Kai's POV
30 minutes ago in Hatoyama Farm
After the second group left to search for Ayumi, I was staying with Wakasa, Haibara and Genta in Hatoyama Farm while waiting for the second group hope to find her.
"I hope Ayumi-chan is safe" Haibara mumbled in a little worried face.
"Yeah.." Kai replied
Haibara and I saw Wakasa-sensei touched her pocket to make sure if something is with her but it was vanished.
In Rumi's POV, She touched her pocket to make sure her shogi piece is with her but it suddenly vanished.
"What the.. My shogi piece is missing.." Wakasa expressed her anger over her lost shogi piece.
"Hey Hai-chan, Do you think Wakasa-sensei could be hiding something?" I lowered my voice to talk with her
"Yeah, Looks like she lost something on her pocket" Haibara felt suspicious and observed Rumi who searched her lost something.
Genta reached out to ask what Rumi searched her lost something "Hey sensei, If you're looking for something. It was Amuro-niichan who got something. it could be wood chip.
"I see. The detective got it. Thanks Kojima-kun!" Rumi faked smile and patted him as Genta turned around and walked into me and Haibara. Her face turned into serious face.
Back to Present....
It's been over 30 minutes passed since the second group went out to search for Ayumi but they never return back in Hatoyama Farm which made the first group very concerned and worried about their safety.
"Kuroba-kun, we're worried about the second group took long time to find Ayumi-chan" Haibara spoke up to me
"Yeah, let's contact Co-chan using this detective boys badge transmitter" I brought the badge to show her
"Hey Co-chan, are you there? We're super worried that you guys seems not contact us after searching for her" I said over the badge
"Perfect timing! Kai-chan, can you let Haibara and others listen my instruction" My boyfie replied back to me
"Oh okay, everyone let's listen closer here. Co-chan, what are you doing? Are you lost or something what?" I instructed them to listen my boyfriend and asked question to him
"No, We're trapped and locked up inside the basement by the owner's brother who kidnapped Ayumi when we earlier encountered during the search"
"What?! By the owner's brother?" Haibara grabbed and held my badge transmitter
"Yeah, furthermore, we found the farm owner's corpse was dead on the bed inside the basement"
"Are you saying that the owner's brother killed him?" Haibara asked him
"No. Judging from the victim's death, we concluded that he committed suicide on his own" Conan explained them about the victim's death
"More importantly, Did you find Ayumi-chan?" Wakasa asked to make sure if the group found her
"Yeah. The owner's brother found her then he drugged her to put her sleep and is currently out of cold" Conan replied Wakasa's question.
"Then We'll come to rescue you-" Genta spoke up but was cutted off by Conan
"Wait! Don't do this without proper plan. If you all discovered by the owner's brother then he could be trapped you. Be careful!"
"Oh okay.." Genta responded
Conan explained everything about the owner's brother stole explosive, informed about the description face looks like and warned us to be careful around him
"Do you understand? Call the police without the presence of the owner's brother"
3rd Person's POV
Meanwhile in Hatoyama Farm
As soon as the silhouette approached the first group who stayed in Hatoyama Farm to ask "Excuse me, Are you looking for someone?"
Kai and Haibara found the match description of the owner's brother as provided by Conan who told them eariler as they were ready to defend themselves from the danger of safety.
"Actually-" Genta began answering but was cutted off by Kai covered his mouth.
"My apologize for this, But we're looking for a family who are with children for our same age who were together with us" Haibara faked explaining to the owner's brother
"Oh. They asked me about my owner's brother. I told them that my owner's brother was hospitalized that's why they were not here to see him." The owner's brother said in a genuine smile
I felt something doesn't right from the owner's brother said to Haibara.
As soon as the two people appeared in the Hatoyama Farm.
After that the two people called the owner's brother out to ask where to find something as he went into them. It could be win-win chance to rescue them.
Then We've heard by Co-chan "Have you gotten any phone to call them?"
"Yes. Only Wakasa-sensei could do it."
As Wakasa-sensei called the police and explained everything about what happened to the victim, stolen explosion and the suspect.
"Thank you very much!" Wakasa-sensei said as the call ended.
"It's done. Nagano Police HQ will come here." Wakasa told the rest of first group
"Co-chan, Nagano Police HQ will be there shortly."
As soon as Nagano Police arrived but their car was almost far from Hatoyama which means the owner's brother didn't notice the police cars.
As the detectives from Nagano appeared "Hey! I'm here!"
"Finally! They're here! Let's rescue them!" Genta said in a determined face
"Hold on.. Is that you Ai-chan?" A woman detective revealed as Yui Uehara.
"H-hello detective-san! It's been a while!" Haibara greeted Uehara and the two detective
"Wait, does that mean Conan-kun is here with you?" Uehara pointed Kai out as if she's mistaken Kai's appearance for Conan.
"Ah no. He's Kai Edogawa, a twin brother of Conan" Haibara explained her
"Oh my apologizes! Can you tell us what happened after gotten a call from someone? May I ask who called us? Uehara asked them about what happened while crossing her arms
"It was me who called you" Rumi raised her hand to tell her
"Alright, before I ask you to fill in, where's detective kid?"
"Actually.."
The second group explained about the incident happened when first group took long time to search for Ayumi, the suspect, victim and the massive explosives inside the farm.
"What.. Conan-kun was locked inside the basement with the first group?!?" Uehara was stunned what the group explained.
As soon as Conan called us again using the detective badge transmitter.
"Are the police make it in time?" Conan asked them
"Oh yeah, I met Uehara-san from Nagano Police but her friends aren't around with her. Some detectives are assisting her." Haibara replied
Uehara heard the voice of Conan and asked question to him "Hey Conan-kun, it's me Detective Uehara Yui, Can you tell us about what happened to the victim who was lying down on the bed?"
"According to the detective who is with me, After he learned from Intel about the stolen explosion and pursued the suspect but ended up locked inside the basement. When he woke up from unconscious and discovered the victim died. We concluded based on his death, he committed suicide on his own"
"Alright, we'll help you! I'll request a back-up from HQ for arrest the suspect" Uehara understood the situation provided from Conan as she got a phone to call Nagano HQ for urgent back-up
As soon as the police entered the office slowly to break the lock up inside the basement.
Conan's POV
Before the police arrive to break the lock the door inside the basement then we saw Ayumi who woke up from drugged
"Ugh.. (Yawn)" Ayumi finally woke up
"Welcome back!" Kobayashi said to her
In Ayumi's POV, Ayumi remembered what happened and screamed out of cry after he kidnapped her.
I rushed to hug Ayumi and calm her down "You don't have to worry about the kidnapper. He's not here" which made Ayumi felt relieved.
"Ayumi-chan, can you tell us what happened?" Mitsuhiko asked her
"Oh yeah, after I caught the chicken then I saw brown-alike wrapped on the tree but someone came to drug me"
"Don't tell me... That thing" I was stunned while looking at Amuro then they nodded
When the police broke the basement's door, they all rescued from the police and Uehara-san as soon as the other arrest team from Nagano HQ finally made it in time and rushed to ambush the suspect and arrested the suspect for kidnapping and attempted murder for trying to kill a man who drove his brother to suicide and they later discovered the explosive as Ayumi described earlier. Then, the police discovered the laptop that have inside written document type revealed as suicide note for the victim's brother. His reason is he was ashamed of himself after several scam so he won't tell his brother about this.
After the case was over, As soon as Kobayashi and others are about to go back to Tokyo but Amuro grabbed my shoulder "Hey, may i have a word for you? which he nodded as response leaving Kai and Haibara a confused face
"Excuse me Sensei, can i borrow Conan-kun for a bit talk?" He asked permission from Kobayashi-sensei which she gave ok to him and let them go
I walked with Amuro inside the forest tree and then I finally spoke up "Amuro-niichan, what do you need from me?"
"Actually, I was told from Akai-san-"
"Wait. I thought you and Akai-san used to be enemy before? how come you rely on him?" I cutted him off
"Oh yeah.. we reconciled each other when i sneaked your house a while ago after that I met your parents when i tried to ambush Akai but they told me to cooperate work with them so I know you are Shinichi-kun"
"What the..."
"Don't worry, Shinichi-kun, I'm your ally so I am aware of your identity and of course Kaito Kid and Shiho too.. I will help you as much as i want but i'd be careful around them okay"
"Thank you Furuya-san!"
"How did you know? I guess you heard from Kazami hehe.. It's fine as long as Chief Kuroda kept telling me to follow your order"
"So tell me about Rum?"
"Oh.. I never met Rum but i guess i joined Organization after my friend died when he was with Akai before Akai was expelled from organization revealed as a FBI posed risk for them. I believe its 2 years ago"
"I see.."
"The reason why I came here for another purpose is I'm investigating Rumi Wakasa per Chief Kuroda's order and I found something looks interesting.."
"So you got Shogi piece" A silhouette appeared out of blue and came to surprise them.
"Nani.." Amuro reacted his shocking face as he saw the back of forest tree
"Finally, we've came to a shed light. so you're Asaka the Bodyguard from 17 years ago, is this right? Wakasa-sensei."
"Yes of course, Shinichi-kun, can you hand over the shogi piece to me so i can help you out for cooperation if not, I will smack all of you with force"
"I understand how you feel about the shogi piece is more important to you but I need you to be ally to us"
"Fine.. I'll tell you everything once I'm ready for this"
"So that's clear for me. I won't tell them you know what I mean about this. Let's go back Tokyo" Amuro said to them
As soon as Amuro handed the Shogi piece to Rumi Wakasa after doing a brief look at it. "Here you go, My job is done."
When they came back from done briefing talk, The Shounen Tantei kept complaining at them for taking too long for them which they apologized them.
They left Gunma-Nagano for going back Tokyo.
Kai's POV
While riding the train for going back Tokyo with the group
"Why haven't you tell me about this.. After I discovered Wakasa-sensei's identity became known to them without telling me and Haibara" I looked at my boyfriend who was talkative with Amuro and Haibara
As soon as I got my phone to ask Jii-chan about looking for jewel so I can resume working to continue my mission.
"I'm sorry, Shin-chan" I mumbled myself when holding my phone
The finally awaiting secret for Wakasa is over. Next, Kai will be gone for new mission on himself without telling his boyfriend. What will happen them once they discovered Kai's secret doing?
