Abhi's Pov
I woke up late today due to yesterday's night out at the club it was tiring man. I danced a lot with vaishnavi and I am sure she must tired too. How beautiful she was looking in my arms.
She was looking gorgeous yesterday. She do always no doubt.
I got freshed up and dressed myself in casuals. And went towards her room. She was not their maybe already up. I went downs stairs and I was confused due to unusual hustle bustle in n the house. I think some clients are coming today.
All were seated on the dinning table awfully quiet today what happened to everyone?
I sat beside Vaishnavi she was looking down she never did looked at me for even one time. And continued to play with her food. Fainnat and Jaireem were silently having their breakfast. Sidneet were whispering something with frown on their foreheads.
What is happening? Before I could ask anybody about it. Mumma Papa came down stairs and got seated to their seats at the dinning.
Shiv - Kids I know you are tensed but calm down, nothing will happen.
Anika- Abhi, only you don't know but please listen carefully before reacting okay?
I just nodded my head being confused. But I don't know why I am having bad vibes about this.
Shiv - You remember, Mr. Mishra?
Abhi - yeah I know him.
Anika - You know his elder son Aarav?
I nodded, his elder son has always being example of perfect son and brother. He is talented with good looks.
Anika - They are coming here today. And we Decided to accept the proposal they sent for our Vaishnavi.
Abhi - Which proposal? And what it is to do with her?
Shiv - marriage proposal, Mr mishra said Aarav likes Vaishnavi form so many years now. So they sent us proposal to accept.
I dropped the spoon I had in my hand and just stared at vaishnavi. No this is just a dream open your eyes Abhishek.
Anika - Don't worry Aarav is a nice guy. He will take care of our vaishnavi so well. I know him since he was a kid.
Abhi - How can you accept the proposal? Is it her age to get married?
Shiv - Only Angagement will take place and when vaish will be ready then only we will agree for marriage.
I got numb and didn't knew what to do. I can't let this happen. I can't loose her. I love her and she only belong with me.
Abhi - How can you guys decide everything on your own? Have you asked her if she is ready.
Anika - Abhi we can't force her into anything we are just securing her future. And she agreed to meet him once so what's a big deal in that.
I got up from the table and banged my hands on it.
Abhi - She won't do the Angagement.
Vaish - why won't I?
She asked me looking directly in my eyes. She wants to marry him too? No I can't let her. She spoke for the first time and looked at me for the first time today. I will let her marry if she is ready. I am no one to stop her. But without letting her know what I feel is not right I will tell her.
Abhi - Can you not understand, you have your career ahead. Why would you involve yourself in a family drama?
Shiv - She will be allowed to follow her passion and her career won't be affected by the marriage. Vaish this is my promise to you.
Why dad, why are you making it difficult for me.
Abhi - I don't know all these she can't agree, she will not. No vaish you can't agree to this stupid proposal. What about me? Have you ever thought about at least sharing your views about this to me?
Vaish - why can't I abhi?
Abhi - Because I love you dammit.
I realised what I said but I was more sad and hurt. I was confused and so upset. I lost my appetite and went to my room shutting the door with a loud thud. I went on my bed and hide my head in the pillow in the frustration. What a bad day.
End of the Pov
At the dinning room.
All were silent due to his sudden out burst.
Vaish - I will look for him.
Vaishnavi said after a long awkward silence.
She was happy would be an understatement. She was so elighted that he loves her.
She directly went to his room and knocked the door. But no response came from inside.
Vaish - Abhi this is me! Please let me in.
Abhishek didn't replied but opened the door and stood near the bed facing away from her.
She went to him and turned him around hugging the life out of him.
He was confused was it about her consoling him or something else.
Vaish brought her lips towards his ears and whispered.
Vaish - I love you too Mr. Abhishek Nigam.
Abhishek pulled away from hug earlier he was hiding his face in her shoulder now moved away just to see her face.
He couldn't believe it. Was it a dream, it's definitely a dream he thought.
Vaish - no it's not a dream.
Vaishnavi confirmed she was there so was her confession. Without wasting a minute he hugged her again and was grinning like an idiot but soon frown and pulled away from her. She frown missing the warmth of his body.
Abhi - But about the proposal?
Vaish - It was our plan. I mean Mom and Dad's plan. Yesterday when we were back from the club I went to them and they suddenly out of nowhere asked me about having feelings for you and I didn't denied and told them everything. You know I was afraid of their reaction. But they laughed at me and we made a plan, to know about your feelings. I was so nervous that I couldn't even look at you. I felt like I was cheating on you even though we were not together.
They both sat on the bed while she explained everything.
Abhi sighed in relief that it was just a stupid prank.
Abhi - I panicked when they said you agreed and I swear it hurts like a bitch.
Vaishnavi laughed and pulled his cheeks. He brought his face close to her and kissed her nose.
Abhi - I was afraid to loose. Promise I will never let you go.
Vaish - pinky promise?
Abhi - Pinky promise.
They were lost in each other again. Their favourite task to do. Soon their lips met, fitting perfectly like a puzzle. Like a other incomplete half was now complete. The kiss was slow yet passionate. Both of them sharing their first with each other. They both felt the bliss but parted away due to sudden knock on the door.
Maid came and brought them their breakfast which their parents sent for them.
They had their breakfast as their first unofficial date.
After the break fast when they climbed downstairs everyone were teasing both of them. Abhi thanked Shivika and they in return just laughed at his reactions.
In the evening Abhishek took her out on a date. Where on a Gaint wheel he asked her to be his girlfriend to which she agreed. While loosing her second kiss too. They both were contented .
That day was not a bad day but the most beautiful and memorable one.
