Miracle P.O.V.
3 days... it's been 3 days since my baby got shot. 3 days since my angel almost lost her life. I haven't slept in 3 days, I can't eat. Every time I try it's nightmares on top of nightmares. I'm trying my best to be strong but I can't. She doesn't deserve this, I'd rather it be me. I'd take this every day & any time over letting her suffer. She means the most to me, I swear on my life this girl is a literal angel. She does everything and more that I could ever ask for. She can't see me, hear me, or talk to me. I've did everything I could think of but she won't wake up. I don't know if she ever will. I pray over her and pray over this situation because That's all I can do. That's all I know how to do, which is call on God and beg for him to make her better.
I called her parents, even her dad came down. I let them sleep at my place, but I couldn't leave her. Plus I couldn't stay there, I had to track down Jade. From the second I saw the traffic cams, I knew it was her. Why though? Was I supposed to be the one in this bed right now instead of Chanel? Why would she try to kill Chanel? So many thoughts and questions but not enough answers. Ness has her brothers and cousins keeping an eye out on Jade. My brother came in today and had been blowing me up none stop. He more ready then me.
"Go home" Tiff said walking into the room
"Now you know I can't do that" I say keeping my eyes on Chanel
"You look tired Miracle. Comon" She says sitting in the edge of Chanel bed holding her hand
"Stop worrying girl, I'm cool" I say smiling
"Ness found anything?" She asked
"Na, the bitch hiding real good" I say, which was a lie
I knew exactly where Jade was, but timing was everything. I wouldn't dare get Tiff or anybody in Chanel's circle involved. Today was her last day.
I look down to see Ness calling me
"I'll be right back Tiff" I said
I walk out to answer the phone and see what she wanted, hopefully good news
"So you ready?" She ask
"Been ready" I said
"You sure you wanna go through with this Miracle?" She ask
"Vanessa you sound crazy. She tried to take my baby life, she put this shit on herself" I say
"Just making sure nigga, yeen have to go all government on me" she said laughing
"Nigga please, we still meeting at 5?" I ask
"See you at 5" she said hanging up
I walk back in the room to just check on Chanel before I finally leave the hospital, I didn't want to leave but I had to.
I didn't notice tiff had left the room and it was just me and my baby.
"My lover, My best friend, my everything. I love you." I say kissing her forehead and walking out the room
April 6th, 2022
6:15 a.m.
Jade P.O.V.
I look at my phone seeing that it was 6 a.m., I didn't have the strength to get out of bed. Never in a million years would I think I'd do something so dumb. I let my emotions take over and did something horrible. I hurt my baby, I never intended for things to happen this way. It was meant for Miracle. I wanted to check on Chanel so badly but I knew I couldn't. I couldn't even leave my bed.
I went to my bathroom to pee, it was deathly cold in my house which is weird because my air stay on like 68. I did my business and washed my hands, I then went down stairs to check on the air.
"That's weird, why is it on 60" I say to myself while turning it up
All of a sudden I felt something hard hit the back of my head and I was out cold.
5 hours later
I woke up confused with a dumb ass headache. I tried to move but my hands were tied, I tried to scream but everything was muffled.
"Don't scream now" I heard a familiar female voice say, I look around to see miracle
I tried to wiggle my way out my chair but it wouldn't work. I didn't know what do, I didn't want to die.
"You scream, that's your ass" a brown skin stud said taking the tape off my mouth
"So you really thought I was gon let you get away with this shit huh?" Miracle said laughing

"It's nothing to understand. I don't even care about the fact that it was supposed to be me in that be. It's the fact you let her get caught up in the cross fire. Jade you fucked up bad" She said
"You don't deserve her. I do, you don't love that girl like I love her" I say as tears start to form, my emotions once again came over me
"So I don't love her? You wouldn't know what the fuck love looked like if it hit yo ass in the face. Our love is something you'll never know about. Never in your sorry ass pathetic life did you think I would ever let her go back to you." Miracle said
"I swear I wish that was you in that truck. You right she never deserved this but you do you fucking he/she." I say laughing
Omniscient
Miracle then kicked Jade in the chest and the chair fell back. She kicked her and kicked her repeatedly. Miracle wanted Jade to be in pain. The same pain that Chanel felt. Jade screamed and begged for Miracle to stop but all she saw was red.
"Anything you wanna say?" Miracle asked Jade as she looked over her
Marcus, Nessa's brother came from the corner , ready to finish shit off
"Please miracle let me at least call my mo-" gco
Mid sentence Marcus shot Jade dead in the head. Miracle nor Ness had any reaction, Miracle was just happy she was gone. In her last minutes she begged for her life which gave Miracle the ultimate satisfaction. This was all all something miracle was going to have to tell Chanel soon. But Miracle didn't look at it like that, she looked at it in a sense of she got her get back in the most literal sense.
"You need to get back to the hospital" Ness said to Miracle in serious tone
"What's wrong?" Miracle asked
"Tiff said just come and hurry" Ness said
Miracle heart began to drop, she didn't know if Chanel had passed or if she woke up. In that moment she felt numb because she didn't know what to think or do because she didn't know what was going on.
She ran out to her car , making sure not to touch anything and got in her car and sped to the hospital with the emergency lights on
She made it there in 10 minutes top not stopping and going 110, she started crying soon as she pulled up because she was so overwhelmed.
"Miracle" Tiff yells out with a face full of tears and a red nose
"Where is she? What happened?" Miracle asked
"She woke up Miracle and then she called for you! The second I went to call you she started shaking and seizing" she said crying through her tears
Miracle felt sick. She couldn't do anything but cry in her hands thinking "she called for me and I wasn't here. The one time I was supposed to be here I wasn't!"
"Is she okay tiff?" Miracle asked wiping her nose
"She in the ICU, the doctors say she doesn't have a good chance of making it" Tiff said
All miracle could do is sit in the in the chair and play the waiting game she been playing for the longest.
