After Rex and Midoriya changed into their school uniforms, they were walking with Mirio and Eri who was holding onto Mirio's jacket through the hallways of U.A. High School.
Mirio : Today's a weekend, but since everyone's in the dorms, a lot of students are still preparing for the festival.
As the four continue to walk down the hallway two third year students walk out from a business course classroom and see Mirio.
U.A. Student #1 : Oh, it's Togata!
U.A. Students #2 : *notices Eri* What?! A kid?! Don't tell me this is why you're on temporary leave from school...?
Mirio doesn't say anything and just gives the two third-year students a closed eye smile.
U.A. Students #2 : Wait, say something! That makes it seem real!
U.A. Students #1 : Putting all jokes aside, this year's Class I will be amazing, so make sure you come! You guys, too.
The third-year student gives out some of the fliers that he was holding to Midoriya, Rex, and Mirio.
Mirio : I'll definitely go!
Midoriya : This is a really nice flyer...!

After talking with the two business course students the four then leave the building and go outside and see even more students preparing for the festival.
Midoriya : Even though there's still a month, everyone's really busy!
Mirio : Everyone's trying to do something cooler than last year... They're trying to make it "Plus Ultra!"
Suddenly, a dragon head comes out of nowhere and comes up in front of the four, surprising them.
Tetsutetsu : Oh, sorry! Hey, you're Midoriya and Salazar from Class A!
Monoma : What's this, what's this? For you to be idling around in a place like this... You don't have any work to do?
Rex : Eri, are you okay?
Eri : I thought it was the person that fell from the sky...
Midoriya : Fell from the sky...?
Rex : I think she might mean Ryukyu.
Monoma : Oh, are you ignoring me? You sure that's okay? I heard Class A is doing a concert or something. You okay with that? This time, to put it bluntly, Class B's performance is going to be much more amazing than yours!
Monoma : "Romeo and Juliet and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The Return of the King." It's a completely original script written by us, a super spectacular fantasy play!
Rex ; ( It sounds to me like you just put a bunch of different movie titles together... )
Monoma : You should probably go prepare— A handkerchief to wipe your tears when you're blown away by us, that is!
Monoma starts to laugh like a maniac when suddenly, from behind, Awase from Class B hits Monoma over the head with a stick that he had in his hands. Before Awase hits Monoma, Rex turns Eri around so that she couldn't see the violent scene while Midoriya covered her eyes.
Midoriya : He seems even nastier than usual...
Awase : Sorry, Class A. Kendo isn't around so there's no one to stop him
Rex : Speaking of which, where is she? It seems like she always came as a set with Monoma...
Awase : *picking up Monoma* Not today. She's going to be in the beauty pageant.
Midoriya : Beauty pageant?!
Awase : Yeah, she was entered against her will.
Tetsutetsu : I'm not Monoma, but let's all go all out!
The three Class B students leave to continue preparing their play, leaving Rex, Midoriya, Mirio, and Eri.
Mirio : Sorry to suddenly show you the bad parts of U.A., Eri.
Rex : I don't remember anything about there being a beauty pageant.
Mirio : Speaking of the beauty pageant, she's also really into it this year.
Midoriya : Who?
Mirio : Last year's runner-up... Nejire Hado, right?

The four then head back into the school and walk until they reach the Equipment Room. As they enter the room, they see Nejire who was wearing a dress and floating in the air using her Quirk.
Nejire then notices Mirio, Rex, Midoriya, and Eri on the ground as she floats down with her childish curiosity.
Nejire : Hey, hey, why is Eri here? It's so strange! Why? Why? How fun!
Haya : Nejire is more of a cute type than a sexy type!
Boy U.A. Student : That's how she lost last year, remember?
Back with Nejire and the others, Midoriya was looking away from Nejire while blushing.
Midoriya : Your Quirk is flashy, and with your looks and b-b-bo-bo...
Nejire : Yeah, listen to this! Are you listening? Every year I keep losing! There's this other girl who's amazing! The beauty pageant champion—
Nejire : Bibimi Kanranzaki, in support course Class 3-G!
Midoriya : It's kind of amazing!
Tamaki : This year's pageant also includes Kendo, who gained a lot of secret fans by being in a commercial. Hado is also going all out. Just thinking about performing... in front of so many people...
Tamaki then falls to his knees and holds his stomach in pain.
Tamaki : Oww... It's making my stomach hurt...
Nejire : At first, I just tried entering because Yuyu told me to, but it's pretty fun, and I don't want to lose. That's why this year, I will definitely win! It's my last chance.
Mirio : You can do it.
Tamaki : Yeah.

After they spoke to Nejire and Tamaki, the four left the Equipment room and went to another part of U.A. to see what the students were preparing for the festival. They then arrive at the Development Studio and see that the students were working on their inventions.
Mirio : Now! Next is... The Support Course! All the grades work together to put on an exhibition of their work.
Midoriya : I know about this! This is something that makes a splash every year!
Hatsume : That's right! The school festival is the support course's time to shine!
Midoriya quickly turns around slightly startled and sees Hatsume who was standing behind him.
Midoriya : Hatsume...! Wait... whoa!
Midoriya then looks up and sees that there was a large robot suit behind Hatsume.
Hatsume : It's my super cute baby #202!
Rex : Oh, you look like you've got dirt on you...
Hatsume : Bathing just seems like a waste of time!
Midoriya : Really?!
Mirio : Wow!
Hatsume : The sports festival was like a secondary place for the hero course to show off. But this time, we've been given the spotlight! It's so I can get even bigger companies to look at my babies even more carefully! I need to raise them in a way that doesn't embarrass me! How did the iron soles work out for you? Midoriya : I will, thank you!

Suddenly, Rex was caught off when the robot suit that Hatsume made started to make a crackling noise. The suit then starts to emit smoke before it explodes, surprising her and everyone in the room.
Hatsume : Baby?!
Support Course Student : Hatsume, again?!
Rex : Uh... Well, I guess I'll see you around some time. Let's go, Eri.
Eri : Okay.

[ Time Skip ]
After walking around the school for a while, the four went to the cafeteria to get Eri a drink while also to take a break from walking around.
Mirio : Well, that's about it.
Midoriya : Are you used to it...? I mean, how was it?
Eri : I don't really know...
The three U.A. students look at each other with a sweat drop going down their face as they could understand why Eri thought that.
Eri : But... there are a lot of different people working hard, so I wonder how it'll turn out...
This causes Rex, Midoriya, and Mirio to smile as they were happy to hear that Eri was looking forward to seeing the school festival.
Nezu : That's what people call "getting excited."
The four then look over to the right and see the principal of the school, Nezu, who was sitting next to Midnight while eating cheese while Midnight was eating some curry.
Midoriya : Principal Nezu! Ms. Midnight!
Nezu finally finishes eating the piece of cheese and takes out a handkerchief and wipes his mouth with it.
Nezu : It seems like it was worthwhile!
Rex : *whispering* He's eating cheese...!
Nezu : I'm also excited about the school festival! So many students are working hard and having fun in order to make it the best and to let people enjoy it!
Midnight : The police also had stuff to say about it.
Nezu : Now, Kayama. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it to your heart's content.
Nezu then hops off his seat and starts to walk away from the cafeteria. Midnight, who has finished eating her curry, stands up from her seat and picks up her tray, but before she leaves, she tells the students something important about the school festival.
Midnight : I won't tell you details, but it looks like the principal worked hard. As a result the security is even stronger... And if the alarm sounds, even if it's a false alarm, we had to agree to cancel it and evacuate, otherwise we can't have it.
Midoriya : That's strict...
Midnight : Of course, to keep that from happening, we're also beefing up our defense. We're even releasing Hound Dog around the vicinity of the school.

Rex : Sorry, our break's almost over, so we should be heading off!
Mirio : Okay! Just so you know, I'm looking forward to it, too!
Rex and Midoriya then leave the cafeteria and head back to the Class 1-A dorm to continue their dance practice.

After a week passed, Midoriya was currently standing in front of Ashido and the other members of their dance group inside of their classroom.
Ashido : Midoriya... You're... fired from the dance team!
Midoriya was completely shocked by this sudden information, hearing that he was fired from the dance team.
Ashido : I said fired but strictly speaking... the effects team scouted you! They said they need more people!
Midoriya : *still in shock* Why me...? I already told Eri that I'd be dancing...
Ashido : They want to make it so Aoyama can reach the whole room...
Midoriya : What does it mean for Aoyama to reach the whole room...?
Ashido : ... but we don't have large scale equipment like that, so they said they wanted a power type person to move him by hand...
Aoyama : During the beginning of the performance, I'm going to transform from a dancer into a disco ball. It's the perfect job for me. I'd like your help.
Midoriya : Which means, I'll just have a smaller part...
Kirishima : Sorry! It'll waste all that practice you put in, but can you do it? We want to make it even better...!
Midoriya : If I could still dance, I wouldn't have been lying to Eri. If it's to make this into something good... All right!

It was the next day, and it was early in the morning as Rex was currently outside the school grounds with both Midoriya and All Might. Rex was asked by All Might to help Midoriya in his training since they were destroying too many trees outside of U.A.
Rex was currently using the Block Party and was blocking the shockwave attacks that Midoriya was sending at him. Midoriya then stops sending these attacks at Rex as his finger starts to bruise.
All Might : It's still hard for you to shoot consecutively or while you're moving, huh? You have some internal bleeding. Cool it down with this.
All Might hands a handkerchief to Midoriya to put on his finger while Rex walks over to the two.
Midoriya : When I'm trying to exercise so much more control than I've had to before... Is there a trick to it or something?
All Might : I don't know.
All Might : I was just kind of able to use 100% right away... All I can say is what I told you from the start— to create an image in your head. That's all. Solidify the image and remember how it feels through experience. I think all you can do is keep repeating the—
Before All Might could finish his sentence, he quickly coughs up blood which surprises Midoriya and Rex.
Rex : It's been a while since you've coughed up blood!
All Might : *wiping blood* Also, I should thank you, Young Salazar, for helping us with Young Midoriya's training.
Rex : No need to thank me. I don't have a problem helping out since I know about One For All, and I'm pretty sure most of these trees would've been ash if you asked Bakugo.
All Might : *sweat drops* Again, thank you...
Suddenly, something comes out from the trees behind All Might and starts to fly towards the retired hero. However with incredible reaction time, All Might was able to catch it before it could hit anyone.
The three then hear something rustling inside the bushes and see Hatsume who came running out from the bushes and over to All Might who was holding her invention.
Hatsume : I'm sorry! Is anyone hurt?
Midoriya : Hatsume?!
Hatsume : Oh, I sometimes test my babies around here.
All Might : *hands Hatsume the invention* Don't worry about it.
Hatsume : Thank you very much! This baby is a mini third eye...
Hatsume then notices Midoriya and runs over to him and tells him some news regarding the new item he requested for his costume.
Hatsume : Oh yeah! Midoriya! About that new item you asked for the other day— I had a baby that could do something similar, so I'm customizing it right now. Once the application goes through, I'll get it to you right away!
Midoriya : Huh? I thought I said you could do it after the school festival...
Hatsume : It's like how an artist draws on their breaks. I've got a base for it, so it'll be done in no time!
Midoriya : It's like... aw, thank you!
Hatsume : *turns to Rex* Rex, can I hold onto your goggles for a second? I wanna run a diagnostic check and make sure everything's working properly. And I've developed an update.
Rex : Update? Nah. These things work fine.
Hatsume : Just because something works doesn't mean it can't be improved.
Hatsume holds out her hand so that Rex could give her the goggles, as Rex sees that he had no choice but to give her the goggles. As soon as he gives her the goggles, Hatsume's invention starts to fly off as she chases after it once more.
Hatsume : Huh? Where are you going, baby? Wait!
All Might looks over at Midoriya, slightly confused about the item that he asked Hatsume to make for him.
All Might : Item?
Midoriya : Actually, there's something I want to try with this new move...
Midoriya then explains to All Might and Rex who returns his arms back to normal, the new move that he was developing and the item that he asked Hatsume to make for the move to work.
Rex : So you're thinking of attacking from long-distance, huh?
All Might : I see. I also tried something like that in the past.
Midoriya : All Might you used a support item?! I had no idea!
All Might : It was just that even an item made for 20-30% of my power was bulky. It would've been fine if I mainly fought mid- or long range, but since I was mainly short-range, I kept breaking it...
All Might then suddenly transforms into his muscle form.
All Might : In the end, I chose to fight with nothing except my own body!
Midoriya : It's been a while since your last muscle form!
Rex : You can say that again.
Not being able to hold his muscle form for very long, All Might soon returns back to his normal form and coughs up some blood.
All Might : Reinforcing your power with an item is a wonderful idea, but just make sure you don't end up relying on it too much. Not being able to show their power after losing an item... I've seen many heroes like that.
Midoriya : Yes, sir!
All Might : All right, let's create an image!
Midoriya : This feels really nostalgic right now..!
All Might : Are you ready, Young Salazar?
Rex : Yeah.

It was now night time and the band team had finished their rehearsal for the day as Bakugo was walking with Kaminari while yelling at him for his guitar playing.
Bakugo : You're rushing, you bastard! Follow my lead!
Kaminari : But you keep throwing in new arrangements, so it's confusing.
Jiro, who had a towel around her neck, walked by the kitchen as Yaoyorozu was preparing some tea.
Yaoyorozu : Jiro, you seem to be born to teach. For a beginner like Kaminari to be able to learn chord progressions in just a week...!
Jiro : It's not that amazing. Anyway, today's tea smells really good!
Yaoyorozu : *happily* Can you tell? Mother sent me this elusive tea, Gold Tips Imperial. Everyone, please try some!
Hagakure : I don't really get it, but thanks, as always!
Ashido : I don't really get it, but that's so bourgeois!
Meanwhile with Midoriya, he was sitting on the couch in the common space area while scrolling through videos on his phone. Uraraka, who was holding a cup of tea walks over to Midoriya as she sees that he didn't get up to drink some tea.
Uraraka : Deku, you're not going to drink Yao-momo's tea...?
Suddenly, Uraraka feels someone put their hand on her shoulder as she turns her head and sees that it was Rex.
Uraraka : Rex?
Rex : Don't even bother.
Uraraka looks at Rex confused by what he meant by that as the young hero points at Midoriya as she sees that he was totally focused on his phone.
Midoriya : *muttering* All Might with an item, All Might with an item, All Might with an item, All Might with an item. I'm such a failure for not knowing about that rare Might. I'm such a failure for not knowing about that rare Might. Is there merch? Pics...? None. Maybe it's in a video.
Rex : I tried to snap him out of it, but had no luck...
Midoriya continues to scroll through his phone while trying to find a video that had All Might with an item, but accidentally taps on another video which makes him quickly snap back to reality.
Midoriya : Shoot, I tapped on it!
Gentle Criminal : *in video* Dear listeners, what kind of tea do you drink at what times? Before and after a job, I always choose the brand based on the size of the job.
Uraraka : A video about tea? Perfect timing! Here.
Uraraka then hands the cup of tea she was holding to Midoriya.
Midoriya : Thanks.
Gentle Criminal : *in video* And this is called Royal Flush. Do you know what that means?
??? : *in video* That you're cool because you have discriminating taste?
Gentle Criminal : *in video* In the next video I put out, an alarm will sound, not just to my dear listeners, but to all society. Please wait with caution!
The video then ends and surprises Uraraka on how short it was.
Uraraka : That's short.
Midoriya : This person...
Rex : You know him? Is he some sort of vlogger on the rise or something?
Uraraka : *looking at video* People don't seem to like him much, though.
Midoriya : I only kind of know who he is, but he's a villain who's kind of famous in certain circles for causing trouble. It's kind of amazing that he's been putting out these videos but hasn't been caught yet, though. I wonder what he's planning next...
Rex : Well, he doesn't look all that dangerous, so there's nothing to worry about. The police'll catch him soon enough.
Midoriya : Yeah, I'm sure you're right.
