Before Rex knew it, September was over, and October began. Any traces of summer disappeared completely and the differences in temperature grew larger. After the whole Shie Hassaikai incident, the work study students went with All Might and Aizawa to attend Nighteye's funeral.
After discussions between the school and the hero agencies about the work studies, it was decided that they would wait and see what to do next. Nighteye's sidekick, Centipeder, took over Nighteye's agency, waiting for Mirio's return.
As for Eri, even though she finally regained consciousness, since she was still unstable emotionally and her Quirk could go out of control at any time, visitors weren't allowed to see her. But, the horn on Eri's forehead that released her rewinding Quirk shrank as her fever went down and is now only about the size of a bump.

Currently with the Class A students, some of them were at the back of the classroom as Ashido was stretching as she was preparing to show her classmates one of her hobbies.
Ashido : Look, look! Look at me!
Ashido starts to two step while swinging her arms, before she starts to break dance.
Ashido : Breaking, breaking!
Sero : Pow, pow!
Hagakure : Pow, pow!
Ashido : Breaking! Breaking!
Sero & Hagakure : Pow, pow!
Rex : *watching amazed* She's making air pressure with each spin! That's awesome!
Aoyama : Dancing is her hobby, huh?
Mineta : If you're gonna wear something under, then take off your skirt!
Suddenly, Hagakure goes over to Mineta and starts to angrily hit him on top of his head repeatedly.
Hagakure : Mineta, you can't talk like that!
Midoriya : *looking at notes* Ashido must be able to fight well because of her dancing. It's like she uses her whole body in all her movements.
Aoyama : During our first combat training, I'll never forget how she burned through my cape. And the finals at the sports festival... I'll never forget that, either.
Midoriya : Maybe I'll try, too.
Kaminari : Why don't you get her to teach you?
Ashido stops breaking dancing and stands up as she faces Midoriya.
Ashido : Okay, boy, let's dance!
Midoriya : Oh, um, please teach me!
Ashido : First, the two-step.
Ashido performs the two-step once again to show Midoriya and Aoyoma how to do it.
Ashido : Step forward and back, left and right, and swing both arms...
Midoriya and Aoyama look at Ashido, confused as they had no idea how they were supposed to pull that off. The two students then attempt to perform the dance move but were way off the mark from the actual dance move.
Midoriya : L... Like this...?
Rex continues to look at Midoriya and Aoyama's terrible dance as he takes out his phone and starts to record while trying to stop himself from laughing.
Kaminari : It's nice to be able to apply your hobbies to hero work. Makes you strong! Speaking of hobbies, you have an amazing one, too, right, Jiro?
Jiro : Hey, stop with that.
Kaminari : You know your room at the dorm— It was like a music store in there! That went past just a hobby!
Jiro : *slightly irritated* I said, stop! Can you forget about my room?
Kaminari : Man, but that was a pro's room! Honestly it was co—
Before Kaminari could finish his sentence Jiro suddenly sends one of her Earphone Jacks at Kaminari and stops it a few inches away from his face. Everyone then looks over at Jiro and sees that she was irritated at Kaminari.
Jiro : Seriously!
Jiro turns around and starts to walk back to her seat while Kaminari was confused as to why Jiro was mad at him.
Kaminari : *confused* Why...?
Rex : You shouldn't worry about it too much.
Kaminari : But why is she so mad...?
Rex : She's less mad than she is embarrassed.

It was later in the day and all of the Class A students were in their classroom and in their seats while their homeroom teacher, Aizawa, was at the front of the class while slipping into his sleeping bag. In fall, at U.A. High School, the students were preparing for a certain event...
Aizawa :: Um... We're going to have a school festival.
Everyone : *excited* Schooent!
Mineta : School festival!
Sero : It's a super normal school event!
Hagakure : Let's decide what we're gonna do!
Kirishima : *stands up, worried* Mr. Aizawa, is this really okay? To be so carefree in these times?
Kaminari : Kirishima... you've changed.
Kirishima : But it's true— villains are flourishing right now!
Aizawa : You're right. That's a very reasonable opinion. However, U.A. isn't just about the hero course, if the sports festival is the big moment for the hero course, the school festival is for the others— the support course, general studies, and business course students— to shine. It doesn't get as much attention as the sports festival, but for them, it's an event they look forward to. And there are those who are feeling stressed by the current conditions, which, starting with the dorms system, came about because of the hero course.
Kirishima : *sitting back down* Thinking about it that way, there's no excuse for not holding it.
Aizawa : Yeah. That's why we can't just say we won't have it. Unlike past years, this year, other than some of the people involved, the festival will be just for the school. Even if we aren't the focus, each class still needs to participate with something. You need to decide that today...
Aizawa sits down in the corner of the classroom and slowly closes his eyes before falling asleep.
Everyone : ( He's asleep! )
With their homeroom teacher sleeping, the class representative, Tenya Iida, and deputy class representative, Momo Yaoyorozu, step up to the front of the class so they could decide what their class would do for the upcoming school festival.
Iida : I, Tenya Iida, Class 1-A representative, will take things from here! I'll do my best to help things go smoothly! First put out some options. If you have a suggestion, raise your hand!
Suddenly at the same time, all the students raised their hands with incredible speed which overwhelmed Iida and Yaoyorozu.
Iida : Their attitudes changed so fast! I will definitely consolidate everyone's ideas! Okay, Kaminari!
Kaminari : Let's do a maid café! This is what I imagine!
Kaminari : This is what I imagine, with more details!
Kaminairi : If I add my own desire, it's like this! So let's do a maid café!
Iida : Maids... So we'd be serving others! That's not bad!
Rex : Maid outfits...
Rex then starts to think about the idea and imagines Jiro in a maid outfit.
Rex : ( Cute. )
Mineta : That's too tame, Kaminari!
Iida : Mineta!
Mineta : A boo—
Suddenly, Mineta was tied up with a rope and cloth by Tsuyu before he could finish suggesting his idea.
Tsuyu : Do you have a weight?
Rex : No...
Meanwhile, the other students started to pitch their own ideas for what the class should do for the festival.
Uraraka : A mochi shop!
Iida : I see, something Japanese!
Kirishima : An arm wrestling tournament!
Iida : That's intense!
Hagakure : A fun house!
Iida : I don't know what that is, but I'm sure it's interesting!
Rex : A ping-pong and volleyball tournament!
Iida : Something sporty! I like it!
Ashido : A dance!
Iida : Sounds dazzling!
Midoriya : A hero quiz!
Iida : That's so like you, Midoriya!
Iida : How charming!
Koda : A petting zoo.
Iida : A petting zoo!
Todoroki : Hand-made soba.
Iida : It's your favorite!
Bakugo : A death match!
Iida : An unexpected fight to the death!
Tokoyami : A feast of the students of darkness.
Iida : Oh-ho!
Aoyama : My twinkling show!
Iida : Huh?!
Jiro : A skit or something?
Iida : I see!
Rex overhears Jiro's suggestion and looks at her as he knew that wasn't what she really wanted to do.
Iida : Now, any others?
Sero : An Asian café!
Ojiro : A dance performance!
Shoji : A takoyaki shop!
[ Time Skip ]
After hearing everyone's suggestions for the school festival, all of their ideas were written on the blackboard at the front of the class.
Iida : I think we've got something from everyone now?
Yaoyorozu : I'll eliminate the ones that are inappropriate, impossible, or confusing.
Yaoyorozu then crosses Bakugo, Tokoyami, Aoyama, and Mineta's suggestions off of the list using the tablet she was holding.
Tokoyami : Merciless!
Bakugo : Don't ask us in the first place, then!
Hagakure : The local history presentation seems kinda boring.
Shoji : That's true.
Ojiro : It seems fun, but the others seem more fun.
Iida flinches from Hagakure, Shoji, and Ojiro's comments as he was the one who suggested the idea.
Iida : I cannot go against the consensus!
Rex : We might as well cross study sessions off, too. You guys do that all the time.
Yaoyorozu : I thought maybe it would be of help...
The students start to talk amongst themselves to try and figure out what they should do while Iida tries to get them to quiet down.
Iida : Quiet down!
However, the students ignore him and continue to talk about what they should do while the class representative continues to try and quiet them down.
Iida : Quiet! Quiet!
Yaoyorozu : We haven't been able to come to a consensus...
Iida : Quiet down!
The students continue to talk about ideas for the festival while continuing to ignore Iida, as the final bell for the day rings, meaning school was over. Aizawa gets out of his sleeping bag and walks over to the door.
Aizawa : That was a very illogical meeting. Decide what you'll do tomorrow morning. If you don't... I'll make it a public lecture.
Everyone : *scared* Public lecture!
Kaminari : That's just studying!
Sero : He's joking, right?
Kirishima : Everyone, let's decide what we'll do by tonight!
Everyone : Yeah!

It was now night time as the Class A students were all gathered in the common space area to figure out what to do for the school festival. Ojiro looks around and sees that the work study students were gone.
Ojiro : Huh? Where are the interns?
Kaminari : Extra classes. They can't participate in the discussion, so they said they'd do what we decided.
Ojiro : What about Bakugo?
Kaminari : Sleeping.
Iida : Everyone, I took a step back and thought about it again... And the stress we cause the other courses that Mr. Aizawa was talking about— I think we should do something to help them relieve that.
Yaoyorozu : You're right. Those aiming to be heroes cannot cause trouble for others without doing anything about it.
Iida : In that case, honestly, I don't think we can offer U.A. students who know Lunch Rush's cooking anything that could satisfy their stomachs.
Sero : Oh, do you mean we shouldn't do food?
Iida : Personally, that's what I think. If you think about how to serve students in the other courses...
Shoji : If you put it that way... It would be rude to them if we were the only ones having fun. It's frustrating, but we can't beat Lunch Rush.
Hagakure : Then...
Yaoyorozu : If we look at the ones falling under experience, we get... the maid cafe, petting zoo, or fun house?
Sero : A zoo would be hard to keep sanitary, wouldn't it?
Hagakure : Hmm, a stress relief, huh?
Jiro : We can't do a funny skit?
Sero : Watching amateurs perform is really stressful, you know?
Ashido : It's fun if we all dance together...
Todoroki : *stands up* A dance... might be good.
Todoroki stands up from his chair and walks over to everyone else as he takes the computer and looks up something.
Todoroki : Hang on a second. There was something, wasn't there...? I don't know what it's called, but it's the one where everyone's having a good time.
Todoroki finally finds what he was looking for and plays a video of a live concert and shows it to everyone.
Todoroki : Oh, something like this.
Mineta : This isn't something I'd expect from Todoroki. Did you turn into one of those "party people", Todoroki?!
Todoroki : No. I agree with Iida's opinion that we should provide stress relief for the other courses. In order to do that, don't you think it would be good to offer a place where everyone can have fun? The idea came from our supplemental classes for the provisional license.
Kaminari : ( What kind of supplemental classes are they taking...? )
Iida : I see... Song and dance, huh?
Sero : I'll say it again, but watching amateurs perform is really stressful, you know?
Ashido : I can teach people how to dance!
Aoyama then performs the two-step dance move from earlier today and instead of messing it up, he was able to do it perfectly.
Kaminari : An amateur that moved bizarrely masters the step in one day! Ashido's instruction is proven to work!
Mineta : Wait, you amateurs! Dance is about rhythm! In other words, sound! Party people need the ultimate music to dance to!
Hagakure : If we're talking about music...
Hagakure turns around and looks at a certain someone who could help them as everyone else gets the same idea and looks at that person as well.
Jiro : Huh? What?
Hagakure : We can play live music on your instruments!
Jiro : Wait a second!
Hagakure : What's wrong? You're really good at playing and teaching people how to play, and you always look like you're having a lot of fun when you play music! I want to hear your music!
Jiro looks down at the ground slightly embarrassed as she starts to tap her Earphone Jacks together.
Jiro : Ashido... Her hobbies are all rooted in hero work, right? Mine... is really just a hobby... Honestly, I don't think it's something I can boast about publicly...
Kaminari : Is that what that was about this afternoon...? That's why Rex said you were embarrassed! It's super cool to be able to play so many instruments!
Koda : Jiro! It's a technique that might be able to make people smile. I think that's definitely something you could use in your hero work!
Jiro soon starts to rub the back of her head while still being embarrassed while Yaoyorozu speaks up.
Yaoyorozu : I understand where you two are coming from, but the decision should be left up to Jiro herself...
Jiro : After being told all that... to not do it...
Jiro : ...wouldn't be rockin' at all, would it?
Everyone : Yeah!
With that said, it was decided that Class 1-A would be doing a live performance and dance for the school festival.

It was the next day and Midoriya, Mirio, Rex, and Aizawa were all at the hospital where Eri was being kept. They enter the hospital and go up a couple floors before reaching Eri's room as they open the door and see the little girl on her bed.
Rex : Midoriya, Mirio : Eri!
Midoriya : Sorry I couldn't come see you sooner.
Rex : We kinda got sidetracked with school. But, you're looking a lot better now.
Mirio : Here's a fruit basket! Eat some if you'd like! Is there any fruit you like? Can I try guessing? It's peaches, right? Cause you're like a peach!
Eri : Apples...
Mirio : That's what I thought! Then let's peel it! Since it's an apple!
Mirio starts to peel the apple while Rex and Midoriya get some chairs so that they could sit down and talk with Eri. Aizawa was leaning against the doorway watching the four while a nurse and doctor were standing behind him.
Nurse : I wonder if it'll be okay...You had said that it would be better for her to be kept away from anything that would remind her of the incident...
Doctor : I was worried about her powers going out of control. However, there's no need to worry, at least for now. Right now, there's no energy left in that girl to go out of control.
Mirio finishes peeling the apple as he sits down next to Rex and Midoriya as Eri opens her mouth and starts to get what she was feeling off her chest.
Eri : This whole time, even when I had a fever, I was thinking... about when you rescued me. But I didn't know both of your names. I only knew Lemillion. I wanted to know both of your names.
Midoriya : I'm Izuku Midoriya. My hero name is Deku! Um, maybe since Deku is shorter, it's easier to remember... Deku. I'm Deku!
Rex : I'm Rex Salazar. My hero name is basically just my name, so just call me that. Rex.
Eri : *confused* Hero name?
Midoriya : It's like a nickname.
Eri : Rex.
Rex : You got it.
Eri : Deku.
Midoriya : That's right!
Eri : Lemillion. Rex. Deku. And... that man wearing the glasses... All of you... were injured badly because of me. *tearing up* Because of me, you all suffered... I'm sorry... It... It was my fault that you lost your power, Lemillion...
Mirio then cuts Eri off by putting his hand on her head and starts to reassure her.
Mirio : Eri. No one thought they were suffering. This is what we all think: "I'm glad Eri is okay!" There's no point in apologizing to someone who doesn't exist. Don't worry about it.
Eri then looks at the three students and starts to make strange faces confusing the three students.
Eri stops making faces as she looks down with tears in her eyes and feels guilty once again.
Eri : I'm sorry... How do you smile again...?
The three were shocked to hear this as they realized that they were trying to smile but couldn't.
Midoriya : ( Eri... )
Rex : ( The shadow of Chisaki is still there... Eri hasn't been saved yet at all... She still doesn't know anything fun or how to smile! There's got to be something that can make her smile... )
As Rex continues to think, Midoriya suddenly stands up from his seat and walks over to Aizawa.
Midoriya : Mr. Aizawa! Could Eri leave the hospital for just one day?
Aizawa : It's not impossible, but anyway, she's going to be—
Midoriya : Then can Eri come, too?
Aizawa : I see...
Midoriya : The school festival. Can Eri come, too?
Rex : That's a great idea!
Eri : School festival?
Mirio : Eri, this is a great idea! A school festival is a festival that takes place at our school. The people at school plan things for everyone at school to have fun, and they sell food— Oh apples! There might be candy apples!
Eri : Candy apples...?
Mirio : It's a type of candy where they make apples of all things— even sweeter!
Eri : Even sweeter...
Rex : *chuckles* You're drooling.
Rex grabs a tissue and uses it to wipe the drool from Eri's face while Aizawa takes out his phone to message the principal about taking Eri to the school festival.
Aizawa : All right, I'll talk it over with the principal.
Midoriya : In that case... *walks over to Eri* Eri what do you think?
Eri : I... thought... about the people who saved me... when I was saved... I thought about how I wanted to know more about everyone.
Mirio : I'll tell you more than you want to know! Let's work on the principal, too, to get him to say "yes"!
Rex & Midoriya : Right!
Mirio : I'm on break from school right now so I can stay with you the whole time on our date!
Eri : Date?
Mirio : An outing taken by a man and a woman who are intimate!
Eri : An outing taken by a man and a woman...
Rex : Togata, stop telling her those things...
The three U.A. students continue to talk with Eri about the school festival as they hoped that she would look forward to the event and that it would erase Chisaki's shadow and free her.
