Reposting. I ended up editing this chapter since it flopped hard the first time. People didn't like the idea of Y/n having liked a guy is my guess. There will be more info at the end so I hope y'all give it a second chance.

The next chapter should be done I'd say a day or 2

What a way to end it last chapter am I right? Well the waits over time to see what happens next. Thanks for the continues support as always  <3

The echo of Annabeth's yell was still vibrating around them. It was so dark they couldn't see much, the only reason they were able to track the direction their friends were going was because of Y/n yellow backpack. Now it was gone. . . he was gone

"I just watch our friend fall into the deep pit I couldn't believe it" Percy thought

Grover was crying while shouting at himself "I failed again! I failed again!" he bleated with each hiccupped cry

Annabeth was so shocked "Oh, Y/n. . ."

Tears were pouring down her face and Percy hadn't realized it but he too was crying. "At first I was skeptical about Y/n, but Annabeth was right about him. He truly was Selfless. He sacrificed himself to save Grover." Percy thought

Grover had hugged Percy crying Annabeth hugged her knees to her chest.

Percy's mind was racing, the prophecy was being repeated in his head. Most importantly the ending.

"And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end

"Did this mean Y/n. . .Grover had failed to grab him. Was Y/n destined to die on this quest." Percy asked himself.

Who knows how long they stayed there quiet, he turned to Annabeth but her head was down crying. Grover was still crying by his side. He was brought out of his thoughts when a voice whispered from the pit. He tried to move and get closer to the eerie edge, but Grover pulled him back.

He had already failed to save Y/n he didn't want another gone. He shook his head and kept a hard grip on Percy's shoulder.

Percy stared at the edge

"Please don't let this be true. . . come on Y/n. " Percy said

Annabeth looked up her brows furrowed confused like she picked up on something.

"Did you both hear that?" she asked

Grover looked at her wiping his eyes "What?"

Percy shushed him, he focused on the edge. He heard it no more like felt a warm breeze. Then out of the corner of his eye he saw a faint glow he remember back from the truck they rode on. Followed by the glow a bloody hand grip the edge. Everyone rushed towards said hand their hearts almost stopping

***

It was dark and my fall was long. My body was screaming in pain. I concentrated on to the point of where the pain starts. I understood why there was so much pain, my right wing had been crushed. . . it was broken.

Deep down flying was my only option to get back up, but I was spinning so much I couldn't tell where up or down was. To figure it out I did something stupid, but it did save my life. I shot my hand to the side digging deep into the edge. It was as if I was putting my hands on a grinder tenfold.  It worked I slowed and stopped, yet something told getting back up was going to be harder.

Like spring warmth I hadn't realized I felt Parádeisos had changed back into a bracelet. In my fall it had came to me, I summoned my spear I stab into the rock and I proceed to climb back up. Flapping my wings was a pain so unbearable, but I ignored it using my strength in small intervals.

Every now and then I slide back down, something about this pit felt alive. It was trying it's best to suck me down to its depths.

"Fight. . .fight the pain Y/n you got to go back. . ." I whispered to myself.

Pull myself up, jump while changing Parádeisos into a bracelet, flap my wings in pain, get as much distance as possible, and stab my spear into the rock making a platform. Doing this all over again.

I could see dots forming in my eyes, I could feel my body wanting to give up. I would bite my tongue to wake me from letting it all go. I thought I was hallucinating there was no way I was almost there. I was reaching my limit, it was all or noting at this point.

I jumped and flapped my wings with so much force I could feel the wind I build up around me fighting against the vacuuming suck power of this pit.

"Come on. ALMOST THERE!!" I thought to myself.

Finally what felt like forever I had gripped the edge with all my might I tried to pull myself up. My mind was shutting down, I knew it was to good to be true. My hand was about to slip off the edge until I felt 3 sets of hands grab me and pull me up and over.

I was on stomach trying to catch my breath, Solid ground (I would never have thought I say this but love the land). I sat up on my knees, but I didn't have enough time to get comfortable. The same 3 sets of hands all wrapped around me. I could see their faces I thought I would never see them again. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were in front of me, they were holding me tightly. Their faces were streaming in tears.

"Y/n" Grover bleated "I thought you were gone forever!"

I wiped the blood off my hands on my very dirty and ripped hoodie. After that I gave my goat friend a simple head pat. "Can't get rid of me that easily" I said. He tightened his hold on me getting snot all over my front. It's fine I did need to take off this ruined sweater anyways.

"Y/n man you scared me half to death. Not cool dude!" Percy said rubbing his eyes

"Yeah. Sorry, but you know me when I see a friend in danger I got to step in" I told him. He couldn't hold it back he grinned

I held my arm in pain after the last member of our group had punched my right side.

"Ow Annabeth—"

"Don't ever do that again!" she shouted at me

She was wiping her constant stream of tears as much as she could.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm just glad Grover is okay."

They let go once my body started to steam up. I turned around hearing a whisper from the pit. It almost sounded angry. Last I checked I don't speak pit language but it a sounded like "You will die by my hand"

"Wh—what's that noise?"

Annabeth heard it too. I could see it in her eyes. "Tartarus. The entrance to Tartarus." Percy uncapped Riptide

The bronze sword expanded, gleaming in the darkness, and the evil voice seemed to falter, jus for a moment, before resuming its chant.

"Magic." Percy whispered

"We have to get out of here" Annabeth said

Together they helped me onto my feet, but as I tried to walk I felt something hindering my movement.

"Hold on everyone" I said

I lifted my pant leg and revealing my camp shin guards. The same ones I used during capture the flag. During my rolling I remember I had kicked some hard stone, good thing I had these on or I would have probably broken my leg.

I took them both off including my hoodie discarding them on the ground. The underworld wouldn't mind more trash right?

Annabeth helped me trudge back up the tunnel while Percy helped Grover. We moved slowly up the more we did the heavier we all felt. Not to mention the voice seemed to get louder and angrier behind us, and we broke into a run. How I managed to run even I don't know, but I as well as everyone else wanted to get out this place as soon as possible.

Not a moment to soon

A cold blast of wind pulled our backs, as if the entire pit were inhaling. For a terrifying moment, Percy lost his footing, but I caught him just before he could slide any further. Falling down the pit was so terrifying I would never wish that upon my enemies.

We kept struggling forward, and finally reached the top of the tunnel, where the cavern widened out in the Fields of Asphodel. I found where my leg had connected against, the entrance of the pit was very narrow and well while trying to stop myself I had hit the entrance. The wind died. A wail of outrage echoed from deep in the tunnel. Something was not happy we'd gotten away.

"What was that?" Grover panted, when we'd collapsed in the relative safety of a black poplar grove. "One of Hades's pets?"

Percy and I looked at Annabeth. I could tell she was nursing an idea, but she was too scared to share it. That was enough to tell me that whatever I fell into would have really ended me.

Percy capped his sword, put the pen back in his pocket. "Let's keep going" He said looking at Grover and I "Can you both walk?"

Grover swallowed. "Yeah, sure. I never liked those shoes, anyway."

He tried to sound brave about it, but he was trembling as badly as the rest of us. Whatever was in that pit was nobody's pet. It was unspeakably old and powerful. Nothing I witness in my current small life compares to it. I was relieved to turn my back on that tunnel and head towards the palace of Hades.

I never want to involve myself again with a pit like that again.

Then I remembered something that was super important "OH NO! I left the LotusCash card in the backpack!" I yelled. They all looked at me like seriously

Annabeth grabbed my arm pulling me along "Come on lucky" I look at the other confused and they just shrug their shoulders following us.

Up close, the gates were engraved with scenes of death. There were some that I didn't know, Annabeth explained: An atomic bomb exploding over a city, a trench filled with gas mask-wearing soldiers, a line of African famine victims waiting with empty bowls—but all of them looked as if they'd been etched into the bronze thousands of years ago. Some of them looked a little to thought out. There was one of a kingdom crumbling down, on both sides were two giant armies. Next to it seems as though the armies had combined together and are fighting a person in a tunic with a spear in his hands.

Looking at it I felt a great feeling of sadness building up from my gut. The others decided to continue reluctantly  I followed.

Inside the courtyard was the strangest garden I'd ever seen. Multicolored mushrooms, poisonous shrubs, and weird luminous plants grew without sunlight. Precious jewels made up for the lack of flowers, piles of rubies as big as my fist, clumps of raw diamonds. Standing here and there like frozen partly guests were Medusa's garden statues—petrified children, satyrs, and centaurs—all smiling grotesquely

In the center of the garden was orchard of pomegranate trees, their orange blooms neon bright in the dark. Almost to good to be actually real it looked so tasty my mouth watered for it.

"Don't get any funny idea Y/n" Annabeth singled me out

I was gobsmacked "I wasn't thinking anything!" I retorted

"You weren't by your stomach was," she said making me pout "The garden of Persephone. . . Keep walking"

I understood her reason to move on quickly the fruit was making me desire it more as we got further. Then I remember the story of Persephone, Annabeth explained back in her teachings that it only took one bite of the Underworld fruit and she could not leave. Percy pulled on Grover from picking a big juicy one.

We walked up the steps of the palace, between black columns, though a black marble portico, and into the house of Hades. The entry hall had a polished bronze floor, which seemed to boil in the reflected torchlight. There was no ceiling, just the cavern roof, far above. I guess never had to worry about rain down here.

Every side doorway was guarded by a skeleton in some type of military gear. Some wore Greek armor. Some had red coats, some camouflage with a tattered American flag on the shoulders. They either carried spears or a long gun and a long gun with a blade at its end. None of them bothered us, but their hollow eye sockets followed us as we walked down the hall, towards the big set of doors at the opposite end.

Two skeleton guards guarded the doors. They grinned grinned down at us, in their hands just above their chest was a huge barrel like weapon(I later found out that was a grenade launcher.)

Percy stumbled a bit with sweat beading down his forehead. He adjusted the shoulder straps of his backpack. He looked strained, was he getting cold feet now. No. No that couldn't be it. He stepped up like the leader of our group he was.

"Well, guys," he said. "I suppose we should . . . knock?"

A hot wind blew down the corridor, and the doors swung open. The guards stepped aside.

" I guess that means entrez-vous," Annabeth said.

(Translation "Come in. . . I think")

The room inside looked just in my dream, except this time the throne of Hades was occupied.

He was at least ten feet tall, for one thing, and dressed in black silk robes and a crown of braided gold. His skin was albino white, his hair shoulder-length and jet black. He wasn't bulked up like Ares, but he radiated power. He lounged on his throne of fused human bones, looking lithe, graceful, and dangerous as a panther.

I immediately felt like he should be giving the order. He knew more than I did. He should be my master. Then I old myself to snap out of it. His aura was affecting me, just as Ares's had. Unlike the others seeing histories most terrible people, I was rooted to the spot seeing, well I don't have a clue what they were spirits, zombies? Or something else. All I knew was they looked very angry. Hades had some very intense eyes, filled with evil charisma.

"You are brave to come here, Son of Poseidon." he said in an oily voice. "After what you have done to me, very brave indeed. Or perhaps you are simply very foolish."

He looked at me with such disgust and hatred. But I had no idea why.

"And you" he said to me with such malice "Disgusting creation of those two goddess if you can call them that. I hear Zeus stripped Nike of their god hood. No. They were retuned after you helped Nike. And here you are defying me again. It seems you never learn do you?" He asked

Whatever magical aura he had bringing me down simply vanished. I got angry he was talking ill of my mothers. "What are you talking about?" I said

"Oh you don't remember, tell me how long have you been imprisoned in his creation? One hundred, maybe five? No there hasn't been a real hero in over one thousand years." he asked

"I don't know what you are talking about, so instead of wasting time why don't you explain?" I asked

He got angry so much I felt weak all of a sudden. He calmed down smirking

"Remarkable and they call me cruel. How could you forget all those lives Mr. Heroes guide?" he said letting out a small chuckle

"Lord and Uncle, please I come with two request." Percy said taking his attention from me

Hades raised an eyebrow. When he sat forward in his throne, shadowy faces appeared in the folds of his black robes, faces of torment, as if the garment were stitched of trapped souls from the Fields of Punishment, trying to get out.

"Only two request?" Hades said. "Arrogant child. As if you have not already taken enough. Speak, then. It amuses me not to strike you dead along with that" He said nodding his head at me

What the heck did I do to this guy to make him so angry?

Percy was silent for a second or two clearly thinking of what to say next? He didn't say much till Annabeth had cleared her throat and poked his back.

"Lord Hades," He said "Look, sir, there can't be a war among the gods, It would be . . .bad."

"Really bad," Grover added helpfully

"Return Zeus's master bolt to me," He said "Please, sir. Let me carry it to Olympus."

Hades's eyes grew dangerously bright. "You dare keep up this pretense, after what you have done?"

The throne room shook with a tremor so strong, they probably felt it upstairs in Los Angeles. Debris fell from the cavern ceiling. I immediately went to protection mode bring down everyone under me, just in case anything decided to smush us. Luckily nothing did. The doors burst open all along the walls, and skeletal warriors marched in. hundreds of them, from every time period and nation in Western civilization. They lined the perimeter of the room, blocking the exits.

Hades bellowed. "Do you think I want war, godling?"

Uh was that a trick question? There are literally skeleton warriors around us.

"You are the Lord of the Dead," Percy said carefully "A war would expand you kingdom, right?"

"A typical thing for my brothers to say! Do you think I need more subjects? Did you not see the sprawl of the Asphodel Fields?"

"Well. . ."

"Have you any idea how much my kingdom has swollen in this past century alone, how many subdivisions I've had to open?"

Percy opened his mouth to respond, but Hades was on a roll now.

I was getting impatient Hades knew something about me. I wanted to know what he was talking about. What did he mean how long I was imprisoned

"More security ghouls," he moaned. "Traffic problems at the judgement pavilion. Double overtime for the staff. I used to be rich god, Percy Jackson. I control all the precious metals under the earth. But my expenses! I once learned that I cannot win against my brothers on my own" He said staring deep into my soul.

"Charon wants a pay raise," Percy blurted, just remembering the fact. As soon as he said it, I think he'd do anything to take it back

"Don't get me started on Charon!" Hades yelled. "He's been impossible ever since he discovered Italian suits! Problems everywhere, and I've got to handle all of them personally. The commute time alone from the palace to the gates is enough to drivee me insane! And the dead just keep arriving. NO, godling. I need no help getting subjects! I did not ask for this war?"

"But you took Zeus's master bolt."

"Lies!" More rumbling. Hades rose from his throne, towering to the height of a football goalpost. "Your father may fool Zeus, boy, but I am not so stupid. I see his plan."

"His plan?"

"You were the thief on the winter solstice," he said. "Your father thought to keep you his little secret. He directed you into the throne room on Olympus. You took the master bolt and my helm. Had I not sent my Fury to discover you at Yancy Academy, Poseidon might have succeeded in hiding his scheme to start a war. But now you have been forced into the open. You will be exposed as Poseidon's thief, and I will have my helm back!"

"But . . ." Annabeth spoke, I could tell her mind was going a million miles an hour. "Lord Hades, your helm of darkness is missing, too?"

"Do not play innocent with me girl. That undead thing yourself and the satyr have been helping this hero—coming here to threaten me in Poseidon's name, no doubt—to bring me an ultimatum. Does Poseidon think I can be blackmailed into supporting him?"

"NO!" Percy said "Poseidon didn't—I didn't—"

"I have said nothing of the helm's disappearance," Hades snarled, "Because I had no illusions that anyone on Olympus would offer me the slightest justice, the slightest help. I can ill afford for word to get out that my most powerful weapon of fear is missing. So I searched for you myself, and when it was clear you were coming to me deliver your threat, I did not try to stop you."

"You didn't try to stop us? But—"

"Return my helm now or I will stop death," Hades threatened. "That is my counterproposal. I will open the earth and have the dead pour back into the world. I will make your lands a nightmare. And him, I will have that thing you travel with Percy Jackson—It's skeleton will finally lead my army out of Hades."

The skeletal soldiers all took one step forward, making their weapons ready. I was done holding back I summoned my spear and the bright gold light made the skeletons back away.

"What is with you hating me? What did I ever do to you? And I have a name 'It's' is not cutting it, my name is Y/n" I said

"You truly don't remember; your first life, your revival, and your little adventures with some of the greatest heroes. Then there's your wish my brother gave you for helping his son Perseus."

"What nonsense are you spewing?" I asked

"See even your vocabulary still of old days. Think very hard Godling do you remember your wish to my brother?"

I thought hard nothing making sense. Then all those random experiences I had during the quest. Every image I saw of myself beside someone. Those people sometimes made my heart stop and my breath hitched. And as if Zeus had struck me with his thunder my entire body felt cold, numb, and fueled in pain.

Every image in my head came together like a puzzle connecting perfectly. I—I finally remembered all those Quests from the past. The reason I called Percy Jackson, Perseus was not because of his full name, it was because the quest reminded me of the original Perseus the son of Zeus. Phaethon, Atalanta, Bellerophon, Achilles and Patroclus, Odysseus and his men, Finally my last was Heracles. . . (Though deep down Heracles was not really a friend or. . .dead)

Everything I ever went through. . . all the wars I fought in. Yet, there was one massive whole in my memory, the very beginning was blurred except for a man who sat upon a throne.

"How. . .how could I forget them. My friends. . . " I said.  My lip quivered

"How can Y/n be apart of the past, surely the heroes would write about him, but there's nothing written about him" Annabeth asked

Hades grinned "Well I had apart in that of course, I cursed him." he said

I looked at him wide-eyed.

"What do you mean cursed me?"

"For many years after that day I had put a curse on you."  He said

That anyone you loved would meet a terrible fate. That when all was done in that hero's quest, you would be forgotten by everyone in the mortal world. While you were not needed your body and soul would be chained down in a prison. A prison that would haunt you with your mistakes until a new promising hero would come along.

"I did add a new curse on you the last time you were around. But I doubt you'll make it to see it, you'll vanish back to your prison at the end of this child's quest. As if you didn't exist, these friends of yours will forget you completely. As everyone did back then."

I looked at my hands holding my spear. I couldn't believe it. I—I was the reason they all had terrible fates. I made them go through the worst. I always thought since being a child of the goddesses of luck and victory I'd the best to help them, but all I was. . .was a bad luck charm the albatross. It was my fault.

No. It was his.

I took a step forward, I hadn't realized my body was steaming so much. One thing I did know was my wounds I had were practically gone. The dark stone underneath my feet was like melting clay. The others had taken a step back feeling the immense heat radiating from my body.

The next words that escaped my lips came from deep within with such malice, I thought I would lose myself in the hatred like Achilles did.

"HADES I WILL MAKE YOU PAY"

I looked up at the Lord of the dead my birthmark burning red as was my boiling blood. I sprouted my wings and charged him spear pointing directly at his chest. The next thing I knew I was on the ground, held down by skeletons. Hades had summoned them just as I charged him, but fueled by anger I destroyed my captures.

"Persistent are we" he said unamused

I flew at him once more, but this time he waved his hand and blasted me

***

"Y/n stop!" Percy said

It was too late he had charged again, but as he did he fell to the ground. His eyes were wide in panic and he was breathing hard.

"What did you do?!" Annabeth yelled

"Oh don't worry about your little friend, he's only reliving his failures." Hades said

Percy wanted to ask what he was talking about, but he hesitated now was not a good time. His uncle The lord of the Dead was clearly at his limit.

"Please I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't know" Y/n said sounding afraid. Whatever Hades had hit him with was turning Y/n as pale as a ghost.

Annabeth was calling out to him, but he wouldn't respond to her. He kept screaming apology after apology.

The skeletal soldiers all took another step forward

At that point, Percy should have been terrified. The strange thing was, he felt offended. Nothing gets the boy angrier than being accused of something he didn't do. Or people hurting his friends. He's had a lot of experience with that.

"You're as bad as Zeus." Percy said "You think I stole from you? That's why you sent the Furies after me?"

"Of course"

"And the other monsters?"

Hades curled his lip "I had nothing to do with them. I wanted no quick death for you—I wanted you brought before me alive so you might face every torture in the Fields of Punishment. Why do you think I let you enter my kingdom so easily?"

"Easily" Percy thought

"Return my property!"

"But I don't have your helm. I came for the master bolt."

"Which you already possess!" Hades shouted. "You came here with it, little fool, thinking you could you threaten me!"

"But I didn't"

"Open your pack, then"

A horrible feeling had struck the boy. The weight in his backpack, like a bowling ball. It couldn't be . . . .

He slung it off his shoulder and unzipped it. Inside was a two-foot-long metal cylinder, spiked on both ends, humming with energy.

"Percy," Annabeth said "How—"

"I—I don't know. I don't understand"

"You heroes are always the same," Hades said. "Your pride makes you foolish, thinking you could bring such a weapon before me. I did not ask for Zeus's master bolt, but since it is here, you will yield it over to me. I am sure will make an excellent bargaining tool. And now . . . my helm. Where is it?"

Percy, Grover, and Annabeth's blood ran cold. They turn to their friend Y/n who was crawling away from something abruptly stop and say something so sad it was heart-wrenching.

"Achilles I loved you so very much you were like family. , I'm so sorry it was my fault Patroclus died. No no I—it wasn't because I was jealous of Patroclus. Please you have to believe me. I didn't—please stop. . .I'm sorry I'm sorry." Tears streamed down his face then silence

They were speechless. Percy had no helm. He had no idea how the master bolt had gotten into his backpack. He wanted to think Hades was pulling some kind of trick. Hades was showing lots of bad guy vides. But the world turned sideways. Percy had realized  he'd been played with. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades had been set at each other's throat by someone else. The master bolt had been in his backpack, and he'd gotten the backpack from. . .

"Lord Hades, wait" Percy said. "This is all a mistake."

"A mistake?" Hades roared

The skeletons aimed their weapons. From high above, there was a fluttering of leathery wings, and three furies swooped down to perch on the back of their master's throne. The one with Mrs. Dodd's face grinned at Percy eagerly and flicked her whip.

"There is no mistake," Hades said. "I know why you have come—I know the real reason you brought the bolt. You came to bargain for her."

Hades loosed a ball of gold fire from his palm. It exploded on the steps in front of the boy, and there was his mother, frozen in a shower of gold, just as she was at the moment when the Minotaur began to squeeze her to death.

Percy couldn't speak. He reached out to touch her, but the light was as hot as a bonfire. If anyone could get her out it was probably Y/n. He had the affinity to handle strong heat, but he was caught in a spell or sorts. Something about that spell was slowly . . .killing him.

He was no longer the kid Percy met back then. He would always smile even when things were tough, but now he was looking up at the ceiling lost and and his skin was loosing it's color. Tears were pouring down his face and no more words escaped his lips.

"Yes," Hades said with satisfaction. "I took her. I knew, Percy Jackson, that you would come to bargain with me eventually. Return my helm, and perhaps I will let her go. She is not dead, you know. Not yet. But if you displease me, that will change."

Percy thought about the pearls in his pocket. Maybe they could get him out of this. If he could just get his mother free . . .Then there was Y/n he was on the ground far from them.

"Ah, the pearls," Hades said, and Percy's blood froze once more "Yes, my brother and his little tricks. Bring them forth, Percy Jackson."

Percy's hand moved against his will and brought out the pearls.

"Only four," Hades said. "What a shame. You do realize each only protects a single person. Try to take your mother, then, little godling. And which of your friends will you leave being, well it's not really a choice with that already reaching his end"

Percy looked at Annabeth and Grover. Their faces were grim. How could he choose.

"We were tricked," Percy told them, "Set up"

"Yes, but why?" Annabeth asked not looking at Percy. Her eyes lay on Y/n he was shivering. "And the voice in the pit—"

"I don't know yet," he said "But I intend to ask"

"Decide, boy!" Hades yelled

"Percy." Grover put his hand on Percy shoulder. "You can't give him the bolt,"

"I know that"

"Leave me here," he said "Use the fourth pearl on your mom, I'll try and buy time and grab Y/n take him"

"No!"

"I'm a satyr," Grover said. "We don't have souls like humans do. He can torture me until I die, but he won't get me forever. I'll just be reincarnated as a flower or something. It's the best way."

"No." Annabeth drew her bronze knife. "You two go on, Grover you have to protect Percy. You have to get your searcher's license and start your quest for Pan. Get his mom and I'll get Y/n. I plan to go fighting."

"No way," Grover said "I'm staying behind."

"Think again, goat boy," Annabeth said

"Stop it, both of you" Percy said

His heart was being ripped apart in two. He couldn't decide, he's gone through so much with everyone. Remembering Grover dive bombing Medusa and Y/n giving up his necklace to give him more luck. Annabeth saving them from Cerberus. The little teases he gave both Annabeth and Y/n after hearing they had been on TV for the gods. Being able to escape the Lotus Casino, jumping down the Arch. He had been so busy being worried about being betrayed by a friend, but these friends would never do that. They, especially Y/n had done nothing but save him. Over and over and now both Annabeth and Grover wanted to sacrifice their lives for his mom and Y/n.

"I—I" Percy couldn't decide

Then like a gust of wind the palace doors burst open, a blue spirit had appeared beside their friend who was laying on the ground. The spirit was wearing old armor, the guy had long blond well built and almost irresistible. He whispered something close to Y/n ear and the magic that immobilized him was gone.

And Y/n stood up

***

Hades had hit me with something and it was terrible

When I hit the ground I tried to stand up, but the world spun around. Then I saw it. The dead was rising. A hand grabbed at my feet knocking me over. I was stunned when I saw Atalanta before she was turned to a lion and killed. Then it was Phaethon still holding that face of his fall from the sky. Following behind him was Bellerophon holding a similar face to that of Phaethon.

They looked decayed no eyes mouths wide moaning in pain clawing at me

"Please I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't know" I yelled at them trying my best to back away

Finally they appeared in front of me. The person I connected to the most back then. . . Achilles even in this decayed form of his. I could easily recognize his face.

"YOU DID THIS!" he yelled "You killed my beloved Patroclus"

Deep down I believed it was my fault

"Achilles I loved you so very much you were family to me. I'm so sorry it was my fault Patroclus died."

"So you admit it, you did it out of pure jealousy" his hollow face scowled at me

"No no I—it wasn't because I was jealous of Patroclus. Please you have to believe me."

Even without eyes I could tell he was angry. Back then when we messed around in training he would have a habit of biting his cheek. When he get his way in a fight. Right now this zombie form of his was doing the same.

He grabbed my face holding me down in place. From behind him came another figure with a open wound on his body. I knew who it was, his once caramel skin was now as pale as the other zombies it was Patroclus. He held two swords, Achilles took one and pointed it at my throat. Patroclus held his at my chest. Another blade formed in between my eyes.

This time it was the king of Ithaca Odysseus, he held a blood covered blade. The same blade that took his life. His son's blade the same one that ran him through

"I didn't—wait—please stop. . .I'm sorry I'm sorry." I pleaded

At the same time they all brought their blades down on me.

I wanted to scream, but how. . . I was dying. I ruined their lives. They were right. . .I deserver this. For the first time I felt cold. My tears were dried out. I couldn't see anymore, because where my eyes once were are now nothing but bleeding sockets.

I could hear arguing in the empty void

.

.

.

Then I heard his voice, I couldn't make out what he said, but a rush of warmth came over me and the empty void changed to a green hill over looking a kingdom. I was sitting down taking in the suns rays, and beside me by a tree was Achilles. The real Achilles the happy go lucky charmer from back then.

"Flaps protect your friends" The nickname he and many others used during the Trojan War.

He smiled at me giving me a thumbs up

Seeing him again was   I stood up invigorated the world came back to Hades's throne room

"Y/n!" Annabeth said

I turned around to her and the blue spirit ghost? Whatever he was now it was still Achilles, he two finger saluted like back then before vanishing. He didn't say much my guess because he wasn't supposed to be here in the castle. Either way it was. . .good to see him again.

I turned to the others

"I'm good, no need to worry" I said. I lied I felt tired but my adrenaline was high after experiencing what Hades did to me.

I sprouted my wings and vanished only leaving behind a few feathers. The others looked in horror as the ten feet tall Hades toppled over from his throne. Upon falling Hades on instinct  pulled his arm close and the golden orb of I believe was Percy's mother moved with it. Hades eyes were glowing  with fury.

"That's for trying to manipulate my thoughts" I said

"Y/n come on!" Percy yelled

I landed beside Percy as he gave me a pearl

"I'm sorry," he said to the now far away mother "I'll be back. I'll find a way"

"GODLINGS!" Hades yelled

"I'll find your helm, Uncle," Percy said "I'll return it. Remember about Charon's pay raise."

"Do not defy me!"

"And it wouldn't hurt to play with Cerberus once in a while. He likes red rubber balls."

"Percy Jackson, you will not—"

"Now guys!" Percy shouted

"Gamíste sas" I cursed at Hades

We smashed the pearls at our feet. For a scary moment, nothing happened.

Hades yelled "Destroy them!"

Just as the skeleton opened fire, the pearls fragment at our feet exploded with a burst of green light and a gust of fresh sea wind. We were encased in a milky white sphere, which was starting to float off the ground.

Spears and bullets sparked harmlessly off the pearl bubbles as we floated up. Hades yelled with such rage, the entire fortress shook and I knew it was not going to be peaceful night in L.A.

"Look up." Grover yelled. "We're going to crash!"

Sure enough we were racing right towards the stalactites, which I figured would pop our bubbles and skewer us.

"How do you control these things?" Annabeth shouted

"I don't think you do!" Percy shouted back

"Percy Jackson I did not just insult a God just for me to be skewered like chicken. If we die I am so going to—"

I was cut off when the bubbles slammed into the celling and then . . . darkness

Hades stood up angry

"You will fall for your enemy, but once you find out who they are. You will discard those feeling and aim to kill them. But every time you try you will hesitate. Y/n you will suffer for defying me." Hades said rubbing his cheek

He had reveled the final curse to the teen's life.

Will he ever find out or will he go on not knowing.

First off the picture at the top is not mine I don't own it. It's from the game called Hades and I just love the design to my favorite hero.

YES! Achilles is one of my favorite Greek heroes, but in the PJO series he never really gets a fully fleshed out story besides telling Percy the one warning about having his curse.

So I based him on another book called The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Which I really do recommend. I rate it a solid 8/10, it was a solid read trust me.

Now on with Y/n! Wow Y/n is actually someone from the past and I mean way back then. The reason that he had so many odd memories was because he was there with those other heroes. Yet, there is still a chunk missing? Was what is and why didn't pop up like the rest

He was cursed since he helped the OG Perseus, Hades likes to hold grudges. Others may not see him as the bad guy, but Y/n definitely does.

And to reveal the final curse he put on the teen. wow how is this going to play out? Don't you wonder what Y/n did to have the Lord of The Dead have such a grudge on the Teen(Can we still call him a Teen?)

Will I have an idea that some might like, well I hope you do. I'll talk about it later probably at the end of this book.
