[Okay, last week's chapter absolutely smashed it out of the park. I was worried it'd be a bit slow because of the start, but I think that ending really ran it home, and you guys seemed to like it, which is awesome. So a massive thank you to all, and hopefully I can continue it with this week's chapter. After all, we're onto the next Arc~]

[3rd Person POV]

The sound of light traffic filled the background of the early morning that looked over Tokyo. Amongst the streets, on a sidewalk, (Y/n), alongside Bakugo and the newest member of their friend group, Uraraka, could be seen walking to school. Now, about a week passed by since the exams for All Might's class. Since that moment, Kaito hasn't shown up to any of his classes, and the students of Class 1-A have really started to see (Y/n) as definitely one of the 'cool' kids, as Bakugo put it. (Y/n), on the other hand, would just laugh it off.

Something he had not done in years. Yet, like a lot of things lately, (Y/n) wasn't so much of the cold person he once was known as. Sure, he still had his moments. But overall, he wasn't afraid to say hello to any of the other students in class, and actually found fun in the exams given to him. Even though he came to U.A. to become a hero for a completely different reason, the young boy was still able to find actual excitement in the everyday activities given to him. He seemed to be acompletely different person. At least, that's what Bakugo told Uraraka.

When the girl heard this, she was more than happy. Then again, she seemed to be exactly that ever since she and (Y/n) first became friends. Now, she still wasn't inthe same category of friends as Bakugo's was. Like, Uraraka and (Y/n) hadn't hung out, out of school yet. But they did the basics. Like catching the train to, and from, school. They'd sit together at lunch. And chat before class started. Even though it was little, Uraraka couldn't help but be thankful that she finally found a friend in the boy who had caught her attention.

And the good times seemed to roll for (Y/n) for yet another day. For yet another morning, a smile could be seen plastered across his lips. Even when out of nowhere Bakugo slid an arm over his shoulder and moved in close. The classic Bakugo grin that made (Y/n) knew, whatever the blonde was about to say, would either get them into trouble or get them into a whole lot of fun that could possibly lead them to trouble. So like always, it was nothing but the usual from the boy (Y/n) called his childhood friend.

Bakugo: "Okay, bro, picture this. You. Me. Honies. Friday night. Karaoke. Where? Who knows. What time? Party time? Dance? You bet! Getting lucky? Maybe~"

And just like that, the goofy smile quickly turned to a smirk that confirmed to (Y/n) just what Bakugo meant by 'getting lucky'.

(Y/n): "Getting lucky, huh?"

Bakugo: "Yeah. Kirishima told me about this great Karaoke bar on the other side of town. So!" [Jumps in front of you] "Wanna hit it up?"

A brief pause came from (Y/n). The boy with his hands currently placed within his pants pockets, just stared at the boy before him and chuckled slightly. Meanwhile, Bakugo had all the hope in the world on his side.

(Y/n): "I mean, yeah, that does sound fun. But one problem... It's a bar. How exactly are we supposed to get in?"

Bakugo: "Pfft! Problem? Please! Trust me, (Y/n)... I'm special when it comes to problems."

(Y/n): [Chuckles and mutters] "Oh, don't worry, your Mom's been sure to tell me all about that."

Both (Y/n) and Uraraka couldn't help but snicker at this. Instantly ticking off their friend.

Bakugo: "Hey! Look, if you don't wanna go, we don't have to!"

(Y/n): [Smiles] "No. I wanna go. I wanna go. But, look, dude, you gotta face reality. We won't be able to get in because they'll need to check IDs."

Bakugo: "Ah, ha! And that's where I have you beat, young sir."

(Y/n): "Young sir?"

Bakugo: "For this is no normal bar. For this, is a hero's bar!"

Uraraka: "A hero's bar?"

Bakugo: "Yeah. A bar for heroes." [Leans in and whispers] "And do you know how many others wear masks? Boom! That's how we'll get in! We'll wear masks so they don't know we're underage!"

(Y/n): "Uh, one problem, I've seen your costume. And your mask isn't very concealing. They'll see your face straight away."

Bakugo: "Oh... I, uh... I didn't think of that."

(Y/n): [Sarcastically] "Whaaa? But you said you were special when it comes to problems?"

Bakugo: "I am, okay?! Just... Just give me a moment to think!"

And a moment (Y/n) gave. So, as Bakugo continued to think over the possible solution, (Y/n) and Uraraka just stood there waiting for it to be brought up. But, after a while, when Bakugo's face showed he was coming up trumps, Uraraka realized she had an idea. Something that could not only help in the situation, but help her fit in with her new friends.

Uraraka: "Um... I-I don't know if you guys like this idea, but... My Dad works in construction, a-and my Mom does costume designs on weekends. Maybe I could... Ask if they could make masks for you guys?"

(Y/n): [Turns to Uraraka] "Wow. Really?"

Bakugo: "YES!"

Bakugo shouted from the bottom of his lungs upon hearing the news. Within seconds his arm was wrapped around Uraraka's neck as he celebrated the girls idea.

Bakugo: "Uraraka, you totally just came in clutch, bro!"

Uraraka: "...Bro...?"

As Uraraka focused on that one word, she felt a nudge on her shoulder. Immediately her gaze shifted to the side where she saw (Y/n) was looking down at her with a smile.

(Y/n): "Don't worry. Bakugo calls everyone bro. Even called the lunch lady at our school it once after she gave him a few extra pieces of chips."

Bakugo: "And I'm telling you, bro, she did that cause she was totally into me!"

(Y/n): "Dude... You were twelve."

Bakugo: "Pfft! Never said she was into me legally."

(Y/n) couldn't help but outwardly burst into laughter upon hearing that. Sometimes Bakugo really said some things unexpectedly that he couldn't keep character. Nevertheless, Bakugo didn't see it as a joke. Such going by the fact that without even a chuckle he continued forward. Leaving (Y/n) and Uraraka to stand by themselves for a moment.

Uraraka: "Wow. Bakugo sure is funny."

(Y/n): "Eh. I guess. But you've gotta be into that kind of humor to like him."

Uraraka: "Well, I'm just glad he likes me... I was a little worried he wouldn't."

(Y/n): "Oh, trust me, let's just say Bakugo likes all girls. Besides, you're pretty cool yourself, Uraraka. So don't always sweat on people not liking you."

That was all (Y/n) said before following after Bakugo. Meanwhile, Uraraka was left standing there momentarily. (Y/n) had just called her cool. She had never been called cool before. Especially by someone as cool as (Y/n). That in itself was cool... Cool! Uraraka was filled with so much joy just thinking about that, that she didn't waste any time in catching up to her friends. However, they all were brought to an abrupt stop just meters from the entrance to U.A. when they saw a countless crowd of reporters and cameramen filing toward the aforementioned school.

Uraraka: "Wow. There are so many people."

(Y/n): "Yeah. I wonder what's going on?"

Bakugo: "I wonder if Midnight got caught doing it with a student and now there's a scandal going on..."

The pause afterward was not only felt by (Y/n) and Uraraka, but surrounding area as well, as everyone turned to face the scruffy blonde who just looked on in confusion.

Bakugo: "What? Have you seen the way she acts in personal fitness? She totally flirts with everyone!"

(Y/n): [Shakes Head] "Bakugo. Bakugo. Bakugo..."

Bakugo: "Oh, come on, (Y/n). Don't act like she's not your favorite hero."

(Y/n): "Uh... W-What?"

Bakugo: [Smirks] "Ha! Ha! That's what I thought. I know you~"

(Y/n): "...I have no idea what you're talking about."

Oh, but Bakugo did know. He knew a lot. But before the conversation could be continued, it was taken into a new direction when Sero approached the group from the side.

Sero: "Damn. They really got here early, huh?"

Uraraka: "What do you mean?"

Bakugo: "Yeah! Do you know something?! If so... Spill!"

Bakugo said in the most Bakugo way possible. Thankfully Sero just laughed it off. Closing his eyes and rubbing the back of his head.

Sero: "Well, you know the drill we had yesterday?"

Bakugo: "You mean the one that almost got Uraraka crushed by a stampede of students?"

Uraraka: "Hey!"

Bakugo: "What? It's the truth!"

Sero: [Chuckles] "Yeah, that one. Well, my Dad's friend, who's a cop, said it wasn't just a drill. Apparently, someone broke into the school. Or, at least attempted to, anyway."

As soon as (Y/n) heard that his eyes popped up. He didn't expect someone would try to get into U.A. He was surprised he didn't even suspect as much when it all went down yesterday. Then again, he kinda was preoccupied with other things...

[Your POV]

--The Previous Day--

Kirishima: "Oi! (Y/n)'s here!"

I guess I didn't totally know what to expect my first day walking into class would be like after my fight with Kaito. But whatever I did picture, it definitely wasn't having majority of the classroom immediately rush me upon opening the door. As the current situation showcased.

Kirishima: "Man! I don't know what you said during that exam, but you were totally awesome!"

Sero: "I can't believe you totally kicked Kaito's ass. And he's supposedly really powerful!"

Kaminari: "Not as powerful as (Y/n) though!"

Ojiro: "Did you see how he turned the lights off?"

Kirishima: "I know! He was like a monster or something!"

Kaminari: "A fucking awesome monster!"

Yep... Definitely didn't expect this. And let alone mentally prepared for it. I mean, sure, I've been a little more open since coming to terms with my past, but still, having so many people suddenly want to talk to me was really surprising and out of nowhere. Thankfully, for better or worse, Bakugo decided to be his usual self in this situation. Quickly pushing himself between me and the group of eager students.

Bakugo: "Guys. Guys. Calm down, please! My client will answer all your questions but in a single manner!"

(Y/n): "Uh... Client?"

Bakugo: [Turns to you] "Look, I'm trying to help you here. You just go along with the story I'm laying down, alright?"

(Y/n): "Um... I guess."

Bakugo: [Turns back around] "Alright! Now that my client is ready, he will be starting with questions from the ladies." [Suddenly points] "Ashido! Go!"

Ashido: "Uh! Um! Y-You did a really go job punching!"

(Y/n): "Uh, thanks? I guess..."

Bakugo: "Alright! Next! Invisible girl I have not learned the name of yet! Go!"

Hagakure: "Uh, my names Hagakure--"

Bakugo: "Alright! Cool! Next!"

It continued like that for a good five minutes. Eventually, it became a bit too much for me and I was able to duck out of it all and find my way to my desk. However, as I did so, I noticed that Kaito's seat was empty. Then again, that's not totally surprising when you think about how he basically sees me as a rival or whatever. So, it won't be much of a surprise if he doesn't show up at school for a few days.

Though, I was given a brief bit of entertainment before class when I turned my head around to see Iida speeding his way over to Tokoyami's desk, where he, and his usual group of 'loners' could be seen gathered. Though the thing Iida was most distressed about, was how the bird-themed guy was seated. Iida making his point further by waving his hands around frantically.

Iida: "Tokoyami! That desk is not a chair! Get off immediately!"

Jiro: "It's not that big of a deal, is it?"

Iida: "Not a big deal?!"

Ojiro: "And what's with the hand movements? Are you trying to be a traffic police officer?"

Iida: [Lowers head] "You people..." [Sighs] "I cannot condone the actions of disrespecting the desks that our great men and women who were our upperclassmen once used!"

Bakugo: "Ha! Lame!"

Bakugo's sudden remark was enough to take Iida's attention away from his little speech.

Iida: "Bakugo! Would you please stop!"

Bakugo: "Nah!"

It was at this unfortunate moment that Iida took notice of me. I swear, his eyes sparkled as soon as he saw me. It was kinda weird...

Iida: "(Y/n)! You're here! You're popularnow, right?"

(Y/n): "...I am?"

Iida: "Perhaps you could talk to these ruffians about treating our desks with respect!"

I didn't respond straight away. Instead, I looked at Iida, then I looked at the 'ruffians'. Though one noticeable thing out of it all, when I glanced with Jiro, she actually smiled at me. I haven't known her for long, but I've never seen her smile up until now. Not that it was important. So, wanting to keep myself from getting into any unwanted business, I merely sat back around on my chair, and let my head fall back into my arms and sighed.

(Y/n): [Sighs] "Sorry, Iida. No can do."

Iida: "Wha--"

Before Iida could finish speaking, he was cut off as the door opened. Mr. Aizawa finally having arrived, leading the other students to quickly find their seats. Including Tokoyami. Which, I think is honestly a good thing. I was worried Iida might blow a blood vessel if he continued. Nevertheless, class was about to start, and that was always... Interesting.

Aizawa: "Good work on yesterday's combat exam. I saw the video and results. You all did great." [Turns to you] "Especially you, (Y/n). Yours was quite... Entertaining, to say the least."

(Y/n): "Um... Thanks?"Aizawa: "But in saying that, don't you think you went a little overboard?"

If I'm speaking the truth, I wasn't totally expecting something like that to come from Aizawa. So much so it took me a moment to respond. In the moment, however, I noticed just how many pairs of eyes that one question drew my way. Now I had the whole class looking at me as they awaited my answer.

(Y/n): "Uh... Well, what can I say? When we go up against villains, we shouldn't hold back. Especially if people are in danger. All Might instructed us to see it as a real event. So I did exactly what I would do in that situation."

I think that response was a little surprising to everyone listening. The majority probably questioned if I was willing to do that in training, what I'd do in a real event. Hopefully, that doesn't come to be for a while, at least. As for Aizawa, I wasn't exactly sure what his response was going to be. Yet, when I saw him actually smile at me, I guess I have a good enough response.

Aizawa: "Now, let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notices, but today I'll have you..."

...Have another special exam?!

Aizawa: "...Decide on a classrepresentative."

Oh...It's an actual normal school activity. Yet, surprisingly, unlike me, a lot of the others seemed more than excited about this. That's if you were going off by how many people jumped to their feet upon hearing this.

Kirishima: "I want to be class rep! Pick me!"

Kaminari: "Me, too!"

Jiro: "I want to do it, too."

Aoyama: [Eyes sparkle] "It's a job for--"

Ashido: [Jumps in the way] "I'll be the leader!"

One by one everyone jumped to their feet. At first, it was normal. Then it just got... Weird.

Mineta: "My manifesto is for all girls' skirts to be 30 centimetres above the knee!"

Bakugo: "I AGREE WITH THE WORM!"

Yep, even Bakugo decided to get into it. Surprise. Surprise. Only when girls were brought up. It continued to be this chaotic for a long while until out of nowhere one voice rose above the all. Again, no surprise really, when it was revealed to be Iida.

Iida: "Silence, please! This is not a game. It is a serious job of responsibility to be leading others. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide the true leader, then we should hold an election to elect one."

As he said that, Iida's hand was raised the highest than anyone else's. It seemed he really wanted to be the class representative.

Kirishima: "So... What? We just all vote for ourselves?"

Iida: "Of course not! We will all be forced to vote for another person. Then at the end, whoever has the most votes will be the class representative!" [Turns to Aizawa] "Mr. Aizawa! What do you think?"

Aizawa: "Eh. I don't care. Just do it before homeroom is over!"Iida: "Then it is settled! We shall hold this election now!"

Bakugo: "Well, if that's the case... I vote for(Y/n)."

If I had water in my mouth at this moment... I would spit it out. Unfortunately, the only dramatic effect I could do was remove my feet from the top of my desk.

(Y/n): "What? Dude!"

Bakugo: [Turns to you] "What? You'd make a great class representative."

(Y/n): "Give me one good reason as to why I would want to be class representative?"

Bakugo: "Uh? Duh! That's easy! Gir--"

(Y/n): "...And don't say girls."

Just like that Bakugo was cut off before he could finish. His narrowed gaze all that remained on me as the class came to a pause. That seemed to be it for talk of me running for class representative, thankfully. I mean, it's not like it was a bad thing. But it sounded boring and I didn't come to this school to be a representative of it. So, by all means, I hope I'm as far from the top of votes as I could possibly be...

******

...Shit. Of course, my luck would have it otherwise. By the time the voting came to the end, instead of being at the bottom, I was at the top, with five votes. The closest to me was Yaoyorozu, with three. The only thing to wonder now is who voted for me. I mean, sure, Bakugo's a given. But four others? That's just... Odd. Though, out of everyone, I was not the person who took the worse from this result. One glance was all it took to realize that. His fists were clenched and his eyes looked like they were ready to break his glasses just by glaring at them. I guess he really wanted it in the end.

Iida: "...Zero votes... I knew that would happen. This is only to be expected of a person's calling."

All I could do was chuckle and shake my head at seeing Iida's clenched-up persona. Though, he wasn't the only one to be seen disappointed with the results. One glance to the person standing next to me at the front of the class was all it took.

Yaoyorozu: [Sighs] "I cannot believe I failed in such a task. Only accumulating three votes. And now I have to be secondhand to a boy who clearly doesn't want the job."

(Y/n): "You'd be right in that, you know?"

Yaoyorozu: "Huh?!"

I don't think Yaoyorozu noticed I was standing right next to her when she said her previous sentence. For all it took was one of my own for her eyes to burst open and a look of instant regret to take over her face as she turned me. Her shocked expression on full display as I just calmly smiled at her.

Yaoyorozu: "(Y/n)? I...I'm sorry! I-I didn't realize you were standing there--"

(Y/n): "Eh. It's fine. Besides, you're not saying something I'm not thinking."

Yaoyorozu: "I...I'm not?"

(Y/n): "No. I don't want to be the class representative. In fact, I actually voted for you."

That must have been rather surprising to Yaoyorozu, as her shocked look returned almost instantly. The funny thing about it this time, however, was that she seemed more shocked hearing this than realizing I was standing right next to her after speaking such words as she did before. Before anything more could be said the bell sounded, signally the end of home room. As soon as the noise faded I tossed my hands into my pockets and took my exit of the classroom.

(Y/n): [Smirks at Momo] "I mean, it looked like you were pretty disappointed seeing me get appointed to the position."

That remark seemed to stick with Yaoyorozu the most going off yet another one of her facial expressions. Her head dropped slightly as I turned my attention to the crowd of students sitting at their desks in front of me.

(Y/n): "Besides, I'm not here to be a representative of anything." [Turns to Iida] "That's why I appoint Iida as class representative in my place."

Iida: "W-What?"

Yeah, it seemed like shocked expressions were going around this morning. But funnily enough, Iida's surprise wasn't the loudest upon hearing my first and last decree as class rep. Bakugo made sure to take that feat.

Bakugo: "WHAT?! Dude! Why?!"

(Y/n): "Why not? I told you I didn't want it."

Bakugo: "Even after I forced the worm to vote for you?!"

A single glance toward Mineta was enough to see that Bakugo definitely forced him. The look of complete shock that clouded the pervert's face was enough to tell as much. Nevertheless, I ignored it, and grinned back to Bakugo.

(Y/n): "What can I say, dude? There are better things to do."

And more important things that need my focus. So, with nothing else that needed to be added, I exited the room. Leaving Bakugo and the majority of the class shocked, whilst also giving Iida the best news ever. I mean, I could hear him screaming for joy even when I was downstairs, that's how excited he was to be Class rep. And, as I said, he deserved it. Unfortunately, not everyone was accepting of my decision.

--Present--

And that just seemed to be the start of the day. Bakugo continuously asked my I put down the position of Class Rep, Iida suddenly really liked me for giving him the opportunity, so I guess I have another friend now. And then, of course, there was the news I only received this morning about someone attempting to break into the school. Whatever that was.

But all of that was long gone from my mind at this point as my focus was instead O shifted to today's activity. Instead of being in a classroom, however, I, along with everyone else from class, was standing in the courtyard of the school decked in our hero costumes. Though, as we awaited for Aizawa to speak, I was left having to deal with Bakugo bringing up everything about yesterday.

Bakugo: "You know, I'm still annoyed you just gave up being Class Rep like that."

(Y/n): "Sorry to disappoint, dude. But I never asked you to vote for me."

Bakugo: "And you never asked me to get you a girlfriend! Yet, that's what I'm doing. Hence why I voted you for Class Rep!"

(Y/n): "What? So I could get a girlfriend?"

Bakugo: "Duh! Exactly!"

I couldn't help but chuckle upon realizing Bakugo was serious.

(Y/n): [Chuckles] "Dude. Look. You're great. But I don't exactly think girls are into guys that are Class Reps."

Bakugo: "Uh, you'd be surprised how many girls are into guys with power."

(Y/n): "Power?" [Laughs] "Okay, bro, you're totally watching too many movies now."

Bakugo: "Uh, you mean my study books on how to get my boy a girl?"

(Y/n): "I mean your movies."

Before Bakugo could make another witty remark to my reply, he was cut off by Aizawa's voice. Within a single instance, everyone's eyes fell upon our teacher standing at the front of the group.

Aizawa: "Alright, for today's basic hero training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might, me, and one more person."

Sero: [Raises hand] "Excuse me! What'll we be doing?"

Bakugo: "And can I please have a better partner than the worm this time?"

Bakugo included causing Mineta to drop his head in shame.

Aizawa: "Today you all will be doing rescue training."

Mr. Aizawa seemed to think saying the words wasn't enough, as along with his sentence he lifted a card with the word'Rescue' printed on it, high into the air for all to see.

Aizawa: "Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between."

Just hearing that seemed to get everyone excited. Soon enough there were chatters from every side of the group talking about what they could be doing today and how awesome it would be. Of course, it wasn't long before I felt a hand land on my shoulder. And, of course, it was none other than Bakugo himself, carrying that usual grin.

Bakugo: "You know what's so great about rescue training, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n): "Let me guess--"

Bakugo: "Saving girls! That's right!" [Slaps your back] "Dude! Today's the day!"

(Y/n): "Uh... The day for what?"

Bakugo: "The day you save some girl and totally make her fall for you! It's perfect! All you have to do is get to partner up with a girl in a situation where she's playing the victim. Then, when you need to step in, you do it in the most awesome way possible. And then, when time slows down and she's looking up at you like you have birds or shit flying behind you, you'll look down at her and say something cool like...I got you girl~"

(Y/n): "...Yeaaaah. I don't think so."

Bakugo: "Ah! Come on, dude! It'll totally be sick!"

(Y/n): "Look. If you're so into getting a girlfriend, why don't you get one for yourself?"

Bakugo: "And leave you out? Pfft! Please! We're boys. I got you, dog!"

Whether his antics were annoying or not, Bakugo always seemed genuine with what he said. And realizing such was all it took to remind me just how lucky I am to have a friend like him. Unfortunately, before I could deliver such verbally, both me and Bakugo were suddenly sprung back to reality when noticed Aizawa's face was now hovering inches away from us. He was so close we could see all the multiple bags that hung beneath his eyes.

Aizawa: "Hey, I'm not finished."

(Y/n): "Uh! Um... S-Sorry, sir."

Bakugo: [Leans in closer] "How are you even awake right now?"

Aizawa merely glanced toward Bakugo but did not respond. His focus then shifted to the rest of the class seconds later.

Aizawa: "The training will take place off campus, so we're taking two buses. You can begin boarding now." [Turns to you and Bakugo] "Now, I am done."

With a final glance toward me and Bakugo, Aizawa proceeded to turn around and walk toward the buses, as did the rest of us. However, before I could get more than a step in, I was stopped by a voice calling my name.

"(Y/n). Excuse me!"

Before I had even processed the rest of the sentence I was already turning around. Once I was fully spun around I saw it was Yaoyorozu who had called out to me.

(Y/n): "That's weird. Why's she talking to me?"

"Because she loves you...loves you...loves you..."

The last words were made out to be echoes, but in reality, it was just Bakugo silencing his words for dramatic effect. Though he suddenly stopped when he saw me looking at him.

Bakugo: "Alright. Well, I'm gonna get on the bus. You go get 'em, buddy!"

A final slap of encouragement on the shoulder was all Bakugo gave before turning around and walking off toward the bus. As for me, by the time I turned back to Yaoyorozu, she was already standing in front of me.

(Y/n): "Uh... Whats up, Yaoyorozu?"

Yaoyorozu: "I'm sorry for stopping you from heading off with Bakugo. I just wanted to apologize for my words yesterday."

(Y/n): "Oh...Um. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but, what words?"

All it took was the suddenly shocked expression from the girl for me to remember exactly what she was talking about... Kinda.

(Y/n): "Oh! Yesterday! I remember now."

Yaoyorozu: "Good. Well, I felt it was only right that apologize for I believe my words came off in a wrong manner. I did not mean to make it sound like you were not worthy for the position."

(Y/n): "You didn't. As I said, I never wanted the position."

Yaoyorozu: "Even so. I feel the need to apologize. And if that is not warranted, then a thank you; for giving me your vote in the election for Class Representative. I am grateful you thought of me as someone worthy of the position."

(Y/n): "Oh, um... That's no problem. Really."

To be honest, this whole conversation was as weird from beginning to end. I don't know whether it was because of the way Yaoyorozu talked, or the fact it just came out of nowhere. I mean, this is the first time we've talked one on one. So it was bound to be a little odd to begin with. However, things took a turn when the conversation came to an end, and a familiar voice called out from ahead.

"Hey! Yaoyorozu! You coming or what?"

As soon as I heard that voice I couldn't stop my eyes from widening. Immediately my head twisted faster than I thought possible, only for the image in my mind to become a reality. There, standing near the entrance of one of the buses, was Kaito. He looked like he always did. But that's not like you may be thinking. He looked like he always did... To me. He was no longer holding a fake smile to please the teachers, his words weren't kind. He was the exact person I had known since I was a kid.

And whereas he spoke with Yaoyorozu before, seemingly interested in her. Those times had been flirty remarks with smiles. This was more of a forceful tone with them. When I turned back to the girl on topic, however, my flags were raised when I saw the tension appear on her face as she took in Kaito's sudden arrival. For a brief period, silence filled the air as Yaoyorozu stared off at Kaito. It wasn't until I spoke out that she finally returned to reality and looked back at me.

(Y/n): "Um, Yaoyorozu? You alright?"

Yaoyorozu: "Huh? Oh! Y-Yes. I fine. I, um... I best get going. Thank you for your vote again, (Y/n)."

That was all she said before turning back to Kaito and walking off toward the boy who had ruined my life since childhood. But it was because of those moments that I knew when things were off with him. When he was in a mood. Back then, I all I could do was take the punishment coming my way. Back then, I was scared. But now. I wasn't scared. Not of Kaito. Not of my own fears.

It was because of that lack of fear that I had no problem in doing what I did next. Yaoyorozu was able to get a few steps in as she took her approach toward Kaito. But before she could get any further she felt a sudden hand cusp her own. Instantly her eyes opened in shock as she turned her head to see that hand... Was mine. Before she could even respond I was already pulling gently in the direction of the other bus. The one which I was headed to in the first place.

Yaoyorozu: "(Y/n)! What are you--"

(Y/n): "You can come on the bus with me."

Before too long, we were walking through the aisle of the bus. Of course, it wasn't long before Bakugo's eyes widen when he noticed who I was currently holding hands with. Though, I didn't let go until I saw him bouncing up and down in excitement. So, following a quick roll of the eyes, I finally let Yaoyorozu's hand go. Though, before walking off myself, I made sure to offer her one final piece of advice.

(Y/n): "Look, I don't know what you've got going on with Kaito. But trust me when I say, just drop it, and drop him while you're at it. Seriously, you don't want something like him in your life."

I didn't wait to see if my words had made an impact on her or not. Instead, I simply turned around and walked to the seat saved by Bakugo. Though, of course, just as I sat down, Bakugo was quick to slap my leg and chuckle.

Bakugo: "Totally don't want a girlfriend, my ass! I see you, bro!"

(Y/n): [Sighs] "You're not going to let this down, huh?"

Bakugo: "No, sir."

It was at that point that I knew my day had gotten worse. But by how much exactly? Well, as I would soon come to know, not nearly as bad as life intended it to be. Thankfully most of the bus ride to fuck knows nowhere, was pretty good. Minus the stupid remarks from Bakugo, all seemed good. I mean, any bus without Kaito on it was destined to be so.

However, unlike most buses, this one had seats that were facing each other. With one row on each side being able to house five students each. So, whereas I had Bakugo on one side. The person on the other was Tsuyu, the frog-themed girl who seemed to just start a conversation out of nowhere. But as she was about to explain, this was nothing but normal for her.

Tsuyu: "I say whatever comes to mind." [Turns to you] "(Y/n)..."

(Y/n): "Uh, what's up, Asui?"

Tsuyu: "Call me "Tsu'."

(Y/n): "Uh..."

Bakugo: [Snickers] "Yeah, (Y/n), call her 'Tsu'~" [Leans in and whispers] "You guys are already on first-name basis. Oh sweet~"

You know what would be sweet? Wiping the smirk off Bakugo's face. Unfortunately, I could not do that right now. Which left me to just ignore my friend's comments and turn back to... Tsu.

(Y/n): "Um... What's up? ...Tsu?"

Tsuyu: "You have two Quirks, don't you?"

(Y/n): "Uh! Um! W-Well--"

The words of All Might telling me to not reveal the origins of One For All was quick to come to mind. Thankfully, I was able to gather my thoughts just in time as everyone else turned toward us.

(Y/n): "Uh, yeah. I-I have two."

Kirishima: "Wow! That's totally awesome!"

Kaminari: "No wonder you're so powerful(Y/n). You've got two quirks!"

Bakugo: "And he's also awesome."

It was as he finished saying this that Bakugo sent his grin over to Yaoyorozu, Ashido, and Uraraka, who sat on the seats opposite us.

Bakugo: [Smirks] "... And single. Ladies~"

All I could do was roll my eyes at Bakugo's antics. Thankfully, before any of the confused girls could say anything, Tsu was back at stating the obvious. This time around, she was hitting a little too close to the goal.

Tsuyu: "Your Quirk is also like All Might's."

(Y/n): "Uh, yeah?" [Chuckles Nervously] "I, uh, I guess it kinda is, huh?"

Tsuyu: "You are also handsome. Which is perfect for a hero these days."

Okay, that one really got me. All I could do was stare in complete disbelief at how natural this girl was whilst saying such things. I knew Bakugo was grinning his lips off. But I really didn't care in the moment.

Kirishima: "Ha! Ha! Damn! Not only is he powerful. You're already out wooing the ladies, (Y/n)."

Kaminari: "Haha. Just make sure to save some for the rest of us, alright... Please?"

(Y/n): "Oh." [Chuckles] "Don't worry about it. I don't really--"

Bakugo: "--Think too much on it! He...He doesn't. Pfft! Mainly because he lets the ladies come to him~" [Turns to the girls] "Again. Ladies~"

By this point, I was straight on staring at Bakugo. But he seemed not to care much about that, and instead continued on making my school day as embarrassing as possible.

(Y/n): "Dude? Seriously? Can you just stop?"

Bakugo: "No can do, conpardre. I've gotta woo the ladies 24/7~"

Kirishima: "Ha! How come?"

Bakugo: [Snickers] "Well, if you must know--"

Tsuyu: "Perhaps Bakugo is making extra efforts in 'wooing' girls because he is lacking in other areas that girls find attractive."

It wasn't long before everyone's eyes opened in shock. Well, except for Tsu, because, as previously mentioned, she just spoke everything that came to her mind. Something Bakugo didn't seem to be a fan of going off the way he immediately launched to his feet upon hearing Tsu's comments.

Bakugo: "Hey! What the hell! I'm not making up for anything! If anyone is...You're making up for things with the way you talk!"

Tsuyu: [Turns to you] "See?"

Bakugo: "Hey! Don't ignore me!"

I could only chuckle silently as Bakugo reclaimed his seat. A puff of air exited his nose as he tried to calm himself.

(Y/n): "Dude. Relax. We know you're not making up for anything... Well, nothing that's already trying its best."

Bakugo: "Hey!"

Again, I could only laugh, along with the rest of the guys at how Bakugo seemed to really be trying his best to prove a point when he was saying such a point was wrong in the first place. Nevertheless, whereas the boys and Tsu seemed to find the conversation funny. The same couldn't be said for the girls, as by this point, Yaoyorozu was quick to cover her mouth in disgust. Not that I could blame her. Most girls did the same when Bakugo tried to 'woo' them.

Yaoyorozu: "What a vulgar conversation."

Bakugo: [Grumbles] "Says the girl who's practically showing her tits!"

Ashido: [To Momo] "Nah! I think it's funny. Seeing someone like Bakugo act this way is hilarious."

Uraraka: [Smiles Brightly] "I'm just wondering what they're talking about!"

It was at that moment the surrounding area went silent. All of us instantly turning to Uraraka. Even Iida did so in shock. Though, the girl who wanted to become my friend only questioned why everyone was staring at her. Before she could get an answer, Aizawa informed us of our arrival. The next thing I knew, I was staring directly into a black surface with two white circles.

Like the void of space. But it wasn't space, well, not entirely. Instead, it was none other than the Space Hero themselves, Thirteen! The person, whose body was sealed away within a suit that resembled very closely to an astronaut's outfit, turned out to be the other supervisor Aizawa had mentioned earlier.

Thirteen: "Everyone! I have been waiting for you!"

It wasn't much of a surprise to hear the gasps of shock when the hero was revealed to us. I mean, Thirteen was referred to commonly as a gentlemanly hero who has rescued tons of people from disasters. Out of everyone, Uraraka seemed to be the most excited. It was in that excitement that she grabbed my arm and started bouncing up and down.

Uraraka: "Oh, I love Thirteen!" [Turns to you] "Don't you just love them?! Don't you?!"

(Y/n): "Uh--" [Nervously Chuckles] "Um, Y-Yeah, I guess..."

It was kinda hard to respond with Uraraka currently wearing her skintight hero costume. So with all the bouncing it definitely made some, uh... Noticeable things start to bounce. And as a teenage boy, it was kinda hard not to notice.

Thirteen: [Chuckles] "It is definitely nice to see fans. Now, let's head inside without delay. I'm looking forward to working with you all."

The voice modulator Thirteen used was definitely a cool aspect of their suit. I just know Izuku would love seeing them with his own eyes. Though, if one thought getting to meet such a recognizable hero was something awesome. All they would have to do was wait a few seconds longer they came to realize what was really awesome. As soon as we entered through the large entry doors to this unknown location, everyone's eyes, including my own, were quick to widen in complete shock when we saw what was inside the dome-shaped building.

In a building that seemed more like a planet than anything else, all of the interiors could be seen from the edge of the stairwell that led down to the ground of the building. Whether it be vast mountain terrains in one corner, to a section of the building being zoned off for fire practices. Then there was the destroyed city zone where powerful storms could be seen from where we stood. Or a large lakefront filled with water. All of it could be seen from exactly where we stood. And the more we took in, the more it came hard to not realize where we are.

Uraraka: "Wow, this looks just like USJ!"

Thirteen: "It doesn't just look like it. It is USJ!"

If people were excited before. They were double it by this point. And it only continued to rise the more Thirteen spoke.

Thirteen: "A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, et cetera-- A training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters. It's called the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint'. Or, as you already referred to it as, USJ for short!"

Thirteen made sure to strike a one-footed pose as she pointed into the distance. Silence quickly filled the room as everyone struggled to believe that they were actually standing in the real USJ.

Uraraka: "...This really is USJ."

(Y/n): "I guess so."

Though, whereas us students seemed shocked to believe such. This seemed to be seen every day for both Thirteen and Aizawa, who seemed more than easily able to shift to the next thing. As they most certainly did instantly.

Aizawa: "Thirteen, where's All Might? He was supposed to meet us here."Thirteen: "About that..."

Whatever was said from that point on, the heroes made sure none of the students heard what was said. Though most seemed to be more interested in the fact that they were in USJ to notice. As for me, I noticed, and seeing as the conversation was about All Might. I knew it had to be one of two things.

Either he was in a fight. Or he was in a fight earlier, and now his Quirk timer was on low and he was recuperating back at U.A. Within seconds my interest had shifted from one thing to the next. However, before I could think more on All Might's situation, Thirteen was quick to speak out. Taking mine, and everyone else's attention for themself.

Thirteen: "Before we start today, I just want to say one thing... er... or two, three...? Or four? Five... Six...Seven..."

Bakugo: "Just go ahead and say it!"

Uraraka: [Sighs] "Thank goodness for Bakugo."

(Y/n): "Amen, sister."

Thirteen: "Very well. As I am sure you are aware my Quirk, Black Hole, can suck up anything and turn it into dust."

All Thirteen needed to do was look at Uraraka. The girl was full on nodding her head at speeds I was not expecting. Both me and Bakugo couldn't help but just stare at it momentarily.

Bakugo: "I guess she really likes Thirteen, huh?"

(Y/n): "Tell me about it."

We continued to stare for a short while longer before once again the static voice of Thirteen caught our attention yet again.

Thirteen: "My Quirk has been used to save countless lives. Yet, if not careful, it can also easily kill. Some of you also have Quirks like this, right?"

It didn't take long for my own subconscious to direct such a statement to me.

Thirteen: "In a superhuman society, Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated, so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance, right? However, please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can kill with just one wrong step. With Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out the possibilities of your own hidden powers."

Thirteen was right. I knew I could pack a punch. But it was Aizawa's test that was my real first attempt at One For All. It showed me what extra power I had been given.

Thirteen: "And with All Might's person-to-person combat training, I think you experienced the danger of using those powers against others."

I needed just to look at Kaito to realize as much. Whereas he still managed to show up to school today, I could tell easily that he was reeling from our fight. Even so... Thirteen was wrong. It is one thing to realize the powers you hold. But you should not fear them. For in a time when you need those powers to protect others. To protect them at all costs.

You shouldn't be afraid about holding back against the evil that dares to take away the peace. I don't think Thirteen realizes such, or at least, doesn't show it. But I knew that when the time came for me to not hold back, I wouldn't. As I came to realize that, Thirteen brought her sentence to an end. Her energetic attitude is quick to return as she struck another pose.

Thirteen: "Anyway! I'm sure you all know that! Simply wanted to remind you that this class is a fresh start! You shall learn to use your Quirks to do the one thing we've all come here for... To save people's lives. That is all. Thank you for listening."

It wasn't long before cheers from the other students soon took over the airwaves. Thirteen merely waving them off as she undoubtedly smiled under her helmet. Though the cheers were soon cut off by Aizawa who stepped out from the side to join Thirteen at the front of the group.

Aizawa: "Alright then. Now with that over. Let's get into--Huh?"

Sparks. Zaps of electricity could be seen circulating around the lights that circled the side of the domed glass ceiling that rested above us. It wasn't long before everyone else joined Aizawa in confusion as we lifted our gazes to the darkened room. I don't know what it was. But it was at this moment that I got a really bad feeling in my gut. Even worse, seconds later, that bad feeling was confirmed.

Sero: "Look. Down there. What's going on with the fountain?"

Within seconds all sets of eyes shifted down the stairwell before us where a fountain could be seen in the center of USJ. At first, it seemed normal. Water was flowing from the spout as it normally did. However, before long, it was revealed that nothing was normal. First, the water started to go on and off. As if it something invisible was cutting through it. Not long after, something did. A dark purple swirl soon began to form in place of the water. An eerie feeling quick to make its presence known as we all stared down at the strange and unforeseen action in confusion.

But in the few seconds, it took for Aizawa to turn around, that eerie feeling only got worse. The dark purple void which was once seen as a swirl hovering in the air quickly spaced in and out of existence momentarily. Eventually, it came back, but this time, in the form of a human. But it was not like me or anyone else. It was definitely. Kinda like something was trying to be human. Like a piece of space had been cast down to earth. The purple energy took the form of hands that stretched out. With it, the body followed.

But the one thing that confirmed this was not just a quirk, was the piercing yellow eyes that stared directly into my soul. Seconds before I came to realize what this purple void was being used for. All it took was for a single pale hand to reach its way through the void to realize whatever this 'thing' was, it was being used as a portal to bring other people here. But it wasn't just people. No. Random people wouldn't bring about the panic that everyone started to feel at this moment. This definitely wasn't people...

...It was villains.

[Alright, ending it there for this week. I originally planned to have this not have anything to do with the start of the USJ Incident ARC, but I decided against holding if off and instead beginning it here so we'll be able to get straight into the action next chapter. But that will have to wait a week. In the meantime, I hope you all did end up liking today's upload. If you did, feel free to vote and comment as usual. Going off the comments, you all seem to like this book, which is great. Thank you for that. It's because of how well this book is doing that I always aspire to bring you 10k plus word chapters that can hopefully brighten your day in some way. So, yeah, thank you all once again. I hope you have a great week. And I'll see you all soon for another chapter.]
