Please enjoy this poem before we get started;

She was the Moon
He was her Sun
As the world marvelled
At her serene beauty
She looked at him
With the dearest love
She knew he was far
She could never reach him
She could never touch him
But she saw him smile
She saw him laugh
And that was enough
To make her shine

Danke! Have a good read <33

His hands roam her body as the blonde is pushed back in the bed, breathless as the man kissed down her neck. Nothing but the sounds of their breath could be heard throughout the large studio.

"Cut!" The crew called, and Lizzie sighed in relief. That was her last scene for the day and all she wanted to do was sleep. Lizzie checked her phone and smiled at a message Stella sent her of both her and Alley smiling widely. The blonde felt her stomach rumble as she made her way to her trailer in the darkness sounding her. Just a week more, then she will be able to see the angel she calls her own.

Falling into a world of her fantasy, Lizzie stared up at the ceiling as she lay in bed on her back. She never felt so alone as before. Never so... emotionally vulnerable.

The night was silent as Lizzie drifted off to sleep, her eyes heavy and dark as she didn't bother to fight the exhaustion taking over her.

One Week Later

"Elizabeth Olsen was spotted in Austin, Texas earlier this week. Where fans-" Lizzie turned off the tv, placing a black cap over her messy bun as she wrapped a coat around her shoulders. The blonde rolled her suitcase out of her hotel after turning all the lights off, making her way down to the car waiting for her downstairs.

The woman was swapped at the airport after flying into Washington. She was in the first for just under 3 hours, excited to see Stella again. Lizzie hid her face as cameras followed her through the airport, asking questions and shoving posters in her face in hopes of a signature. The blonde always stopped for fans, but these men only wanted to make a profit off of her so she didn't pay them any attention.

"Thank you, Ashley," A man called out and the blonde turned around, eyeing the short middle-aged man.

"That's not my name," She chuckled, continuing to walk through the carpark. A car was waiting for her, providing her with a quick escape as she began the short drive home. It was just before dinner and Lizzie didn't manage to eat lunch before she left, so inevitably her stomach rumbled loudly, surviving on nothing but a coffee in the morning.

Stella hurried around the kitchen, diligently tidying up the last remnants of the week-long mess she had left behind. Her girlfriend was due back home, and she aimed to have the house immaculate for her arrival. Stella's face was expertly covered with makeup, concealing the pronounced bags under her eyes. Recent nights had been restless, weighed down by an overwhelming sense of guilt.

A faint click reverberated through the house, causing Stella to freeze in place. She heard the door swing open just as she placed the final plate in the cupboard. Perfect timing.

"Hey, I'm back!" Lizzie's voice called out, as she shed her coat and hung it on the rack. Stella emerged from the kitchen with a warm smile, immediately enveloping Lizzie in a tight embrace.

"I've missed you so much!" Stella exhaled, gazing into Lizzie's green eyes and the unexpected transformation in her appearance. "You've cut your hair!" Stella exclaimed in surprise, running her fingers through the new short blonde locks.

"It was for a role, and I kinda like it. What do you think?" Lizzie explained, kicking off her low-heeled boots to bring them closer in height.

"It's nice, just caught me off guard. But I like it," Stella affirmed, sensing Lizzie's assessing gaze. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, I just didn't realize how much I'd miss you," Lizzie smiled affectionately, tucking a loose strand of Stella's hair behind her ear. "I love you so much." Lizzie leaned in for a kiss, which Stella hesitated to accept. She gently placed her hand on Lizzie's chest, requesting a pause.

"Actually, there's something we need to talk about first," Stella admitted with shyness, watching as Lizzie raised an eyebrow curiously. Lizzie shifted her weight slightly, leaning against a surface.

"What's the matter? Did you accidentally burn down the kitchen? Did the dog make a mess?" Lizzie quipped, attempting to lighten the mood as she surveyed the surroundings. Stella hurried after her, grasping Lizzie's arm to draw her back.

"Don't worry, the house is fine. The dog's outside," Stella assured, meeting Lizzie's suspicious gaze.

"Alright, spill it, Peryl," Lizzie demanded playfully, and Stella's demeanor deflated. She sighed and took a seat on the kitchen island.

"I did something I'm not proud of," Stella began, her voice carrying a note of remorse. Lizzie's expression shifted to one of concern. "Vicky came by and she confessed that... she had feelings for me." Stella paused, awaiting a reaction. Lizzie looked perplexed.

"Yeah? Vicky's your best friend. It would be strange if she didn't care about you," Lizzie shrugged.

"No, it's more than that. She meant it romantically. She's had feelings for me for years, but she never said anything," Stella's voice trembled as her confidence wavered. Lizzie let out a short ironic laugh, her expression turning serious as a hint of anger surfaced. There had been a sense of unease about Vicky since the beginning, Lizzie thought.

"Why would she say that when she knew that you and I were a thing now?" Lizzie took a step closer, resting her hands on the counter on either side of Stella. Her tone was measured, neither angry nor accepting, just neutral. Stella felt a sense of shrinking, as if she were facing Lizzie's unspoken displeasure. Stella frowned, hating how the way Lizzie was staring at her so intensely, almost if she could read her mind.

"I don't know, Lizzie?" Stella pleaded, unable to tear her gaze away from Lizzie's intense green eyes. Lizzie sighed, dropping her demeanour and nodded.

"I don't need the details. Whatever happened, I trust you enough to believe that nothing will happen between you two," Lizzie straightened up, stepping between Stella's legs. "Just promise me you'll always be mine, baby girl," Lizzie whispered with a small playful smirk on her lips, her hands moving up Stella's thighs to rest on her waist.

"I promise," Stella nodded, and a kiss ensued as Lizzie's lips met hers. Stella felt conflicted, wrestling with a sense of guilt. Was it her fault? She had attempted honesty, but it hadn't gone well. Did she truly deserve Lizzie? Was it self-serving to tell her, or would it be selfish not to? Keeping the truth from Lizzie might spare her pain, but could Stella bear the weight of the unspoken truth?

Stella chose to keep her silence, letting the blonde deepen the kiss. It seemed simpler this way. Stella surrendered to the fervent kiss, her inner turmoil momentarily silenced by the connection with Lizzie. As their lips moulded together, she found a semblance of solace in the embrace, even though the unspoken truth lingered heavily in the air between them. The intensity of the moment masked the internal struggle she was grappling with.

Their kiss deepened, reflecting both love and a subtle undercurrent of uncertainty. Stella's heart raced, torn between the relief of the present moment and the weight of the confession she had yet to share. With each passing second, her internal conflict grew, becoming an inseparable part of the kiss itself.

As they reluctantly pulled away, their breaths mingling in the intimate space between them, Stella felt a mixture of emotions surging within her. Lizzie's gaze held a mixture of affection and questioning, searching for any signs that Stella might be hiding something. Stella met her gaze, her own eyes a mixture of vulnerability and determination.

A puppy ran into the room, distracting the blonde as Luna barked at the unfamiliar stranger standing over her owner.

"Luna! It's okay, schatz," Stella leaned down to pick the small husky up, kissing Lina's head softly as she sat comfortably in the brunette's arms. "Meet your other Mama, Lizzie."

Lizzie's green eyes snapped up in surprise at Stella's words, the brunette offered her a small smile before shifting Luna into the blonde's arms. "Oh hi puppy! It's nice to meet you," the blonde couldn't help but scrunch her face up into a smile as Luna sniffed her face curiously.

Stella awed as the puppy licked Lizzie's nose, "she likes you."

"She's so perfect," the blonde chuckled, putting Luna down as she watched the puppy run off to pick up a toy in her mouth that was on the floor.

"I think I might go shower, I'm all sweaty from cleaning," Stella decided and Lizzie nodded in understanding, it could get pretty hot sometimes out here.

"Well I also wanted to say that I'm planning on moving back to LA by the end of the year, so I wanted to ask if it was okay for you to come with me then?" Lizzie asked before the brunette left, placing her phone and keys on the kitchen counter.

"Oh yeah sure, I'm fine with wherever," the brunette shrugged, nodding before she made her way upstairs.

Lizzie unzipped her heeled boots and sighed in relief as her feet were finally free of their painful prison. Her phone dinged and she saw a message from one of her friends telling her to continue her gardening videos on Instagram. The blonde was uncertain as to do them or not, but 3 of her friends said the same thing.

Lizzie hummed to herself as she loaded up Instagram, pressing the record button. "Hiya, I just got back from travelling and my garden has been kinda neglected for the past few weeks. So let's go see who is still standing," The woman opened the sliding doors out to the pool, walking around the house to her garden beds.

With a phone in her hand and a sunny smile on her face, Lizzie's enthusiasm for her garden was contagious. The camera captured the vibrant colors of blooming flowers and the lush greenery that had managed to thrive despite her absence.

As she strolled through the rows of plants, her fingers brushed against leaves, and she described each of them like old friends. "Look at you, my little kale warriors! You've managed to stand tall even without my constant chatter. And the tomatoes, they've got some real tenacity going on."

She knelt by a particularly healthy tomato plant, adjusting a drooping branch. "But even warriors need a little grooming sometimes," she chuckled, her fingers delicately pruning the plant back to health.

Then, a playful gasp escaped her lips as she spotted a small spider making its home among the leaves. "Oh no, look who's taken up residence!" Her tone shifted from delighted to mildly startled. She watched the spider, her expression comically conflicted.

She debated with herself, considering the ecosystem she had cultivated, before letting out an exaggerated sigh. "Alright, Mr. Spider, you can have this leaf for now. But no funny business, okay? I'm watching you," she pointed at the spider, feigning a stern expression. Stella walked into the kitchen with wet hair falling down her back, with nothing but some bike shorts and a sports bra on to try and keep herself cool in the heatwave. "Babe! Can you come and kill a spider for me?" Lizzie asked and she cut the video before the brunette could answer.

"A spider? Gods no. Hit it with your shoe or something," Stella chuckled, sliding the door open and joining the blonde outside.

"Please? I have arachnophobia," The blonde begged and Stella gave in.

"Fine fine, show me where he is," The brunette nodded and Lizzie pointed to a leaf. The blonde started recording the spider as Stella put her hand under it, getting it to climb onto her palm.

"Ew, ew, ew! What if it bites you?" Lizzie freaked out and Stella laughed at her, playfully holding the harmless house spider closer to the blonde. Lizzie squealed and jumped back, making sure not to film Stella's face only the spider and her body. But as the spider moved in its own tiny world, Lizzie's face crinkled into a blend of intrigue and wariness. Her voice turned a bit hesitant, "You know what, I'm all for nature and everything, but I also value my peaceful sleep..."

"It's harmless, baby, don't worry," The German teased, carefully putting the spider down on the floor out of the way. "Is that all you need?"

"Yes, thank you," Lizzie smiling kindly at the brunette before going back to her gardening.

Her gaze shifted to the ground where she noticed a small slug on a plant. "And you, Mr. Slug, you need to find another snack spot. I appreciate your enthusiasm for gardening, but you've got to share."

With a triumphant grin, she plucked the slug off the plant and placed it carefully onto the ground, away from her beloved garden beds.

Back to her sprightly self, Lizzie continued her tour, offering gardening tips and sharing snippets of her travel adventures as she worked. The camera caught her infectious excitement as she misted her plants and patted the soil around their roots.

"Remember, it's all about balance in the garden, just like in life," she spoke into the camera, her eyes alight with the joy of nurturing and tending to her little patch of nature.

As she wrapped up the video, the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow over her garden. Lizzie turned off the camera and sighed contentedly, taking in the sight of her revitalized garden, insects and all. With a final glance at the garden beds, she headed back inside, leaving behind a small world that thrived under her care and shared delight.

Lizzie saw Stella laying on the couch when she got in, watching her Instagram stories already. "I love these, you should definitely do it more often," the brunette called and Lizzie smiled to herself as she took her sandles off at the door.

"And you should wear no shirt more often," The blonde countered and Stella giggled to herself, continuing to watch her phone. Lizzie came to sit with her, lifting the brunette's legs and placing them on her lap. "What do you want for dinner?"

"Whatever's fine," Stella hummed, and Lizzie nodded.

"Pasta?" The blonde suggested.

"No,"

"Pizza?" Lizzie sighed.

"No,"

"Burgers?" She offered again.

"No,"

"Salad?" Lizzie tried to keep her patience.

"Hm... no,"

"Whatever's fine," Lizzie repeated in a mocking tone, rolling her eyes as she reached for the remote to turn the tv on. Stella laughed at her funny voice and continued to scroll through Instagram and tik tok on her phone.

As the TV screen flickered to life, Lizzie settled onto the couch with Stella snuggled beside her. The atmosphere was relaxed, the room bathed in the gentle glow of the television. Lizzie absentmindedly flipped through channels, not really focused on what was playing, as her attention drifted back to her phone.

Stella, still engrossed in her phone, finally looked up and noticed Lizzie's expression. "What's got you so distracted, huh?"

Lizzie blinked, a blush tinging her cheeks. "Oh, nothing, just..." She hesitated, her fingers swiping at the screen. "I'm curious about the reaction to my garden videos. I've been getting so many comments."

Stella leaned over and peered at the phone screen, her eyes widening with mischief. "Oh, you mean everyone loving the garden and asking about the mystery shirtless girl who rescues you from the spiders?"

Lizzie's face turned a shade redder. "That's not a thing!" She tried to sound indignant, but her smile betrayed her.

Stella grinned, nudging Lizzie playfully. "Sure, sure, just let them believe that. It's cute how you have become the star of your own mini gardening show."

Lizzie nudged Stella back, laughing. "Okay, maybe there's a little truth to that. But it's just me being silly and overreacting to spiders. And besides, I do not look cute when I'm freaking out about a spider."

Stella leaned her head on Lizzie's shoulder, her laughter infectious. "You're cute all the time, Lizzie. Spiders or no spiders."

Lizzie playfully rolled her eyes, wrapping an arm around Stella's shoulder. "You're just saying that."

Stella looked up at her, her eyes warm. "Nope, I mean it. And, for the record, the whole spider-saving thing I did for you was pretty adorable too."

"Wow don't you just love yourself today?" Lizzie couldn't help but smile at Stella's words.

"I love myself everyday," Stella chuckled playfully and Lizzie rolled her eyes. Their fingers intertwined, and they settled into the comfort of each other's company. The TV murmured in the background, but their focus was on each other and the playful teasing that had become a hallmark of their relationship.

Hours passed in a comfortable haze, and the room grew darker as the evening deepened. With a contented sigh, Lizzie shifted on the couch, stretching out her legs and pulling Stella a little closer.

Stella yawned and snuggled even closer, her head resting on Lizzie's chest. "I don't think I can move now. I'm officially couch-glued."

Lizzie chuckled, tracing patterns on Stella's arm. "That's fine by me. We can be couch potatoes together."

And so they remained, cocooned in each other's embrace, the TV's gentle glow illuminating their shared space. As the night wore on, they drifted into a comfortable silence, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other's presence.

With every passing moment, their bond grew stronger, and their laughter echoed through the room, a harmonious melody of love and friendship that no TV show could ever match.
