Rose felt how heavy the necklace really was "wow that is heavy" rose said holding the necklace that was still around her neck "told you so" Daphne told her with a slight smirk on her face.
Rose opened her eyes again for the third time since she has gotten flashbacks "You actually believe this is great aunt Daphne grandma" Lizzie asked "It is Daphne dear I know what my sister looks like wasn't she a hot number" Rose said.
"I mean it does kinda look like mother" the young female redhead said " who are you and where's Daphne" Brock asked "I'm Aurora Rose Dawson and this is my twin Mason Jack Dawson" the girl said.
Brock was in shock "Dawson so your parents are Daphne and Jack Dawson" he said "ya" Aurora told him "where are they" both kids look down "there dead" Masons said "oh I am so sorry" Brock said.
Everyone went into an awkward silence Brock decided to break it "Rose I tracked the necklace down through insurance records... do you know who the claimant was rost" Brock asked her "I believe it was my father I should imagine" Rose told him looking at him with her head tilted to the right.
"Mason Dewitt Bukater, right" Brock said nodding his head "Pittsburg steel tycoon for a diamond necklace he bought in France for his first born daughter ... Daphne ... a week before his first born daughter's 17th birthday he couldn't give it to her because he passed away" Brock told her.
"See the date" he said "April 14th 1912 JD' " Aurora said reading the date and the initials that was on the drawing "If your great aunt says it's her older sister and your mother then she was wearing the necklace when the Titanic sank" Brock told the kids.
"And that makes you my new best friend" he continued "is there anything you want" he then asked "I don't want your money mr. Lovett Rose told him " you don't want anything" Bodine asked her sceptical "you may give me this if anything I tell you is of value" she said "deal" Brock told her.
Brock crossed the room "over hear we are a few things we've recovered both yours and Daphne's stateroom" Brock said laid out on a work table are a bunch of objects from mundane to valuable Rose shrunken into her chair.
She picked up a mirror "this was mine how extraordinary it looks the same as the last time I saw it" Rose said as she looked at her old mirror she then turns the mirror around and looks at herself in the cracked glass of the mirror
"The reflection has changed a bit" she then said Rose puts the mirror down and see's two hair combs she picks up one it has three blue butterfly's on it in the middle is a big one and small ones on the sides with jules in the middle of each one and it was surprisingly in good shape because it was in the safe.
"This was Daphne's hair comb" Rose said with a sad smile she puts it down gently and then picks up the next one it's a Jade hair comb but with only one big butterfly on it but it wasn't in good shape unlike Daphne's.
"Are you ready to go back to Titanic" Brock asked her softly and carefully Rose nods her head yes.
