Everyone stood in the house looking around where it was empty and Jeremiah ran upstairs
"Everything's gone."Jeremiah announced as everyone looked shocked while they noticed Julia
"What the fuck Julia!"Conrad and Drew yelled
"I'm sorry this must be such a shock I spoke to your father this afternoon and he and I decided that it would be best not to drag this out any longer than necessary."Julia began
"I don't give a shit about what the two of you decided on you had no right to touch anything in this house those were her things."Conrad argued
"Breathe man okay."Steven comforted
"Everything's in storage I made sure that everyone was very careful with every single thing I'm just doing what I have to do to sell this house."Julia defended
"Bullshit you could have said something you could have warned us."Drew scoffed
"All you want do is fight our mom constantly."Conrad argued
"Okay enough you're not the only one that's hurting here and I'm not the one you should be angry with your mother could have warned you that this was gonna happen she just wanted to make me the bad guy as usual."Julia sighed
"Are you fucking serious?"Drew yelled
"I'm so sorry that she was too busy dying to make your life a little easier you know it sucks that our grandfather loved her more than you but I'm not surprised."Conrad yelled as he walked off and everyone else followed
"Connie come on no Connie."Steven repeated as he began trying to call Adam
"Of course dad did nothing to stop her."Conrad scoffed
"Connie what can he do?"Jeremiah asked
"Jere he doesn't care about us! And this asshole won't even pick up my calls."Conrad yelled when he noticed Skye

"Would you have? Really? Because we haven't seen Eachother in ten years would a day at the boardwalk have been enough to make you betray your mom?"Conrad questioned
"Listen I know we don't know each other very well but i wouldn't have sideswiped you like this."Skye defended
"Connie come on what are we going to do?"Steven asked
"I don't know."Conrad sighed
"Okay we cant just leave all right the house isn't sold yet we still have a chance."Jeremiah encouraged
"A slim one I mean full disclosure mom's realtor is expecting multiple cash offers all over asking no contingencies,"Skye stated
"Thank you Skye for that bleak as fuck assesment also where are we going to sleep tonight?"Steven asked
"I think there are some sleeping bags in the garage."Belly spoke up
"I'm not sleeping in this house."Drew sighed
"Okay we don't have to All right?"Jeremiah reassured
"Okay well hotels are usually all hooked up around this time of year."Belly mentioned
"I feel like I should go and I'd totally invite you guys to come stay with me but it's a pretty small place so."Cam spoke up
"Yeah maybe we should go too."Taylor added
"Don't go yet I know a place we can crash for the night."Jeremiah announced as they began driving to the country club once they arrived they gathered at the front
"All right here we go."Jeremiah exclaimed as he got his keycard out
"What you kept that?"Steven asked the boy
"Perks of not cleaning out your wallet."Jeremiah smiled
"What if there's someone there?"Belly asked worried
"It's been closed for hours and there's never any night guards we're good."Jeremiah stated
"Okay."Belly sighed
"Shit."Jeremiah mumbled as the key card didn't work

"I understood that reference."Cam laughed
"Can you guys like not for just two seconds."Jeremiah sighed as he continued to try the keycard
"Okay there's got to be another way right?"Belly questioned
"We can try the pool gate."Jeremiah suggested
"Uh we could also use my moms key code."Cam also suggested
"Wait are you sure?"Belly asked the boy
"Yeah it's fine she's the manager at the restaurant here so-"Cam stated
"I mean wouldn't she get in trouble though if like someone checked the logs?"Skye questioned
"No no she works the randomest hours so that alone should raise any red flags so long as we don't make a mess like at all should be good."Cam explained
"They won't even know we're here thank you for not being on that whale boat Cam Cameron."Jeremiah smiled as he held the door open and everyone thanked him
"Hello?"Jeremiah called out as he switched on the lights
"So what do we do now?"Taylor asked
"Could we scavenge for food? I need something in my system other than sugar."Skye exclaimed
"Allow me to escort you to the kitchen."Cam responded as he began walking
"Actually wait can I come with you? I have really specific snack requirements."Taylor stated
"Uh uh Taylor no you're coming with me we'll fashion like blankets out of like curtains and some shit."Steven began before getting cut off
"No I'm on snack patrol right now."Taylor argued
"Okay So? I need your loudest voice to scare away all the murderers."Steven defended

"Okay fine no I mean as long as you're cool with like sleeping on like dusty polyester sheets."Steven smiled
"I hate you so much."Taylor scoffed in defeat as she walked off with Steven leaving Belly,Drew,Conrad and Jeremiah
"All right I think I know a place we could sleep uh you want you come?"Jeremiah questioned
"Think I'm gonna go with Cam and Skye actually."Conrad replied as he walked off
"Me too."Drew sighed
"I'll catch up with you later."Belly mumbled as she turned to face Drew
"Are you okay?"Belly asked the boy
"I never should have gone to the boardwalk,I should've listened to Conrad and stay home."Drew admitted
"This is not your fault Drew there was no way you could have known what Julia was planning."Belly reassured
"Maybe but she never would have done it if I'd stayed back with Conrad.They fucking took everything and you heard Skye the house is going to sell fast I can't lose the house it's all I have left of my mom."Drew sighed
"No no it's not over I mean we're gonna figure something out."Belly comforted the boy while Jeremiah watched from a distance

Jeremiah sat at the table when Conrad and Drew opened the door and came in
"What are you doing here? Don't you two have class?"Jeremiah asked his brothers
"Yeah class got cancelled thought we'd come see you and mom."Conrad smiled
"Did mom get the full size snickers for Halloween?"Drew asked the boy
"Mm hmm.You think mom's insurance is going to accept a sandwich bag full of receipts cause that's about all I got."Jeremiah sighed
"I'm sure it'll be fine if not we'll figure something out I'm going to visit mom Drew you coming."Conrad smiled
"I will in a minute."Drew replied as Conrad went up the stairs
"So how's you know senior year?"Drew asked
"It's fine I guess."Jeremiah mumbled
"Mom said you got homecoming king."Drew exclaimed
"Yeah I mean the coronation was basically preordained since freshman year."Jeremiah stated
"You take a date?"Drew questioned
"I went with Blake."Jeremiah responded
"Oh yeah that's cool."Drew smiled as he sat down and looked through the papers and the brothers sat in silence
"Are you seeing anyone?"Jeremiah spoke up
"You and I never really talked about what happened with Belly Jere what happened last summer was fucked up i didn't even know that you two had kissed until after I was just hoping that you could-"Drew began
"What? Give you my blessing? I Can't believe you came here like this you know what just do what you want you always do anyways."Jeremiah argued
"Jere I want to be with her and I really think that's what she wants too but she's afraid of hurting you Jere."Drew defended
"Oh is that right?"Jeremiah sighed
"Yeah and it's tearing her apart that you haven't responded to her texts since last summer."Drew stated
"Yeah well I've been busy."Jeremiah scoffed
"Jere I don't want you to hate us but I think about her all the time and it hurts my chest physically hurts to not be able to tell her that I'm in love with her."Drew admitted
"I'm not going to be the one to keep you guys apart so go for it."Jeremiah sighed
"Thank you."Drew smiled as he got up and went up to visit his mom

"All right you guys you can throw those Canapés on this cart and I don't think anything's gonna notice causes they always prep way too much food for deb season anyway."Cam announced as the brothers got a message from Jere

"I heard something crazy today you know that guy Liam Meyer that rich kid from the east side I heard he brought a Maserati and then crashed it two days later."Cam stated
"Rich people man."Drew laughed in disbelief
"Okay so I know the answer is likely daddy's money but um how did a kid afford a Maserati?"Skye questioned
"Yeah well that was a whole other thing because uh his grandparents had like this trust fund for him he got a judge to let him access it a couple of years early boom Maserati."Cam explained
"He got a judge involved?"Conrad questioned as he shared a look with Drew
"Yeah his parents were pissed."Cam responded
"Cam Cameron fountain of gossip I did not expect that side of you."Skye smiled
"You know I have layers."Cam mumbled
Drew,Conrad,Skye and Cam walked in to the screening room where Belly and Jeremiah were
"Whoa you guys weren't messing around!"Jeremiah grinned as he took the food off Cam's hands
"Yeah well just be careful."Cam sighed
"Oh I will I got it don't worry."Jeremiah reassured
"Hey have you heard from Taylor and Steven?"Belly questioned as they put the food down
"No I can go look for them."Drew suggested
"Ill come with you."Conrad and Jeremiah added
"Steve-o!"Jeremiah whistled
"Did you know Liam Meyer got a judge involved to help him access his trust?"Conrad questioned
"Boy I bet that turned out well."Jeremiah smiled
"Yeah but if a guy like that can do it so could we."Drew added
"Do what you two really want to like sue dad or something?"Jeremiah asked the two boys
"I don't know maybe he refuses to fight Aunt julia on this and I already told him I'm not giving up until I save this house."Conrad stated
"Hey atleast you know we're not alone it's kind of nice having everyone around you know it feels like old times."Jeremiah laughed
"I know."Conrad smiled
"It's good seeing you and Belly get along again I know she missed having you as a friend."Drew sighed

"Uh I'll go last how about that."Jeremiah smiled as thanksgiving progressed
"No he caught me he caught me putting sugar in his green juice."Susannah smiled
"Okay mom you're ruining my healthy recipes it is culinary blasphemy."Jeremiah laughed
"Not ruining,Enhancing."Susannah corrected
"Yeah like the moussaka?"Adam questioned
"Hey I still say it tastes better with little pieces of Hot Dog in it."Sussanah laughed
"Ooh Beck no if you're going to ruin a recipe ruin it with steak."Laurel stated as Belly dropped Drew's hand
"When Jere was little he made these amazing sandwiches and Conrad whose sandwich making skills were Pb and J at best he convinced Jere that crust made your hair curly."Susannah announced
"Oh dude that's right because you wanted straight hair."Steven laughed
"So Jere never touched his sandwiches and Conrad and Drew finished them off."Adam sighed
"Oh Devious."Belly laughed
"You got us back though remember when you peed in our lunchbox."Drew spoke up
"Oh yeah."Conrad laughed
"Yeah let's not talk about that."Jeremiah mumbled Soon after thanksgiving was over and Drew and Belly were laughing in a corner until Jeremiah came in
"Uh are you ready for board games?"Belly asked the boy
"I'm too full."Jeremiah sighed causing the girl to nod
"Belly come up here Beck found a bunch of 90s clothes she wants you to try on."Laurel announced Over the stairs
"I still haven't gotten through the last batch of Susannah's baby tees."Belly smiled
"I really don't know how I feel about you wearing my moms baby tees from college."Drew laughed as the girl smiled at him
"There's a lot of plaid and ratty oasis t shirts she stole from me!"Laurel yelled
"Don't listen to her this stuff is gold."Susannah laughed
"Steven and Conrad is setting up the wii in the other room if you want to play some games."Drew smiled
"Nah I'm going to call it a night."Jeremiah replied
"Okay."Drew mumbled
"Uh actually can I talk to you for a sec?"Jeremiah asked
"Yeah what's up?"Drew replied turning back around
"Next time Belly's coming over can you give me a heads up or something?"Jeremiah asked
"What do you mean? I thought you knew everybody was coming over."Drew exclaimed
"Yeah I did but if you guys are going to be here together then I don't want to be around."Jeremiah sighed
"Jere come on its thanksgiving of course we're-"Drew began
"No its better for everyone if we just keep some distance okay? You do your thing and I'll do mine,"Jeremiah cut off
"Sure if that's what you want."Drew sighed as he went up the stairs.

"Yeah."The two boys mumbled as they opened the door to see Steven and Taylor leaning in
"Oh my god."Taylor yelled pushing Steven away
"Oh im sorry I Hope we didn't interrupt anything."Jeremiah smiled
"I mean we obviously did."Drew laughed
"No you didn't interrupt anything."Taylor snapped
"Yeah uh we were just talking about you know the deb ball and um I figure I would just show Taylor some moves I mean they drilled them so deep into our heads they're pretty hard to forget right."Steven explained
"Yeah."The brothers said at the same time as Steven shut the music off
"Were you guys looking for something specific?"Taylor asked
"We were specifically looking for you.We found a place to sleep I've been texting you but."Jeremiah stated
"That's thats my fault just shoddy reception."Steven admitted
"Right."The brothers mumbled
They all made their way back to the screening room and they all watched a movie while Taylor was stabbing her apple and Steven was eating popcorn
"There's extra napkins if you need them."Cam offered as he passed them over to Steven
"I'll take one."Skye smiled as he passed more over
"Taylor that's gross."Belly spoke up
"No I saw a TikTok about this you just poke a couple holes so that the smoke is able to pass through and then you just-"Taylor explained
"Yeah but you can't just smoke random weed."Belly mumbled
"Belly it's not random weed it's lost and found rich people weed it's probably really good."Taylor stated

"All right why don't we take this outside before cam Cameron has a stroke?"Jeremiah laughed as they made their way outside the boys were on the golf cart with Conrad and Cam at the front,Jeremiah and Steven at the back and Drew on the roof holding on barely.

"Can you try and be a little quiet cause we're actually not even supposed to be out here."Cam sighed

"All right all right this thing is officially dead why don't we crash up there for the night?"Jeremiah announced

"Great start unpacking."Jeremiah smiled as everyone gathered around sitting down while Drew,Conrad,Cam and Jeremiah got the food

"Apple all over my leg."Taylor sighed

"Here honestly coming back to cousins.Fourth of July barbecues digging for clams surfing with Drew and Jere."Conrad listed
"Making pomegranate margaritas."Belly added
"Right Right I just feel like whatever kind of shit you got going on you just come back here you forget about it."Conrad stated
"Come on Man nobody's playing truth or dare right it's either you go big or you go home."Steven announced
"Agreed this needs to get way More euphoria."Taylor laughed
"Okay I'll give it a whirl Belly I dare you to uh kiss Jeremiah."Skye dared causing everyone to look around in silence and Conrad and Drew shared a look
"You know aren't we too old for that kind of shit?Right?"Jeremiah laughed as Belly looked down and Drew looked at her sadly before looking back down
"Yeah Cam you know the drill."Taylor smiled
"Yes truth please."Cam smiled back
"What's your biggest regret?"Taylor asked causing Cam to laugh
"I'd probably say um not spending enough time with my sister before she died."Cam admitted
"Whoa I'm sorry I didn't know."Taylor mumbled
"It's okay."Cam reassured
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."Belly spoke up
"It's okay it was ten years ago she was 16 um i was just a kid I really looked up to her and I still look up to her."Cam stated
"Does it get any easier?"Jeremiah asked
"Yeah it's always there you know but um the pain starts to feel more like a scar then it does a scab like sometimes something totally random thing will set you off like um a song she used to play for you or um little yellow tree air fresheners she had in her car and the pain just feels brand new again but um everything goes back to normal eventually whatever the hell that means."Cam explained
"Yeah the fuck if I know."Jeremiah sighed
"I'm sorry man."Conrad spoke up
"Yeah I'm really sorry man."Drew added
"No I'm sorry about your mom she was really cool."Cam apologized causing Taylor to yawn loudly and everyone laughing
"Sorry Taylor where did we lose you there?"Cam laughed
"Oh my gosh no you don't lost me at all,all right just like no I really love talking about mental health like you should look at my TikTok it's like 70% therapists I'm just like really fucking tired right now."Taylor yawned
"Yeah I guess it is getting kind of late."Jeremiah responded
"I uh I'll go get you some blankets."Steven smiled as he got up and the boys followed after short after mostly everyone was lying down while Conrad looked at lawyers for his trust fund and Belly went up to Jeremiah
Jeremiah got up when everyone else got up shortly after at the sound of Cam's mom
"What's going on here?"Cam's mom asked
"Mom hi I'm so sorry um they needed a place to stay because they lost their house."Cam stated
"Cam."His mom began
"Um I'll clean everything up I swear."Cam cut off
"No we'll all clean."Belly added
"Good and don't forget to return the cart."His mom smiled
"Yeah Yeah."Cam repeated everyone made their way back to the cars
"Still thinking about the whole Liam thing?"Jeremiah asked while approaching his brothers
"Texted him last night."Conrad stated
"Figured you might."Jeremiah mumbled
"He Told me how the whole thing went down um and he gave me the contacts for his estate lawyers."Conrad stated
"You gonna call?"Drew asked
"Jere you don't have to be a part of this."Conrad sighed
"What did I say? Just no more doing everything alone okay?"Jeremiah defended
"Well I sent him a email and told him the situation is urgent and I'm hoping that since I got the connect from Liam that they'll respond by tomorrow."Conrad explained
"Okay well as soon as they do we'll let Julia know that we got an offer that she can't refuse."Jeremiah smiled
"Yes let's get that bitch back."Drew cheered as Jeremiah and Conrad laughed and got in the car as they arrived they saw Julia at the front
"Wow look at who it is."Jeremiah announced
"Hi."The woman waved
"It's okay I'll handle it thank you very much."Julia smiled
"I'll be in touch?"The woman questioned
"Yes thank you oh I wish you boys had gone home when I asked you to."Julia sighed
"You're not getting us to abandon our house Julia."Conrad scoffed
"It's not your house Conrad and um it won't be mine for long either."Julia stated
"Julia please we have an idea okay?"Jeremiah pleaded
"A buyer has made an offer on the house and I've officially accepted it I have to go to Boston to finalize the details but um it's done the house is sold."Julia announced as the boys looked at eachother in defeat
