Ashton's pov:
I waited in my room for what seemed like forever Xavier said he'd be here soon and to make sure the lights in my house were not too bright. I don't know what he's up to but I don't like it.
After what seemed like 20 min I heard the front door unlocking I got up and walked to it Xavier came in holding a sleeping boy wrapped in a blanket. I looked at Xavier and at the boy again.
"Here me out I know we're the mafia and you're the mafia boss and you've taken a break from mafia shit but he needs a home and I don't trust anyone but you, I found him with the bloodhounds and the things they do to him are indescribable, all I know is he's 19 he's mute and has hearing loss and wears hearing aids he's scared of the dark too" he finished rambling.
He's gone crazy, no he's gone stupid he's lost his mind. "Take him back I'm tired of fighting we have a new shipment this month worth 30 billion and I need to focus on that and not get myself in a stupid position with the bloodhounds" I told him sternly.
"Ash please, he looks so helpless just keep him here for 5 days and I'll take him then I promise just lay low untill I find him a safe house come on man we're the biggest mafia in the world" he pleaded I looked him dead in the eyes Xavier has had my back since the day we were born 27 years we've been best friends.
"Fuck you, 5 days if he's not out this house then I'll take him to the bloodhounds myself. Now get out of my house" I said threw gritted teeth. Xavier smiled and fist bumped me and left closing the door behind him.
I removed the blanket slightly from his face to get a better look at him. He's adorable, he's sleeping so peacefully, there was a huge bruise on his neck. Picking him up I took him to my bedroom and laid him on my bed I wasn't about to let him sleep on his own bed and wake up frightened.
Laying down beside him I took in his features he was Asian he had a tiny nose and small pink lips, I don't know where xav found him but the boy he's adorable. I put a pillow between us and turned my back towards him.
Opening the drawer I got out my gun made sure it was loaded and laid it under my pillow.
