Mama managed to calm Alexa down as the girl was shaking in Mama's arm still. Mama have to give her a really tight hug for it and still hugging her tightly
Alexa also manage to puke everything in her gut system
Luckily, there's no severe panic attack happening. Mama's presence helped a lot, she guesses (it does)
But Alexa's pounding head is on another level.
She didn't gasp for air, having her panic attack but she did stay weak on Mama's warm comforting embrace.
"Baby?" Mama soft and calming voice called out for her as she hummed in response
They are currently in the limousine that Robert rented for them.
Alexa just give Mama a weak hum in response
"Mushy, look at Mama for a second" Mama said as she pull Alexa away the embrace and cupped her cheeks as Mama heard Alexa grunt and whine
Alexa looks at Mama with her sad eyes. Sad, tired and in pain.
Mama of course recognised that look. She knows that look too well by just one look.
"What hurts you baby?" She asked worriedly as her eyes check over Alexa's body as the girl just whimpered in response going back to hide her face in the crook of Mama's neck
She sounds painfully young rather than her age making Mama's heart clenched at hearing that
"Lexie, sweetheart, you gotta tell us honey" Mimi said from her seat as she watch Mama helpless face trying to find what's hurting her daughter
Alexa just let out a sob as she tightened the hug she have on Mama with her eyes squeezed shut making Mama rub a comforting caress on her back
"We're going back to the penthouse alright?" Mama said mumbling as she have her lips pressed on Alexa's head, give her a gentle soft kisses
There's no way they'll go out after what just happened. Alexa and Axel are both not in a good place based on how Mama just witnessed it in under 30 minutes.
One is not being verbal other than whimpering, whining, crying and the other was basically another level of Hulk.
And so, the ladies went back to the Evans- Johansson penthouse.
The guys stayed behind, calming Axel down and went to settle the police report of what Corey did. Daddy insist to do because he'll fucking sue everyone that ever disrespect his kids.

A few hours later
Much likely after midnight that Axel and Daddy came back home and have everything done with the police report
Corey's parents have been alerted and, well, it makes sense why that boy is such a dick. His parents neglect him so much that they didn't even come to his play because they got a 'business' trip to go to.
Axel has been calming down so much, thanks to Brian and Noah who stayed by his side all the time. Daddy got the knuckle treated.
And he indeed has it fractured so he has to wear a splint for a few weeks.
When they got home to the penthouse, the ladies were all still there. They waited in the living room while Scarlett and Alexa are Alexa's room
The girl didn't speak at all, all the time. Mama just cuddles her in silence and holds her. To assure the girl that she's there. She's always gonna be there.
After a few hours, everyone decided to get to their hotel room and come tomorrow morning after their rest. They gonna need to rest
Both Axel and Chris see their family out and then went to Alexa's room
Mama was sitting up against the headboard with Alexa's head in Mama's lap, softly combing Alexa's dirty blonde hair.
Mama's attention snaps to the door opening and smiles sadly at her two important boys in her life and her eyes trail down to Axel's splint hand.
Daddy has already informed every minute and every details that had happened while they were parted ways
Mama patted the side of Alexa's bed for Axel to get in as Alexa was accommodating Mama's lap, she was staring off and wasn't even here.
Axel comply and instead of sitting up like Mama, he went on the other side, laying his head on Mama's lap as his head touches with his twins
Axel could feel his tears glistening as soon as their forehead touched. All of the emotional facade came upfront.
His hand went up to caress Alexa's face softly, tracing her features
"Pupu hurt?" Alexa asked quietly, for the first time in hours that she finally speaks
"Just a little bebe" Axel reply just as quiet as her as he continued his gentle ministration, tracing his finger on her features
Alexa responded as she tilted her head up a bit and made eye contact with Axel. She saw the tears in his eyes and she immediately covered his eyes with her hand. That's all it takes for her to understand everything about her twin brother.
That's what they always did together whenever one is about to cry. They don't want the other one to see the brokenness in their eyes but they can cry in front of them.
And that's what breaks Axel
That's what brought Axel tears burst out, the first time he sobbed.
The first time ever for the parents to hear that. Scarlett and Chris immediately have tears in their eyes as their hand finds each other for support as they hear Axel, their son, who always sees as the 'tough' guy even though both of the kids are tough but on the emotional side, they didn't expect Axel like this. They know he can cry, they know he's emotional too but to see him break down this easily means the things that happened really took a toll on him instead of him ignoring it.
Every sob that Axel let out, Alexa kept covering his eyes and her hand softly tracing his forehead in soothing manners.
Mama hands on Axel's back to comfort him too which makes Axel's sob get worse because all this while, they only have each other but now, Mama and Daddy are both here with them, witnessing their vulnerable moment.
"I'm sorry, bebe. I'm so sorry" He hiccuped brokenly as he brokenly sobbing
"Pupu, M' right here" Alexa mumbled in quietly and pressed her lips in Axel's forehead gently as her hand still firmly covering his eyes
"3 times, bebear"
"What happened, happened" Alexa replied brokenly
"I promise to protect you"
"And you did"
"Not enough bebear" He protested with his broken cries
"Don't do that. You can't keep me protected from every bad thing Pupu. There's always bad evolving around us. You can't read the future but you are doing such a great job at protecting me" Alexa said in her stern voice though there's a wavering in it too to make sure Axel know she meant it
"3 times bear" He whispered brokenly, still wanna argue about it
"And those 3 times you come save me" Alexa assured him "Though this last one, Daddy found me but you were there" Alexa acknowledged Daddy's effort. "And Mama was with me the whole time, didn't leave my sight at all"
She acknowledged everyone's effort and actions towards her. She acknowledged that she was loved by them and she was grateful for it.
"Forever my darlings. We'll always be there for you both forever" Mama said softly as she dropped soft kiss on each of the twins head
"Us and everyone. Us and everyone against the world" Daddy following pursuit with the action.
Alexa and Axel both nodded their heads in acknowledgement. They know that, they know they have a family now that will always support and love them no matter what
Even though it was a bit late, they were grateful nonetheless.
As long as the journey they're gonna have after this is together with them.
And as long as they are growing up with them now, that's all that matters.
And that night, the family of 4 slept together in Alexa's bed. Alexa next to Mama and Axel next to Daddy but both kids being in the middle of the bed, being protected by their parents body
Also, grateful to say, there were no nightmares that occurred that night. That's how great a simple presence can do to both kids.
