The wedding and reception had come to an end, and Renjun was now on his way to the Liu mansion with Yangyang. The nerves were getting the best of him, as he had never stayed overnight at someone's house before, let alone his new husband's.

As they drove in the car, Renjun couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension. "What should we do once we get to your place?" he asked Yangyang, trying to hide his nervousness.

Yangyang smiled warmly. "Nothing much. We can take some time to unwind, and you can have the guest bedroom. I'll sleep in the living room," he replied.

"But only if you want to," Yangyang added playfully. "I very much want to sleep in the same bed with my husband, and it's our wedding night after all."

Renjun blushed and giggled at Yangyang's comment. "Are you sure?" he asked, feeling a surge of affection towards his husband.

"Absolutely," Yangyang assured him, reaching out to hold Renjun's hand.

When they arrived at the Liu mansion, Renjun couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The mansion was grand and beautiful, and he couldn't believe he was going to call this place home.

Renjun decided he would sleep with Yangyang in his room, there was no need to sleep in different rooms.

They made their way to the master bedroom, and Renjun's heart raced with anticipation. As they undressed and got into bed, he couldn't help but steal glances at Yangyang's bare body.

Yangyang noticed Renjun's gaze and teased, "Renjun, can I feel you staring at me? It's kinda hot."

"Shut up and sleep," Renjun replied, playfully swatting Yangyang's arm.

Yangyang chuckled and turned the lights off. He snuggled closer to Renjun, and Renjun felt the warmth of his husband's body against his own. It was comforting, and he felt a sense of safety and intimacy that he had never experienced before.

What Renjun didn't know was that Yangyang was actually controlling himself not to pounce on renjun. He knew renjun was physically and mentally exhausted with the day's events. So, he decided to keep his hands to himself for now.

Renjun couldn't fall asleep. He was anxious and restless, thinking about the future.

"I hope my family isn't too angry with me," he murmured.

Yangyang chuckled. "I'm sure they'll be fine."

"They agreed after all even though they were kind of put in the spot" he continued.

"Well, they probably understand that it was for the best."

"Yeah probably, I think they're happy that you have a husband now."

"I guess so."

"And I'm sure you'll be happier with me than anyone else" Yangyang grinned.

Renjun rolled his eyes. "You're annoying"

"No, I'm just stating facts."

"Go to sleep"

Yangyang kissed Renjun on the lips. "Good night, sweetheart."

Sweetheart?? I'm gonna combust.

"G'night"

The two of them slept soundly in each other's arms.

Renjun woke up the next morning, finding himself trapped in bed as Yangyang had wrapped his arms around his waist. Despite his attempts to free himself, Yangyang's hold remained firm, and Renjun settled back into the bed with a sigh. However, he felt something poking against his thighs, and a blush crept onto his cheeks as he realized his body's response to the situation.

"Oh," Renjun whispered under his breath.

As if sensing his arousal, Yangyang stirred, his eyes gradually fluttering open. A knowing grin spread across his face. "Good morning, Renjun. Did you sleep well?"

Renjun nodded, his cheeks flushed.

A mischievous glint sparkled in Yangyang's eyes. "I can see that. I'm glad you're awake."

Yangyang leaned in, capturing Renjun's lips in a soft, lingering kiss. Renjun's lips curved into a smile against Yangyang's as their kiss deepened. Yangyang's arm tightened around Renjun's waist, pulling him closer.

He moaned softly at the sensation of his husband's tongue in his mouth.

Yangyang slid his hand under his shirt and ran his fingers across the skin of Renjun's chest.

"Your skin is so soft," Yangyang whispered, his hot breath tickling Renjun's ear.

"Mmm" Renjun moaned.

Yangyang kissed down his neck until he reached his collarbone.

Then he took his time licking and sucking each inch of skin he passed.

It took all his self-control not to make a mess in the sheets.

Things were getting super-heated between Yangyang and Renjun. Their bodies entwined, their passion evident, when suddenly, Yangyang's phone began ringing incessantly.

"Who the heck calls so early in the morning? Ugh," Yangyang grumbled in frustration as he reluctantly picked up the phone.

Renjun couldn't hear the conversation, but it must have been something important because Yangyang's expression changed to his cold and serious CEO face – the one Renjun had seen when he first met him.

Lost in admiration of his now-husband, Renjun watched as Yangyang ended the call and quickly got up from their bed.

"Renjun, I need to meet someone at the office urgently. I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself, okay?" Yangyang said, giving Renjun a quick kiss on the forehead before heading out to get ready.

Renjun sighed and got up as well. He refreshed himself in the other bathroom and decided to make breakfast for Yangyang, since the maids had been sent away for two days. Cooking wasn't his forte, but he was determined to manage.

Just as he finished cooking, Yangyang walked into the kitchen, looking dashing as ever.

"Hey," Renjun greeted him with a smile, trying to hide the disappointment he felt about their interrupted moment earlier.

Yangyang returned the smile, although there was a tinge of regret in his eyes. "Hey, sorry about that. Duty calls," he said apologetically.

Renjun nodded understandingly. "It's okay, I know you have important things to take care of," he replied, trying not to let his disappointment show.

Yangyang walked over and wrapped his arms around Renjun, pulling him into a warm embrace. "Thank you for understanding. I promise I'll make it up to you later," he whispered, planting a gentle kiss on Renjun's lips.

He set the breakfast table and prepared a plate for Yangyang.

Yangyang was in a hurry, but as he sat down to eat Renjun's cooking, he decided to take his time and savor every bite. He knew that once the maids returned, he wouldn't get the chance to enjoy Renjun's cooking again, so he wanted to make the most of it.

After Yangyang left, Renjun decided to head over to his gallery. He owned a pretty famous gallery in the city, but he had this low-key thing going on where nobody really knew he was the owner. Even the employees there thought he was just the manager – he'd delegate stuff through his trusted hyung Kun. Renjun didn't really want people to know the full deal, especially his greedy relatives who'd just get nosy. His parents kinda suspected, but he hadn't confirmed anything to them either. It's not like he was lying; he just thought his business stuff was his business, you know? If someone stumbled upon the truth, he'd handle it, but till then, why make a fuss?

The building also includes a studio and a small apartment. These private spaces were inaccessible to the general public and served as Renjun's personal sanctuary. Whenever his managerial responsibilities allowed, Renjun would sneak into the studio to indulge in his passion for painting. On occasions when work extended into late hours, he would opt to spend the night in the apartment instead of commuting back home. Despite adopting this routine for a considerable period, Renjun was surprised that no one within the establishment had yet pieced together his dual role.

Entering the gallery, Renjun spotted Kun.

"Morning, Kun," Renjun greeted him warmly.

"Oh hey Renjun, i didn't expect you today. What are you doing here?"

Renjun's cheeks flushed a faint shade of pink. Kun had been a guest at Yangyang's wedding – well, their wedding to be precise. He was more like an older brother to Renjun, and the shock on his face was evident when Yangyang surprised everyone by proposing to Renjun right then and there.

Flashback

As the servants led him away to get dressed for the ceremony, Kun had followed, concern etched on his features. "Renjun, are you sure about this? Marrying Yangyang so suddenly?" he had asked, his worry palpable in his voice. So Renjun had told given him the gist of what was happening.

Kun's brows furrowed, still unconvinced. "But Renjun, marriage is a huge step. It's not something to be taken lightly."

Renjun had paused, his gaze earnest as he met Kun's eyes. "I know, Kun. And believe me, I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel it too. I can't explain it, but there's something there, something that makes me want to give this a chance."

Kun had studied Renjun for a moment before finally nodding, a resigned smile tugging at his lips. "Alright, Renjun. If you're sure about this, then I'll support you."

End of Flashback

"Nothing, I just want to check some things"

"Sure. By the way the painting was delivered this morning, we are hanging it on the second floor right now. We also have a lot of visitors coming in and out because of that painting, the artist did an amazing job. The painting is truly beautiful."

"Really?"

"Yeah, why don't you see it for yourself."

"Okay, thanks"

"You're welcome"

Renjun went up to the second floor. As he approached the painting, his eyes were immediately drawn to the details.

He stared in awe at the beauty of the work.

Lost in admiration, Renjun was drawn out of his thoughts by a commotion downstairs. Whispers and hurried footsteps filled the air, prompting his curiosity. He descended the stairs and arrived at the entrance, where he found his employees in a flurry of activity.

Among the crowd, Renjun's gaze landed on a familiar figure – a tall, muscular man with striking black hair and piercing eyes. His heart skipped a beat as recognition hit him like a wave – it was his ex-boyfriend, Guanlin.

"Oh shit!"
