Backstory: Centuries ago, an evil sorcerer known as Lord Malphas sought to create the perfect assassin to serve as his loyal enforcer in the Netherrealm. Delving into dark magics and alchemy, he crafted a powerful and deadly creature from a rare and powerful ruby imbued with the essence of malevolence. This creation, Scarlet Ember, was brought to life, an embodiment of fiery wrath and untamed power.
However, Scarlet Ember's innate rebellious spirit proved too strong for Malphas to control. During an intense battle, she managed to break free from his grasp and escaped through a mystical portal, which brought her to Earthrealm. Weakened and disoriented, she was discovered by the blind swordsman and telepathic warrior, Kenshi, who sensed a glimmer of humanity within her. Impressed by her combat prowess and eager to prevent her from succumbing to her dark origins, Kenshi offered her a chance for redemption.
Joining forces with Kenshi, Scarlet Ember became an assassin and archaeologist, using her enhanced abilities and dark origins to uncover and retrieve magical and rare relics and artifacts. In her quest for redemption, she sought to understand her creation, embracing the path of righteousness and turning her fiery powers against those who would threaten Earthrealm.
