This story is about german empire, not reichtangle (for those people who thinks they are the same) So no rectangle head (or you can just imagine that he has the rectangle head)

German Empire POV:
It was early in the morning, with my hands behind my back, I went trough the hallways with the intention of going to my office and do my daily things, but while I was walking I saw Y/N, my hardworking assistant going to her office as well.
She did a really good job in the paperwork and it saves me a lot of time-
Suddenly while I was thinking I accidentally bumped into her and I made her papers fall, we both panicked and quickly went to grab the papers.
"German Empire! I'm very sorry I didn't mean to..-" I could feel her fear..
"Do not worry, it's my fault"
As soon as I said that, she looked shocked, I looked at her in the eyes and saw her light pink blush..I quickly looked away and continued picking up the papers, feeling my cheeks slightly heat up.
As soon as I picked the remaining papers I could find, I handed it to Y/N, she thanked me and I left..now going to my office like I originally intended, noticing that I walked faster than usual.
I closed the door and went to touch my cheek, I felt the heat...It was strange, my cheeks never get heated unless I drink alcohol. I then thought about what I said earlier, why did I say that anyways.
I then tried to forget about it, sighing and then going to sit in my chair, looking what I had on top of my desk.
My finished papers and my cup of coffee, nothing else, nothing new to do, so I decided to have a look at my army and give them some motivation.
[TIME SKIP]
It was at night, I, again was going through the hallways and saw Y/N, holding some papers. I looked away and kept my distance away from her, I didn't want to feel that strange feeling again.
She looked at me, but I didn't look back, I ignored her, and she seemed to have ignored me back.
I went to my office and saw a pile of papers in my table, I went to see if they were done and surprisingly they were, and the handwriting seemed to be from Y/N, I didn't have anything to do again, so I went to the small kitchen to prepare some hot water with honey with my usual mug.
I took my newspaper and sitting in the sofa near the fireplace, I read the newspaper while drinking my hot water with honey. The fire warmed the room and my water with honey warmed my stomach.
Suddenly a thought of Y/N came out from my head, making me stop reading the newspaper and visualise her face. I quickly snapped and tried to get rid of the thought of her, taking another sip of my hot drink and then trying to focus on my newspaper.
Then another thought came out of my head, I missed her....
'Why am I thinking about her?'
'It's been 1 hour and I seem to miss her'
'What is happening to me'
Some time passed and I saw her again in the hallways, but this time when I looked at her I noticed that she had bags and dark circles under her eyes. I got worried but didn't show it.
"guten morgen Y/N"
"guten morgen Deutsches Reich" She then responded and quickly left.
"Strange..."
I left too, but I felt a pain in my chest, having the thought that she was avoiding me. I yet tried to ignore those feelings and thoughts, maybe if I did my normal things I would forget about it..
I hosted a meeting for my future plans, where I talked about future invasions and things I wanted to add and change to the government, thinking that that would take the constant thoughts of her off my head and focus in my work.
Luckily, I managed to pass the afternoon without thinking about her, I went to my office and saw a pile of papers, I went to see if they were done and again, they were all one by Y/N, she sure worked a lot.
I wanted to check on her, and maybe thank her for everything. It was at night, I went to peek in her office and I saw her, writing something having bags under her eyes. I got worried about her, she was overworking and needed a break.
Y/N POV:
I've been working a lot these days, doing the paperwork and much more, there were so many things to do that it stressed me a lot and to take all the stress out I needed to finish it as soon as possible.
"Y/N?...." As soon as German Empire said that, I quickly snapped and looked at him.
"Oh!- Guten abend Sir" I then said, feeling a little scared.
"You need a break, you're overworking"
"I still didn't finish with the paperwork and I need to finish it before I allow myself to take a break"
"There is plenty of time, a break won't hurt"
"No need to worry sir"
"Y/N...come with me" He said with a calm but demanding tone.
I nodded, standing up and then following him. He lead me to a quiet room with a fireplace, he told me to sit in the sofa near the fireplace and then gave me a mug with some drink inside...
I looked at the mug, was this the mug where German Empire always drink? everyone knows this specific mug is from him and no one dared to use it.
"German Empire?"
"Yes?"
"Isn't this your mug?"
"yeah, I could not find another one"
"Oh, alright. By the way, what drink did you make?"
"hot water with honey" He then took out his newspaper and opened it.
"Alright.." I gently blew and then took a sip of it, the drink was warm and sweet, warming my stomach.
It felt awkward, German Empire seemed to be avoiding me by putting the newspaper in front of me, I looked away and took a sip of the drink, I didn't want to get him mad or annoyed.
I looked at the fireplace while drinking my drink slowly, as I tried to distract and entertain myself a little.
I suddenly noticed him looking at me, I turned around but as soon as I turned around he stopped looking at me, all of this looked strange.
"Y/N, how are you? do you feel better?"
"Yeah, a bit better now, thanks for asking"
"No problem..tho, I think i got to tell you something it has been happening to me lately"
"Sure! you can tell me anything"
"there is a strange feeling that it only happens only when i am with you.."
I thought it for a second, ooh, that's why he avoided me "Can you tell me more?" I then said.
"Well, my face gets heated and my heart starts beating fast, it is like if i was drunk and scared at the same time"
"So this only happens when you are with me, am I right?"
"Correct" I noticed his slight blush in his face.
"Oh, I think I know what is happening here"
He quickly turned to look at me, curious "Tell me" He then said, looking at me up to down for a second.
"You seem to be in love with me"
"What.." He wasn't believing this."This is not possible"
"Based in what you said to me, that is what I think"
"Me? In love? I have a lot of duties and I don't have time for love"
I felt sad and somehow I felt a pain in my chest when I heard that, but remained calm. "That's fine.."
"How do I take out this feeling of 'love'?"
"Well, I don't know, you should follow what your heart desires"
"Are you sure about this?"
"mhm" I nodded.
"Put my mug down, alright?"
"Alright" I then placed the mug on the table.
"Now, close your eyes, and don't do anything"
"Alright then.."
I closed my eyes, and then, I felt some soft lips touch mine, kissing my bottom lip asking for entrance. I then allowed him, opening slightly my mouth and then felt him starting to kiss me gently. I kissed him back, and he was happy.
After some time, he pulled away, breathing heavily and eyes locked at mine's. He slightly smiled and then went to kiss my forehead.
"This is what my heart desires.."
