After several attempts, just about everything I found wasn't strong enough to break the window or the doorknob. I sighed out in frustration as I looked out the window. What a day this has been.
I then saw a figure walking towards the car that Leo had me get in. As I watched them, I noticed that it was Monica.
"Why that little bitch!" I yelled out before banging on the window.
Just as she was about to get in the car, she looked up at the window in confusion before looking at me in shock.
"When I get out of here, I'm gonna fucking kill you! You hear me? You're dead!" I yelled out before hitting the window again as tears streamed down my face. I watched as she looked away before getting into the car, driving off.
What did I ever do to her for her to side with Faith? Out of all people, her? My best friend?
Falling back onto the bed, I rubbed my stomach before closing my eyes. My mind went back to Cole, which only made me more emotional. I missed how he'd play with my hair or kiss my stomach while I fell asleep.
I stared out the window before I found myself drifting off to sleep.
Some hours later...
"Wake up!" Someone shouted before I felt a cold liquid thrown on my upper body.
I quickly got up, "What the fuck?!" I yelled out as I stood there soaked, looking to see that it was Faith.
"How did you do it?" She asked me in anger.
"What did I do?" I snapped back before taking off my shirt, squeezing it. I'm going to kill her.
She then grabbed onto my arm, "Don't play dumb! Cole wouldn't answer any of my calls, and now he's here. How did you contact him?!" She asked.
I was quick to yank my arm away from her and push her away. Before she could say anything I grabbed the lamp off the dresser and smashed it on her head. She looked at me in shock as she fell to the ground with a loud thump.
"Grow the hell up and leave us alone" Was all I said before walking to the door that was now open.
I peaked to see if my brother or anyone was around, sighing in relief when I saw no one. As I walked around I saw a few bodies on the ground and heard voices. Damn...
Did I really sleep through all of this?
I quietly walked downstairs and still didn't see anyone, but the voices were more clearer. I couldn't help but wonder if those men were dead I saw earlier...
"You sure do move quickly... I thought it'd at least take you another day or two before you found us" My brother spoke out before laughing.
"Why are you doing this Leo? Don't you care about your sister's feelings?" I felt as my heart began to race while hearing his voice, he really was here. I covered my mouth as I silently cried, he was here for us.
I then walked a little closer before peaking around the corner. Seeing my brother on the ground while Cole stood in front of him with a gun in his hand. Was he going to kill him?
Leo then laughed before shaking his head, "I'm the one who's on the ground... shouldn't I be asking that?"
I then noticed that Leo's other hand was slowly making its way towards the gun behind him. He was just trying to distract him. Just as I opened my mouth to warm Cole a hand quickly covered it. The sound of a gunshot caused me to jump up in fright.
"It's me... you're alright" I could tell that the voice behind me belonged to Lukas.
After a few moments Lukas removed his hand from my mouth, "I didn't want you to distract Cole and make him turn away from your brother" Lukas explained.
Did Cole get shot? Was he alright?
I quickly walked inside the room, scared that I'd see Cole bleeding out on the ground. However, he was still standing. He looked perfectly fine.
It was Leo that was shot.
Cole shot him right in the head. I looked at Leo's lifeless body as he laid there with a gun in one hand. Was it wrong that I didn't feel bad for him? My own brother?
I surprised even myself... I wasn't crying. I felt more relieved than upset that he was gone.
Cole then placed the gun in his waistband before turning around, him now looking at me in shock.
"O-Orabella I... I had no other choice-" He began before I rushed over to him, sealing our lips. He stood their frozen for a bit before placing his hands on my waist, kissing me back.
I felt him smile before soon pulling away, wiping the tears from my eyes, "I'm sorry" He muttered out.
I shook my head before placing a hand on the side of his face, "I'm not mad at you Cole... I'm just glad that you're alright" I reassured him before pecking his lips.
"I should be saying the same thing" He spoke out before taking in my appearance.
"I don't see any wounds... but where is your shirt?" He then asked before taking off his jacket, helping me put it on. After zipping it up, he looked at me with approval.
"It's a long story" I told him.
He then sighed out in relief before placing a hand on my stomach, "The baby?" He asked.
"The baby is fine" I told him while smiling as he pulled me closer.
My brother was dead...
"Shouldn't I be crying? Is it wrong that I feel relieved now that he's dead?" I asked him before leaning my head on his chest.
"Even though he was your brother, you didn't know him for that long... and everyone handles death differently" He replied, rubbing small circles on my back.
Before I could say anything someone had cleared their throat behind us, "I hate to interrupt you two, but we should really get going" Lukas spoke out while leaning on the doorframe.
After pulling away from Cole, I went over to Lukas before pulling him into a tight embrace. Whether he likes it or not, both him and Delilah are like best friends to me.
"Thank you for everything" I told him as he hugged me back. From the look on his face I could tell that he knew about Monica... and I couldn't help but feel bad for him.
I then pulled away and watched as he took a deep breath before bringing his hands together, "Everything is now taken care of. They got both Monica and Faith in one of the vehicles... I'll get someone to take care of this" He explained while looking in the direction where Leo's body was.
Cole nodded his head before guiding me to what looked to be the front door, Lukas behind us. As we made it outside I saw a few men standing by, nodding their heads as we walked by, a few of them walking inside.
Lukas got in the passenger seat of the car that had Monica and Faith inside, "We're heading back to the building" He spoke out before the guard drove out of the driveway.
"Have you eaten?" Cole then asked as we made it inside of his car.
"Yeah... it wasn't much though" I told him, thinking back to that sandwich Leo brought me. I then felt as my stomach growled, Cole now laughing loudly.
He then started the car, "Don't worry amore mio... I'll make sure both of my babies eat well" He spoke out before smirking at me. He was teasing me.
"Oh shut up! It wasn't even that funny" I muttered out before turning towards the window.
Men.

"You're alive!" Axarii exclaimed before pulling me into the house, hugging me tightly.
I hugged her back while Cole closed the door behind us, "Of course she's alive mom"
She then pulled away from me before checking me for any injuries, "You're not hurt are you? Did they try any funny business-" She began.
I couldn't help but laugh at how serious she looked, "I'm fine Axarii, I promise" I reassured her before Xavier stood beside her.
He looked at me before doing something I did not expect. He hugged me.
"We were all worried about you... I'm glad that you're alright dear" He spoke out sincerely.
I don't know if it has to do with me being pregnant, but I felt as my eyes began to water from his words. I hugged him back while he patted my back.
The four of us then walked into the dinner room where everyone else was. I couldn't help but smile as Anna May was the first one to notice us.
"Bella!" She examined before running towards me as she cried. I gently picked her up, her now hugging my neck tightly.
"Hey baby" I spoke out as she hold onto the jack that I was wearing.
"You're okay?" She asked with a sad expression.
I felt as my heart began to break just from looking at her, "Yes I'm okay sweetie! Please don't cry" I assured her while wiping her tears away.
After nodding her head she then reached out to Cole who picked her up, her resting her head in the crook of his neck as he whispered something to her. She's so spoiled... I can guarantee that our child will be treated the exact same way.
The other three then made their way towards me, Serena now hugging me.
"Our sister-in-law is alive and well guys!" She exclaimed, Reyna shaking her head while a laugh came from Rome.
We all laughed at Serena and her humor before Axarii went to the kitchen to get the table ready for dinner, everyone following behind her. I felt my mouth as I began to drool. Food was all I could think about at the moment.
A hand on my shoulder then snapped me out of my thoughts, it belonging to Reyna.
"I'm glad that you're alright Orabella. All of us were worried when Cole told us what happened... I'm sorry about your friend. But at least you have us" She spoke out before smiling at me.
I smiled back before hugging her, "Thank you Reyna, I really appreciate that" I told her.
As we pulled away I then remembered something, "That reminds me... when we went to Italy, I met some guy named Vincenzo I think. He was talking about you nonstop" I teased, laughing as she now looked embarrassed.
"Don't tell me that you like him-" I began.
"As if! He's nowhere near my type" She rushed out before heading towards the kitchen. I would have never thought Reyna and I would be this close.
This is what having a family feels like...
