Cassandra POV.
( This will be the last chapter of the beginning of their relationship, The next one will start the plot and major storyline)
" To make this match fair tonight, let's see how well you do when the stakes are raised. See you tonight beautiful. - Bayley." I stared at the note as I didnt know what to do or how to act. I quickly threw my clothes and heels on as I ran out of the room and towards Charlotte's room. She opened the door quickly with a smile but it soon faded as she saw my face. I walked into her room and handed her the note as she read she covered her mouth quickly. " What do I do? I should of been the one to answer the door, im so fucking stupid char. This is all my fault." She quickly shook her head as she grabbed my hands. " Come on, let's go to the arena and see if we can find her. Bayley isn't that smart. We can talk about what happened in the car, okay, come on." I followed Char as we ran down stairs and to my rental. I noticed that Demi's rental was gone so they must have broken into her room or she had her keys on her. " Okay so what happened?" I looked as Char as I bit my lip trying to hide the blush that crept on my face. " No way, you two were having sex weren't you?" I nodded at her as I looked out the windshield. " Well, yes we were but then there was a knock on the door, she told me to stay in the bathroom as I wasnt decent to answer my door. Then there was a loud crash and I opened the door to find her gone and the note on the ground. Char this is all my fault I should never have gotten Demi involved and I should have just suspended Bayley , but I'm just like my father when it comes to disrespect outside of the ring. I feel so guilty, what if she really hurts her Char." We pulled into the area and we instantly saw Demis' truck out back. Running up to the truck to see that it was empty, and no sign of Demi. I pulled out my phone as I saw that I had that conference with my dad in 20 minutes. " Shit!" Char looked at me as I stared at my phone, running my hands through my hair. " I have a press conference with my dad in 20 minutes." She walks over to me as she grabs my arms. " Listen to me okay, Go to the conference with your dad, put on a fact smile and get it over with because once it's over with, you have a match right after, I'll walk ringside with you and I'll have back up in the gorilla if needed. While you do that I'll change and I'll look for her okay. I promise, everything is going to be okay." I trust Char and she will never let me down. I give her a hug as I run to the conference, as I enter my dad is waiting for me at the table. I see all of the interviewers and camera men. " Okay let's get started." My dad takes control over the conference for the majority of the time. As they were more geared to him and what he thought of everything that happened this weekend. As we neared the last two questions, they were geared to me. " So Cassandra, what is your relationship with the new women's champion? It seems like you two are pretty smitten with each other." I paused as I had to think how I should answer this in the right manner. " The relationship that I share with her is pretty great in all honesty. I'm not going to share anymore than that as I want to make sure that she is given the same amount of privacy and respect. But yes I guess you can say we've gotten really close lately." My dad smiles at me and the lady sits down as a gentleman stands and looks at me. " With you running creative now , do you think you're going to be the downfall of the nightmare?" I was shocked at the question as I took it personally. " My relationship with the nightmare is kept completely separate from my work life. She is an incredible wrestler who is still climbing the ladder but for how old she is and how many titles she has already held, she won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Rhea Ripley will be the most dominant female wrestler we will have. Give her a few years to grow. Now if you will please excuse me, Raw just started and I have a fight with Bayley. Have a great night and enjoy the show." I quickly got up as I walked out of the room and ran down to Charlotte's dressing room as she was walking out with me. I made it to her room as I knocked on her door hearing her yell come in. " You ready ?" I looked at her as she was dressed and ready to walk with me. As we both entered the Gorilla, I saw all of my girls waiting for us. I'm guessing Charlotte told them what was going on. I looked around to see if I could find any trace of Demi but I came up short. I was pissed , worried and feeling guilty about everything, but I swear to god to place one finger on Demi I'll ruin her.
I was given the que to walk out to the ring as they played my dads theme song, which caused a pop in the crowd. I smiled and waved as we walked out, high fiving a few fans in the process. I climbed into the ring as Charlotte handed me a mic. " Alright alright, I grew up in the wwe my whole life. The one thing that I live by is that no wrestler shall either fight, disrespect or try to injure another wrestler outside of this ring. I mean that sounds pretty fair right folks" The crowd agrees with me as they cheer my name. " So the issue that I'm having is that Bayley hasn't learned her lesson. I gave her a slap on the wrist last time. But when another wrestler has to wake me up at 7 am because of a fight, imma be a little pissed off. So here I am standing in the middle of the ring and I'm calling you out Bayley, I challenge you to an I Quit match right here right now. So get your ass out here." I paced the ring as I waited for her to walk out , I glanced over to Charlotte as she looked back over to me. Finally her music hits as she runs down the ramp with Sonya behind her. Charlotte runs after Sonya as she tackles her into the barrier. Bayley crawls through the ropes as I start to take off my suit jacket and heels, throwing them to the side. We circle each other for a moment before she makes the first move as I quickly duck my head but kick her in the back of her knees. She gets up before I come after her, wrapping my hands around her waist and throwing her across the ring. After about 30 minutes of us going after each other, we were both pretty battered up as she was able to get a few really good hits on me and then was able to strike me with a keto stick a couple of times. " Where is she, Bayley?" I know she is here somewhere." I screamed at her as I placed her in a headlock. " THIS IS MY BRUTALITY" The crowd roared with excitement as they thought that Demi was about to run out and help me. I threw Bayley to the side of the ring as I walked over to the ropes waiting for Demi to come out. But instead I saw Mercedes dragging her out by her hands. It looked like they did a number on her. I quickly slid out of the ring as I ran towards Demi. Just as I got close enough Bayley came from behind hitting me with a steel chair. I fell to my knees as she hit me again , and threw the chair to the side. She pushed me on the ground as I watched Mercedes hold Demis' face towards me. Her eyes fluttered open as she winced in pain, trying to cover her eyes. Bayley twisted my arm back locking me into a submission hold, I screamed in pain as I knew it would tear my shoulder out if she twisted it even more. Demi quickly realized what was going on once she heard me screaming in pain. " Let her go! You're gonna hurt her , Let her go!" Demi screamed at Bayley as she pulled my arm even more. " I'm the better option here Cassandra, look at me. I was able to once again take out your champion and the diamond girl, and look at how I got you. Say I quit and choose me and dump the goth girl and ill make it worth wild." I winced as she pulled tighter on my arm. " Fuck you Bayley, Youre done." I managed to throw her off my body but injured my shoulder in the process. I grabbed her by the back of the hair dragging her back to the ring as I grabbed a keto stick delivering blow after blow, I went to raise it again when I hear Bayley scream " I quit" I dropped the stick as I bent down next to her grabbing her collar. " If you want to fight outside of MY ring , then you fight me, you understand me. Also if you ever think about touching her again Bayley, I will ruin your life. Now get the hell out of my ring." I threw her against the mat as I crawled out, wiping the blood off my forehead and grabbing my jacket. As I walked back towards where Demi was, Charlotte close behind, Mercedes ran dropping Demi on the ground. I ran the last few steps to her as I dropped to my knees grabbing her face in my hands. She definitely will have a black eye for sure but she seems to look okay. I looked into her big blue eyes as a few tears fell down my face. I didn't hesitate on bringing her lips to mine not caring if people or my mother saw it. The crowd went insane as they cheered and chanted " This was Awesome." " Come on, let's get you backstage okay." Charlotte came over as she helped Demi up and wrapped her arm around Demi's waist helping her backstage. I held my shoulder as people swarmed us asking if we were okay and if I needed help. I told Charlotte to look after Demi as I needed to go to medical to have my shoulder looked at. I arrived at the medical where he told me that it was just out of socket and once they place it back in it will be good to go, and it will just be sore for a while. Having them place it back into the socket hurt like an absolute bitch and I would not recommend it to anyone. I walked back to Charlotte's dressing room, to find her and Demi standing and talking to each other. I walked in as Charlotte smiled at me, which then caused Demi to turn around and pick me up. " I was so worried about you, are you okay? Is your shoulder okay?" I just placed my face into her neck as I let out a sigh of relief, she wasn't injured and she was okay. " I'm so sorry Dems, I didn't mean for this to happen, I'm so sorry." She just held me tighter against her, not letting me go. She finally placed me down as she held my chin in her hands and gave me a quick kiss. " Why don't you two go back to the hotel and just decompress, I'm sure everything will be okay if you guys slip away." Charlotte walked over to us, handing me my phone as she kept my rental key so she could get back. I hugged her tightly , " Thank you char, I don't know what I would do with you here. I love you." I pulled back as she smiled at me, as Demi grabbed my hand to hold it. " You take care of her now, I'm serious Rhea . This girl is a one of a kind, and you should be lucky to have her." Charlotte scolded Demi slightly as Demi smiled down at me and then back to Charlotte. "You're right about one thing, Flair. I'm extremely lucky to have her." Demi waved goodbye to Charlotte as she pulled me towards the exit. I held her hand tightly while leaned against her , as I was really sore from the match. Demi saw as she let go of my hand and stood in front of me kneeling down slightly. " Jump on baby, I'll carry you the rest of the way." I was in no mood to argue with her as I jumped on her back as she carried me through the hallways. We made it to her truck as she let go of my leg to open the door for me, as she turned around and plopped me in the seat. She jumped in as she started her truck up, she looked at me with worried eyes. " You sure you're okay baby?" I turned to face her as my eyes watered. " Baby what's wrong? why are you crying?" I didn't say anything as I leaned over the center counsel as I pulled her face into mine, kissing her with pure desperation, like I needed it. She kissed me back almost instantly, like she needed it too. I pulled away from her as I placed my forehead on her chin. " Come on, let's get some take out and we'll just relax tonight okay." She grabbed my hand as she put her truck in to drive. We ended up getting Pizza for dinner and a few other things. We arrived back at the hotel as we went to her room instead. She opened the door, letting me walk in first and shutting the door behind me. I set the pizza down as she walked over to her suitcase pulling out a hoodie and a pair of shorts, handing them over to me. I smiled at her as she pulled out a pair of sweatpants for her change into, as she changed in the bathroom, I quickly changed into the hoodie not wanting to put the shorts on. I brought the pizza over to the bed as she was picking a movie out. I stared at her as I saw a few bruises form and then I saw the marks on her back from me. " Man, I really did a number on your back babe." She just rolled her eyes at me as she made her way back over to the bed as she of course picked a horror film. " Of course you pick a horror movie, cant watch anything normal, what a weirdo." She whipped her head over to me as she wiggled her eyebrows , shoving a slice of cheese pizza into her mouth.
This was honestly the greatest night I had in a while, no cameras, no planning, no stress. I love going out but honestly laying in bed with Demi was something Id rather do instead. " So we both fly back to our own homes, what does this mean for us right now?" She looked at me as she placed another slice on her plate, her eyes still watching the movie. " Well obvidoulsy wed be long distance for a while, but that doesnt mean we cant travel to each other or such. But were traveling alot so I mean well be able to see each other more. With my father knowing about us and us being public, im sure were going to be okay babe . I have no fears or hestiations with us." I looked up at her as i saw the smile creep up on her face. I leaned my head on her shoulder as she laid hers on top of mine as we both watched the movie.
We finished the pizza, as now were just watching Demis favorite anime show. I was laying on her chest playing on my phone , her hand was in my hair as she played with it. As I scrolled through twitter, I saw many people tagging Demi in the video from tonight. Saying how cinematic it was with her and I at the end. Many of her fans were hyping us up and making edits of everything that happened, I just laughed and liked a few. I placed my phone down as I rested my hand over Demis stomach tracing the sternum tattoo she has. I felt her hitch her breath as her skin twitched as I dragged my fingers over her skin. I smirked as I watched her reaction to me touching her, I ran my fingers down further as I traced it over the top of her waist line. Seeing her stomach flex as i heard her heart racing and her breathing getting heavier. I ran my hand back up her stomach as I stopped right below her chest as I watched it rise and fall deeply. I looked up at her to see her watching me with glint in her eyes as I pushed myself up towards her.
