Two weeks later, after Percy got into a fight with Flint, everything got back to normal really quickly. No one suspected that Percy and I were a thing to my sudden surprise and some people congratulate him for standing up from his friend. Some of them were even surprised that Percy Weasley, the Gryffindor prefect and the boy who wants everyone to follow the rules, broke one of them himself and the worst one. Flint didn't dare to open his mouth because the day after the fight, when I entered the common room and found him sitting all by himself, I kind of threatened him. I told him that my father will hear about what he did and the fact that he tried to hurt me, which actually made him pretty scared. Well, good for me!
Also, because Flint was kicked out of the Quidditch team, I gave the part to Ruby because she wanted the part and because she did amazing in her tryouts. To say the truth, the Gryffindors don't stand a chance against us in the match next week, so that means that the Quidditch Cup is already mine
I was waiting in the Quidditch field with my brother and Ruby by my side waiting for the rest of the players to come, so we could start our practice. I had booked every single afternoon of this week after a small fight that I had with Wood about the hours, but he eventually gave in because he got bored with my complaining, and they will practice over the weekend and next week before the final game. I was checking the plan of the game one last time until I heard footsteps coming towards us and when I looked up I noticed that not a single one of my players was wearing their Quidditch team which truly irritated me
Y/n: What the hell do you think you are doing? We have to practice in case you forgot, we are not on break
I said, and Adrian Pucey smiled before they stopped a few steps away from me. Some of them even looked scared of what Adrian was about to say to me because they knew I wouldn't take it well
Adrian: We decided that we don't want to play against the Gryffindors next week
He said, and I looked at him with the are-you-fucking-serious-look. Unfortunately for them, I make the decisions
Y/n: Bad for you because you are playing
I said, crossing my arms in my chest, and he scoffed
Adrian: You are not the one making decisions here, we have a right to say our opinion
He said and I rolled my eyes annoyed
Y/n: Let me remind you Pucey that I am the captain of this team and I decided that we are going to play if we want to win the fucking cup. So either you go into the changing rooms and wear your uniforms, or you are out of my team.
I said angrily, and he thought for a second before he sighed looking at the floor
Adrian: Fine, but don't start blaming us if your Potter beats your brother's ass again and we lose
He said before walking away with everyone following him behind, and I rolled my eyes annoyed at him
Y/n: One more word Pucey and kiss your position goodbye
I said, taking to look at the plan one more time in my hands. Then I noticed, next to me, Ruby waving at someone in the crowd with a smile on her face. I noticed Mione sitting at the bleachers with Ginny and ginger. I looked at them with a smile on my face before I wave at them
Ruby: I still don't get why you didn't let Oli join them!
She asked confused because she really wanted her boyfriend to see her practice for the first time, and I gave her the are-you-serious-look again! Yeah, after the Slytherin party, they made their relationship official and public. Ruby's parents are the same as mine and wanted her to date someone like Adrian or Flint because they are rich and pureblood but unlike me, Ruby is not afraid of them, so she doesn't listen to them and does whatever she wants
Y/n: Because when you step foot in this field he is not your boyfriend anymore but your worst enemy. I swear that if I see you flirting with him during the game, you will be joining Flint in the bleachers
I said, heading to get my broom, and then I heard her whispering to my brother
Ruby: Is she always like that during practice?
She asked confused and worried at the same time before Draco nodded at her with a smile
Draco: You haven't seen the worst yet
He said with a smirk, and Ruby looked horrified because she knew that when I get angry I could easily kill ten wizards. She swallowed her stamina nervously before she flew into the air
I was watching my players while playing, and I wish I would be able to Avada Kedevra them at the spot because they acted lazier than ever today! I just knew that this was Flint's job. The balls were falling from their hands, they were sleeping on their brooms, they were crashing into each other, and then they fought about it non-stop
Y/n: SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, I KNOW THAT A BUNCH OF ELVES WILL BE PLAYING BETTER THAN WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU ARE DOING
I yelled in the middle of the field before I noticed another player sleeping on his broom
Y/n:ZABINI WAKE THE HELL UP BEFORE I COME DOWN THERE
I yelled while clapping my hands, and the young boy immediately woke up and looked around, still half asleep and confused. It was fucking six in the afternoon, what made them so sleepy and lazy today?
Y/n: I freaking hate them
I whispered to myself before I hit a black ball with my bat, sending it to two of my players, who were just sitting in their brooms and talking. Where did they think we were, in the Great Hall?
Y/n: SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING YOUR CONVERSATION, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE OUT OF THE TEAM
I yelled with an innocent smile on my face and their eyes widened in horror before they started protesting, but I gave them a deathstare, which made them fly to the ground without saying another word. Then I gestured to two girls who were waiting on the bench to come on the air. They were the substitutes for my players in case someone got sick last minute, but now they have officially made it to the team
Y/n:Parkinson, Greengrass welcome to the team
I said with a smile, and they immediately came flying to me and hugged me before they started playing, and it was the best choice ever because they were freaking good. I smiled proudly to myself because after I kicked out two players, the rest of them woke up and started playing normally again. After practice, they were all standing exhausted and ready to fall to the ground, but I was pretty happy with the result of the practice
Y/n: Well done everyone, see you again tomorrow same hour and don't you dare do the same little revolution of yours or whatever Flint made you do! Goodbye and sleep early
I said, waving at them with a proud smile on my face, and they all left looking extremely tired, but I was over the moon with the success of our practice
Ruby: You are seriously worse than Oliver when it comes to Quidditch practice
She said with a sigh before started walking away, and I went to the bench to grab my things before I fell, a hand wrapping around my waist. For a minute I got scared, but I relaxed when I saw that it was ginger
Y/n: You scared me for a second
I said with a smile before putting the planner in my bag, and he kissed my cheek with a smile on his face
Percy: Merlin, is it like that in every practice?
He said to me and I nodded negatively. Of course, it wasn't like that in every practice! They just wanted to get on my nerves and their plan succeeded
Y/n: No, but today they wanted to irritate me! Gosh, I hate them
I said before putting the bag over my shoulder, and he nodded with an understanding look on his face before he kissed my forehead. I went to pick up my broom when an idea came to my mind
Y/n: Want to go for a ride?
I asked with a smile on my face and I saw his cheeks become red like crazy
Percy: Ride?
He asked, looking at me confused before I picked up my broom from the ground
Y/n: With the broom
I said with a smile on my face, and he thought for a second before he shook his head to get rid of whatever he was thinking. What the hell did he think, I meant?
Percy: Yeah yeah, but promise you won't get us killed
He said with a serious but also worried look on his face, and I smiled at him
Y/n: No promises ginger
I said, getting on the broom, and he joined me before I set off to the sky. He put his hands around my waist and hid his head in my neck. I laughed at his childish behavior, but it also looked cute how scared he was
Y/n: Come on Perce there is no need to be scared, look around the place is beautiful! Don't you trust me?
I asked and he looked at me horrified
Percy: Of course, I don't
He said before he hid his face again in my neck, and I laughed before going faster to the sky to find the place that I was looking for.
Percy: You are going too fast
He whispered to me, not daring to look at the ground, and I just smiled before flying to the ground. It was a place just a few minutes away from the castle and near a small lake filled with fishes in different colors that could light up during nighttime. Around the lake, there were different kinds of flowers which make the place look even more beautiful. You could see the castle from here and it was a really breathtaking view. When we were finally touching the ground, Percy immediately got off the broom and sighed in relief
Percy: I hate you
He whispered before he sat on the ground, resting his head against a tree and I went to sit next to him
Y/n: You are the one who agreed to come
I said, resting my head on his shoulder and he sighed one more time before he looked around to admire the place
Percy: It is truly beautiful
He said with a smile on his face and I nodded. I love coming here when I am upset or when I need some alone time away from my friends or more time to study alone. It is a really peaceful place that only a few people know about it and always found a way to calm me down
Y/n: Yeah, I know! I just love this place with all my heart!
I said before turning to look at him, and I smiled when I saw him smiling at the fish in the lake jumping out of the water and then back in. Then he turned to me with an adoring smile on his face
Percy: I love it, but I love you more
He said, and a blush immediately came to my cheeks. Did he love me? Percy Weasley actually loved me?
Y/n: You do?
I asked confused because this was the first time someone said that they loved me in a really long time. The last person that said it was my mother before we said our goodbyes in September, and actually the only person that actually says it to my face.
Percy: Yeah, I do! Since the second year, even if I didn't want to admit it to myself! It is okay if you can't say it back just yet because I know that it is too early but-
But before he was able to continue his sentence, I pulled him by his tie and crashed my lips against his passionately. I stood up and sat on his lap before putting my arms around his neck and he put his around my waist. I pulled away with a blush on my cheeks and smiled at him
Y/n: I love you too ginger
I said with a smile, and his eyes widened in "pretended" surprise
Percy: I will try and act surprised because I heard your conversation with Hermione and I already knew. I just wanted to find a way to say it to you and believe me that Oliver is the worst advisor ever
He said with a smile on his face, and I laughed. Did he seriously go to Oliver for advice? He even loves Quidditch more than Ruby! I kissed him again one more time before I lay my head on his lap with a smile on my face. He looked down at me and removed a few hairs that were falling on my face.
Percy: You are breathtaking, even more than the view that I have in front of me. I would stare at you for hours and never get bored by you. You are my favorite view
He said with a calm and whispering voice, and a smile formed on my face before I felt my cheeks burn like crazy.
Y/n: You are so good with words, you should be a poet
I said with a smile and he laughed
Percy: Sure because you are a really great inspiration to start
Then he bent down and kissed my forehead before I closed my eyes. I felt him caress my hair slowly with his hand and I smiled to myself
Y/n: I love you
I whispered to him and even with my eyes closed I just knew that there was a beautiful adoring smile formed on his face
Percy: I love you too
