"your chest is pretty comfy too." i say smiling.
"guess what day it is." matt says holding my hand.
"uhh idk thursday? tuesday?" i laugh.
"no, friday." he laughs.
"ohhhh! we're going for dinner today." i say laughing.
"yes we're re going at 5:30, now you need to get better at your days of the week." he says laughing.
i also laugh as i shove my head into his chest making him fall back and i'm lying on top of him.
"what time is it?" i say quietly.
"too early, go back to bed." he whispers as we both eventually doze off.
"hey uh guys." chris says opening matt's bedroom door.
"awe." nick says walking in to snap a picture of us sleeping.
"they're so cute, matt!" chris slightly yells.
"what do you want? we're sleeping." he says annoyed.
"there's someone at the door for tess." chris says pointing to the front door.
"hey, tess." matt whispers while stroking my arm.
"mhm?" i say, eyes still closed.
"apparently there's someone here for you." matt says to me.
"who tf is here." i groan hugging matt.
"i know, let's just go see." matt says getting up reaching for my hand.
i grab his hand and we get up to see who's at the door.
"omg tessa!" mylee says going in for a hug.
"oh my god mylee!" i say hugging back.
"i missed you so much." she says smiling.
"me too! what are you doing here?" i say smiling back.
"i'm down for vacation for a month." she says.
"that's great!" i say smiling again.
"can i hang with you tonight? i made dinner reservations for 5:00 tonight for us!" she says grabbing my shoulders.
my smile fades.
"oh sorry i can't come tonight, i'm going on a date with matt at 5:30." i frown.
"oh can i come?" she says.
"it's a date mylee." i say raising my eyebrows.
"right.. i guess i'll just be by myself" she says sadly turning around.
"sorry your here for a month i'll text you." i say closing the door.
"im really sorry for what im about to say but it needs to be said.. i hate her, she's a pick me. she was winking at matt the whole time. she's just a walking red flag." nick says covering his mouth.
"i know it seems that way but she's actually really ni- hold on she was winking at matt?" i say infuriated but holding back from putting my fist through a wall.
"yeah.." chris says looking around.
"was she winking at you?" i turn around to matt who still had a tight grip on my hand.
"yeah but i wasn't really looking at her." he says looking down at me.
matt's pov.
she was furious, it was attractive how mad she was that her old best friend was flirting with her dinner date.
"hm her and i will have a little chat about that." she says deviously smiling.
it gives me butterflies, i look up and smile at my two brothers.
my pov.
"it's 3:35, we should probably get ready if we get to be ready by 5:30." i say grabbing matt's hand walking to his room.
"she's madddd." chris whispers to nick grinning.
nick nods.
"are you mad?" i say siting down on my bed.
"nope just a little frustrated that she would do that." i say smiling.
"okayyy." matt says smiling back.
"hey matt can you drive me home? i have some other clothes i wanna wear at my house." i say walking up to him.
"of course i'll grab my keys." he says walking out of his room.
"i'm gonna go drop tess off at her house to get ready i'll be back in a bit." matt says putting on his shoes.
"ok bye tess love you!" nick says yelling from the kitchen.
"bye nick! bye chris! love you both." i say waving as i leave the house.
we walk down the steps and get into the van.
"you exited?" matt says as he starts the car.
"very." i say smiling.
"good, apparently there's really good food there." he says pulling out of the driveway.
"well that's good." i say laughing.
we arrive at my house a few mins after.
"thank you for the ride. see you in a few love you." i say smiling.
"no problem i'll pick you up at 5:00 ok? love you." matt says waving.
i wave back and blow kisses at him.
matt's pov.
she's so cute, i can't wait for tonight. i thought. a few minutes later i arrive back home.
"hey guys." i say walking in the house.
"hey matt. we have a question." nick says looking at chris.
"oh yeah? whats that." i day setting down my keys.
"so are you gonna kiss her tonight?" chris says smiling.
"it's the first date, i don't think so. even though i want to." i say walking away.
"cmon give her a little a smooch!" chris yells as i walk away as i flip him off.
my pov.
"hello tess." brianna says walking up to me.
"hey brianna." i say wrapping my arm around her shoulder.
"sooooo finally a date with matt tonight?" she says excitedly.
"yup!!" i say as we jump around with joy.
"ok i need to get ready, help me pick an outfit." i say as we walk up to my room.
"ok so a dress? or maybe a skirt?" she says opening my closet.
"yes, one of the two. why don't we make an outfit with a dress and a skirt. i say looking through my skirts
"good idea." she says looking through my dresses.
"this one?" she says holding up a beautiful blue tight dress that really compliments my figure.
"YESSS!" i say smiling.
"ok no questions asked i think you need to wear this." she says taking it off the hanger.
"100%" i say grabbing it from her.
i put it on and i words can't express how good i look.
"AMAZING!" brianna says smiling.
"thanks too you. can you take some pics of me for insta?" i say to her.
"of course let's take them outside." she says as we walk out.

after posting some photos on insta i get a text from matt that he's here.
"matt's here, love you brianna i'll tell you all about it after bye!" i say grabbing my purse.
"okay bye love you." she says waving.
i walk out of my house to the van.
"you look beautiful." he says smiling and admiring my dress.
"thank you matt, you look beautiful too." we laugh.
that was a longer chapter but one of my favs
