Note that some things will be only speculation for what is to happen while other things might just be new things to work in the contexts of the story. Chapter 9- Spider Warrior, Reunite
Location: Earth-1610B
As the sun rose once more, the residence of where the Morales stayed in was peaceful. Even with this peaceful silence, Rio along Jeff could barely get any sleep. After Miles had suddenly disappeared, they had already assumed the worse. They had initially thought his friend that he spoke so highly about was the reason for his disappearance.
But when she had snuck into to tell them that something had happened to Miles, they didn't know who was to blame anymore. But one thing was clear. That friend of his, Gwanda, had promised to bring her son home. But so far, it had been two days since then and they were started to lose hope.
Jeff was the first to get up from his bed as he turned to his wife, assuming that she was asleep. Before he could check, a voice is heard coming from walkie talkie near his police gear.
" Officer Morales, do you copy?!" Jeff immediately over to his gear before rushing over to grab the small device.
This had caused Rio to sit him confirming Jeff's suspicions of her being unable to sleep through the night. But he had no time to talk to her about it as he answered his walkie talkie.
" Yeah. I'm here, over" Jeff replied " What's happening?"
" It's pure *Static* over *Static*. Requesting immediate *Static.*"
" Hello. Officer, can you repeat?" Jeff asked him only to get no response " Hello? Does anyone copy?"
The static noise only worsen his fears as Jeff turns to Rio who showed a look of concern.
" I have to go." Jeff kisses her on the cheek before grabbing his police gear as he runs toward the living room in a hurry. Rio could only watch through the peaked door as he grabs his police uniform before grabbing his Police cap before rushing out the door. She turns to the window of the city as she is shocked to see smoke coming from the distance.
"Ay dios mío..." She muttered as she covered her mouth with one hand.
Whatever was happening, it was certainly something that left a bad feeling inside her. Almost as if this was a beginning of a new day for them. And she couldn't tell if that was a good thing...or a bad one.

To say the trip to wherever they were going was a bit awkward was an understatement. Through much discussion between the two Gwens during the swing back, it was clear to the both of them about the gravity of the situation.
" Woah, Woah, Woah! Let me get this straight." Gwen said as she, along with her other older variant, swung side by side. " You're saying there are other Gwen Stacy variants just like me who are still alive."
" Of course. There an infinite earths in the multiverse and you expected us to be the only ones?" The older Gwen questioned her playfully.
" But I was told that Gwen Stacy meets a tragic fate by the hands of Green Goblin. It's written in the canon that they die loving Spider-Man!"
The older Gwen just looked with confusion. " And who told you that?"
" Miguel, the tall and emo looking Spider-Man. He and his elite team of Spider-Man guard the multiverse and prevent any anomalies from destroying the canon which holds every Spider-Man's story and how it's written."
" Canon?"
" Yeah, Canon. As in canon events. Each dimension is suppose to have a tragic element to them that defines who we are as Spider-Man. These are called canon events." Gwen told her.
" Canon events? Where did he get that stupid idea from? " The older Gwen told her. " If the same thing is supposed to happen in every timeline, then there would only be one singular timeline. If what he says it's suppose to be true, then there wouldn't be such an infinite amount of universes in the multiverse."
Gwen is silent as she thinks for a moment. "Huh...I never thought about it like that."
" Please tell me there was someone with common sense to tell him that if this was true, then most of our universes would've collapsed by now."
Even while swinging, Gwen couldn't hide the warm feeling on her face as she blushed through her mask "Actually...there was."
" Oh? Are they a friend of yours?" The older variant asked her.
" Yeah. He was told about his canon event and went against Miguel and his spider society." Gwen explained. " It's actually why I was here. You see, after he had escaped from HQ, he was sent to another dimension because the spider that bit him was transported from that dimension to his. Me along with the other Spider-Man who sided with him went to go rescue him. Soon after, Miguel and his team followed and before you know it, he shot something at him that turned be into dust. And then, I woke up here."
" He seems like the only reasonable one there. What's his name? Is he a Peter Parker variant or something?"
Oh god here comes the awkward and embarrassing part. " A-Actually he wasn't a Peter Parker variant. It was my best friend Miles...Miles Morales."
The older Gwen turned her head over as they continued swinging through the city casually.
" Oh." She muttered before she chuckled " Seems like the apple didn't fall to far off the tree then, huh?"
Gwen turns back to her in a flash. " W-What do you mean by that?!"
" Oh nothing. Don't worry about it." The older Gwen replied before she looked straight ahead. " We should be there any minute now."
Before Gwen could question her any further, she eyes turn toward the building in front of her as she stares in awe. In front of her rested a huge building that looked like a hotel, the top floor having one of the nicest and cool looking entrances that only Spider people such as her could enter through.
" Woah..." Gwen muttered
" Pretty cool right?" The older Gwen asks her.
Letting go of their webs, They both swung so high in the air before landing perfectly on the outside rooftop of the large building that belonged to the older variant. As she entered inside, she was once again taken back once she caught the glance at the machine in front of her.
" Alrighty then." Her older variant explained " Just give me an hour or two and we should be able to get this baby running."
" Wait a minute—What!! That's way to long! I don't know how much time I have left before his canon event happens! Can't we just speed up the process!" Gwen told her as she followed her inside the building.
" Relax other me, I'm sure your Miles and his friends could handle it. For now, we need to worry about getting you back safely." The older Gwen tried reassuring her.
" I don't care about that! I need to get back into the fight!" Gwen didn't mean to shout, but time was at the essence here. She rushes over to the machine trying to work her way around it to get it started" He needs my help! I can't just sit here doing nothing while he's out there fighting against Spot and Miguel!" Gwen growled in annoyance seeing how the machine wasn't responding to anything she did.
" Come on! Why won't this thing work already!!"
Her old variant sees how stressed her younger variant was as she tries to tries to help her ease her stress.
" Take it easy. We'll figure something out."
" How can I take it easy when I'm the reason he's in the mess in the first place!!"Gwen faced her in a state of guilt and anger towards herself as she continued to rant. " How can I rest knowing that I lead Miguel right to him! After I had just made up with him after I lied and betrayed him when he needed me most! Literally all I've done to help him just make things worse!"
Her older variant walks over to her before she places her hand on her shoulder as Gwen stops what she's doing to turn back to her with a sorrowful gaze.
" I just so tired of messing things up." Gwen muttered, her eyes becoming watery as she frowned.
" But your trying now aren't you? Your doing what you can to fix the wrongs you made. I'm sure your friend appreciates that now." Her older variant tells her.
" But it doesn't fix what I did to him. I knew that his dad was gonna die yet I didn't say anything. I didn't even tell him that he was the original anomaly that everyone in the society despised. I kept so many things from him because I didn't want to hurt him. But I did."
" Were you able to talk about it with him?"
" We did. He told me he forgave me but needed some time off once this was over. I promised I would wait for him whenever he was ready to see me again but..."
" You're afraid he might change his mind and move on."
Gwen nods her head slowly, letting the tears from her water eyes drip down her cheek.
" Gwen..."
" But why should I complain, right? All I've ever done was hurt him. Why would he want to keep contact with someone like me after everything I've done."
Gwen uses her hand to rub her other arm." I don't deserve his kindness. His compassion. His love. I don't even deserve to be his friend. I'm nothing but a huge disappointment to him."
" Maybe he should just cut ties with me and find someone better to be around."
Her older variant just stared at her before sighing. " I think I see the problem here. You're overthinking things. Your making up scenarios in your head when they aren't actually true. All he's asking is some time alone to reflect on things. You said it yourself that he had forgiven you already. Now all that's left is for you to forgive yourself."
" How can I when I've done horrible things? I've got best friend Peter killed. I lied to Miles and sided against him when he needed me most. How can I forgive myself when I've been a total fuck up all my life."
" I guess that's something you'll have to figure out on your own. But if you ask me, I'd start by realizing my self worth." Her older variant wraps her in a hug.
" Gwen. You deserve to be happy. Sure you've made mistakes, but that's what's make you human. We're not all perfect, but to acknowledge our own flaws as we try to correct them, that's what makes a good person."
" But what if I'm not good enough? What if I mess things up again?"
She lets go of Gwen as her hands rest on each of her younger self's shoulders. " Like I said little me. You have to stop worrying about the what if's. The more you do it, the more you'll start pushing him away. Do you really want to do that to him?"
" Of course not!!" Gwen raised her voice " The last thing I want to do is hurt him again!"
" Then stop overthinking. After everything is set and done, just let things happen naturally. He'll come around whenever he's ready. Because if your Miles is anything like mine, then the only thing that'll be on that boy's mind is you."
Oh yeah, I almost completely forgot about that. Gwen blushed. She never imagined she would talking with someone, or to be specific, an older version of herself about her relationship with another variant of her best friend.
A relationship she never thought be possible thanks to the fate of Gwen Stacy.
" Yeah, about that. So...you and Miles." Gwen felt flustered just asking this question " You guys are...you know."
" Married?"
" Yeah..." Gwen paused for a moment. She then asked curiously " How was it like? You know. Having those feelings for your best friend."
" It was...scary at first. Especially since I didn't want to act upon them. Just like you, I was afraid that it could've put a strain in our relationship." Her older variant voice soften as she smiled. " Luckily for me, it seemed that he felt the same way."
" But if that's true, then how did you guys figure it out? Weren't you both afraid that one of you wouldn't feel the same way?"
Her older variant shrugged" Of course we were afraid. But like ever challenge that came out way, we overcame it."
Gwen shifted nervously " And how did you guys do that?"
" Easy." The older Gwen chuckled before turning back to her. " We just had a little bit of hope and took a leap of faith."
She then turns back to the machine as she continued her work " Like I said little me. You can't let fear dictate your actions. Even if this canon event stuff you speak off about Gwen Stacy is true, are you really gonna let that stop you from wanting be around him?"
" N-No" Gwen frowned, her own feelings betraying her as she spoke. " I don't."
" It's like the saying goes, it's better to have loved and lost, then to not love at all." She explained softly " Whatever happens between you and your love, don't waste this chance to finally live the life you want with him. Take the leap of faith Gwen."
Her words causes Gwen to smile softly. " Yeah. You're right. I should—wait a minute." Her face once again becomes flustered as she glared at her older variant " I HEARD THAT!!"
" And I'm not sorry." Her older variant laughed. " This boy must be one of a kind if gets you this worked up."
Despite the fact that she wanted to deny those accusations, she couldn't help but think about what her older variant had told her about Miles moments earlier.
" If your Miles is anything like mine, then the only thing that'll be on that boy's mind is you."
She didn't know why this touched her heart. She knew by looking through his sketchbook that he had missed her just as much as she did. But was he just as obsessed with her like she was with him?
After the death of her best friend Peter, she felt isolated and alone, even at her home. No one ever really understood, even her father. But when Miles came into her life, she felt feelings she never would've experienced again. A sense of belonging to be specific.
Her heart started to race. The thought of him wanting to spend more time with her and her alone made her heart flutter even more.
Whatever feeling this was, she didn't mind it one bit. Placing her hand on her chest, she closed her eyes as memories of Miles flashes in her head.
From his laughter, to his kindness, to his smile. It was all the things she loved about him. But during this whole adventure, she started to admire more things about the boy. His bravery to stand up to Miguel and determination to prove him wrong. His dedication to save everyone and to do his own thing when everyone kept telling him how his story was suppose to go.
Miles was one of a kind. She understood him better than anyone. He was the light that brought her out of the darkness. The beacon of hope of a life she never thought she would have. And she promised herself that she stand by him as he continued to do these great things.
She hadn't noticed it then, but while she waited for her older counterpart to finish the portal, the thought of her Miles never faded from her head as she smiled softly while a warm flustered look washed over her.
" Yeah. He is."

Location: Earth-1610B
Within the city of Brooklyn were the sounds of screams and cries for help. Civilians around the city ran for their lives while some had taken shelter as they could do nothing but watch the carnage unfold.
The spider society did all that they could, a portion of them saving as much civilians as they could while the rest tried facing off against the Spot.
Jess lead a portion of her team as she focused on evaluating as many civilians to safety. She turned back slightly to see the battle unfold as Spot had released wave after wave of deadly attacks at the Spider-Man.
Miguel ran past the many bodies of Spider-Man on the floor as he charged at the villain with such furry in his eyes. He leaped into the air preparing strike him with his claws only for Spot to open a portal in front him. Miguel could barely stop himself as he entered inside. Spot then opened another portal which send Miguel crashing against a group of Spider-Man.
One of them tried launching themselves from behind but Spot quickly dodge the strike as he caught their fist before crushing it cashing them to scream in pain. In a flash, that Spider-Man was thrown out the way on the floor.
A group of Spider-Man started surrounding the villain as one by one, they all started to shoot their webs. Spot was met with strings of webs on most parts of his body as the Spider-Man around him tried holding him.
" A valiant effort."Spot spoke before his body fazed through the webs as he looked down on everyone. " But a foolish one never the less."
Spot then summoned many of holes before shooting sharp objects toward the group. Those who were unfortunate were met with painful shards crashing into them.
Two Spider-Man used their full strength to throw the Spider T-Rex at Spot who tried using his jaws to crush the super villain. Spot quickly teleported away before grabbing the spider dinosaur by the tail.
The villain then made quick work of dinosaur as he slammed him down on the building causing cashing him to fall through the many levels of the building.
From afar, Miguel struggled to get to his as the injuries he sustained earlier started to take a tole.
" Lyla? How's that solution coming along?!"
Lyla appears next to him as she appear to seem stressed " I-I'm trying Miguel! So far I couldn't find anything that could take on someone with this much dark matter!!"
Miguel growls seeing how dire the situation was becoming. It was only made worse when Spot started approaching him in the air.
" I'll ask you again. Where is Spider-Man?" Spot told him before he descended down toward him. Before Miguel could even react, Spot had grabbed him on a chokehold as the older Spider-Man was helpless to do anything. " Tell me now. Or do I have to draw him out?"
Miguel looked toward whoever that could help but Spot had almost taken out the entire legion of Spider-Man from the society. The ones that were left were aiding civilians to safety.
There was no one left that could help him. With that said, if this was how he was about to die, then at least he go out with one final word.
" Go to hell." Miguel managed to mutter as he glared at the super villain.
Spot could only let out a distorted laugh. " I'll see you there."
Spot raised his hand preparing to land the finishing blow, the older Spider-Man could only close his eyes as he accepted his fate right then and there. With one final motion, Spot raises down his fist preparing to end Miguel, his fist becoming inches away from reaching his body.
Before he could, Spot felt a familiar presence that causes him to momentarily stun him. He throws Miguel across the city as he dropped to floor.
The older Spider-Man slowly stood back to his feet. He prepared to launch himself at Spot only to see him standing motionless toward the sky.
Confused, Miguel turned upward to see where Spot's attention was focused on. From one of the tallest buildings of the city, a spark could be seen coming through out of thin air. That spark only become larger until a small portal had opened above the sky.
That portal became even larger to the point where almost everyone had momentarily stopped to focus in on what was happening.
Even with no mask or facial features, Spot had focused in on the portal above.
One by one, these selective Spider-Man came down through the portal. Some of them Spot had seen earlier while the others were entirely new to him. It was until the last person that came through did it catch Spot's full attention.
" You've finally arrived. Nemesis" Spot muttered.
From the top of the building, Miles stood above the battle along with the Spider gang who stood behind him. The same pose and parallel to when Gwen had done when she assembled a team to save him. Just like her, this was his band. His family.
And they were going to do the very thing Gwen had assemble this team to do.
Looking down at his nemesis, Miles slowly puts on the jacket he gave Gwen before putting on his mask as the others do the same behind him.
It was time to end things between them. Both sides stared each other down with neither sound muttering a single word. With a palm of his finger, Spot summoned many portals before he firing sharp objects at the group.
Miles leaped off the building while the others split in two groups while jumping on opposite sides. He dodges the incoming shards that came his way he began approaching closer. Spot opened a hole in front of Miles expecting him to fall inside.
However, Miles reached out his hand as Pav' web caught him. Pav pulled Miles before swinging him as hard as he could as he launched Miles closer to him.
Before Spot could do anything else, he spotted both Peter B. and Noir as they used their spider webs to swing down to heavy pieces of debris toward Spot.
Spot quickly entered a portal to prevent himself from being crushed before appearing above Miles. The young Spider-Man landed near Peter B. and noir as they watched as Spot opened a portal above them. Spot then throws an entire glass building at them.
Right when they were about to be hit, Hobi jumps in with his guitar before he unleashes a shockwave which breaks the building into pieces.
Jumping above him, Peni used her mecha suit to fire a large red beam while Margo summoned three drone avatars which opened fire at Spot.
With a swipe of his hand, he throws one of his spots which opens a barrier that blocks their attacks. Spot prepares to strike back at them but hears a whistle sound that gets louder.
Spot barely has any time to look above himself as he crushed by a cartoonish anvil that Ham lands on him. He is sent plumping down to the ground below creating a small crater as he reaches the floor.
Ham gives a thumbs up to the audience before jumping off to join the others. When the dust settles and the smoke cleared, Spot stood menacingly without suffering a single scratch.
" You have no idea how long I've dreamt of this. I, Your nemesis, finally getting the recognition he deserves!" Spot spoke with his distorted voice, his body now starting to levitate in the air while he stare down Miles " Am I a villain of the week to you now Spider-Man?"
" I don't know, mind giving me a minute to think about it." Miles joked while Hobi and Pav stood beside him.
" Glad to see your humor is still intact." Spot then titled his head " But you won't be laughing once I destroy everything you hold dear."
" We like to see you try." Pav proclaimed proudly.
" Okay." Spot replied before he summoned more holes of dark matter. From the holes, Spot fired dark matter at the group forcing them dodge the beams as Miles charged himself at Spot. The villain opened a portal in front of him before throwing one of his holes near Pav who was still in the air as Miles crashes into the Indian Spider-Man sending them into a glass building.
What followed next was Hobi and Margo charging at him on separate sides only for Spot teleport away causing Margo and Hobi to crash in to one another.
" Where'd he go?" Ham asked as he along with Peter B. and Noir kept on guard.
Suddenly, all three of them felt their spider sense tingling as Spot emerged into reality from behind them. Before they could react, Spot swipes them all of with one of his spots before landing them on top of Hobi and Margo who had just recovered from hitting each other. Peni tries firing another beam at him but Spot already sets one of his spots in front of him as he redirects the blast back at her as she is sent crashing against a brick wall.
As this happen, a spiderweb is seen wrapping around his leg before it pulls him down on the floor. Peter B. was the first to recover from the attack from earlier as he pulled the string of web that was connected to the villain. Seeing this, Spot moved one of his spots on the ground he laid on before disappearing as Peter B. was pulled into the hole he created. While he was inside, Peter B. pulled on the web as they traveled through the emptiness of the void before punching him in the face. Spot tried kicking swinging but Peter B. grabbed both his arms as they struggled for control over the fight.
It was only when the portal opened did they crash land on the ground near Miles and Pav who recovered. Spot used this time to punch Peter B. across the face.
Peter B. tried swinging at but his fist went right through his spot before coming out the other resulted in him punching himself. Spot laughed at his attempt before turning his gaze to see Pav charging at him.
Reacting quickly, Spot grabbed Peter B. by his suit before using his body to smack Pav outside the now open entrance to the building. Peter B. and Pav are sent plumping down as Noir and Hobi catch them before they hit the ground.
Before the others could join back into the fight, they heard screams coming from all around them as buildings from the earlier battle were starting to fall apart.
" Hobie, Pav, You guys go on ahead, the rest of us will focus on helping in evacuate!" Peter B. told everyone.
Pav and Hobie nodded before rushing back to aid Miles in the fight while Peter B. and the others focused on saving as many people as they could. Noir and Ham swung inside one of the buildings before grabbing as many people as they could from a building before it could collapse on itself.
Peni heard a cry for help inside the building next to her as she saw a mother and child struggling to leave as debris fell all around them. She moved quickly as her SP//er rushed into as she caught a huge chunk of debris from falling on them before throwing it aside. She then grabbed the mother and child before rushing out the front doors as the building fell apart.
Peter B. was doing an excellent work as he started throwing people of the building left and right wile Margo summoned a avatar like bouncing house preventing them from sustaining any serious injuries. After throwing the last guy outside, Peter B. leaped down from the building as it started falling apart behind him. As pieces of debris started to fall behind him, he turned his body around before punching large chunks of any debris that came his way preventing them from falling toward the people below.
Peter B. spider sense then tingled as his eyes turned to see a soemone falling from another building, presumably due to that building collapsing on itself. Reacting quickly, he swung his way there before catching them as he landed them safely on the ground.
" You okay?" He asks them.
The individual nods before running off as Peter B. turns back to aid the others once more.
While this was going on, Miles attempted to tackle Spot from where he stood but the villain had already moved one his hole on his body. The young Spider-Man went straight through the hole before he remerges through another as he crashes against a wall.
Miles groans in pain as he falls to the floor. His spider sense suddenly alerting him to move from his spot as one of the holes hovers over him. He narrowly missed being crushed by Spot's fist which came through as the force of his punch cracks the ground behind him.
He grabs Spot's fist that came through the hole before shooting a venom blast inside. The attack stuns Spot causing him to momentarily groan in pain as he steps away. Miles flicked both wrists which shot webs passed the villains before pulling himself toward his direction. In a flash, Miles uppercuts him using his foot before landing on top of the villain with full forcing causing them to crash toward the bottom floor.
" Nice hit. I almost felt that" Spot laughed underneath him. " But now it's my turn."
Miles is confused until he felt himself falling through Spot's body. The villain laughs as he stands to his feet before putting two of his holes above each other as the young Spider-Man could only scream which is cut out every second from the loop he continued to fall into. Spot times his attack before firing a beam of dark matter towards Miles sending him through a few walls of the building before landing on his back against the ground.
Miles groans in pain as he lifts his upper body slowly to see Spot approaching him. He struggles to get to his feet as the villain towers over him.
" Not so cocky now, are you?" Spot prepares to stomp on the young Spider-Man only to a web circling around him before he is trapped within a web around his body.
Before he could break free, he felt himself being pulled back roughly as he turns his head slightly to see that Pav pulling on the string. In a flash, Spot get himself being smacked across the face as Hobi rushed in to smack him with his guitar sending the villain crashing outside as he plumped down on a car.
Hobi walks over to Miles before offering his hand to him " You good Mate?"
Miles groans in pain before he takes his hand as Hobie helps him up. " Yeah. I'm doing just fine."
Getting back to his feet, Miles spider senses go off he takes a few steps back in shock. Hobi and Pav show looks of concern as they look at each other before back at him.
In his head, Miles is shown a similar vision he had with Spot. Except it was different. In this weird vision, he saw the same vision his dad running to save a child from being crushed by debris. But in that same vision, as he pushes away a child, something swoops in and saves him.
The figure, they had swooped in using a web shooter.
Was it one of my friends? Miles tries inspects the figure as the vision shows his father looking at the figure. Before he could take a look at the figure, the vision suddenly ends when he felt hand being placed on his shoulder
" Are you sure your okay?" Miles is suddenly snapped back to the fight as Pav asked him that question.
That vision. What did it mean? Who had saved his dad? Why was he suddenly shown this now?
As much as he wanted to figure out the answer to that question, he knew his priorities were needed elsewhere. Miles turns back to his friends.
" I'm fine" Miles reassured him " Just my mind playing tricks on me."
" Maybe I could be of an assistance."
Suddenly all three of their spider sense went off as they got into their fighting poses. From one of the leftover holes on the ground, Spot had emerged slowly as he levitated upward until he was on solid ground.
" Shall we then?" Spot chuckled.
The trio of Spider-Man looked at one another before they charged at him to as they continued their assault.

" Almost done, just give me another minute."
Gwen waited patiently while her older counterpart set up the the final pieces of the machine. She looked toward the clock on the wall as a full hour had passed since she started setting it up. Although she had initially calmed herself down from earlier, time was still at the essence here.
As she waited, her eyes peaked up once she saw the machine beginning to operate a green color. She immediately ran next to her older counterpart, who was on the control pad, as they both watched the machine slowly started to open a green portal.
" Come on, almost there." Her older variant continued to operate the machine. The portal started to become larger as Gwen watched in anticipation, hoping that this would finally work.
" Annnnnnnnnnnd-"
After a dramatic long pause, the portal then suddenly disappeared out of thin air, leaving the anticipated Gwen, who stared at it with such hope and excitement, speechless. She turned her head over to her older variant who was also dumbfounded by the ordeal.
" Huh, that was...unexpected."
Gwen's right eye twitched before she completely lost it.
" WE'VE WASTED AN HOUR FOR NOTHING!!!" She screamed in anger before she began walking back in forward while talking to herself. " That's just great Gwen! Now what are we gonna do?! We wasted precious time on something that wasn't gonna work and now we have no means to go back!!"
As her younger counterpart continued to rant to herself, The older Gwen inspected the control panel once more trying to see what the problem was. While this was going on, she heard another voice from behind her.
" So my beautiful Sunflower, how's the machine coming along?" The older Gwen variant turned her head slightly to see her husband standing as he leaned over to kiss her cheek
" That was fast. How'd you handle the interview so quickly." She asked him
The older Miles smirked. " Oh you know, the old fashion way. I told them that my spider senses were tingling and that I heard someone crying for help."
The Older Gwen shakes her head at her husband antics. " Eres un idiota."
" So what's her problem anyways?" Her husband asks her as the married couple turn to Gwen who was still on ranting to herself.
She sighs. " I was setting up the portal thing and it just turned off all of sudden. I was gonna restart the process again but since you're here, mind giving me a hand?" She shows him the control pad as he begins to inspect it.
The older Miles is confused seeing how all the steps were in order to start the machine. It was only when a sudden memory popped up in his head that made him remember what the missing piece to this puzzle was.
" I think I found the problem." Her husband told her before he opened the control pad. He immediately got to work by putting his hands on one of the wires as he shot an electric pulse from one of his fingers.
Suddenly, the green portal that had disappeared earlier had reappeared into out of thin air, expect this time it was even larger then before.
" How you'd know that would work?" She asked him
" Just a hunch." He told her." Now you might want to get the little you attention before she starts breaking stuff."
She laughed seeing how true this was once she caught the glimpse of her younger counterpart.
" Hey Little me, you still there?
" Uugh! I knew it, this was stupid! I should have never come here if all I was gonna do was waste my time!!"
" Hello?! Earth to Gwen."
" Just when I thought things were turning out alright, everything just turns to pure crap! It's like I'm cursed to live a life of misery and-"
" Gwen!!"
" WHAT!!" Gwen shouts angrily as she turns her attention back at them. Her older variant and The older Miles point to the portal that was now open.
Gwen blinked before she blushed in embarrassment. " O-Oh..."
The older Miles laughed while her older counterpart shook her sideways with a s still present on her face.
" This should send you there, best not to keeping your man waiting for you." Her older variant told her.
Gwen walks toward the portal before stopping. She turns back to see the married spider couple one last time.
" I can't express how thankful I am for your help. I know I wasn't exactly an easy Gwen Stacy to deal with but-"
" Gwen, it's alright. We're just happy to help." The older Miles explained before waving her goodbye. " Now get out there and save the day already."
Gwen smiled softly as her eyes then turned to her older self right next to him.
" Remember what I told you little me, don't be afraid."
Gwen stared at her for a moment before she smirked. She immediately puts on her mask before turning back to the portal. Taking a few steps, Gwen entered the portal before it closes in on itself leaving the married couple alone.
The older Miles is the first to speak " So how bad is the situation?"
The older Gwen thinks for a moment before turning back to her husband. " From what little me told me, I think we might need to get " you know who" to clear things up with them about this whole "Canon".
He cringes " Don't tell me who I a think your suggesting."
" Yeah. By the looks of it, seems like we have no choice." She told him before she grabbed the control pad. " It's time we visit some old friends."

To say things weren't going smoothly for the Spider society was an understatement. Miguel had limped his way through the damaged city. Looking around him, he stared in complete shock seeing how many Spider-Man were down for the count.
Taking a few more steps caused him to groan in pain as he tilted over. The hits he had received from Spot had worsen his injuries he sustained earlier during his fight with Miles.
" This shouldn't be happening..." Miguel stumbled in his steps, his body feeling weaker by the second. " How did he get this strong?"
He had grown so weak that he tripped on his steps as body begins to plummet to the ground. He groans in pain as the world around starts to slow down. Closing his eyes, Miguel expected his face to be met with hard thump that would surely leave a mark on his face.
Instead, he was surprised when his body felt the complete opposite. Although weak, Miguel used whatever strength he could to open his eyelids as he saw himself being caught by a pair of hands. When his vision had become clear, he was finally able to make out who this person was.
And quite frankly, he didn't like what saw.
" And I thought I looked like shit"
" Peter..." Miguel snarled at him. " Where's little Mayday?"
" Good to see you too." He replied to him as he wrapped Miguel's arm around the back of his neck to support him from falling. " Don't worry about little Mayday, she's in safe hands with Peni."
" How'd you get here? I thought Lyla deactivated your watches."
" A story for another time. Now, let's get you to Jess and we'll talk from there."
" Why are you helping me?" He asked him. " I thought you chose your side with the anomaly?"
" Could you at least call him by his name." Peter B. sighed while shaking his head before looking at the chaos around him. " He's not gonna stop Miguel. You know that."
" But does he realize what's at stake here!" Miguel shouted. " You know what happens someone breaks the canon! I can't allow that to happen Peter. The original anomaly needs to be stopped before he destroys everything."
Peter looks at him for a moment before something pops up in his head.
" Well. It's not like the spider society is any better."
Miguel snarled at him while Peter B. looked at him. " Come on Miguel. Just let the kid do this, if something happens then it'll be on him. You have to let him at least try. Isn't that what being Spider-Man is all about?"
Miguel is silent. He stares at him down as Peter does the same. Moments go by before Miguel sighs as he looks back at Peter B. " Fine. But If this goes south, it'll be on him."
Peter B. smiles. " Let's hope it doesn't. Now come on, Jess is probably worried about you."

The battle between the trio and Spot had ended quickly soon then what they inspected. Though it wasn't in the trio's favor.
Pav was barely clinging on as Hobie kneeled down and held him in his arms, a part of his mask being ripped revealing a nasty black eye along with some minor bruises. He glared at Spot but was unable to do anything as the villain had surrounded his holes around the duo.
" Miles!!" Hobie tried yelling, but his voice was blocked out.
One wrong move would be meet with a beam of dark matter.
Spot has approached the now injured Miles who breathing heavily from exhaustion.
" Is...that...all...you got!" Miles panted while glaring at the villain.
" As a matter of fact." Spot grabs Miles by the throat before slowly levitating his way out the building. He hovered above street below with Miles struggling to break free from his grasp.
" I told you already Spider-Man. Just like you took everything from me, I'm gonna take everything from you. Starting with this city."
With a flick of his hand, the many holes around Spot's body begin to launch off of him before scattering across the city. What followed next was Spot unleashing waves of dark matter toward buildings.
Many civilians who were still left screamed as they fled the scene. The Debris from the buildings around them were starting to fall as the cries of terror worsened the situation.
" Leave them out of this!" Miles yelled at him. " This has nothing to do with them!"
" It has everything to do with them." Spot explained." They all treated me like a joke. A typical villain of the week. Guess whose laughing now?"
Miles was helpless to do anything as he could nothing more then watch the chaos unfold. As he struggled against his grip, his spider senses immediately alerted him toward a child who trembles in fear.
He recognized that child. It was the same one he saw in the vision. And if that's the child then.
" Spider-Man?!"
Oh no.
Miles's eyes widen. That voice. No, No, No, No. Please no!
" What do we have here?" Spot chuckled darkly before turning toward Miles" Doesn't this seem familiar to you?"
From the ground below, Officer Morales had arrived at the scene as he stared from afar in horror. As he tried to make sense of the situation around him, he heard a cry for help from the distance as he saw a child cowering in fear with the chaos around him.
Miles tried desperately to break from his grip but Spot was to strong to break free from.
" No! Stop!!" Miles shouted but Spot was having none of it.
" Let's watch destiny unfold, shall we?" Spot used one of holes to shoot dark matter toward the building above the child.
The entire top part of the building's structure began to crack before breaking into pieces. Miles watched in horror as the vision he had back at Pav's dimension started to unfold.
Officer Morales immediately saw was happening as he rushed into to save the child from being crushed.
" I'm coming!!"
" No! No! No! NOOO!!" Miles shouted.
At that moment, time had slowed down for him. Officer Morales was nearly there to save the child as a huge chunk of debris had began to fall over him.
After everything that happened, Miles was once again helpless to do anything. This happened with his uncle Arron. This happened with Gwen. And now, his dad was gonna share the same fate.
This was it. The moment he was suppose to prove Miguel wrong by saving his father. Yet he didn't. Right now he was nothing more then a helpless child crying out to his father. He really had failed.
Miles closed his eyes as he lets the tears fall down his face within the suit expecting to hear the sound of his father being crushed to death.
Officer Morales pushed the child out the way before his eyes widen seeing the huge chunk of debris that was about to fall on him. It was so close to him now that he had barely registered that his life was now beginning to flash before his very own eyes.
This was it.

Except it wasn't.
Before he could be crushed by the huge Chuck of debris, a thwiping sound was heard as Officer Morales felt himself being grabbed by a set of arms. It was made even more apparent that he now felt himself being safely placed on a building.
" What?" Spot muttered.
Hearing the confusion in the villains voice, Miles opened his eyes slowly to see what was going on. It was only when he caught a full glimpse on the situation did his eyes widen in shock.
With both of them being shocked, they failed to notice someone sneaking up behind him.
Noir immediately swooped in before punching the villain in the face." Get your paws off the kid, you genocidal maniac!" The force of the strike sends Spot crashing into another building while The old Spider-Man catches Miles before they both landed safely on the ground.
Officer Morales touched his chest to see if he was dreaming as he took heavy breaths from almost being killed. He was okay. This wasn't a a dream.
But who saved him?
His eyes turned toward the figure who dropped him. Unlike the Spider-Man he knew, this one was unlike anything he saw. From mixture of black and white colors with a tiny hint of pink of their suits to the blue shoes with white stripes.
It was clear to him that this wasn't no ordinary Spider-Man he's seen in his life.
" You okay Officer Morales?" She asked him, he could only nod. " Good. We'll take care of things here, I think your buddies down there need your help with evacuate."
Officer Morales barely time to react as they swung away, leaving the stunned police captain in total shock.
" Okay. That just happened."

" You alright little man?" Noir asked Miles. One by one, the Spider Gang gathered around him. Some of them injured while others like Pav were stilll clinging on.
The young Spider-Man removed his mask revealing shocked expression on his face. He was at a lost for words right now. It couldn't be. The vision he saw moments earlier in the fight showed someone saving his dad, but he never believed to be true.
It was made apparent that the person who did was...No, it couldn't be. Maybe his eyes was deceiving him from all the hits he received. Maybe it was some illusion or mind game that Spot was playing on him. After all, he did gain some new powers from the collider he absorbed.
Or maybe-
" Hey..."
Miles and the others froze in shock. That voice. It couldn't be. It had be some illusion right? But how could it when everyone heard it too. One by one, the others turned toward the source of the noise, their eyes widening after seeing who it was.
Pav and Hobie even took off their masks, their faces covered in disbelief which shocked Miles even more. The young Spider-Man turned to see what was going on only to be met with the same reaction.
He hadn't thought it was possible. But it was. Standing before them was no other then Gwen. Their Gwen. His Gwen. She had removed her mask revealing her face.
" Hope I wasn't too late hehe." She laughed awkwardly while rubbing her arm, seeing that all their gazes focused on her.
The silence that followed scared her even more.
" Guys? Is everything okay?"
In a flash, Hobie and Pav rushed in to hug her tightly while the others ran to surround her. Miles being the only one that was to stunned to even move.
" Woah! What's with the hugs guys?" She asked them chuckling.
" We thought we lost you!" Pav told her, he wiped the tears off his face before smiling.
" But you didn't." Gwen reassured him.
" It's good to have you back Gwen." Margo told her while Ham wiped away a tear that streamed down his face.
" Likewise. And let me you tell you, the place that I went to was quite something." She told everyone.
" Best to save that story for another time, Love ." Hobie told her. " 'our Peter Pan over there is waiting."
Gwen was confused before her spider senses immediately went off. She turned towards Miles who was still standing at the same place earlier in shock. She gasped seeing the many bruises around his body as she rushed over to him.
" Miles!" She cried out. She ran towards him before stopping once she got close enough. " Are you alright?!"
Miles didn't know how to react once she felt her hand on his cheek. He didn't even process his own tears that were beginning to form as he heard her call out to him in the softest tone.
" Miles? Talk to me. Are you okay?" Gwen asked him softly. " Please. I just want to make sure your okay."
Miles choked out a cry before he finally let's down his tears. This seemed to scare Gwen even more.
" Miles..." Gwen asked as she could feel her own tears forming.
Not wasting another second, Miles rushed over to her before giving her the tightest hug he's ever given anyone. Gwen is taken back as she feels herself being wrapped into his chest. Miles hugged her so tightly, hoping this wasn't a dream or an illusion.
Suffice to say, it wasn't.
Thank you, he thought. Whoever was up their watching him. Thank you for bringing her back to me.
Miles began to cry as he held on to her for dear life. He thanked whoever was out there for giving him this. Gwen departed from him before placing both her hands on his cheek.
Oh those loving ocean blue eyes. Her loving smile that made his heart melt. It was her.
" Miles, what's wrong?" She asked him once more.
" I...I thought...I thought I..." Miles chokes on his words. " I thought I lost you. I thought I broke my promise."
Gwen sees how distraught he was. The words of her older variant start to come back to her.
" If your Miles is anything like mine, then the only thing that'll be on that boy's mind is you."
She leans her forehead against his as they closed their eyes while enjoying each others presence. The world around them was closed off to them as Miles places his hands on her sides.
As they depart, Gwen used her hand to wipe away the tears on his face as Miles opens his eyes to her bright smile.
" But I'm here now. That's all that matters, right?" She told him as she allows her tears to stream down her face.
He looks at her in awe before smiling as he placed his hand over hers on his cheek.
" Yeah." Miles and Gwen look at each other with the brightest of looks. They didn't care about the battle that was taking place. Hell, they didn't even care about the smug looks that the others were giving them.
This was their moment.
That was until something activated the groups spider senses as Miles immediately jumps in front of Gwen to protect her.
Emerging from the building was an irritated yet still pleased Spot who stared down at the Spider-gang below.
" Look what we have here." Spot muttered darkly " If it isn't your little friend. I should've known she would swoop in. I'll be sure to finish her off first this time."
Miles glared at the villain, the orange electricity that surge his body earlier came back to him. " You won't lay a finger on her or anyone I care about."
Spot chuckled " Please. These spider misfits have done more damage to you then I ever did. In the end, you were always destined to be alone."
Miles growled at the villain before a hand grabbed his his.
" He's not alone." Gwen chipped in as she held his hand while looking at him. " Cause we're with him to the very end."
The others started to gather behind him as Miles smiles once he sees her before they turned back to Spot.
It was now the beginning of the end.

" Miguel!"
Jess rushed over to Miguel who was carried by Peter B.
" He's in pretty bad shape. He needs medical attention." Peter B. told him as they placed Miguel down against a wall.
" No...there's still something I could do." Miguel told them. " I can't back down now."
" Miguel, your gonna get yourself killed." Jess told him as she aided to his injuries.
" Better then sitting around and letting innocents die." Miguel told him before he groaned in pain once Jess started patching him.
Peter B. looks at the future Spider-Man with pity before a voice suddenly alerts all of them.
" I've found it!!"
The trios eyes turned to see Lyla appearing out of thin air, her hair seemingly a mess.
" Found what?" Peter B. asked her. " Where have you've been Lyla?"
" While I couldn't find anything to stop Spot, I did managed to go through multiple possibilities and scenarios of the battle."
" And out of all of them that you've seen, How many do we win?" Miguel asks her.
Lyla is quiet for a moment before answering him. " Only one."
The trio is silent hearing that answer. Peter B. decided to break that silence.
" What do we need to do."
Lyla looks toward the battle happening in the city before turning back to them
" We need Miles."
