Description- Billy shows up to your window and he's hardly recognizable

I was sitting on my bed trying to calm down before bed so I decided to read a book. I'm a real book worm so I have tons of books just laying around so when I want to calm down I grab a random book and start to read
I was about fifty pages into my book and I started to believe I made the mistake of reading a book I hadn't read yet because I've tried putting it down but every time I pick it back up and start again
I was about to put the book down for like the fourth time when there was a knock on the window
It was very unusual because nobody ever knocks on my window except for Billy and he usually calls first so I don't get scared
I put down the paper back book I was reading and picked up a hard back book. I slowly walked over to the window and as soon as I opened it I threw the book
"Ow! Son of a bitch that hurt!" It was Billy I could tell by his beautiful voice even when he's sad, distraught, angry, or hurt he's still got the most beautiful calming voice of an angel
"Billy?! I'm sorry it's just you usually call before coming over." I helped pull him through the window and he handed me the book and the first thing I noticed about him wasn't the fact he was drenched from the rain, or the fact his forehead was already bruising from the book. But I noticed his hair
"Billy, why is half of your hair gone?" Billy looked at me for a minute then burst into tears so I gave him a hug and comforted him
"Neil got into an argument with me and when I turned around he grabbed some scissors and cut my hair. For no damn reason!" I helped him sit down at my desk chair because he was still wet and I didn't want to get my bed wet
"Oh Billy. Do you want to tell me what the argument was about?" I tried to wipe away his tears but every time I wiped away a tear two more ran down his beautiful face
"Neil and Susan have been arguing like how him and my mom used to argue and I couldn't listen to it anymore. Max always just goes to the arcade when they start but I just stayed because I thought it would stop. They were arguing in the kitchen and I was in the living room so I went to call you and Neil took his attention off Susan and put it on me. I didn't want to deal with it so I started to leave and figured I'd call you on a pay phone or something and when I went to leave he picked up scissors and cut my hair." I raised my eyebrows and shook my head at him
"Billy, that is not normal. He can't cut your fucking hair because he didn't want you to leave the house." He nodded his head and I pulled him into another hug
I stood up and gave him a sad smile then I helped him stand up and I brought him to my mirror
"I know a good barber that could help you fix this." He looked down at me and gave me a kiss
"The thing is I liked it the way it was." I nodded my head and realized from comforting him I'm wet now
"Stay here I'll be right back." I went to the bathroom and got a couple towels for me and him
When I got back I handed him a towel then I opened my closet to get some new clothes
I always keep some of Billy's clothes over here incase if he needs to come over in an emergency because of his dad
I got me some clothes and we both changed clothes
"Billy, you can't go back there. You can't go back to a place where they think it's okay to have cutting hair as a punishment. Plus my parents love you and they already hate the fact you have to live there with Neil so what if I tell them what happened and you can stay here until me and you save up money for that apartment we've already got half of the money for." Billy still looked upset about the whole situation so I decided I would just drop it and go to sleep
~time skip~
I paced back and forth waiting for Billy to get back to the apartment
Billy didn't go anywhere for a week because he was embarrassed of his hair but all the money he got he put into gas and the money for the apartment
We've been in this apartment for a week and I was starting to feel he only did that stuff to put off getting rid of his hair but he knew it had to be done
I was just about to pick up the phone so I could call my mom and tell her I was worried but then the door opened
I smiled at Billy even though he looked like he'd been crying
"Billy, I love it. I mean you look like different but in a good way." His hair still had his curls on top but it was short on the sides
"You're just saying that to make me feel better." I shook my head and walked up to him while smiling
"No, I'm not lying to you it looks really good on you. I mean yeah I miss your mullet but maybe it was time for a change. I love your hair not as much as the mullet but I still love it. You look adorable." Billy rolled his eyes and when I looked at his eyes they were very red
"How long will it take for your hair to grow back?" Billy smiled and shook his head at me
"I don't know it took me a while to grow it I can't remember the last time other than today I got a haircut I mean yeah I went and got my split ends done but that's about it." I started laughing at him then I shook my head playfully
"Billy. There is no other male I've ever met that cares about split ends other than like Steve. I'm so shocked you two don't get along. You guys are like two nuts in a shell." Billy rolled his eyes at me then gave me a little peck on the lips
"Billy, in all seriousness though I really do like your hair and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better." He smiled down at me and this time when he gave me a kiss it wasn't a little peck it was full actual kiss
