After that very moment, her eye then caught something on the Flareon's leg that got her attention. She knelt down next to the Pokémon and used one hand to move some of its fur on its back leg.

"That must be one of the Bug-types the Pokédex was talking about!" Domino shouted, still focused on the bug.

Do all the people here speak this way or is it just the one I ended up with? Wilfride couldn't help but think.

Domino lifted the Pokédex scanned the Pokémon. "Caterpie the Worm Pokémon. Caterpie uses the suction cups on its feet to climb trees and feed on its favorite leaves. It's easy to catch, and it grows quickly, making it one of the top choices for beginning Pokémon Trainers. "

"It looks a little different from the picture on the Pokédex." Domnio looked at the green Caterpie picture and back to the orange worm in front of them. "Ah, who cares? Let's get it." Domnio whirled around to see her inspecting the Flareon.

Her arms lowered in disappointment, like she was expecting her to happy or something.

"Wilfride, should I be concerned with what you are doing?"

"This thing...has been branded..."

Domino's eyes widened and she came around her and peered down to see a large "R" on the side of its leg.

"Is this normal here?" Wilfride asked, growing more irritated with this place.

Domino hesitated. "I don't think that's a good thing. Even here."

"Now, we know why this thing is a coward."

A heaviness came over as she eyed the creature who beamed at her with so much love. Whoever this things previous owner was, they ruined it.

Wilfride's gaze then shifted to the Caterpie. "Don't you want to catch that thing?"

Domino's eyes widened. "Oh, yeah!" Domino looked down at the Pichu. "Alright, little man. Use your-" Pichu got excited and jumped out from behind a bush, preparing to zap Caterpie with an attack. "No, wait! I didn't say go—!" Grabbing Pichu to stop him, Domnio got hit with a particularly powerful Shock Wave.

Flareon and Wilfride cringed watching the flashes.

Caterpie cried out and used String Shot. Pichu dodged the attack by jumping out of Domnio's arms. The sticky web instead wrapped around her body, pinning her arms down.

"Hey. That wasn't nice," Domino stated.

Pichu looked at and was shocked she got hit.

"Don't just stand there," Wilfride said to it. "Try another one!"

A second Shock Wave stunned Caterpie, long enough for Wilfride to bend down, grab a ball from Domino's bag and tossed the ball at the Caterpie onto the ground. The ball pulled Caterpie inside and started rattling. They heard a click as the red light on the Poké Ball faded away. "Did we do it?" Domino asked, looking up still bonded.

"Apparently," Wilfride said with no emotion, walking over and retrieving the Poké Ball. She walked back and used one of her Ice daggers to cut the web off of Domino then handed her the ball.

"Wait." Domnio said. "You caught this. It's yours."

Wilfride lifted her eyebrows at her. "I told you. I don't want one." She gestured to Flareon who was sniffing another flower. "It's bad enough this one keeps following me, and unless that thing shoots water, your still not able to beat the one guy were approaching."

"This is the first step on my way to becomingthe Pokémon World Champion!" Domino said.

"You caught a bug." Wilfridecrossed her arms. "And doeseveryone sound that way?"

Suddenly, they heard wings above their heads. A bird Pokémon swooped down to the ground. It pecked at its feathers before investigating the grass for its breakfast. "Who's that Pokémon?"

Wilfride groaned. "Please, stop with the cheesy dialogue,"

The Pokédex replied, "Pidgeotto the Bird Pokémon, and the evolved form of Pidgey. Pidgeotto is armed with sharp claws and dives from the sky to capture its prey. Unlike the more gentle Pidgey, this bird Pokémon can be dangerous. Approach with caution. "

"Nice! Why catch a Pidgey when I can get a Pidgeotto? Let's get it!" Domino said. "And this time I am going to do it."

Wilfride shrugged. She didn't want to do it the first time.

Pichu once again leaped ahead before Domino could say anything and towards Pidgeotto with Tackle. "Wait Careful!" It ignored her completely, knocking Pidgeotto into a tree, and then seemed to cheer. "Good job, but you have to come back before it gets worse!" Pichu looked confused and slightly worried.

Pidgeotto looked at Pichu and drooled. It flew up high and then dived, making its wings glow. "It's coming in with Wing Attack! Protect yourself with...!" Pichu shot out what Domnio called Spark.

The bird however, gave a squawk and flew away.

Domino's face just fell. "It flew away?!"

"Well, I would too if you tried to electrocute me," Wilfride replied. "And what happened to only getting Water types?"

"Oh, yeah," Domino said with a guilty smile. "Guess I get carried away."

"Yeah, so far we have a mouse that doesn't listen, a cowardice fox, and a caterpillar." Wilfride pointed out. "I'm not a genius but our odds are not looking to good."

"We just need to make a plan of attack,"

"Uh, let me use my Ice."

"Wilfride. That is cheating," Domino stated."And you can't expose yourself,"

"Okay, I'll sneak it so they think it came from one of the creatures."

"We still would need a Water Pokemon for that,"

Suddenly, they heard a shout from out of the trees. A young boy sprung at them and attempted to swing a sword in Domino's face. Wilfride slid between the two, grabbing the blade before it hit. Domino jumped back from surprise seeing Wilfride in front of her, her fingers wrapped around the blade. The boy seemed surprised that his sword was caught.

"Hey. No one grabs my sword. I am true, fearless and completely invincible in combat." He said pulling at the sword.

"And yet you couldn't stop me," Wilfride said with disappointment. "And next time you shove a sword in someone's face, I'm going to stick up it your-"

"Wilfride!" Domino cried.

Wilfride gave sigh and a gentle shove, causing the kid to stumble backwards.

The boy looked up at them. "I have been venturing this forest searching for new Pokémon Trainers. When word spread that several would be starting their journey from Pallet Town, I waited here for them."

Wilfride lifted her eyebrows. "Well, were not from the Town of Pallets, so you just wasted your time."

"Why are you waiting on trainers?" Domino asked.

"I simply search for the chance to have a battle with a worthy opponent." He put away his sword. "But alas. My search continues."

"Battle with swords...or,"

"A Pokemon Battle, of course,"

Wilfride frowned. "Just when things were looking up,"

His eyes fell to her Flareon and he gasped. "A Fire type. "A worthy opponent, you should battle me!"

"And who exactly are you?"

"I'm Samurai."

"Well, I don't do that type of battling and this thing doesn't either. So get lost." Wilfride turned away.

"Are you afraid to lose to Samurai?"

Wilfride stopped and looked back to him. "I'll battle with swords, not with...whatever their called. So if you're as great as you say then you will battle with swords only."

The boy's eyes widened when he realized she was serious.

He scrambled to his feet and ran off; leaving Wilfride's to sink her shoulders. "You know, I was actually hoping he would take that challenge,"

"This world doesn't believe in people fighting people, they let the Pokemon do it."

"Which is what I am against," Wilfride stated coldly, "What happened to people fighting and battling among themselves?"

"Is that really how they solve things from where you're from?" Domino asked, looking out into the forest.

Wilfride bit her lip. "Elyon,"

Domino turned back to her. "What?"

If I'm stuck here, then I am going to need someone to help me. She thought.

Wilfride took a deep breath. "I'm from Elyon. And I'm not the only Keeper there..." Her voice trailed off as her memory began to clear. "...actually, I don't think I'm the only Keeper that fell through,"
