[SPOILERS OF ACTUAL GAME]

After a long journey through Liurnia and Caria Manor, I meet up with Renna, or Ranni is what her real name is. I've known her for a few years now and the name change was kind of subtle. But of course, we still kept in touch through all the havoc that has been happening in the lands. She offered me a job with someone named Blaidd, He was described as a Half wolf which confused me, I've seen a lot of crazy-looking animals and beasts but. They weren't too kind to me being in their presence. It's also how I knew how to fight and use magic, it wasn't too hard but I hope he isn't the same as the others. A while later after pledging myself to Ranni, she first asks me to talk with her three servants. Which includes Blaidd, Iji, and Seluvis. I'm not much of a people person or any social type of person. When I came here I was mostly here for a way of payment to keep me afloat or a small job that I can do on my own.

I walk down Ranni's rise, lost in thought. Im contemplating whether or not this was a good idea. I'm sure if I just do what I'm told I can leave without a scratch or any more people hunting for my head. It's already hard as is trying to get by from stealing or being a guard for some people in a small village. Right as I was about to head towards the grace I see a large ghostly figure sitting down with a Stone hammer. He's wearing a helmet that has mirrors wrapped around the headgear. He looks distracted as he's reading a book that is also huge in comparison to me. His hair is long, his body weak and old, and very tall. The hammer that's right beside him is huge, it can probably crush me just by landing on me.
I quietly and carefully try to sneak passed him, I shouldn't lower my guard since this giant looks like it can kill me just by looking at me. In the end, it notices me.
"You do know I can see you, right young one?" the giant says. Screaming in my thoughts I slowly turn around and place a hand on my Uchigatana. "There is no need to be frightened, I know who you are." his deep voice filled the room. I let go of my weapon and try to save a mess of a first encounter with this giant. "Oh Hello, " I say nervously "Um who might you be exactly?" He seems amused at my embarrassment. "My name is Iji, I am Ranni's war counselor, though you should be familiar with that name correct?" He waits patiently. "YOU ARE IJI!?" I say loudly before I cringe to myself for being so surprised. He chuckles at my amazement
"Lady Ranni had told me someone was going with Blaidd to Nokron, you must be the one, am I right?". I nod in agreement. "Well you should be able to meet Blaidd right down those stairs" He points behind me. "I pray that your service goes well" I start heading toward the doorway. Right as I'm about to head down the stairs he says one last thing. "You know, I think you and Blaidd might get along with each other" Iji adds as he winks. I turn around to look at him "I hope so as well, also" I bow towards him trying to at least give him some respect. "I'm glad to have met you, War Counselor Iji". He nods.
Once I'm in the middle of the stairs out of sight I can't help but get mad at myself for being so rude. Should I go back and apologize? What if he thinks I'm just some rude idiot working for Ranni? I take a step back and just sit on the stairs trying to ease my mind. I need to get my mind straight. After a few minutes of getting myself ready for the next person, I get up and head downstairs, this time making sure I don't just get ready for another fight.
Once I reach the bottom of the stairs I see another white figure, this time I got used to seeing a tall weird ghost. But this one was different, they were tall but not like Iji. He looks to be around 8 feet tall maybe taller. At least I won't have to crane my head up all the way just to talk to him. He seems to be looking at some shelves on the wall filled with books. I wonder if he's a reader.
"Um Hello," I break the silence while waving at him. He doesn't respond. I walk up to him and reach up to tap him on the arm. "Hello?" He finally notices me and is confused till he looks down. "You must be Blaidd right?" He raises an eyebrow "And you must be the person Ranni was talking about, Y/N correct?" I nod with a smile. "Well, I'm glad to have you on my side for the journey to Nokron." There's a small silence that fills the room. I wonder why Iji and Blaidd are ghosts. Are they dead? Also, why is this guy a wolf? I'm lost in thought on why Ranni has ghosts as servants. "ahem" I look up and forgot I was staring at Blaidd for a good 10 seconds. "You seem confused Y/N" I respond confused. "Why are you and Iji ghosts?" The wolf chuckles seeming to understand my confusion. "I am not a ghost, I'm currently in Limgrave where I'm going to try and go below this land in Nokron"
I mentally smack my forehead embarrassed again. I can feel the heat on my face getting hotter. "Oh uh, sorry I was just confused is all," Blaidd smirks at the response. "No need to apologize, even I would've asked why there's a ghost in front of me" He looks out the window as if looking for something. "Ranni has told me a lot about you".
I smirk "It seems like I've been talked about to all of you haven't I". I cross my arms. "Considering you have a reputation for being great in combat I wouldn't be surprised."
I smile. "Well I do try my best, It was nice meeting you Blaidd." I start walking towards the doorway downstairs and look back. "It was nice to have met you too Y/N," The wolf says before disappearing
As soon as he disappears I let out a breath of relief. I didn't think talking to people other than Ranni would stress me out. I need to work on that. I keep heading downstairs until I meet Seluvis. To be honest, he's kind of a dick. Not saying that he's mean but the way he spoke down about me didn't help my current situation. "Don't drag us all down with you" I mimic his voice, annoyed. I hope I don't work with him anytime soon.
Out of the three that I've met so far, I think I like Blaidd the most. Of course not at a friend level since we just met but more of a "I look forward to working with you". I just need to get paid and this will all be over.
As I walk up these god-awful stairs I think back to Blaidd. He seems nice but as they say, "Never judge a book by its cover". He could be like Seluvis for all I know. But, then again he seemed happy to work with me... a large Half wolf man that's tall with really heavy armor working with me...
Yea that seems normal
I get back to Ranni's room to discuss my payment and what she wants to be done. She mentions that she would be going to rest for a bit since she has a doll for a body. She gave me instructions to retrieve two Halves of a Dectus medallion. Of course, Blaidd knows where they are and will be accompanying me to the different locations. This also means we'll be traveling for days...
I hate traveling, even just getting here for the job already had me angry at the different monsters I had to fight while also riding and walking for days. "Thee seemeth a did bite disappoint'd?" She says looking at my discouraged state. "I wonneth't beest going into mine own slumb'r just yet, we can chat just a did bite bef're thee wend" I look at her, trying to compose myself. " Well, How am I supposed to get there before I die of old age?". I ask sarcastically
She giggles at my comment. "Blaidd knoweth how to traveleth apace that gent shouldst beest backeth in a few hours from his scouting mission" She adds. "Im sure the three-day traveleth shall beest excit'ment with that gent" She keeps giggling. Ranni likes to poke fun at me for working with someone that might be the one to court me. "Im just doing this for the money Ranni, nothing else," I say annoyed.
There have been times when I have gotten close to some men and women before but most didn't even get to the together stage. Even then they would show their true selves and... well yea.
She looks at me worried. "Who is't knoweth that gent might beest the one" She smiles at me hoping that I would give it a second thought."You think he'll even like me" I say looking down at my outerwear. Ranni looks at me confused. "Well, as far as I knoweth that gent doesn't very much has't a pref'rnce so who is't knoweth" She waits for a response
"I think id rather stick with being on my own, this is a job, and job only." She frowns but composes herself. "Well, seeth what happeneth but prithee stayeth safe" I look up "I know I know," I say before heading out and going down the tower to set up camp and rest before Blaidd gets here.
It's been 2 hours since I woke up from my sleep. Blaidd should be here any second now. I look around and try to see where he might come from.
I feel a soft thud from behind, as a shadow covers my figure and the grass in front of me. I turn around to see the giant wolf look down at me only a few inches away from me.
