"now you did a group routine and that group routine was outstanding not only did we beat the crap apples i think you worked together on a whole and i think Payton toy bring to the team is that you want to be here were we missing two team members? yeah, Brooke and Paige they don't want to be here the supremes the temptations even the beatles replaced people in the group keep that in mind."
"first we have Brooke, no apology no text i know she has her phone with her."
"and that leaves me to Paige, if Paige wanted to dance Paige would've came to dance class"
"alright moving on Payton, in the dressing room at the competition i heard a little smart mouth"
"she wasn't getting smart she was just letting you know her name." Leslie says
"i know her names Payton." Abby says
"then call her Payton not Kendall not Brooke, Payton." Leslie says
"how about i call her replaceable." Abby says
"now we have Asia, Asia finally you did the choreography you were given you didn't pull focus but i think what ever you do in the future you need to do both, you need to be a star when that opportunity is available and i need you to be an ensemble dancer and learn how to take direction when it calls for it yes?"
"yes." Asia nods
"and next is Mackenzie, Mackenzie you also did a great job in the group routine." Abby says
"i'm floored Kenzies above Asia right now, because Asia that is not her style." Kristie says
"that's not Mackenzies style either though" Melissa says
"i'm just curious to see how Kenzies above her now." Kristie says
"they're on the same row." Abby says
"but it does make a difference." Kristie says
"well Mackenzie you got on the prop you had to jump off the prop she did the chinstand on the prop and she did an aerial off the prop that's why she's ahead of her." Abby says
"and next we have Chloe, now Chloe you did well in the group dance and you also did well in the trio sometimes you win the battle but lose the war."
"next we have Maddie, you do everything right but if you're up here all the time winning you're going to quit working you've been using that face for lyrical routines for the last how many competitions? but i want to see you dig just that little bit deeper i want to see your facial expressions change."
"next we're moving onto Kendall, last week you were on top of the pyramid you did a trio you for a group routine outstanding and your mother she stood in that dressing room and she had to take really nasty horrible crap and your mother stood up for me she stood up for the rest of the team"
"and next Eloise, in the group dance you were outstanding i thought you outdanced all these girls and you made it your own."
"thank you." Eloise smiles
"next Camila, in the group i thought you had great facials expressions you actually listened to the music you heard the words and that's what i want you to do for every routine you do, understand?" Abby says
"yes." i nod
"i think someone's waiting with baited breath..on top of the pyramid is Nia." Abby says
we all cheer for Nia
"now i'm sure you're all wondering why Nia is at the top of the pyramid, Nia is the only child who came to me at the conclusion of the competition and said what can i do better? so Nia congratulations."

"everyone is in the group routine, the name of the group routine is On The Verge sometimes there comes a moment when you lose it, you saw a woman you know very well spiralling out of control..how many people are walking around on the verge?" Abby asks
"now i have four solos, Chloe your featured trio spot was outstanding so this week you're going to be doing a solo entitled Fired up it has a Latin influence"
"Kendall, you'll be performing a solo it will be contemporary lyrical and the routine is called Under My Spell"
"Eloise, this week you'll be doing a lyrical solo entitled July"
"i have one more solo..Nia"
we clap for Nia
"Nia it's been a long time since you've had a solo, and i remember a while back you and the other moms and everybody thought it would be just wonderful to play tribute to Broadway Baby i disagreed i didn't think the timing was right..i might be seeing Broadway Baby again i mean i had Broadway Baby preserved but what i'm getting to Nia that you are going to do a Broadway Baby routine."

"i have to find my pillow case."
"alright girls we have four weeks away from nationals but it's time that i start looking for who's going to do a solo when we get there, i'll be watching let's spread apart let's start warming up."

we learn the group and it's my favourite one this season!
"what about if you do brush wack through that leg behind you use your momentum." Abby says to Maddie
"use your right shoulder, come on think! why can't you stay there?" Abby calls out to Maddie
"go slow down shes seven you're fifteen you're in charge if you can't do this to her come here if you can't do this and slow her down you're not a leader Brooke wasn't a leader i need her to step up and take charge of this team and she didn't."

we are doing the group routine with Gia because Abby isn't here yet
i really like my parts in the routine this week it's something different!
"hey guys, how's it going?" Abby says as she walks in
we start the routine from the top for Abby
"Chloe you just screwed that up!" Abby calls out
|Competition Day|
we get to the competition and the weather is so nice and i'm stuck inside
ughhh
we get to the dressing room
"last time we talked you were getting ready to go to Kelly's house what happened" Leslie asks
"oh you didn't hear? Kelly's here." Abby says
"today?" Kristie asks
"yeah." Abby says
"why?" Leslie says
"the fact of the matter is Kelly is and her kids are apart of the team." Jill says
"no let's get something straight The Abby Lee Dance Company has one president and it's me i rule this Abby Lee Dance Company when you have this quarterback that's old and they've had a good run and you have a new kid sitting on the bench
you gotta cut the quarterback loose and you gotta go with the rookie" Abby says
the girls come out in their costumes
"your costume is so pretty!" i say to Chloe
"thank you" Chloe smiles
"you know i'm looking at these girls for nationals. Chloe, Nia, Kendall think of this as an audition this is like a onstage performance to audition to do your solo at nationals." Abby says
all the solos perform and i think they all did amazing
Kendall had great facials
Nias solo was totally her style
Eloise told the story she was great
Chloe nailed her entire solo
she was incredible
we go back to the dressing room and the moms cheer
"you were so good! you were so good!" mom gushes to Chloe and gives her a hug
we get ready for the group routine
"Maddie were you bored not doing a solo today?" Abby asks
"or was it a nice rest?"
Maddie shakes her head
"no?" Abby asks
"it was- it was weird not doing one." Maddie answers
we run through the group before going backstage
"taking the stage now On The Verge." the announcer says
we all enter and we do the routine
i think it was a great routine and we all did so good
especially Chloe with her scream

and Eloise got first!
"moving into our junior small group" the announcer says
"fourth place, On The Verge."
