A woman is walking really fast to a car and keeps looking over her shoulder. A car horn beeps and she drops her groceries. She picks the stuff up but cuts herself. 'Ow, damn it!'
'It's alright, Daisy.' Leo comes up behind her.
Daisy is relieved. 'Oh, Leo, thank God it's you. I have been so scared.'
'Look, you just have to stay strong a little longer and then you'll be safe.' Leo reassures.
Daisy looks around wildly. 'He's out there, Leo. He's going to find me. I've seen what he can do, his powers. (Leo holds her hand and heals it.) How did you do that? Who are you?'
'You just have to trust me, Daisy.' Leo states.
Daisy frowns. 'Why me, Leo? I still don't understand.'
'You have a very special future ahead of you. That's why I wanted you to come to San Francisco. I have powerful friends who can help you.' Leo smiles.
Daisy sighs. 'What if Alec finds me first?'
'He won't be able to. I made you invisible to him.' Leo tells her.
Alec appears. 'Hello, Leo. I've been looking all over for you. Figured you could only be here for one reason. Where are you Daisy? I know you're close by.'
Leo speaks to Daisy without taking his eyes off Alec. 'Don't worry, Daisy. He can't see you. Don't say a word, just leave quickly.'
'Don't listen to him sweetie, don't do it.' Alec commands.
She runs off.
Leo smiles. 'She's already gone.'
'I love her, Leo. Much like you love your little witch. What's her name? Piper?' Alec is sincere.
Leo scoffs. 'Dark lighters aren't capable of love, Alec.'
'This one is. I love Daisy and you are keeping me from her. It was only a couple of days ago that all I had to do was think about her and bang! I'd be there with her. Then suddenly she vanishes from my radar. Cloaked by a white lighter. By you.' Alec snarls.
Leo doesn't back down. 'Then if you know I cloaked her, then you also know that you won't find her as long as I live.'
'Yes, well, I have a solution for that.' Alec gets out his crossbow and shoots Leo.
At home Phoebe, Prue and Prim are talking about Cabo. Phoebe looks at Prue. 'I can not believe you're wearing your bikini on the plane.'
'Time saver. We have all of forty-eight hours in Cabo. The minute we land I'm on the beach getting all golden-brown.' Prue states.
Phoebe sighs. 'I know, but you're making me look frumpy, it's like the sign of the apocalypse. And what about you Prim? How are you feeling about being baby free for a couple days?'
'Well, while I'm happy to be able to relax, I'm also gonna miss Patience so much. I know Piper is great with her and she loves her auntie just as much, but I'm still terrified of leaving her. Honestly, I can't thank Piper enough. I'm gonna pay her back with so much babysitting when she has kids.' Prim smiles.
Prue smiles at the notion as well. 'She is amazing, isn't she?! Anywho, I practically had to beg the guy in accounting to lend us his condo. There are no warlocks in sight, I'm going to get crazy.'
'It's about time. How long have I been after you to find some new male blood? Preferably tan and buff. And Prim I know your holding out for Andy, but your not married. Have fun, flirt a little. Just let loose.' Phoebe commands.
Prim shakes her head. 'This will just be to rest and recharge. I don't need a man to ruin that while I'm vacationing.'
'You do that sis. But I am. And the men will have limited verbal skills.' Prue agrees with Phoebe whilst also supporting Prim.
Phoebe continues. 'And ...'
'No strings attached.' They say together.
Phoebe smirks. 'Stella, we are getting our grove back. (They high five but miss.) Okay, so, speaking of which, where is Piper?'
Prue sighs. 'I think Piper's gonna be in a grove free kinda mood for a while.'
'She's not seriously ...' Phoebe trails off.
'Yeah, afraid so. She's scared to fall in love again.' Prim frowns.
Phoebe nods. 'So, while we're partying all weekend, what is she gonna be doing? Besides watching Patience?'
Prue shakes her head. 'I don't know. The last time I checked she was in the attic looking for a suitcase she put her books in.'
'Books, what kind of books?' Phoebe asks.
Prue furrows her brow.
'Kind they make into Kevin Costner movies.'
'Oh, we've got to stop the insanity.' Phoebe states.
Prue shakes her head. 'Maybe we should let her be, I mean we're not the ones who fell in love with a warlock, a ghost, a geographically undesirable handyman, and a very dorky grad student.'
'Well, Mark and Josh weren't bad. They were really nice, but they were no Leo. Who I still have high hopes for by the way.' Prim smiles.
Phoebe sighs. 'Maybe she's in a slump. (Prue looks at her.) Alright, it happens to Piper a lot, but celibacy is not the answer.'
Prue shakes her head. 'A couple of dates not picking up the check, that's a slump, this is more of a sucking void.'
They here a thump and a little scream coming from the attic. 'Prue! Prim, Phoebe!'
They go up into the attic and see Leo lying on the floor in pain with the arrow stuck in his shoulder.
Prim gasps. 'Leo?'
Prue is getting bandages and stuff out of the bathroom. Phoebe and Piper are carrying Leo to a chair. Prim is trying to get her healing powers to work. 'Come on, come on. Damnit! Why won't it work.'
Piper glares at Phoebe. 'Be careful.'
'I am being careful.' Phoebe grumbles.
'I can't believe you two knew that our handyman, the man I was dating was supernatural and it just happened to slip your minds?' Piper huffs.
Phoebe shakes her head. 'There was no slipping, okay, I told you but you didn't want to believe me.'
'Besides Piper it wasn't our secret to tell. Just like you didn't tell Leo about us and our powers. Although it wasn't necessary.' Prim frowns trying to force her powers to work.
Leo is in pain. 'Prim, it's not gonna work. Your not ready. You will get them, just not at this moment. And Piper, I did want to.'
'But you didn't.' Piper looks away.
Phoebe steps in. 'Okay, we gotta, we gotta get your legs up.'
'Don't worry about me. There's someone, ahh ...!' Leo screams.
Prim goes to grab the arrow. 'We have to get the arrow out. Then I can assess the wound.'
'No, don't touch it, it's tipped with poison.' Leo stops her.
Phoebe sighs. 'How are we suppose to get it out if we can't touch it?'
Prue enters the attic. 'You came to the right girl. You ready? (Prue uses her powers to push the arrow out.) Okay, I brought everything that I could find, I just didn't know what to use on a ... what is he again?'
'A White Lighter.' Piper speaks up.
Phoebe nods. 'Yeah, they're sorta like, you know how Peter Pan has Tinkerbell? They're sorta like that minus the tutu and the wings.'
'Tinker bell wishes she could do what Leo does. He guides witches.' Prim smirks.
'Future White Lighters. That's why I came to you.' Leo looks at them.
Piper turns to Phoebe and Prim. 'You two should of told me.'
Leo sticks up for them. 'I should of told you. (Piper gets a bandage and pushes down on his wound.) Ahh!'
'Oh, did that hurt? Good.' Piper bites out.
Leo sighs. 'There's a woman, Daisy. You have to protect her from the Dark Lighter.'
'The Dark Lighter. Is that what shot you?' Prue asks.
Leo nods. 'Yeah, they seduce innocent women. Their goal is to create evil through reproduction.'
Phoebe groans. 'Great. Generation 666.'
'Although I can see the appeal. Bad boys are hot. Helllooo Spike.' Prim smirks.
Leo sends a small smile her way. 'He broke the rules, he fell in love with one of his victims, a human. And she loved him back.'
'Until she found out who he really was, right?' Piper scoffs.
Leo frowns. 'Piper, you have every right to be mad at me.'
'Thanks for the permission. I'll get some more gauze.' Piper leaves.
Leo turns to the sisters. 'Please, you have to find Daisy before he does otherwise she won't be able to do the good that she's destined to. She won't be able to become a white lighter.'
'Okay, where is she?' Prue asks.
Leo shakes his head. 'I don't know. The last time I saw her she was at a mini-mart and headed for a rental car. If he finds her first he'll never let her go ever again.'
'Any tips on how to vanquish a Dark Lighter in case we run into him?' Phoebe asks.
Leo nods. 'Just don't let him touch you. His power is in his hands and when he chooses to he has the touch of death. Only Prim would live after his touch. She's near invincible because of her healing ability. Although she may not be able to access it, it will protect her from mortal danger.'
Prue sighs. 'And we have the power of four. Alright, call the airline, cancel our tickets, Prim call Andy see if he can help us locate her, and Piper should ...'
'I'll talk to her, somebody's gotta stay with Leo.' Phoebe agrees.
Morris and Andy are at the police station. 'You enjoying this as much as I am?'
Andy tilts his head. 'What's that?'
'The silent treatment and the cold shoulder.' Morris replies.
Andy sighs. 'I know, it's been a week since Internal Affairs has made a move. What are they waiting for?'
'I'm not talking about I.A., I'm talking about you and me.' Morris states.
Andy shakes his head. 'I got no problems.'
'That makes one of us. I.A. is on our ass and I still don't know why but I'm pretty sure you do. You feel like sharing?' Morris asks.
The phone rings. 'Homicide, Trudeau.'
'Hey, Andy. I have a favor to ask.' Prim starts.
'Hey, Franklin. How are things in Forensics?' Andy asks.
Prim understands. 'You can't talk.'
Andy shakes his head. 'No actually. Why don't you have it checked out by the F.B.I. lab?'
Prim bites her lip. 'Andy, we really need your help, it's important. Quake?'
'Okay, I'll be there.' Andy agrees.
Morris doesn't buy it. 'Franklin's wife had a baby girl yesterday. Took a week off. Did he call you from the maternity ward? You don't wanna tell me what's going on, fine. Just don't lie to me partner.'
Prue and Andy are sitting at a table in Quake. 'Andy, what's wrong?'
Andy sighs. 'Internal Affairs are looking into all my unsolved cases. All the cases that involve the supernatural.'
Prim looks down. 'All the ones that involve me. And my sisters. Do you think that they followed you here?'
'I wouldn't put it past them.' Andy scoffs.
Prim grabs his hand. 'Andy, if we ... if I, put you in this situation. I'm sorry.'
Andy shakes his head. 'I put me here, Prim.'
'Yeah, but you didn't do it alone. Can they force you to tell them?' Prim asks.
'About you? I won't. But we have to be careful about being seen together. It has to look like we're still friends.' Andy promises.
Prim smiles. 'Andy, we're more than friends. That will never change.'
'Are you sure I'm not just someone that's keeping your secret, Prim.' Andy looks her in the eyes.
Prim smiles. 'You know me way better than that. I'm glad I told you, I am.'
Andy smiles back. 'So am I. Now when you need me all you have to do is ask.'
Prim sighs. 'I'm asking. I don't want to, but I have to. It's important. A matter of life and death. I need to find someone, she's in danger and we have to get to her before he does.'
Andy cocks his head. 'He? You know what, I don't need to know. Specifics always get me in trouble. Where was the last time she was seen?'
'Headed for a rental car outside a mini-mart.' Prim relays.
Andy nods. 'Well, we can get the security camera from the mini-mart and surrounding businesses. See if we can get the car's license plates and see if it leads us to where she's staying.'
Prim smiles. 'Thank you. Really.'
Back in the attic Phoebe gives something to Leo. 'Leo, I brought you some food in case you're ... you do eat right?'
Leo smiles. 'Yes, Phoebe, I eat. How's Piper?'
'Oh, you know, she's dealing. I mean, it's not everyday that you find out that the guy you're seeing isn't human. Although, in Piper's case. Besides Prue is with her, helping her understand.'
Leo nods. 'I wish she didn't have to find out about me like this. Being with her broke the rules but not being with her breaks my heart.'
'You know, Leo, it's not like we rushed to tell you we were witches. I think Piper understands about those little secrets that we have to keep.' Phoebe smiles.
'Any word on Daisy?' Leo asks.
Phoebe sighs. 'Yes and no. Prim called. Andy thinks he found out where Daisy's staying. They're on their way now. (She pulls off his bandage.) Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.'
'It's okay, I know it's bad.' Leo grimaces.
Phoebe smiles. 'I guess I need to work on my pokerface a little bit, huh. You know Leo, didn't you tell me that White Lighters have the ability to heal? Why can't you just ...'
'No, my powers are for others, I can't use it on myself.' Leo coughs.
Phoebe is worried. 'Ah, you know, we just gotta get you better. Then you and Piper will have lots of time to talk about stuff when you're well.'
'Phoebe, I'm not going to get better.' Leo states.
Phoebe scoffs. 'That's ridiculous, Leo, of course you will, we're just gonna have to find something in the Book of Shadows. Or Prim will find a way to make her healing powers work. You know she's never gonna let you die. She'll bring you back just to give you an earful and kick your ass.'
Leo laughs. 'I'm sure she will. Prim has always been my biggest supporter when it comes to Piper. But it doesn't work like that, the Dark Lighter's poison can't be reversed. It's made to kill White Lighters. That's what it's doing, it's working it's way through my system. It's just a matter of time.'
'How much time?' Phoebe frowns.
'Not much. I'm gonna die and there's nothing you can do about it. My powers are ebbing. And with it, my ability to cloak Daisy.' Leo says seriously.
Phoebe won't give up. 'We're gonna save you both, Leo.'
Downstairs Piper is looking through the Book of Shadows. Phoebe comes downstairs, leaving a sleeping Patience in the attic with Leo.
Piper looks up. 'I have looked everywhere in this damn book for something, anything to help Leo and I can't. If only Prim could get her healing to work. I know she's trying but....What's that face? What's the matter?'
'Leo's in pretty bad shape, Piper. And he's getting worse.' Phoebe solemnly says.
Piper nods. 'I know, that's why I need to find an ointment or a cure or something.'
'You need to listen. This is really hard to say but you really need to hear it. I think that you need to realize the possibility, maybe we're not suppose to save Leo. Maybe he's not our innocent. Maybe we're only meant to save Daisy.' Phoebe tells her.
Piper shakes her head. 'We have to save him whether we're meant to or not.'
Daisy sees some flowers in her hotel room. Alec appears. 'I got you your favorite. I thought you'd be happy to see me. I miss this. Us.'
Daisy is scared. 'There is no us, Alec. Please stop.'
'You're the one Daisy. You're mine. Indian summer, do you remember that Daisy? When it got so hot in the city you could barely breathe. And we sat on the fire escape taking turns, running ice cubes down each others necks.' He smiles.
Daisy yells at him. 'Stop!'
'That's when you first said you loved me. "Forever, Alec. I love you forever." (She throws the vase of flowers at him but missed.) Now, is that anyway to treat the man who loves you?' He asks.
Daisy is disgusted. 'You're not a man. You're not even human.'
'Don't make me regret telling you who I really am. Don't you get it Daisy? I love you and now no one can stop us from being together. Think about it. I found you. What do you think that means? Yeah, that's right, I've clipped Leo's wings and soon he'll be gone so I can find you whenever I want.'
The manager knocks on the door. 'Hello, Manager, is everything okay in there?'
'I win.' Alec states.
Daisy shakes her head. 'No, you only win if I come willingly and I never will.'
'Then I'll never go away.' Alec states.
The manager calls out. 'Hey, I'm coming in.'
Daisy tries to stop him. 'No, don't!'
The manager goes in the room and Alec grabs him. 'Nobody can keep us apart now, Daisy.'
'Please, stop!' Daisy begs.
Alec's touch of death kills the manager. She climbs out the window. Prim and Andy come running in.
Alec shouts after her. 'You can't run from me.'
'Daisy?!' Prim uses her powers on Alec and he flies across the room. Alec turns into some sort of dust and flies out the window.
'What the hell was that?' Andy asks.
Prim sighs. 'Welcome to my world.'
Back at home Phoebe enters the attic. 'Hey, Prim's home, she just ... (Piper is reading a spell out of the Book of Shadows) I hear rhyming, what are you doing?'
'Something I advised against.' Prue glowers.
'I'm doing everything I can. Look, we know Leo can't heal himself but maybe with his powers I can. We don't have another option.' Piper tells them.
Phoebe is clueless. 'What are you talking about?'
'It's a power switching spell. If Leo and I exchange powers then I'll have the healing touch and maybe I can fix him.' Piper explains.
Prim comes in, glancing at her sleeping daughter. 'Hey, what's going on?'
'Ah, you know, the usual, made some coffee, read the newspaper, walked in on Piper switching powers with Leo. You know.' Phoebe relays.
Piper looks at her. 'I have to save him, Prim. I know you won't let die either.'
'Hell no I won't. Let's do it.' Prim agrees.
Prue shakes her head. 'I cannot believe you two. Do you even know if it's safe? Either of you?'
'To tell you the truth I don't really care. He's slipping away and if either one of you have a better idea then I'm all ears, if not then I'm casting the spell and I would like to do it with the support of all my sisters.'
Prue nods. 'Cast away.'
Piper begans to chant. 'What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine, let our powers cross the line, I offer up this gift to share, switch our powers through the air.'
'Did it work?' Phoebe asks.
Piper looks at them. 'I don't know. (Kit runs in and Piper tries to freeze him.) I can't freeze.'
'Okay, that's good. The spell worked. That means Prue, Phoebe and ... (She touches Phoebe and has a premonition.) Woah, I just had one of Phoebe's premonitions.' Prim gasped.
Phoebe is surprised. 'Really? What did you see?'
Prim points to a lamp. 'That shattering.'
Kit jumps on the table where the lamp is. 'Kit, no! (Phoebe puts her hand up at the same time as Prue does. Vines come out of nowhere as well as a small cyclone. And Phoebe makes the lamp fly against the wall and smash.) Did I just do that?'
Prue nods. 'Uh huh, and Prim saw it. So, okay, you're moving things, I'm wielding vines and making tornadoes and Piper can't freeze which means ...'
'Am I gonna get yelled at?' Piper speaks up.
Prue groans. 'It switched all of our powers?'
'It's a supernatural freaky Friday. (The phone rings.) Oh, you know what? I'm going to get that and I'm sure you guys will have all this worked out by the time I get back.' Phoebe leaves.
Piper turns to Leo. 'Okay, I can do this. Now, heal. Come on, heal. Why aren't these working?'
'Okay, okay, okay. Piper, relax. Remember when we first got our own powers, it took us a while to learn how to trigger them.' Prue assures.
Piper frowns. 'Well, I'm doing what I always do.'
'Well, maybe instead of your trigger, you have to find his.' Prim states.
Phoebe comes back in the attic. 'Hey, that was Andy. A new charge came up on Daisy's credit card report. She bought a bus ticket twenty minutes ago. She's running again.'
'If she leaves town we'll never be able to find her. Let's go.' Prue tells them.
Phoebe stops her. 'Wait, we have to switch our powers back.'
Piper refuses. 'Not until I heal Leo.'
'Piper, we have to get Daisy.' Phoebe replies.
Piper is adamant. 'And I have to heal him, I'm not losing him again.'
Prim smiles. 'Piper, you stay here. Figure out how to use his powers and save him. Preferably by the time we get back. We are going to find Daisy before the Dark Lighter does. We'll just have to do it using each other's powers. Come on.'
At the police station, I.A. is grilling Andy. 'You wanted to see me?'
Inspector Anderson nods. 'Sit down.'
'You make a habit out of showing up at the scene before the crime is reported, Inspector.' Rodriguez inquires.
Andy shrugs. 'I don't know what you're talking about.'
'Motel capree, no one called the manager's murder in, Trudeau. Not until you did.' Inspector Anderson replies.
Andy just stares. 'I got a tip.'
'You're lying. Witnesses placed you at the scene with a woman. 5"4' or 5', brunette, attractive. Ring any bells?' Rodriguez asks.
Andy scoffs. 'Last time I checked I didn't have to reveal my informers to you, Rodriguez.'
'Maybe not in a court of law but the last time I checked we weren't in one. This is an I.A. investigation, you don't have the same rights. You have no idea how much I can hurt you.' Rodriguez threatens.
Anderson sighs. 'Just tell us who you're covering for, Inspector.'
Andy stands up and puts his gun and badge on the table. 'Screw you.' He walks out the room.
Daisy is at the bus depot. 'Excuse me. Where can I find bus 24?'
The guy turns around and it's Alec. 'I told you I'd always be there for you, Daisy.'
She walks off quickly and bumps into a man. 'I'm sorry.'
The man turns around and it's Alec again. 'It's quite alright. I'm in no hurry. You care to join me?'
Prim, Phoebe and Prue enter the depot. Prue keeps poking Phoebe. 'Okay, are you trying to piss me off?'
Prue nods. 'That's exactly what I'm trying to do only it's not working.'
'How do you know?' Phoebe asks.
'Because I don't see anything flying across the room. Look, you're gonna need to know how to use my power in case the Dark Lighter shows up, remember. When I first got my power it was anger that triggered it, so I need to push your buttons.' Prue explains.
Phoebe scoffs. 'Okay, it's not that easy to break me.'
'Hey Prue, what was it in high school that the guys started calling her after they caught her making out with someone under the bleachers?' Prim smirked.
Phoebe rolls her eyes. 'It's not gonna work.'
'Oh, yeah. Now what was it? Oh yeah, Freebie! (The magazines on a rack spin around and fall off.) Well, class over.' Prue smiles.
Phoebe glares. 'You know that was just a rumor, right? Okay, now it's your turn. Use Prim's powers.'
'Alright.' Prue nods. It takes a few tries but she finally manages to create a small vortex in her hand and make a wilted tree nearby come back to life.
Prim groans. 'Guess it's my turn. Okay, let's find Daisy.' She places her hand on a chair and nothing.
'Okay, you know, you guys take for granted that I'm your innocent yellow pages. Okay, this takes work.' Phoebe grunts.
Prim bites her lip. 'This is useless, okay, I'm never going to get ... (she has a premonition) Do your ears always ring when you do that?'
Phoebe nods. 'What did you see?'
'It went by so fast, but if I were a betting woman I would say it was Daisy.' Prim states.
'Where is she?' Phoebe asks.
Prim points. 'Bathroom.'
Daisy is talking to herself in the bathroom. 'I'm gonna be okay, I can handle this.'
Alec appears. 'You can't run from me, Daisy.'
'Why won't you leave me alone?' Daisy cries out.
Alec smiles. 'Because we can be happy together. We were once, remember? All you have to do is come with me willingly.'
'And what? Watch while you kill more innocent people?' Daisy asks.
Alec shrugs. 'He made me do that. That man would still be alive if he had just come with me. That's all I ask and the killing'll stop. We can have eternity together.'
Daisy knees him in the stomach. Prue, Prim and Phoebe enter the bathroom.
'I believe this is the ladies room.' Prue states.
Alec looks at them, eyes resting on Prim. 'And this is a private conversation.' His crossbow appears.
'Woah. Ya know he's actually kinda hot. Too bad he's evil. What did I tell ya, It's always the bad boys.' Prim smirks.
Alec looks at Prim curiously.
Prue grabs Phoebe. 'Oh, oh, Phoebe. (Phoebe puts her hand up and all the soap squirts out of the soap dispensers and the water comes out of the taps. Alec laughs.) Okay, now would be a very good time to get angry.'
'I've never used this on a witch before.' Alec smirks.
Prue tries again. 'Oh, grandma's car, fender dented, you got blamed for it, I did it.'
Alec flies into a cubicle. 'I got grounded for that, Prue.'
Prue picks up the crossbow. 'I've never used this on a Dark Lighter before.'
She shoots the arrow at him but he turns into dust and floats away. He reappears behind Prim, grabbing her and then disappears again.
Prue calls out. 'Prim, No! This isn't good. He just took our sister.'
'She'll be fine. Leo said he can't hurt her, well technically he can't kill her. We'll get her back.' Phoebe replies calmly.
Daisy is scared. 'Oh God, is he ...?'
'Daisy, Leo sent us, we have to take you to him. Come on.' Phoebe tells her.
In the attic Piper is still trying to heal Leo. 'Oh God, please work. Come on. Work.'
'When I die ...' Leo's voice is raspy.
Piper shakes her head. 'You're not going to die.'
'And when it happens this where I wanna be. I love you.' Leo smiles.
Downstairs Prue, Phoebe, and Daisy enter the house. There are flowers sitting on a table. 'Oh God, he found me again.'
'How do you know?' Phoebe asks.
Daisy points at the vase. 'That's what he does, he sends me flowers so I know he's watching.'
Phoebe reads the note. 'No, honey, these are for Prim.'
'They're from Andy, he needs to see Prim right away.' Prue reads.
Phoebe watches her. 'Something wrong with his phone?'
'That's not the point. The problem here is that our sister is with a dark lighter as we speak. How is she gonna go see Andy to find out what he wants.' Prue sighs.
Phoebe frowns. 'I don't know. Maybe I can physically send her a message? It is my power. I don't know if it'll work, but it's all we got.' She closes her eyes and waits a few minutes. 'I'm not sure if it worked or not. I guess we'll find out soon enough. In the mean time we should go up and check on Leo.'
'Okay, let's go.' Prue agrees.
Somewhere else Prim punches Alec in the face. 'Where the hell did you bring me?'
'Does it really matter?' Alec runs his jaw smirking.
Prim sighs. 'Nah, guess not. Not like I'm gonna be around for long. But why in the world did you take me?'
'You intrigue me. Your the first person to be able to resist my touch. Why is that?' Alec wonders.
Prim crosses her arms. 'Something to do with my healing ability I'm guessing. Which I haven't acquired yet.'
'Yes, that makes sense. Your immune to my power. Fascinating.' He touches her cheek.
Prim knocks his hand away. 'I'm not gonna be singing touch a, touch a, touch me anytime soon mister. And i rarely make a habit of singing it to the bad guy.'
'I fell in love. Does that really make me a bad guy?' Alec states.
Prim looks away. 'No. Falling in love doesn't.' She looks back. 'But killing people, that's a whole nother ball game.'
'You know, your the first person to believe I'm capable of love. Your whitelighter sure doesn't. Why do you?' He tilts his head.
Prim smiles softly. 'I believe anyone can fall in love. Doesn't matter who you are or what you did. Other people have no right to say who is and isn't capable of it.'
Alec smiles at her. He leans in and Prim decks him in the face again. Than does it again. 'What the hell dude?! I thought you said your in love with Daisy. What kind of guy does that? The second punch was for what you did to Leo. He's like my fucking brother. If he dies, your death with be slow and painful.'
Alec laughs. 'Sorry. I deserve that.' He frowns. 'You think you can love more than one person?'
Prim scoffs. 'Sure. You can have more than one soul mate. But only in certain circumstance.'
Prim is suddenly sucked into a premonition. It's Phoebe telling her Andy wants to talk. She looks at Alec and smirks. 'Sorry, I really gotta go. You wouldn't be so kind as to let me go would you?! They always say if you love something set it free.'
Alec laughs. 'Where would the fun be in that?'
Prim shrugs. 'Suit yourself hotshot.'
She takes out some pepper spray Andy made her carry. She sprays him, then does a leg sweep and runs away. 'See ya soon lady killer. Man I'm missing my powers right now.'
She heads to meet Andy.
Piper is sitting on the floor of the attic.
Phoebe walks in. 'Piper, we found Daisy ...'
'I tried. He's gone.' Piper cries.
Prue runs to comfort her.
Daisy and Phoebe are running down the stairs. 'I don't think this is the best time for you to be alone.'
'Without Leo it's just a matter of time before Alec finds me again. I have to get away.' Daisy says.
Phoebe shakes her head. 'No. My sister's and I can take care of Alec.'
'I don't want you to try. Too many people are dead now because of me and now Leo. Your sister was even taken by him.' Daisy states.
Phoebe sighs. 'Honey, that's not your fault.'
'It doesn't matter. When Alec finds me again he's not gonna let you get in the way either. It's better off that I leave. Trust me. I have to go.' Daisy turns to leave.
'Don't you dare. Leo gave up his life to bring you here. Prim was taken trying to keep you safe. If you leave, Alec will find you for sure. And Leo's death will mean nothing. You're not going anywhere.' Piper barks out.
Andy is at the park sitting on a seat swing. Prim walks up to him and sits down. 'There's something wrong, isn't there. Is it the internal affairs guys?'
Andy sighs. 'Yeah, unfortunately. Why do you sound like you just ran a marathon?'
'Well Leo was poisoned by a dark lighter. He's a whitelighter. Kinda a good vs evil scenario. Polar opposites. So Piper switched all our powers to save him since I can't get my healing to work. We saved that woman Daisy, but Alec, the darklighter kidnapped me.' Prim tells him the truth.
Andy is pissed. 'Wait, he kidnapped you? Are you okay? Did he hurt you?'
'Nope. His killing touch doesn't work on me. Which is why he kidnapped me, he was intrigued. He did hit on me though. He wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I pepper sprayed his ass and hightailed it here, once I got Phoebe's premonition of you.' Prim smirks.
Andy laughs. 'Can't blame him. You are irresistible. Look Prim, I did everything that I could to keep Internal Affairs from finding out about you. There's not much more I can do after today.'
'Andy, what did you do?' Prim frowns.
Andy smiles. 'I wouldn't tell them what they wanted to know. I turned in my shield. automatic suspension. I gotta hand it to Rodriguez, he's a pit bull. But when he connects you to all those unsolved cases he can put the heat on you to get to me. Unless you're careful. He's gonna figure out that it's you and your sister's that he really wants.'
'Wait, you're protecting me even after you just got suspended?' Prim bites her lip.
Andy nods. 'Until I.A.'s off my case, it's better if we're not even seen together. You don't want them to connect the dots believe me.'
'You're about to lose everything that you've worked for and your still worried about me.' Prim smiles sadly.
Andy smiles back. 'Well, everyone of those unsolved cases that Rodriguez is tracking down, there's an innocent life that you and your sister's helped to save. What you're doing is the reason I became a cop. I guess that's how I do it.'
'I'm so sorry.' Prim looks down.
Andy tilts her chin up. 'No, don't be. Everything happens for a reason. Remember, you taught me that.'
Prim kisses him on the cheek. 'Thank you, Andy.'
She gets up and starts to walk away. 'Take care, Prim.'
Piper is watching Leo from the doorway. Phoebe walks up to Piper. 'I thought you might want to talk.'
'He could of stayed with us, he could of fought harder.' Piper says softly.
Phoebe frowns. 'He was in pain, he had to let go.'
'He didn't have to, our magic's never failed before. I cast the spell, I took his power, all he had to do was show me how to do it and he never did.' Piper replies.
Phoebe looks at her sister. 'How can you be mad at him?'
'Because it should of worked. Prim's having premonitions, Prues creating mini tornadoes whilst saving tees and you figured out how to use her power, why couldn't I find a trigger? Why couldn't he just help me, give me his power?' Piper is breaking.
Phoebe sighs. 'He wanted to live, he didn't want to leave you. It's hard to lose someone you love.'
A little while later Piper's in the attic with Leo. 'I love you, Leo. (She's crying and a tear drop lands on her hand and her hand started glowing.) I found it. Leo, I love you. (She holds her glowing hand over Leo and she heals him.) Can you hear me? I love you, Leo, please hear me.'
Leo wakes up. 'Piper.'
They hug. 'Oh, thank God. I tried so hard and I couldn't make it work before. Why didn't you tell me?'
'That love was the trigger? You had to find that out on your own. Why couldn't you tell me?' Leo asks.
Piper shakes her head. 'I don't know. I was afraid, I was afraid if I admitted how I really felt it would hurt more if I lost you. I'm so sorry, I should of said it before.'
'It's better late then never.' Leo smiles.
Piper helps Leo down the stairs. Phoebe is relieved. 'Leo. Oh my God, how did you ...?'
'There's no time to explain.' Piper tells her.
Leo looks at Daisy. 'You've been out of the cloak too long. Alec can find her.'
'Where's Prue? And Prim? We need to get them back here and we need to find a spell to vanquish the Dark Lighter.' Piper states.
Leo nods. 'A power of four spell.'
'Okay, I think she has her cell phone on. (Alec appears. Phoebe tries to use Prue's power.) No!'
The light bulbs smash above him. He grabs Piper. 'Alright, no more tricks, ladies.'
'Let her go, Alec.' Leo demands.
Alec shakes his head. 'I don't think so. My pretty witch already got away. Besides, now, I have what you love, you've got what I love. Care to trade? (Phoebe puts her hand up.) Don't do that. (His hand starts glowing.) I will kill her if I have too. You still think I'm incapable of love, Leo? Prim didn't think so. You wanna see far I'm willing to go?'
'Alec, no!' Daisy shouts.
'Daisy, stay back.' Piper growls.
Alec looks at her. 'You shut up!'
Prue opens the door, her and Prim walk in and Alec pushes Piper into Phoebe and grabs Daisy. Leo shouts. 'No!'
"Phoebe, stop him!' Prue tells her.
Alec looks at Prim. 'Dont worry, I'll be back for you dear.'
'I'll be waiting. But this time, I'm gonna send your ass back to hell.'
He pushes her into the china cabinet as she tries to grab for Daisy then he disappears with her.
Prim groans and gets up. She has a shard of glass in her side. She hisses in pain as she pulls it out. 'Fuck!'
Prue goes to look at it, and as soon as she places her hand on it, it heals to a nice scar. 'Did I just do that?'
Piper looks at them. 'It wasn't me.'
'Great. You don't have my powers for a full day and you can heal.' Prim frowns.
Leo puts a hand on her shoulder. 'You'll get there. And when you do, it won't leave a scar. Prue maybe able to use your powers but they were never meant for her. So she can only do minor healing, never completely.'
Piper is now using Leo's power to try and find Daisy. 'I can't do it.'
'Yes you can. You have every one of my powers including the power to find Daisy.' Leo encourages.
Prue speaks up. 'Leo, wouldn't it be faster for you guys just to switch you powers back?'
Leo shakes his head. 'No, I'm still too weak. It's up to Piper. Trust me, Piper. Okay, look deep inside yourself, the place where you find peace, place where you find love.'
Piper nods. 'Right, I can hear her.'
'Listen to her, let her tell you where she is.' Leo smiles.
Piper frowns. 'She's screaming, she's afraid, he's pushing her past some trees.'
'Can you recognize the place, can you tell where they're at?' Leo asks.
Piper opens her eyes. 'Hero's Grove, Golden Gate park.'
'Let's go.' Prue states.
Piper shakes her head. 'What about Leo?'
'I'm fine. Save Daisy.' Leo tells her.
Prue sighs. 'Piper, we really need the power of four to do this.'
'Actually, I don't think we do. I think there's a better way. Piper, you stay with Leo. Prue, you drive, I'll talk.' Phoebe commands.
Alec and Daisy are at the Golden Gate Park. 'Why are taking me here?'
'You could of been my mate, Daisy, my equal. At least I have one to fall back on.' Alec states.
Daisy cries. 'I don't understand.'
'And now you've made this place your death bed. It's your own fault you won't live.' Alec tells her.
Daisy begs him. 'Please don't kill me. If you ever loved me.'
'If I ever loved you what? You think I could just get over you? Move on, find somebody else? You're right. You may be the first woman I ever loved, but I found a witch who believes I'm capable of such an act. And she's immune to my powers. But Daisy, I'm gonna be the last man you'll ever leave.' Alec smirks.
His hand glows red hot. Prue, Prim, and Phoebe run over to them.
'Let her go!' Prue demands.
Alec scoffs. 'No! I'll be with my witch in a moment.'
'Your witch? As if!' Prim gags.
Phoebe is angry. 'Son of a ... (She uses Prue's powers and he flies through the air.) Do it Prim, now!'
Prim starts to chant. 'What's mine is yours, what yours is mine, let our powers cross the line.'
'You really should of stayed out of this. But it doesn't matter, we'll be together soon my love.' Alec smiles at Prim.
Prim continues. 'I offer up this gift to share, switch our powers through the air.'
Alec's hand stops glowing and Prim's hand starts glowing. 'What? Where's my power?'
Prim gasps. 'It's hate. Hate is his trigger.'
'Then hate him.' Prue says.
Prim bites her lip. 'Bring him to me, Phoebe. (Prim puts her glowing hand on his chest and burns him to death.) What's mine is yours, what yours is mine, let our powers cross the line.'
'He's gone. You did it.' Daisy smiles.
'You okay?' Phoebe asks.
Prim fowns. 'I didn't know how much hate one person could have. I didn't know I could feel that way, and I never wanna feel it again.'
'You just gave me my life back.' Daisy is happy.
Phoebe looks at Prim. 'Now, when we get home, you're gonna give me my power back, right?'
Leo and Piper are laying on the couch in the attic together. 'I almost wish I didn't give you your powers back. Then you wouldn't be able to leave.'
'Me too.' Leo agrees.
Piper looks up at him. 'So if Daisy's a White Lighter to be, doesn't that mean you used to be ...'
'Human? Yes it does. I was actually born right here in San Francisco. I had lived here all the way up till I went after the war.' Leo replies.
Piper is surprised. 'You mean like Vietnam?'
Leo laughs. 'No. World war II. I had left med school and enlisted as a medic. I wanted to help save people not shoot them. The last thing I remember I was bandaging a soldiers head wound and I felt a sharp pain and the next thing I know I was floating surrounded by White Lighters. They offered me immortality and the chance to help special people like you. I never once doubted that I didn't make the right choice. Till I met you. Ever since, all I can think is how I'd give it up and have a mortal life again to have a family, grow old with you.'
'Is that possible?' Piper asks.
Leo nods. 'Yeah, I can become human again, Piper, if you want me to.'
'Are you kidding? I want that more than anything I don't want to lose you again.' Piper tells him.
Leo knows there's more. 'But ...'
'But then you wouldn't be able to help other witches or other future White Lighters would you? You couldn't save the next Daisy.' Piper frowns.
There's silence.
Leo is sad. 'I better go. (They kiss.) I love you.'
He disappears.
"I love you too.' Piper softly replies.
Andy meets Morris at a construction site. The two I.A. guys are there in their car trying to hear what they're saying.
'How ya doing?' Morris asks.
Andy sighs. 'Been better. How about you?'
'Those I.A.'s son of bitchs made me work more.' Morris replies.
Andy nods. 'Yeah. So you wearing one?'
'What do you think?' Morris asks.
Andy is worried for him. 'You in any kind of trouble?'
'Less than you.' Morris assures.
Andy looks at him. 'I just want you to know I'm doing it for a good cause.'
'Andy, I'm your partner. More importantly I'm your friend. I wanna believe you're on our side. It would really help me if I knew why you were doing this. I'm not asking you for I.A. I'm asking you for me. I think you owe me one.' Morris states.
Inspector Rodriguez looks at his partner. 'I told you they would didn't I?'
Inspector Anderson sighs. 'Doesn't do us any good if we can't hear them over the noise. I sure wish I could read lips.'
'Who you covering for?' Morris asks.
Andy tells him the truth. 'It's Prim. And all I can tell you is she's connected to all our unsolved cases.'
'Prim, huh? I was so hoping you weren't gonna say that.' Morris groans.
Inspector Anderson shakes his head. 'I can't hear a thing.'
'He's covering up for Prim Halliwell.' Rodriguez tells him.
Inspector Anderson is confused. 'What? How the hell did you know ... Oh my God.'
Inspector Rodriguez's eyes turn red and he makes the earphones that Anderson is wearing make a deafening sound.
At home Piper is in the attic. She finds Leo's dog tags and puts them around her neck. 'Leo.'
Downstairs, Phoebe looks at her other two sisters. 'Is it just me or can you draw a chalk outline around this place?'
'Well, I don't know what you could possibly mean, Phoebe, I mean the weekend's almost over, we never made it to Cabo, and Piper just lost the love of her life.' Prue states.
Prim smiles. 'There's always a silver lining, Prue, Piper saved the love of her life, Alec is long gone, thank god, he was starting to creep me out with his stalking me and giving me nicknames, and Daisy's on her way back to her family.'
'And we even managed to straighten out our powers thank God.' Phoebe gets three pineapples out of the fridge.
'Thank God? I thought that you always wanted an active power.' Prue asks.
Phoebe nods. 'Maybe, but I never thought I'd actually miss my premonitions. Your power was like wearing a dress that was too tight. Not that would ever happen.'
'Remember when Prue said you had no vision.' Prim asks.
Phoebe smiles. 'Which time?'
'Well, I will never let her say it again. It takes a lot of strength to see what you see.' Prim replies.
Phoebe nods. 'I'll drink to that. We can't go to Cabo, we might as well bring Cabo to us.'
'I don't know, Pheebs, we still have some serious problems.' Prue doubts.
She plays some reggae music on the CD player. 'Problems are for Monday mornings. What do you say?'
'It's gonna be hell of a Monday morning but until then ...' They toast their drinks.
