Things in the Jeon household just kept getting worse and worse.
There was no sign of brothers reconciling with each other if possible they even stopped looking at one another.
Namjoon was the most frustrated.
The stress and the fights with his family was getting up to him.
His argument with Yoongi.
Fight with Jungkook and their mother.
He felt like he was going crazy.
He just wanted some peace but his thoughts never left him alone.
Though all this didn't stop him from noticing how upset Jimin and Taehyung were.
So, he tried to be civil even if he felt like screaming his head off all the damn time.
Yoongi and Jungkook has choosen the other option and kept silence.
Though the sky outside was no longer covered with dark clouds, the Jeon mansion had their shadow looming over it.
It wasn't looking very good for the their family.

Jungkook walked towards his cabin with his eyes focused at the front.
His dark orbs didn't even waver for a second as the employees bowed to him.
And although he looked confident while nodding back at them in a gesture.
He clearly wasn't.
The look their employees were giving him was the same since the day Namjoon barged in his office unannounced to yell at him.
He had learnt to ignore it.
But that doesn't mean it still didn't hurt.
Because it clearly did.
It almost felt insulting.
Jungkook felt like his work ethics and efforts he had put in were challenged and that to by his own brother in front of his department and team.
All of this made him feel like a incompetent leader which he really didn't appreciate.
So, he was not going to let it go just because Namjoon was going through a difficult time and needed an outlet to let go of all the frustration.
Jungkook is a human and his feelings were hurt. He was not going to undermine them just because of his brother, who refused to show any acknowledgement or guilt.
This time he won't yield down first.
He won't.

"What is going on between you and Namjoon ?"Asked Yoongi as he sat down on the chair in front of him.
They were in the younger's cabin.
"It's been a week now."
"I meant to talk you before but couldn't."
The elder really did try to have a conversation with Jungkook before but their mother just kept appearing out of nowhere.
So,he gave up and waited till she was back to Switzerland.
Jungkook looked up from the the file he was reading and shook his head.
"Nothing is going on."
"Don't worry about it."He answered the other in a non-chalant manner and that action alone just confirmed how affected he was to his hyung.
Yoongi sighed.
"Jungkook-ah."He said.
"I know it's tiring."
"Don't keep your emotions bottled up."
"Tell me."
"Tell me what happened between you and Namjoon."
"So, that I can help you both, huh ?"
"I do have an idea about it but I need to know for sure."
Jungkook shut his file with a little more force than required and looked at him.
"It sure does hurt, hyung."
"It sure is tiring, let me tell you that."
"And to be honest at the moment I don't want anyone's help in it."
"It already feels as humiliating as it is."
"I get it, okay ?"
"I get it that he has his own issues and problems but that doesn't mean he'll get to go around and be mean to everyone he wants."
Yoongi tilted his head to the side immediately concerned by his brother's behaviour.
Jungkook's eyes were blazing with hurt.
"What do you mean ?"
But the younger forced his eyes closed and took a few deep breaths to gather himself.
And the next time those dark orbs opened the pain Yoongi saw there was gone.
The younger looked more calm and composed.
Jungkook tried to give him a smile but it all just turned into a grimace.
"Nothing hyung."
He started collecting a few files and paper in his hand.
"Now, if you'll excuse me I have a very long online international conference to attend with other business leaders."
"Oh also please do me a favour stay out of whatever is going on."
"I really don't want your involvement."
"It's between him and I."
"Thankyou."
With that he was put of the office, leaving Yoongi shell shocked.
It was the first time he saw his brother this affected and hurt.
Jungkook was really good at hiding his emotions from the start and now him having a trouble in hiding them was a clear sign of how upset he was.
Yoongi had to take a few moments to himself as he realised the matter was a little more serious than he thought it was.

"What did you do to Jungkook ?"
Namjoon looked up as Yoongi entered his cabin looking bewildered.
"What did you do to him ?"
The elder just sighed.
"I did nothing."
"What are you talking about ?"
"Oh quit it."
"I know you guys fought."
"Can't you just apologise and make up with him ?"
"He is your younger brother."
Namjoon scoffed.
"Why should I apologise to him ?"
"He should be the one to apologise."
"Because it was not me who didn't get the deal."
"It was him."
"You know how important this collaboration was for us."
"And he still messed up."
"Are you serious ?"Asked Yoongi in disbelief.
"You do know that is not the only company in that region, right ?"
"We have multiple options and we can choose."
"Yeah, but they definitely don't have the presence we need."Replied Namjoon sarcastically.
"It's just a bit of difference."
"It doesn't even matter."Argued Yoongi.
And before the elder could say something his phone rang.
Namjoon frowned as he saw the caller and picked it up.
Yoongi opened his mouth to protest as they were in a middle of an argument but stopped after noting other's expression.
"Yes."
"What ?"
Namjoon's face immediately turned pale as his eyes widened and he got up from his chair.
Yoongi got worried as well.
"What happened ?"He questioned.
And Namjoon looked at him aghast.
"Jin has been taking in for questioning."

"How many times do I have to tell you that ?"
"We are divorced."
"I don't have any kind of relationship with that family, now."
"Can you please just let me go ?"Said Jin for what seemed like nth time to him in the last one hour.
He was in a room with a official from the tax department and they were really trying to corner him.
"Mr. Kim."
"You see your statement doesn't match here because if you see this document here."
"The property may be bought by Jeons but it has been found to be linked with you."
"So, it is yours and you do have a connection with them."
Jin bit his lips in frustration.
"Yes, there were a few properties in my name bought by my ex-husband."
"But when we separated I gave them all back."
"I didn't even keep one."
"So, I real think there has been some mistake officer."
"This can't be seriously happening to me, right now."

Namjoon entered the room looking flabbergasted and panicked as his eyes automatically went around to find someone.
Yoongi right behind him looking equally shocked and confused.
Jin's eomma was pacing around in the hallway stressed when her eyes met him.
"Namjoonie."She rushed to him immediately.
"What's happening ?"
"Why did they take my son ?"
"Do something, please."
"I am really worried."
"He did not do anything."
"You know it, right ?"
"Get him out of there."
"He is alone."She cried.
"I can't even call anyone else because he told me not to--"
"Do something, Namjoonie."
And he immediately tried to calm her down.
"Eommo-nim."
"Please calm down."
"I'll get him out of there."
Namjoon guided her to a chair and sat down in front of her.
"Please don't cry."
"Take a few deep breaths."
"You are panicking."
"It's not good."
He guided her through the breathing excercise and she reluctantly followed.
"Get him out, please."
"Get him out."She asked with desperation in her eyes and he nodded feeling the same emotion as her.

"I talked to an officer."Said Yoongi as he approached them.
Mrs. Kim was then just sitting on a chair spaced out in concern for her son.
"It's a little more complicated than we thought."
Namjoon frowned and turned to him.
"What do you mean ?"
"Do you remember the land you bought four years ago right near the highway."
The elder nodded.
"Well then you might you also remember that it was bought in Jin's name."
" Yeah ?"He replied bemused.
"Apparently that land is not registered in the documents."
"The process was initiated but never completed."
"We have also not payed the tax on it apparently."
"How is that possible ?"
"We always make sure to complete the process."Countered Namjoon.
And Yoongi shrugged.
"I don't know."
"It just doesn't seem possible."
"Don't worry,though."
"I have already called our lawyer and asked him to get all the papers as well."
"I am sure it's just a misunderstanding."
Namjoon was in his thoughts so he just hummed in reply.
"But tell me something ?"
"What ?"Asked Yoongi.
"Why was this property not transferred back to me like others ?"
And the other sighed.
"It was supposed to be."
"But the paper work for all the other stuff took so long."
"So, we sent paper for transfer to him six months ago."
"I remember sending him the lawyer."
"Then what happened ?"Questioned the elder, clearly wanting to know the situation.
"The lawyer was denied on the door and was told to visit later--"
"And we forgot."Added Namjoon and completed his sentence.
"We didn't forget."
"We just didn't find the right time to visit again."Yoongi tried to say but Namjoon had stopped listening.
"It was me."Suddenly Jin's eomma stood up.
The elder went to help her.
"It was me, Joonie."
"I told them to go back."
"But he was sick."She said and looked at him.
"And whenever someone visited from your side."
"He got all upset."
"I just didn't want him to be more miserable."
"That's why I just asked them to be back later."
"I didn't mean for this happen."
"My son is there right now just because of me---"
"No."
Namjoon stopped her.
"It's not your fault."
"It is definitely ours."
"We should have prioritised the papers more."
"Don't blame yourself."
"And don't worry."
"I'll get him out of there."
"I promise."

"What's wrong now ?"Questioned Namjoon annoyed.
He really wasn't in a state to deal with all the officials.
So, he was just letting Yoongi do the job.
"The papers of registration."
"They are fake."
"Huh ?"
He stood up from his chair in disbelief.
"What do you mean fake ?"
"It has never happened to us before, Yoongi."
"What is going on ?"
"It's true."
"And yes it has never happened to us before."
"But it's happening now."
"Our lawyer also confirmed that the papers are fake."
"The land was never registered."
"How can this be possible ?"
"Can you explain it ?"He asked roughly.
"Well it was you who bought the property in the first place."
"So, you should know it better than me." The younger snapped back.
Just then Namjoon remembered something as he thought about it.
"I did buy the land but then there was this emergency in one of our office in States."
"So, I had to go there urgently."
"And I left all the other responsibilities of the purchase to Jungkook."
Yoongi frowned.
"Jungkook ?"
And just like that he was reminded of something as well.
"Isn't it around the time he was busy with a project with his father in law and was helping me with a deal as well ?"
"He was always tired."
"I don't know that."Said Namjoon.
And Yoongi shook his head as he understood the situation.
"Yes, he was."
"I also remember that he hired an agent to complete the work you left him because he was already so busy and didn't have the time to do it himself."
"An agent ?"
"He hired an agent ?"
"What ?"
"Yeah, you do know that official work takes a long time, right."Replied Yoongi as he could see the picture clearly.
'That fucking agent fucked us over."He said.
But Namjoon shook his head as he gritted his teeth in anger.
"It's because Jungkook just can't do any work given to him properly."
"He should have atleast cross checked but he didn't."
"It's Jungkook."
