"Goodbye"
Rain's POV
I woke up.
Adjusting to my soroundings.
Where am I again?
Oh in P' Phayu's house.
In the guest room.
I stretched my body.
Get up and move a bit. Jump a few times.
Then wash my face. And mouth.
I am expecting to see p' Phayu in the kitchen cooking.
But no p' Phayu.
"Hello nong Rain" p' Saifah p' Phayu's cousin.
"Sawadee p'." I waiid at him. Hide my disappointment
And smile.
"Rain is a big busy. Asked me to babysit till he returns.
"Babysit?" I asked.
P' Saifah smiled looking at me.
"Your breakfast is prepared by Phayu. I'll be in the living room. Eat now." He said.
"Khabkhun na p.'" I said.
He smiled. He took his phone and cup of coffee with him.
I sit and open the food covers.
Sausage with melted cheese and squeezed with yellow mustard and hot sauce.
Stirred fried veggies.
I opened a bowl.
A single serving garlic rice with scrambled egg toppings.
"Oh I almost forgot" P' Saifah said and moved quickly.
He served me hot milk.
"Phayu asked me to serve you this warm." He said.
"Khabkhun na p' ." I waiid again.
He smiled and ruffled my hair then leave me alone.
I put a spoonful of rice and eggs.
My phone blinked.
I opened it as I chewed on the food.
Good you're awake.
Eat all your breakfast.
Be back soon.
I smiled at myself and looked around. Someone might be watching me.
I bite my lower lip and hide my excitement.
I eat up.
That sausage is rich with flavors and made me full.
I sit for a while.
Cuddling my stomach.
My phone blink.
I might come earlier
Shit!
I gathered all the plates and pletters.
Utensils.
Wash everything.
Even the pan and everything used in cooking.
"Rain you don't need to wash everything." P' Saifah said.
I just nodd at him and crack a shy smile.
I get his cup and wash it also.
He just shook his head.
"I am going back to the room na p'." I said.
He nodd at me.
And get back on his work.
I rushed to the guest room.
I am not good at cleaning bug at least at washing dishes I can.
Sometimes I sweep my room and arrange my things.
But when I am working on my project I let all my things scattered on my working table.
Speaking of work!
I ran to p' Phayu's working table
My plates are still there.
I get back from where I came from last night.
"He is on the working table in the study are." I heard p' Saifah.
Walking away.
Going down the stairs.
I ignored him.
I have two more plates to replenish, color and fix.
I finished one.
Stretched my body a bit.
Now the last one.
Permanent black marker on the lines and boundaries.
"This looks good but how good?"
I smiled and secretly side-eyed p' Phayu who stands beside me studying the last plate I made.
I bite my lower lip to hide the excitement I feel.
And back to work.
He is silently checking the plates.
"Okay." He said.
"Just okay?" I asked.
"I am not your professor. And I think what you did is okay. You are still a freshman You'll learn more." He said.
I just nod my head. Without looking at him.
"Are you not gonna ask me where I came from?" He asked.
I stopped my work and looked at him.
Shit!
My whole system breaks down and I am melting.
He looks damn like a demigod in his racing uniform.
I gulped to hide my adoration.
He moved closer to me.
"You came from a race?" I asked.
He smiled and nod his head.
"Did you win?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"Noone beats Prepai." He said.
I sulked.
He laughed.
"I don't know you're interested in racing" he said.
He placed his hands on my waist and pulled me closer.
"I am nug but you are in it you should leg me watch." I said.
"Rain" he said his face get closer forehead to forehead.
Shit!
He teases me so much.
These hugs.
Touches.
Just kiss me p'.
Please kiss me.
Damn he won't!
He is just teasing me.
I looked at his eyes. They are closed.
I moved my body.
He stood still.
I turned my back on him.
"I have to finish this" I said.
"In a rush. It's Saturday." He said.
He still holds my waist.
I wanna take it off.
But I don't want to be detached from him.
I wanted his touch.
"You're the one who told me. To finish what j can do today." I said.
He then move on my side.
One hand still on my waist. Like hugging me with one hand.
"The final plate." He said.
"Okay I'll leave you with this." He said.
"I'll check on it later." He whispered.
His breath gave me shivers.
But he moved away.
Back on my work.
Time passed again.
Without me noticing it.
"Rain lunch is ready." He said.
He stood beside me our shoulders pressed together. The space is wide but he chose to be too close.
And i am not against it.
"Almost done" he said.
"Let's eat first" he whispered in my ear.
I moved away a bit.
I put my pen down.
He moved and I followed him to the kitchen.
"Whe4 is p' Saifah?" I asked.
"He left when I returned." P' Phayu answered
Table is prepared for lunch
"I didn't cook. I ordered food." He confessed.
I smiled at him.
He just looked at me.
I am not a psychic but I know whe someone stares at me.
I looked up.
And meet his eyes.
"P' eat na" I said.
"Why you get more cute and adorable each day". He said softly.
"P' you're hungry." I said.
He wiped the side of my lips with his thumb and put in his mouth.
Shit why don't you just kiss me if you wanna taste it! My brain shouted.
"Let's eat after your work I'll send you home. But you'll use your car I'll use my bike." He said.
I nod my head.
After giving me all these feelings sending me home!
Without doing anything?
My heart cried for desperation.
"Don't sulk na. Mae asked me to send duou home after you finish your work." He said.
I nod my head.
After we eat he send me back to my work.
And I finished.
Why do I feel like I am saying goodbye to the place as I roll the plates and put it in their case.
Why do I feel like saying goodbye yo the guest room.
All my things are beside me inside the car.
Driving home
Following the bike before me.
P' Phayu.
Mae opened the door and gate for us
I went to my room.
Mae and p' Phayu talked for a while. Then p' Phayu came to mg room.
"I am nof gonna bring you to my home anymore na." He said.
"I won't force you to come with me to garage also."
He said.
"You have made big improvements. You don't need a tutor anymore." He said.
"Bug if you need help. Message me please." He said.
He kisses my forehead.
"Good bye Rain". He said.
I am shocked
Stunned and glued sitting on mg bed.
