This story was a rewrite of another Jeff the Killer fanfic I was a big fan of when I was younger. It featured significant alterations to the plot, the introduction of new characters, and, naturally, the adaptation of the reader's pronouns to be gender-neutral.
About a week ago (for those who are reading in the future, August of 2024) I decided to reread the original story, and... yeah, the 2015 Jeff the Killer x Reader fic was precisely what you'd think it was: messy.
Of course, I still love it and I hold great admiration for its author, AmyHip (it was a feat to capture my attention when I was 14, trust me).
I reached out to them for permission to rewrite this story on DeviantArt, but it appears they are not active there anymore.
Anyway, if they ask me to remove this story - I will, immediately.

BONUS [A/N] - 2 VI 2024
This story has come a long way from when I initially published it in August 2023... damn, almost a year ago. Time truly flies.
Those who know me are well aware that this is the best thing I've ever written - and so, I decided to remaster it so that it holds to my current standards. To all of you who've read this prior to today - you're in for a ride. I added some editorial changes, but also, major changes to the plot... well, since it's June, I can even say: Happy Pride 🌈
